Bad customer service, lack of staff, had a tire warning light but not been helped this morning right after they opened!, I was asked to drop off the car but I couldnt because I have to go back home for the plumber, I had to leave, I went to do oil change and they added air to the tires,the light was gone, I went back there to tell him, can I ask a favor please, just check the tire cause the light is gone and Im not sure whats happening, then I can decide weather to drop it or not because theres no need to take a ride home then a ride back here if theres nothing in it!! He still didnt want to help me and said you have to drop off!! I looked and I found an Asian lady being helped she came after I left,I tod him Im surprised the lady is being helped without dropping off her car!! He said Im not going to argue with you, I said of course youre not!!Im not going to accuse him with anything, Ill let you think about it!!

Its a busy shop, so they must do a fair business. I ended up going elsewhere in the end. I have a popular size and we couldnt find the right tire in stock. My only complaint is that I buy tires maybe twice a year. I dont have time to do my own research. I just want a good tire and a fair price.

I needed 4 new tires on my 2011 Dodge Challenger. I googled and researched places within 20 miles. American Depot is very close to my house so I checked out their website as well as their reviews and I was impressed.However I also had checked other places so I thought I would start at American tire Depot and then move on from that location to a couple others before making a decision.Frank was my tire salesman rep and he took time to show me various deals I could get and I was able to make decisions right there on the spot. He was very good with his customer service skills, his knowledge, and his professionalism.The young man who put on my tires was named Ray and he was also very skilled at his work and very friendly and everyone had masks on which I definitely appreciate.I would recommend this business to anyone interested in getting good service and good prices for tires.

These guys knew there stuff, I did my homework before I went to the shop and I had prices already written down and tires selected. I searched from the lowest in mileage and price to the highest and everything they told me was spot on. Its nice to feel satisfied and not ripped off when you leave a shop. I will definitely go back for any of the services my car may need.

I arrived at the shop as a walk-in (I did my research on Yelp & google and they were close to home and competitive so I took the risk- but next time I’m making an appointment). Frank was working and had to help a few people before me and I was able to observe his customer service skills at work!!! Holy cow- this guy was awesome- clear and consistent messaging, taking the time to explain all charges, works w the customer to negotiate where he can, stays firm respectfully when he can’t budge. I was impressed but reserved the right to form an opinion until my direct interaction. I didn’t need to, He helped me with a friendly tone and with particular attention to my time. He also took the time to assess my car since it was due for an inspection and gave me an itemized and prioritized list of everything I needed to get done in the next three months. He took care of the fluids was and oil change and replaced filters at a price I could NOT BELIEVE! They have gained a lifelong customer in me and I’ll be sure to tell everyone in Buena Park where to go to get their tires and service after this experience. Thank you!

Ive always had a great experience with these folks. They definitely know theyre stuff. First time I came in, I simply wanted a tire change. They took one good look at my car and knew immediately that I did a lot of road tripping in extreme environments and that my tires were horrible. Might sound like theyre trying to up-sell you on things, but they show you whats wrong with the car (like cracks or tears) as opposed to just taking their word for it. Given their expertise and advice, my car has been running so much better, unlike other mechanics Ive been.Prices and customer service are great as well. William and Frank both have been straightforward and cool when it comes to getting a good deal and feeling like theyre trying to do right by the customer.I simply went to get a spare tire from them. Since then, Ive been going to them for all my car repairs. Definitely trust their advice.

American Tire Depot of Buena Park has made my day today!! and Im sharing my experience because Im pretty sure they can help others with the same professional services and attention they did with myself. I visited their location for a wheel alignment on my pick up truck and they did it with no waiting time at all at a great price!!! I even received a $20 discount. I drove out off their parking lot driving a new truck!!!

I had a great experience with American Tire Depot. It turns out my tires are not readily available even though my car is only 3 month old. The sporty sizes wheels made it so I had to order my tire. I brought the wheel (and ruined tire) to them on Monday morning. On the computer straight away, Frank was able to locate them and said “it might be 1-2 days to get them in”. But ... he made me a happy customer by calling the same afternoon and letting me know the tire was there. I drove down and the tire was installed immediately. Great service, a great experience and a really nice guy! I will definitely recommend others to American Tire Depot.

Terrible customer service, the manager on the phone ended up hanging up as I was saying my last words. Sad day for American tire depot. Never having my business again! Or any of the referrals given to you guys throughout the years.

David is the only person who knows how to handle business and customer. He is accurate and friendly. He should be promoted to general manager.

