I bought my car from here via good word of mouth. I live in Pasadena so it can be a bit of a hassle to take the car all the way down and often times drop it off for a rental. However the service department is usually quite friendly and helpful.I had some frustrations regarding my warranty, the services that werent covered and as far as finally getting in contact with someone from the financial department but the GM helped me through the process and made sure I left with all my concerns handled.

Beware of this dealership i got lured in with false advertisement and a web of lies. Please do your diligence before committing to going to this dealership and purchasing you’re vehicle. I’ll give you a quick summary of what happend over the phone they claimed the tacoma trd truck had 0 markup that was a lie, in person they literally force you to buy some after market cheap wheels called black rhino adding up too whopping $5,000 I asked the sales person if I could get the OEM wheels and he stated that I will have to pay an additional $1,500 for my oem wheels actually came with the tacoma which is completely outrageous when you already paying full MSRP. Please don’t fall in there trap lies and taking a vantage of customers.went to Longo Toyota to order my truck with zero hassle zero markup nor extras fees.downside I would have to wait a couple months to allocate truck no rush patiencien is the key to success its a sellers market not a buyer market

Passed by here for an oil change while we are on a long road trip. We were told the wait was two hrs service but became almost 3 hrs. Otherwise, we were comfortable and sat on their table chairs by the showrooms. Bathroom are very clean and smells good. Staff is very nice and very informative.

I bought a brand new 2021 Toyota Tacoma before Christmas of 2020 and paid in full. A temporary plates expired in January of 2021. Today is October 25 of 2021 and Toyota still don’t have an answer why I still don’t have license plates, registration nor title. I went to the dealer and 1 promised after another. I called and transferred to finance department with voice mail left. Nothing ever happened!They very much don’t care if I come back to buy another car or not. Luxury cars have better treatment and that’s what I will stick to now. Toyota is a good car but with this kind of low class, unprofessional service, then never Toyota again. Sucks!

I really was impressed with Toyota of Buena Park - other dealers were marking up the cars using the microchip Shortage as a valid reason. This place wasn’t doing that and I was greeted by Robin who was very straight forward and very courteous. He wasn’t your typical car salesman. He knew his numbers and what he was talking about.After an hour of trying to work out a deal, we ran into an issue but the manager stepped in and helped me work an awesome deal. I highly recommend this place. This is by far the best car buying experience.I would come back to this place again!

This is, hands down, the best experience I have ever had buying a new car. Im seventy years old and have purchased a few but this was the best! My sales rep was Heiu Phamh. Great young man. He was very knowledgeable about everything Prius. It was well worth coming up to this Toyota dealership from San Diego. He was most helpful. He helped us save a bunch of money on our trade in.

Leaving a review here since you guys emailed me and asked for a review.You guys are the most unprofessional dealership I have ever experienced. Every time I go in for an oil change, the experience gets worse.I went in for a simple oil change and it took 3 hours. How is that possible? It shouldnt take that long, and I had to ask some worker for my status near my 2 and a half hour mark (he didnt even bother to update me) and I had to go find my rep to check the status of my vehicle when I now waited for 3 hours!Even after letting my rep (Pete/Steve whatever) knew my dissatisfaction, he didnt even apologize. A SORRY GOES A LONG WAY YOU KNOW.I get emails from you for discounts, but its not even worth it anymore. I will never go to your dealership again.Fix your system. This starts from management. DO BETTER.

I don’t know why the dealership keeps asking me to write a review when they NEVER get back to me on my concerns. I never planned on returning but I had to get a set of wheel locks. The parts attendant lied to me about the lock not being in stock (confirmed by supervisor). Which led me to expressing my lack of faith of their employees due to my experiences from previous visits (also lied to, costing me more money). The supervisor told me they want to perform a multi-point inspection of my vehicle to ensure things were correct. But since it was almost 3pm, they told me that I would have to come back another day - they don’t take cars at 3pm. So I made an appointment for 8:30am three days later. The next day, I get an email confirming my appointment for… get this… 3PM!!!! So I had to call and complain again. On the day of my appointment, they sold me new tire locks and DID NOT DO A MULTI-POINT INSPECTION! None! So they wasted my time! Not only does this dealership’s service/parts prices keep going up, they lie, they deflect it when you complain, and they don’t do their job. They just take your money.

My 18 year-old son bought a used 2005 Toyota Camry Solara SE from a used car lot and I took it in to AutoNation to have them check it out. I straight out told them that I had no idea what the condition of this car was and I was putting it in their hands. They took it, gave it a thorough look-through and came back with positive news. They couldve told me that it needed a complete overhaul and I would have accepted it but they were honest. I appreciate this. AutoNation will be my go-to for my sons Toyota.

