I normally use the Toyota dealership since I have a vehicle that is no longer made by Toyota anymore. But I decided to find a mechanic that I can trust, since the dealership is so expensive and my car is no longer under warranty. B&B Automotive exceeded my expectations. I am so happy with the services that they provided me. From drop off to pick up, they have customer satisfaction and retention in mind. Not only do they want to do quality work on your vehicle, but they want to make you feel good about getting the work done. I had been putting the work off because the quote I was getting from the dealership was going to be around $2000 for the 100,000 mile maintenance. When I brought it to the shop, George told me they would do a thorough check and see exactly what needed to be done and what didnt and would go from there. When I got the quote back, not only did they save me a significant amount of money, but they showed me proof of what needed done and what didnt. To me, these guys know how to keep customers. I recommend them to everyone I know. I will never go back to the dealership, as long as they are in business. Thank you George and Gary for everything!

Weve been taking our cars to B&B for years and have been very pleased with their service. They are honest and up front about repairs needed and recommended, providing proof and explanations. They are timely, courteous, communicative, and fair with their prices. We have them do some repairs and do the simpler things ourselves. I will continue to use and recommend them.

Everyone I talked to in person and over the phone were very friendly and seemed like they genuinely wanted to help.With this being said, when I got my truck back there was white dog hair and a dog bone in the backseat. I do not own a dog. Additionally, in the bed of my truck there were french fries and it took them three days to get my truck back to me and I was never updated on any delays in repair or when it was ready to be picked up. Lastly, their diagnosis fee is crazy high; $150 before repair—I should’ve just taken my truck to a Ford dealership instead.Given the amount of positive reviews, I am extremely disappointed with the service I received and even more disappointed that there was an animal in my car that I didn’t know about.

I had an amazing experience with my visit to B&B Automotive. There care deeply about their customers, and they take pride in what they do. Even giving me a little goodie bag when my car was done ☺️ My cars engine coolant had a leak and I needed it fixed immediately for my trip to Tennessee. My daughters Jeep broke down. Not being from Bryan I asked her to find a repair shop that had good reviews. She found B&B. They provided us with a complete inspection that was very impressive. From beginning to end they were helpful, detailed and their customer service is second to none. They took care of the issue and got her back on the road a day later. Plus their work comes with a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty which leaves you feeling confident. Although I hope her vehicle doesn’t break down anytime soon, if it does we know exactly where to go.

As someone who does their own work on their truck I get mis treated by alot of shops who realize I just want inspections and diagnosis. But these guys gave me the best inspections Ive ever gotten checking every single detail in the entire vehicle even taking pictures and videos and every single thing all in less than an hour

Brought a used car in for a full rundown and inspection. They squeezed me into the schedule without hesitation and made special arrangements for my situation. The report was extremely thorough and made me feel very confident my money was spent well- both with them and the vehicle. They found one issue and didnt even try to upsell the repair which they easily could have. This to me demonstrates extremely good character and I now believe I have finally found a home for trustworthy auto repair and maintenance. Also the little goody bag they gave my wife and me sealed the deal for future business!

Brought it in at 1:00 p.m. and was told it would be looked at first thing in the morning. They didnt start looking at it until 1:00 p.m. the next day. They didnt get back to me with any information until 5:00 p.m. the next day. I asked them to check a specific issue that they had already fixed before. $150 later they havent checked the issue and want to do $450 worth of diagnostic work. This isnt the first time where Ive brought it in for one issue and they find others and charge me without even asking me.If I bring it in for a reason and thats not the problem, I should be called before $150 worth of extra work is done.

I had a wonderful experience with B&B Automotive Services! They took my truck in, did a full service inspection, replaced my A/C condenser and had my truck back to me in under 24 hours! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and they are a family owned business!

We used this shop to do maintenance on our one of our vehicles. When we arrived to pick up the car, they could not find the keys anywhere...apparently someone dropped the key in the middle of the street on the way to the convenience store. The key was ran over and no longer works. They paid for the key but now we have to go back to the dealership to get another key made.Very unprofessional and will not be going back.