I wouldnt recommend this place for the following reasons:1. The first time I came and asked if they sold Kumho tires I was categorically told no which is false.2. The second time I came, I provided specs for a front and rear tire and asked for pricing across different brands including Kumho. At this point the price that I was quoted was higher than American Tire Depot at Cypress, American Tire Depot at Downey and American Tire Depot at Santa Fe. I asked if he would price match and he mentioned no they dont price match other American Tire Depot stores, but he will price match other tire stores which is bogus. It basically shows you how this place is being run.3. Using the psychological powers of influence and selling he went on to give more inaccurate information. He first not only mentioned the tires are in limited stock (this is accurate given Covid-19 has impacted production across tire manufacturers), but economy tires like Kumho will no longer be manufactured (bogus). Second, he went on to mention he was selling his tires at invoice pricing and the price he was providing was invoice pricing. Again, more bogus. Yes the pricing American Tire depot stores provide is an invoice price, but invoice for who? Invoice price for the customer, not the store.I believe and understand there are costs to order and ship which increases retail cost when 1 tire for the front and back are purchased, but please dont use nonsensical scarcity tactics and give false information that your store first doesnt sell Kumho tires.This store barely has any business. When asked about a patch that Id happily tip his guy, as I have in other stores, he mentioned Id have to wait an hour. After waiting an hour he didnt call at which point I decided to leave and take my business to American Tire Depot.Take your business to Jesse at American Depot at Santa Fe. Hes the man.

Went in an hour before closing to this place, how is it possible to go to a tire shop to get a flat repair and they do not have the material to fix it. No stars is a more appropriate rating.

The owner is quite welcoming, but definitely not the best shop out there. I took my car in for an alignment and tire mounting & balancing.- I checked the alignment results and my car had -2.5 camber is the rear, which is far beyond normal for my car (BMW F30). He told me that there is no camber adjustment for the F30 platform, and my car had aggressive camber because I lowered my car. I asked other shops and BMW F30 owners and they all told me that theres camber adjustment in the rear.- After getting my tires balanced, the car had CRAZY vibrations above 80 mph. Again he blamed it on my car and said that it was due to the spacers in the rear. I only put quality parts on my car. The spacers are from BMS, which is a reputable brand. I had to get my wheels rebalanced at a different shop, and the vibration went away.If you care about your car, I wouldnt recommend this place AT ALL. Find a better shop thats more knowledgeable about cars.+ I cant believe that the owner said that there is no camber adjustment in the rear because he owns the same car as me. He should know better.

Popped in on a Monday afternoon to get my wheels re-balanced, rotated and a wheel alignment but they were too busy, I wanted to wait for it. So I told em Id stop by Tuesday, got there, reminded em of what I wanted, had to wait a lil bit but they got me out sooner than expected all at a good price. Truck drives nice and straight now! Thx guys!

Yesterday, I had 4 new tires balanced and installed, oil change, and an air filter replaced. I also ended up getting a new serpentine belt installed after William showed me how worn out the old one was. I will definitely bring my other vehicle when I need any future car issues addressed, Thx William!!!