This was my second trip back to AutoNation Buena Park for service for my Tacoma pickup. On both occasions, I was treated very well by the staff, and kept informed as to what services my truck needed. I was given a ride home on both occasions by the dealership. Services were performed in a very timely manner, and had my truck return to me after only a few hours. I especially Want To Praise the service representative, Daniel Choo, who kept me apprised of my truck service, and communicated with me by telephone, as well as bye text, and email. I will be returning to AutoNation again for service in the near future.

Went to look at a car knowing ahead of time I wasn’t going to finance through them but through my credit union. I got the car and went strait to my credit union. After I got confirmation from fedex that my check had been delivered and signed for, I get a very mean call from some guy named Eddie, he says that I never sent the check and he is going to process my loan regardless. I called and left at least 5 voice mails with no call back. I had my credit union try to call as with no success. I finally get a hold of Eddie after I get a bill from Citibank for my car loan. He calls me a liar and says no calls were ever made, no voicemails were left, no check was sent and I’m left to my own for figure it out. I’ve never been treated so rude and with such discontent. Now I have to coordinate a payoff and new loan with my credit union all because Eddie can’t handle simple tasks. I hope everyone takes note and goes anywhere else for your car needs

I have to give a shout out to the service department. I was at a local drive through car wash off Lincoln and Knott and one of their hydraulic lines busted and sprayed 3 cars top to bottom. It was drenched in oil and the car wash refused to help other than saying drive through the wash 2 more times which of course did nothing. I brought my car to the dealer that Ive used for years with both of my Toyotas and have to say I received the most kind and considerate treatment from the service writer and his team member that buffed out my car. They worked together to figure out the best way (concentrated solution) and elbow grease to get it all out. Mind you I had just brought the car to a body shop that said it would be an expensive job. They suggested trying a detail place first. I am so glad I brought it to Auto Nation. They are honest, kind, and treated me like family. They empathized with my frustration and did EVERTHING possible to make it right. My car looks terrific and Im always going here for my service needs!!!

I had been looking for this specific color and trim on this Toyota Tundra and no one had one. So, I called several Toyota dealerships and Eric at Buena Park Toyota called me as soon as it came in. And about 3 weeks had passed since I had initially talked to him. I went and bought it that same day he called back. Also, Precious in the finance department was able to get me the extended warranty without changing my monthly payment. And, she even entertained my 7 year old son who was wanting her attention. Got a recall letter from Toyota Buena Park and brought my 19 4Runner in for a fuel pump recall on Friday before Labor day. Dropped the car off at 7:15 am and never heard anything back from the dealer. I called at 3:30 pm to get a status and was told my car was ready. Why didnt my service rep call me to let me know? Picked up my car and during the weekend the Check Engine light came on. Brought the car back to the dealer Tuesday 7:00 am. Told them the CEL came on after the recall fix and when I looked online, other owners had the same problem and said it was the EVAP hose had not been reinstalled correctly. Service Rep said she would call me back and let me know what the problem was later that morning. Never got a call. Called multiple times after 12 pm to get a status and was told they were working on it and didnt have an update. Finally got a call back around 3 pm saying the car was ready. When I asked what the problem was they said the EVAP hose had to be reinstalled. Ive owned several Toyota and Lexus vehicles and have been to at least 4 other dealers for service. The communication at this dealership is the worst Ive ever experienced. Having to bring your car in for a recall is inconvenient by itself but having to bring it back to be fixed because the repair wasnt done right is worse. I will not use this dealership again. I would like to say thank you to Chandler in the Sales Department who took personal action to get the Service department to call me back. He was the only positive experience in the episode. If everyone worked with the same conviction Chandler did, the experience would probably be totally different.

I receive excellent service from service tech, Pete Amezola. He was friendly, efficient & thorough. He provided great customer serviceHowever I was very disappointed with the service from the cashier when I picked up my vehicle. She was rude & lazy telling me I had to go back to the service tech for paperwork when she had it all along. There were no other customers so there was no reason she couldn’t have at least followed up with the tech before sending me away. She seemed a bit embarrassed that she did have my paperwork all along. I worked for a large freight company for over 25 years & know what great customer service is. Thank you Pete!!