This was a great experience. I had traveled to College Station to visit a daughter and my engine light came on and the truck was dry. B&B took me in without an appt., and my wait was less than an hour. They took photos for future reference to find a suspected oil leak. I felt comfortable making the 4 hour drive home after taking it to them. I was surprised and happy to find an Easter Egg in a little basket on my passenger seat from B&B. Further, Ill probably make it a habit to get my truck serviced when Im in College Station at B&B rather than locally. Thats how much I liked their service.

Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Our A/C was not working, another repair shop said we needed an entire new system.. I now know that was because they couldnt pinpoint issue and was the only way they could guarantee the fix which is understandable. B&B found the issue and were able to fix just that portion for way cheaper. Recently went in to figure out an electrical issue with headlight. They pinpointed problem quickly and even charged me less than the test usually costs since they were able to do it so fast. Highly recommend. They also give a nice little gift basket with every visit and this time it included a free car wash 😆

Very pleased with B&B. First time customer. Daughter is college student and was in town visiting from nursing school in Dallas. Had problem with alternator and battery. Needed to return to Dallas the next day. Diagnosed issue, got parts, completed repair, and daughter was able to get back on the road in plenty of time to get home before dark. Cant thank them enough! As a parent you always worry when kids are on the road. Having confidence in the repair and getting her home safely means everything. I took my car into B&B Automotive due to a Brake light coming on. Even though I had not experienced anything unusual with braking, I knew the light indicated a problem and wanted the team at B&B Automotive to assess the issue. B&B was very professional, taking a day or so to assess the vehicle and identify the primary issue (brake fluid leaking from the main brake drum), but also identified several other smaller items that I might want to consider addressing. B&B went over all of the issues, prices on each, and allowed me as the customer to choose what to address. They fixed the brakes and a couple of other issues I wanted done, and my car was ready within less than a week from taking it in. All in all I was very please with my overall experience, B&B professionalism and expertise, and would definitely take my vehicle back in the future. I would highly recommend you consider them if you are looking for an honest, local, and experienced shop for your vehicle.

B&B Automotive Services always does an excellent job of repairing my car. I appreciate the full and detailed diagnostics of everything that is wrong with my car including how and when it might need to be repaired or replaced. They dont try to sell me things I dont need. I completely trust them to chose excellent, high-quality parts at a reasonable price. They are kind, prompt, helpful, and honest. I came here to see what was wrong with my car since it had the oil lamp light turned on. They were able to find the problem and get it fixed all within a day! I was worried that I would have to leave it for the weekend but they got right down to business and fixed up my car. Theyre very nice and I highly recommend them. Next time I need an oil change or some repairs, I am coming back to them!

I just had 4 new tires put on my vehicle and wanted to have the wheel alignment checked. Within minutes they drove it, put it on the rack and connected their equipment. It was just a little out of alignment. While I waited they correct it and within 50 minutes I was driving away. These folks are very nice, professional and do great work. I will definitely use them the next time I need service.

I took my car to B&B to get a second opinion on an AC issue. They found the problem quickly and were able to get it fixed for far less than the first place. It was a huge relief to know it would only be a few hundred (because they found the real issue) compared to what the other place wanted to do. Everyone was very nice. I love that they text a report of what was fixed, what is fine, and what will need serviced soon. It’s the only place I’ll use from now on.

This place is awesome I went for a wheel alignment but They told me my car doesn’t need any, they checked it for free! I really appreciate George honesty, not every tire shop does that. They even left me some goodies. Thank you guys!

Went in to have a bulb changed out on my company truck and I tell you what.. absolutely amazing customer service. The owner(I assume) told me there was a 2 day wait. But instead he went out changed the light and was done within 30 minutes! He is a blessing thank you!!

Fast and friendly service. Took my truck in for front end service. Thought it needed ball joints replaced because is was squeaking loudly. Turns out just needed lubed. Gary was very honest and had the shop check over the truck for any other issues and gave me estimates for other repairs that needed attention. I’m glad I found this shop. I will be a repeat customer

Our Truck’s A/C went out and I’m not Originally from this area so wasn’t sure where to take it so I wouldn’t get overcharged.My Wife who grew up here said her Grandfather had always used B&B for years so I figured they must be very reliable and trustworthy, having known him myself.I was not disappointed!I went in early Thursday and asked if they could fit me in because I had to drive to Waco VA Hospital the next day and was hoping to have A/C for the trip.One of the Mechanic Techs actually worked through his Lunch break to make sure I was taken care, they were fair I felt in what they Charged for Labor and broke everything down in a itemized Receipt showing each Part and Task and Amounts. They gave me a First Time Customer/Military Discount also to help.There was a nice little Gift Box inside the Truck when I went out to Leave and also a Free Car Wash Token and later they sent me a Thank You Card.And you can’t beat the Warranty on the Work, which gives me confidence that they are going to do their best to get it fixed right the first time.I highly recommend for any repairs you’re not capable of yourself.