From our experience, this business is unethical and takes advantage of people unfamiliar with vehicle maintenance. My mother took her car in with a chief complaint of replacing the shock absorbers, explaining that the car had been very shaky as of late--which she explicitly told a worker by the name of F. Huerta. Huerta instead decided to replace parts that my mother was not interested in replacing and didnt even address the shock absorbers, charging an astronomical total of $3200.95. He passed off his work by using confusing mechanical jargon, being unclear that the shock absorbers were NOT in fact replaced. My mother believed it was replaced all this time. After noticing that the car was still very shaky, we returned and told them that the shaking was continuing. After examining the car, Huerta shrugged and snapped that this place did not replace shock absorbers. What? There is even a sign hanging inside that reads Struts and Shock, so of course we thought that this shop replaced shock absorbers. He should have informed my mother upfront that they do not replace shock absorbers and then told her of others parts he believes should be replaced, giving her OPTIONS like an ethical and moral mechanic would do. My mother was not interested in replacing other parts, as they were not emergent.Furthermore, in the Reason for Visit section of the receipt, he wrote 2 tires RH alignment lower control arms sway bar links and 2 front axles, with power flush. Note rec front and rear struts and shock. This is a complete lie. My mother is unfamiliar with vehicle maintenance, so how would she have known to say to replace all these specific parts? This is unethical as this section should be what the CUSTOMER says. Huerta even admitted that he was in the wrong in writing the treatment plan in this section when the chief complaint my mother made should have been written.We also looked up the price for these individual parts and discovered that Huerta overcharged parts by nearly double. A control arm was quoted for $489.99 (not even including the labor) on my receipt but was sold for $250 retail. When asked about this price gouging, Huerta sneered and simply retorted that his source “isn’t online.” We took our car to a different mechanic in Buena Park and asked them about the inflated price and he replied that yes, Huerta indeed overcharged for these parts and that he himself wouldn’t have billed us this much.Especially during the pandemic, $3200.95 is A LOT of money. This is MUCH more than the average Americans rent. It speaks volumes about this businesss morals and ethics (the lackthereof) that they are taking advantage of an Asian American womans low vehicle maintenance knowledge. Would they have done the same if it were a man who instead came with the same issue? She put her trust in the hands of F. Huerta, only to be sneered at and taken advantage of, overcharging on replacements she didnt ask for nor was she told about and given options. Its akin to you going to a dentist with a complaint of tooth pain that needs a root canal. The dentist treats other teeth with small cavities but not the tooth that actually hurts, and when you complain about he ongoing pain, he says he doesnt do root canals.TLDR: American Tire Depot Buena Park is an unethical and immoral shop that vastly overcharges parts and takes advantage of those who are unfamiliar with vehicle maintenance. They did NOT address my mother’s chief complaint with the car and instead replaced other parts she was uninterested in, using mechanical jargon to confuse her into thinking it was replaced. Their documentation is also immoral as they write whatever they fix into the “Reason for visit” section instead of writing the actual chief complaint per the customer.

Had one of the worst experiences here. Went to get all 4 tires changed, at that time it looked fine but looking back can see what happened. It was during a lunch shift when it looked like the main person who helps install tires was going to lunch and he said someone else will finish installing the rest of the tires. I visited my son in Sacramento soon after, and kept getting TPMS tire pressure notifcation on the dash as well as rattling inside the tire and a violent rattle of the steering wheel when going above 60MPH. I drove very slowly to Sacramento, called the store and spoke with Manager Frank who said he knows nothing about TPMS and said to just go to a American tires depot near sac and theyll take care of it. Well the nearest one was in Modesto, which was an hour drive away. We called Frank back who was reluctant to give us any verification if we can get refunded on amount that would cost to fix balance issue and what this sensor issue may be if we went to a different shop. Eventually, he agreed to call his manager who said they can reimburse up to 30 dollars for tire balance.Not sure about you, but if you get your tire balance done and you are not the mechanic or shop owner, the cheapest I found was for 10 dollars per tire. So they wouldnt even cover this.In addition, we found out at the local shop, whoever installed the tires BROKE 2 of the sensors while installing the tire. This explained why the sensor notification kept coming on. Verbatim based on the local shop in Sacramento, when an untrained installer helps install a tire, its apparently common that the sensor can break. Each sensor cost an addition 50 dollars and 15 for labor.I contacted the email American tires depot, and guess what since they probably know this is something they dont want to deal with, I got no response back!I cant in good conscience recommend such a shop knowing they cant own up to their mistakes, takes responsibility to ensure customer service recovery is handled seriously. Typical point their finger blaming something else.

Came here to change out my tires since I had a big gash on the sidewall of one of my tires. Before I called these guys, I had called 5 other shops who didn’t have my tires in stock and couldn’t get them until the next business day. William who helped me out, said he could get them in 2 hours.Took my car over and they started working on it. Come to find out that the wheel that had the gash on it also had a chunk of the rim missing from the rims edge on the inside part of the wheel. They wanted to throw the spare on but my subwoofer are bolted down to the trunks floor board so I said no and asked if my tire would hold. They pressure tested it and found it was ok but highly suggested I get a replacement ASAP and to bring it back and they’d take care of it.Called the shop I got my wheels from, Salinas tires in La Mirada, to find out they stopped making my wheels. Also turns out my wheels were fake! (I posted it on yelp but that’s a whole other story). Got replacement rims the next day and brought it back. William felt bad because of all of my troubles and got the work done quick!Honestly the best customers service from a tire shop I’ve ever received. They didn’t try and bs me or charge me for stuff I didn’t need like charging me to remove and install the tpms sensors which my car doesn’t have! (Again, Salinas tires did that to me).I am definitely coming back here for my car needs!!!Only thing is that their company name is “American Tire Depot” but their signs say “tires 4U” which was confusing especially when i tried to find the place. But that doesn’t change my rating or review on this place. More of a heads up to anyone looking for this place lol!