I will NEVER again purchase a vehicle from Buena Park Toyota. I have bought my past 3 Toyota’s from there and was looking to purchase my 4th. The service that I got today was unacceptable. I was interested in running numbers on a 4Runner that I was looking to either Finance or Lease. I was asked 3 times if I was buying today. When I said no not today they passed me off to someone else. When I asked the rep if I could run numbers he said that he would need to run my credit. I told him no I would not be running credit today since I have great credit. He then went on to tell me there really is no reason to run numbers if I won’t be purchasing the vehicle that same day since it could be sold the next day. I was still Insisting to run numbers to see which option I would go for. Finance or lease. So he excused himself to get the information on the vehicle. As I was waiting I was wondering what was taking so long. Seemed like he really wasn’t willing to help me since I then saw him outside assisting another customer. At that point I just left the dealership. I won’t be giving my business to a sales person who doesn’t want to assist me. My overall experience was horrible. So unless you tell them you are buying a car they are willing to work with you. Other wise they don’t care to help you and pass you off to someone else who will. And even when they do they take their sweet time doing so. So no I will not be giving my business to Buena Park Toyota. Nor will I recommend them to friends and family.

It was my 1st time getting my car serviced after 6 months. (3/6/21) They did the routine 6 month inspection minus the oil change since it hadnt reached the 5000 mile mark. Wasnt very fond of the 3 hour wait especially since I was the second car there. They did mentioned it was going to be a long wait so I was patient. Even after I saw other customers that came after me leave 1st. I finally went home and it wasnt till the next day that I saw a scratch that I know wasnt there before,(front driver side bumper. I park my car in reverse so that side is never next to a car or wall) but I let it go cause I should have checked the car before leaving the dealership, but I didnt. I could have called them as well to ask, but I didnt want to deal with more waiting. So the mystery of how the car got scratched shall remain a mystery. 3 out of 5 because Im just venting I was mad then and Im over it now. Other than that Ill be back for the oil change in a few months. Hoping the second experience is better. Employees were kind and helpful.

I want to start by saying the mechanic I worked with was easy to talk to and there were no service issues. My car runs great again so far. Im just still reeling from sticker shock. Every single fluid change was about $300 and so my bill worked out to be 2x the parts cost in labor. No hourly on the itemized breakdown, so I assume the dealership charges flat rates for each service. It was extremely inflated. I know in general the idea of going to a dealership is to get the job done right the first time though, so I hope I made the right choice. On the plus side, Ive been told all work here is guaranteed for 12 months or 12000 miles. I dont see it on the paperwork, but I assume it still applies.

I was not very happy with the service experience at Toyota of Buena Park. I had a 12:30 appointment for an oil change and I did not leave until after 3:30? Why would it take 3 hours to do an oil change? I was not told that it would take that long. Im sure most people would appreciate knowing so arrangements could be made to be picked up. Also when I asked after 2 hours I was told it would be another 15 minutes when in fact it was another hour.

Do not recommend at all. They let you wait for long hours. That’s not all, what really bothered me was that they made me signed a fake contract so I could stay with them. Be careful with this dealership and STAY AWAY if you can, I wish I could sued them for giving me a fake contract.

Would put todays visit at around 3 1/2 to 4 stars. My appointment was same day and my Service Advisor Daniel was very friendly. My biggest complaint was that I received an offer in the mail 2 days prior for an oil change with synthetic oil and that a car wash was included. When my car was brought out to me it clearly had not been washed and I asked the attendant and he said they still have not resumes car washes. Why would you send me a brand new advertisement in the mail offering this service if you are truly not offering this service??? Update as of 6/17. The GM of the dealership called me and asked for more details. I could tell we was genuinely concerned and we was very receptive and professional. Like I said, everything else went great! So even though I had an unfortunate experience that day, I will still use Toyota of Buena Park and can suggest them for servicing needs.

When I showed up to test drive the CRV the sales girl was very polite, patient and willing to not only let me test drive the car I wanted twice, but let me test drive a comp car for comparison. She let me and my wife take our time to think about it and when we told her we made up our minds to pull the trigger she was happy to help....and this was a Sunday night! Now for the negatives: they do sneak in an extra chunk of money if you want to go with the better APR (if youre financing). I followed up with the sales dept with emails and text messages with a list of promises that were made to me when we bought the car, only to have no one get back to me. In the end it was a pleasant buying experience and even the service dept was pleasant, just dont expect call backs when something is owed to you.

Went into Toyota Buena Park due to lease about to expire, did a buy out and was told I had 5 days to cancel which is even in my contract. Same day I contacted the dealer to cancel and replace my vehicle to purchase a new model since the new payment is just about the same of a new vehicle. Was told by the director of finance that it isn’t a possibility and that the contract form that says I have 5 days to return is just a standard form they have to include. I contacted Toyota Financial directly which is the lender who financed me and they don’t show the “new contract” they still show the vehicle under lease. Rep at Toyota Financial said dealer must be attempting to force me to stay in my contract for whatever reason and trying to cover their end. I just emailed my contract to my attorney guess it will have to go to arbitration.

