Stratta gets it done! They are fair and honest. They’ve worked on two of our cars and helped us save money. They are our go-to for car repairs.
Years of experienced automotive repair combined with excellent customer service. Great name too.
Took forever to fix my clutch. After two weeks it failed again but was covered by the warranty. Not the friendliest people.
This was the fastest service I ever received for walk-in at the best price. I was treated first class and this is the best shop I have been to. I will recommend everyone in this area.
Great service at a value. I definitely will be going back.
Brought my 94 chevy pick up to get wheel cylinder replaced. Turned it in about 8a.m, had a call about 11am it was completed. Quality work and very prompt. Didnt try to sell me a complete brake job like some others in town. Just what I wanted. I will be back if need be. Excellent work.
The owner is honest and his staff is very polite. Great service.
Know what they are doing.
I walked in and they had my car fixed within an hour! Such great service, I would highly recommend
After calling to verify that they work on BMW, I dropped off my 3 series that was overheating. They called me later that day, confidently stating it was the radiator fan, and itd be ready the next day. Roughly $750. Went to pick up the car, paid my tab, and drove off. Car overheated literally 5 minutes down the road. Took the car back. They said, “we let it idle for 20 minutes”. You mean they didn’t test drive the dang car after fixing an overheating problem?! I live 2 hours away! So at this point other shops are closed and I gotta get home for work, so I ask them to find the problem and fix it. They call the next day and say it’s the electric water pump. They even called bmw to ask their opinion. Lol. Skeptical, I approved the $650 repair. Fortunately, $1300 later, the new water pump fixed the problem. But it gets even better... I get home to find radiator fluid all over my driveway the next morning. One of the hoses right next to the water pump, was damaged and leaking. Was this an oversight? Or just didn’t want to tell me I need to pay more? Purposely ignored? Idk.I suggest to all, as polite and professional as Phil and his crew are, do NOT take a bmw to them. And make sure you ask if they actually test drove your car before paying for a repair. That alone was simply absurd.Hope that out-of-towner/ Christmas tax helped your holiday, it sure messed up mine.
Went here to have my clutch replaced on my 2009 ford ranger, ford was going to charge me $2300 to fix. They fixed it for less then half that cost. These guys are so trustworthy and hardworking men. They treated me more like a old friend then just another face. Hands down will only bring it to this place from now on.
Great service and amazing prices. My company takes our fleet vehicles to them only. They are very helpful and detailed when describing an issue. I highly recommend for both fleet and personal vehicles.
I highly recommend.
Took my 1996 Chevy Silverado here and they took very good care of it. Was a little slow on keeping me updated but overall experience was great and the truck was fixed fairly quick. Thank you guys for all the work and keep it up
Great service & price! The condenser went out on my Chevy Tahoe and I was quoted a price from the dealership. When I called Stratta and told them the issue/cost they assured me they would be able to save me money. I took my vehicle in the next day and as promised it was $150 less than the dealership! Highly recommend using this company!!
Good people that do good work at a good price. The only down side is they arent the fastest. Thats alright though because at least they are honest, reasonable, and know why theyre doing.
The owner is not overly friendly, but he is honest and professional. My daughter and I needed work on her Tundra truck. When I called about repairs, he gave me exact amounts of parts and labor was very reasonable. As a female, I didn’t feel put down or being taken for a ride. Honest good place to take your vehicles.
Fast service
Trustworthy, prompt and honest. Won’t try to overcharge for parts, etc. and were respectful. Great place where they work hard!
This is a great mechanic shop
They are very efficient and friendly
Be careful! I took my 07 Mitsubishi Eclipe because the windshield water nozzles needed to be replaced. They also took a quick look to my car (hoses and belts) because I need to do a long drive and wanted to make sure that everything was in good condition. The nozzles in Auto Zone or a similar store are $25/pair. However I got charged $168 for this work. If I would have known that they were so abusive at charging for this minor repairs I wouldnt even bother to consider this place.
Good friendly service,, and honest prices..Trust them with all my car needs..
Fair, honest people! I didnt want to pay $1200+ for my leaky radiator to be replaced, so I asked mr. Stratta if I could bring him the parts and have them install them for me. He said no problem, lets do it! Saved me some $600, and the installation was perfect.
I have taken my wife’s 2010 VW Tiguan to Stratta Auto Repair a few times now. If you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic, then look no further than Stratta. They are really friendly and take care of you like family. Their estimates are half the price of the VW dealership and they take the time to walk you through and show you exactly what is wrong with your vehicle. They even have a payment option if you need it. Their mechanical knowledge and compassion for customers makes this mechanic shop a must. Truly happy to know that there are still honest mechanics that care about their customers more than money.
This review has been a long time coming. The first time I came to Stratta was for the replacement of the water pump on my Lexus LS430. They not only did a fantastic and timely job, but they cut several hundred dollars off the cost that I was quoted at another repair shop. Their labor rates and book repair times are very fair. After this good experience, I talked my roommate into taking his Jeep there for a water pump replacement and his girlfriends Mazda to replace the radiator. The water pump replacement went off without a hitch (and hes still happy about the price he got the job done for). The radiator ended up not being the only problem with the Mazda, but the guys at the shop were very quick to inform me of the other problem (blown head gasket) and it was very clear that they werent just trying to wring us out for more money.tl;dr: Take your car here. Act courteous and youll be treated courteously. Fair prices, honest mechanics.
Competitive pricing. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Pretty honest for mechanics
My daughters 2003 jeep engine light appeared. Yikes. Not knowing a good mechanic in a new town is scary. FB Aggie Mom & Dad and another student (with a jeep) from the CS area recommended Stratta. Stratta diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed in less than 24 hours at a cost of $90. Yeahh! Hope my daughters jeep doesnt have anymore problems...but if does shell go back to Stratta.Happy Mom & Dad in Houston
Honest and great guys that truly help when you need it the most, and great prices.
These guys have worked on cars I have owned in the past & I just had my new Jeep serviced there today...... an AWESOME job was done again as always!!!!!!!........their prices are very fair & the guys there are friendly & courteous.....they dont try to talk you into services that you dont need......being female, this is a breath of fresh air!!!!!!!!!.........Thank you Stratta!!!!!!!!!!!!........Laurie Arden
Wanted to charge me $400 for a Y-Pipe installation (cut original pipe and weld Y-Pipe in place) in my current exhaust system and the wiring of an electric cut off. Went to a shop near Houston in Pearland that charged me $70 for the entire job. WAY overpriced for the little amount of work they were asked to do. If I could put no stars I would.
Good and honest mechanic.
Great job guys!