One of the most thorough inspections I’ve ever seen. Everything was done extremely well, and even pointed out some issues that I didn’t ask them to take a look at. Their online report is the most comprehensive service report I’ve seen. Overall, they were extremely good and reasonably priced. I will be using them for any future mechanical needs as long as I’m living in the area.

Matt, Clay, Gary and their crew of highly capable mechanics are the real deal. They are genuine and honest. They will check your vehicle thoroughly, recommend repairs and act only on what you tell them to repair. They will tell you what needs to be fixed in order to operate your vehicle efficiently and safely, without pushing for unnecessary repairs. They even have instituted a loaner car program if you are completely without transportation while your repairs are being done. Very nice helpful people on the phone and in person. Lack of attention to detail and problem solving in the shop even with a written list submitted by the customer, a mechanic of 45 years with an accident on the road through Texas that I could not deal with myself.I won’t recommend B&B for my family that lives in Bryan or use again when I visit 2 times each year purely for technical reasons and the ability to act upon written instructions including those given by the service writer to the mechanic while I listened and the job was not done as I asked. 80% complete and I will finish myself when I get back to South Carolina. They are very courteous however. This is my personal opinion only which may not be accurate by other standards and should not be used in ways harmful to B&B.Update: Dec 2020. I just tripped across my original review from last year and just now saw their reply. Pretty amazing. Their reply seems to be a pre-prepared canned reply which may be of concern that they need such a tool ready to send out. This was not an insurance claim, no adjuster came out, I dont live in Bryan as was travelling through, my written work order I typed was a extremely detailed (I write machinery specs for a living and do forensic equipment failure analysis). I noticed they did NOT attach my note to their work order so the tech didnt have benefit to read it and what I wanted checked. They only did a front end alignment which I did not specify as their only work and didnt find anything grossly out of spec. Yet, a child could hear the clunking noise from the front end and feel a bump in the steering wheel timed to the noise meaning they must not have driven my Yukon to verify the complaint or their work. The nose occurred as before leaving their own parking lot. I decided to go elsewhere to another place with less ego and more knowledge.

Amazing place! They are honest and extremely fair, they’re one of a kind! In fact, I still go back here although I now live an hour and a half away. They take photos of what they looked at and fixed; very impressed.

Im always skeptical about taking vehicles to shops, but in this case it was very informative and positive! They have done things which I have never seen shops do before, and that is give you a, online portal-based synopsis of issues diagnosed on your car, even with pictures of the issues! Gary, the owner, was very upfront about his charges and work preformed, so although it was a bit pricey to fix my car, I respected the communication given to me. All in all, I would definitely take it back again (if I couldnt fix it myself). Side note: I even got a little gift basket!

I am new in town and recently had an issue with my minivan. I asked several people their recommendations for an honest auto mechanic, and B&B was a name that kept coming up repeatedly. Gary was able to see me right away and within only a few hours he had diagnosed and fixed the problem. In addition, he conducted an thorough inspection of my vehicle and provided me with a detailed report. A few extra issues were uncovered by the inspection, but Gary put no pressure on me to have them fixed right away. His price was very reasonable, and I was really impressed with his friendliness and with the time he took to explain the issues with my van in understandable language. I will definitely be taking all my vehicles to B&B for service in the foreseeable future.

Moved to BCS Oct 18 and needed a repair within a few days. Took The Ghost somewhere else and was so disappointed. Searched again on Google, found incredible reviews for B&B and took The Ghost the next day after the disappointing repair job and poor customer service at the other place. 180° difference, felt safe when pulling outta B&B driveway, unlike the other location, and customer service beyond reproach.Ive been back at least 6 times in past 19 months just because the quality work, the cost, and incredible care they provide to every client.I broke down on the other side of Austin. Debated whether to have a repair shop there work on The Ghost. Nope, had The Ghost towed 124 miles to B&B becuz needed someone I could trust.I keep hoping The Ghost would just disappear, its decrepit, 17 years old, has nearly anything and everything wrong with it, but the engine is in great shape and has only 141K miles on it, so B&B doesnt judge, just does the work The Ghost needs to keep me going safely.Couldnt ask for more from the crew, George, Gary and all at the shop.