We had worked through a lot of the details in advance with Cesar before driving from where we live 2 hours away. The drive is always worth it for us! Cesar even went out of his way twice when I realized hours later that I had forgotten my work cell phone AND my sunglasses in the trade in. He was like no problem, Im on it! I purchased a new car here and received an email from my salesperson that he will continue to help me afterwards. About a month and a half afterwards, I still hadnt received my license plates and registration. He reiterated that he told me it would take up to three months. Two weeks before my dealer plates expired, I emailed him and asked for advice, but he never responded. I emailed again 3 days before expiration and still no response. I called and a representative told me I need to go to the DMV to get it.The DMV representative informed me that this is a tactic dealers use to try and cut expenses. They will order the plates, but wont send them out unless they have a significant amount that they can mail them en masse. He told me it is often fraudulent because they are holding the license plates there, so suggested I file a complaint with the DMV so they investigate.

They usually do an a amazing job but this last experience wasn’t the best. I went in to replace the recalled part. I got my car back on a Saturday right before they close with the fuel gage not working and my check engine light going on after driving for a few miles. I had to take my car back on a Monday, which is a major inconvenience for me, so I kindly asked for a complementary car wash. I guess they didn’t care about the inconvenience they caused me because they didn’t wash my car, although it was wouldn’t have been a major inconvenience for them.

I bought a new 2021Camry hybrid LE from Mr. Ryan lively Auto nation Buena park, I called and he found 2021camry hybrid LE is lowest than other car dealer price in orange county, just about 3 hours and I drive the New car home. Terrible experience here, I was purchased a new 2021 Rave4, after two months later, I realized if I don’t use the car for a whole day, the car will be dead, I was back to the dealership for 2 times, the only thing they did was changed battery, they don’t even know it is not the issue of battery, the third time, I was contacted HQ, and then they checked my car carefully and finally fixed one of the issues! Later on another issue is come out, when I contacted to the CarPlay, it will be disconnected for few seconds and then it will reconnect, not too much, only couple times a day, once almost killed me because I was driving on freeway, the screen was suddenly turn off, after few sec came back, I was in the dealership trying to fix it, they took my car, and left me here, no rental car, no shuttle service, I was spent too much time and money on it, i hope they can fix that lemon car. Every time I need to drop off and pick up my car, right now I was spent 10 days! Nobody care this, only thing we can do is wasting our time and money and energy on a lemon car. No damage to the dealership.

The worst experience I have had in any car dealership. They not only tried to trick me into paying for extra fees, gave me the highest APR that Ive seen in my life, they were making bets on whether I would fall for it. When I walked away, the employees just snickered away. This is my second time coming here, my first experience was also quiet bad. As soon as they found out I want to purchase a pre-owned vehicle they look down on me and kept passing me on to their newest employee. I really dont recommend going here...avoid it at all cost!

After having a bad experience when taking my car in to be serviced the service manager personally reached out to me and discussed my concerns. I know that you cant always have good experiences, but when you have a bad one and the company does what it can to try to turn it into a good one, thats when you know youre dealing with good people.

Went in for a recall and found slow moving techs and limited help. Waited for my appointed service person but was busy helping someone else while 2 others were just standing around. After waiting for 20 mins, finally asked one of them to help check my car in since the other guy was busy. I left the car there and was going to pick up later and said it would be ready in 3hrs. After waiting 6hrs I finally called to ask if the car was ready and they said they were going to check and call me back. Less than a minute later they called me back and said I can come pick up. Why did it take my call to tell me to pick up instead of them calling me as soon as my car was ready. Also, noticed an email from the dealer of an appointment they made without my permission for service in 3 months. They could have asked my if I wanted to make an appointment instead of sneaking that in there and get harassed by the service department later when I miss that appointment.

Came in for my oil change…still waiting . Per my last review, I was supposed to be followed up on but never was. The arm rest that was ordered was lost so now I have to wait longer. Bought the car in February of this year.No calls or anything until I make it in the store and I understand that they are short staffed but no follow ups?!So at the moment they’re trying to make me pay for the oil change even though I have paperwork showing I have to Toyota care plan. Had my appointment at 7:15am and I have a feeling I will be here for a while.I’m watching people that came after me leave already.On top of everything, I have to wait till Monday to hear about issues regarding my plates which are expiring soon.Honestly the only person that has gone out of his way to help me is Alfredo. He listens to my concerns and is doing his best to help with what he can.

Its not a horrible place to go but it definitely left me irritated. I was told my service would take 2-2 1/2 hours. My appt was at 9am, I did not pick up my car until 1:30, and thats only because I called to ask if my car is ready. Even then the first time no one helped us. Someone called after and asked questions as if my car was not there or they lost it. Then right after someone called to say I could pick up my car. I would not have mind if they would have called and told me they were running behind. But since I had to call around 1pm to see what happened is ridiculous. Even then I asked the guy if they could check my tire bc the tire/air symbol has been popping up and a few days after the symbol popped up again (so im assuming it wasnt checked out). I get they might be short staffed but communication here could have made things so much better.

Good service, on time delivery of my car while I waited, pleasant and helpful staff. Im a brand new customer for AutoNation Toyota in Buena Park (recent move from out of State), and heres a suggestion which might really set this dealership apart from other Toyota places (Customer Service, are you reading this???): How about giving the car a quick wash (or at least spray rinse...) before handing it back to the customer? SoCal air seems pretty dirty to me and deposits a LOT of dust, etc., on cars all the time...so, after spending a couple of hours and more than a couple of hundred $$$ with you, perhaps you could have, as a gesture of extra thanks. run the car through a little wash/spray to remove all the dust accumulated on it? Oh well, maybe next time? Think about it! (That quick wash would have, BTW, gotten you the 5 star rating.)

Zero stars for this unethical dealership took my car in for a 6 month service which should have been 30 minutes, they told me would be 2 1/2 hours ( essentially to rotate tires), and they lost my car on site. 4 hours later, after multiple contacts by me with service rep, they returned it and they state it was done in 15 minutes General manager didn’t call me back for 8 days and offered nothing and just a “ we ‘re sorry”. I sent email to Corporate office It’s not the first time I had issues with them, it will be the last.Judy rotty

I scheduled a test drive for a 2021 Camry SE Nightshade online and Hieu replied to me within minutes. He was very courteous in his reply, and let me know whenever I was able to come in, he would have the car ready. When I arrived, the car was out front waiting. He greeted me in the parking lot and went over some of the details of the car before we went for the test drive. The whole process from the initial email to the sale and finance was seamless. They were a little busy for a Monday night, which wasn’t a problem since I got what I was looking for. Thank you Hieu and Precious for the help! DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. They are very professional at the time of purchase. When it comes to the SERVICE it’s one of the WORST dealerships I’ve ever dealt with on my life. You can make an appointment and still be there waiting up to 2hours for an oil change. Also, my dash board where my radio is goes in and out on my brand new 2022 Toyota Camry. I brought it and explained what was happening to my advisor to no avail it wasn’t fixed. I brought it in a second time for the same problem NOTHING. I called for the service manager, never returned my call. The advisor finally calls me back only to tell me “ I need to bring my car down and leave it” no rental or anything. I’ve never experienced anything like this! I don’t want this car any longer.

When I purchased the car (2020 camry), the sales person handed over only one car key. He said I can get another one anytime after the day.Due to my personal issue and pendamic, I requested a key couple weeks ago. The service person said he can not find out any record. He promised to return to me after the day. A staff in the dealer shop called me next day and he asked me what the sales persons name. Also he said he can not find out any record. Even he does not know what kind of car I purchased.I just want to get another car key.Thanks

They actually broke my windshield during a repair. Going to find out today if they will fix its.Horrible experience with the service manager after driving back to take pictures, he thinks it was a rock.Thankfully I called back and got the real GM and hes been a big help.Im hoping for some good news soon but I can tell the GM here really cares to at least hear what happened.I know my windshield was damaged during repair but Im also greatful for the great job on the main repair.Thanks Juan.Thank you guys

Bought a 2020 used corolla from them. A couple irritating things made the experience less than ideal. Realized too late car did not have floor mats, and when I picked it up, was told I could buy them for $160, they only gave me one remote/key - I asked for another - not negotiable. I had to look around get the missing mats at a decent price and have a remote/key, made. Seems toyota dealer could absorb that minor cost and sell a complete car. Also noticed reservior for coolant was on low side too. So do they really check these cars over as they advertise?Finally a couple day after purchased, found windshield was covered in small chips - only noticed when driving into low sun, and then was pretty bad. Split the cost with dealer to get it replaced. That was done quickly at least.

We finally decided on what car to get and what colors, specs, and options we wanted. Once we figured that out, we started shopping for the right price and the right guy to buy from. I visited the dealership on a Sunday afternoon and Bernie was there to greet us.