We have gone to B&B three times now. My daughter is a student at Texas A&M so when we were in town we searched the internet and found them. We had to have my daughters car towed to their business due to car problems right around closing time. The next day they had her car looked at and fixed a little after lunch. They made her car a priority. On another occasion my daughter had a problem with her headlight and they installed the part we provided and didnt charge to do this service. We recently visited for the 3rd time this past week. We showed up around 4 pm needing to have a tire taken off our vehicle and replaced with a new tire and wheel. They fixed it immediately without much of a wait. We were out of there in probably 15-20 minutes. They definitely have great customer service. When my daughter had her car towed and fixed they left a special thank you bag in her front seat. If you need a car taken care of definitely consider them for your auto needs.

They were amazing with me. As a women you get concerned if they are going to rip you off, but they were so good. They showed me everything wrong with me car. With pictures and explained it on my level.

We took our SUV in thinking we needed new brakes. They ran a full check of our vehicle and sent a service report, including pictures, of what they recommended- brake replacement not being one of them. They could have easily just replaced them only because thats what we asked and went about their day. We truly appreciate their honesty. We only had a limited amount of time for our car to be serviced so they did a few important things and we will be back asap to finish up our other service recommendations. Thanks B&B!

Theres no better place to take your malfunctioning vehicle, full stop. The people who run this place are extremely honest, friendly, hardworking individuals. They will tell you what needs repaired immediately, what can wait, will show you pictures of issues, and will give you all costs before they attempt to fix it. They will try and find you less expensive ways or longer lasting repairs based on what you prefer. They work fast, check in with you after a few days to make sure everything is running smoothly, leave you thank you gifts in the car after your visit, AND send you a postcard to thank you for your business. I even got a token for a free carwash from them. One time my battery died, and they charged it up for free and sent me off with a smile. Seriously, these are good people with good hearts. Go out of your way to get your vehicle serviced here, you wont regret it.

I ended up here by accident (was looking for a different repair place) wanting to have my battery cleaned up which normally costs me $20. These guys were amazing! They cleaned my battery for free, helped me figure out which indicator bulb was blown, and offered advice on a couple issues in the car. Definitely will be coming back here.

Great mechanics and super friendly staff! I went in to get the thermostat and coolant replaced in my s10. They gave me a ride into downtown Bryan and had the work done after just a couple of hours. They were happy to answer any questions and didnt try to add any unnecessary work. Really couldnt ask for better treatment or service.

Ive been going to B&B for almost 2 years now. I love the people there and trust them with my car.They have great customer service and check in to make sure everything is working well. I do think they are a bit more expensive than other mechanics but again, I trust in the work they do.

I recently came into B&B with a complicated brake system problem. As they diagnosed the problem and worked on the car, they started on the least expensive solutions first, which was a big relief for me. Ultimately, they had to make the more costly repair but I was confident this was what needed to be done. And when I left on a long distance trip two days after the repair, they even followed up with a text message to see that everything was running smoothly. Ive never experienced service like this before - they really are exceptional people!

I was stranded out here. Im from Dallas, they were kind, honest, and very detailed! I appreciate when mechanics explain the possible issues before an inspection and then update me on the actual trouble the vehicle is having afterwards. Hopefully, I wont have to return. My car is running like a Champ again and I would definitely recommend B&B Automotive.

Got a coupon for a wheel alignment for $75 from discount tire, and they got me in right away. I’ve been having trouble with my wheel shaking, and they found the problem, and fixed my breaks for a great price! It was quick, and the customer service was awesome.

Fixed my blinker and did my oil change for cheaper than everyone else would do just my oil change. Did it fast and very kind and helpful. Definitely going back in the future.

They will overcharge you.I was given an estimate for an ac compressor replacement. It seemed high. It was. I got the same repair done plus my leaky water pump replace for the same price at the Ford dealer.

The staff was super helpful. Didnt have to wait too long for an oil change and they let me know all the visible issues with car. I highly recommend this place for your automotive needs!
