I purchased a full set off tires from this location. Recently when bringing my car in for service under my warranty Shawn and his staff were there. My husband was with me after recently being discharged from the hospital. He was NOT himself. I tried to apologize for my husband but Shawn was very compassionate and caring and no apology was needed. Good service,, empathy and truly stellar customer I will always choose Shawn and his staff no question.

Shawn was awesome! I live in Mankato and was running late getting there and he basically said no worries see ya when you get here. By the time I got there everyone else was gone and Im sure he wanted to get home as well but he was so kind and patient, even offered me a water. The new oil filter looks like its been on there for a month already. There was oil left on the front of my car and doors. Everything,I touched had fresh oil on it. Im sticking to valvoline.

SCAMMERS. They tried to scam my elderly father in paying over $500 to replace the passenger side mirror. The part costs $40 and I fixed it in 15 minutes. I hope they go bankrupt soon.SCAMMERS!!!!!!!

Went for new set of back tires they didnt have the socket to take them off. So they order it which was great at the time. Now a month later my driver side back tire is about to fall off due to not properly being tightened, 2 studs fell off of my truck and cause of the wobbling it ate away at the rim. If they dont know how to get the job done properly they need to not take the job

I bought tires from them at the Brooklyn Center branch. I was told it would take about an hour to install them. It took over 2 hours to install 4 tires. I had an appointment and they took 4 walk in in front of me. The first 30 min of my appointment, my truck was still in the parking lot. It took them an hour before my truck was on the lift. They didnt look like they were in any hurry to get my tires on. Which made me late for work. I would now recommend them or go back there for any service.

I wont go anywhere else but Big O Tires in Brooklyn Center for my vehicle. The staff at Big O (I still call you NTB) is professional, knowledgeable, kind and helpful in every situation! The front staff is awesome. However, I was sold a tire in a pinch that was put on the front of my car. My mechanic said I should of got 2 tires minimum. And forsure the oddball tire should of been put on the back.

Extremely low prices and great service even though they’re are understaffed and their equipment often malfunctions. The front staff isn’t as educated as they should be but at least they are honest. I wish they knew how to flush my transmission but sucks it takes an hour for a for something as simple as $20 semi synthetic oil change, tire rotation, alignment check and vehicle inspection.

I received an email with a coupon for free flat repair. I made an appointment for 5pm at the location listed on the email (5501 Xerxes Ave N. Brooklyn Center, MN). Upon arrival I was immediately dissatisfied with the lack of customer service and rudeness from the clerk. She didnt acknowledge me until minutes later, when she said hi. Kisha gained my information, and after returning from my car, she advised the total would be $21.99 for the repair, I asked if the coupon was valid at this location and she stated nope, yes a dry nope. I am disappointed and confused as to why I am receiving emails for coupons that arent being honored in store. I called Big O Tires consumer services and submitted a ticket, but we all know that leads to nothing. When my tire was done being repaired Kisha said, hey lady you can pay now. Im so frustrated with her lack of customer service and professionalism. It literally ruined my evening as Im very soft spoken and kind to others, I felt terrible leaving the store today. No one even told me if my tire had a leak or what was even wrong with it, just took my keys and money and handed them back to me. I went to that location specifically to use the coupon, I will never return.

Very happy with the 4 new tires I purchased from these guys. Alignment is also spot on! They even got me in and out on the 4th of July.

This place stripped out my moms oil pan. When I wanted to bring the vehicle elsewhere to get it fixed, they said they couldnt find a temp plug that would fit. (Wow) She was forced into getting the work done there or pay to get it towed because they WOULDNT LET HER TAKE HER VEHICLE! She was also advised at her last oil change that she had leaky struts. I took it to another place and there was no such problem :( Very disappointing to see a single elderly women be bamboozled out of money and time. The last blow was that she was talked into a 300.00 alignment package when she purchased tires on a separate occasion. When she asked for the print out of the alignment, they said they couldnt offer her one as they were out of ink!!! Bamboozled again! This place IS NOT a reputable business! Sad just very sad!

Employees there have no urgency or helping anyone. They take their sweet time typing clients name in the system, keep going into the back area for 10 to 15 mins then come back again while helping 1 person. Then takes 10 mins to check a person out. Like, what the hell? Then hires people with sagging pants walking around. So ghetto. Way worse then MTB. Should not even be open. Ridiculous.

Came for a oil change on my 08 Tahoe just to notice over the next couple days random oil spots leaking from my oil filter all in my apartment parking lot so I take it back and told them I don’t tbjnm they tighten my filter all the way (I was right) so today I come outside to notice the leakage so I go under my truck myself this time and seems to me they didn’t even put on a new oil filter I have video proof and it’s pissing me off because I work full time and wen I’m off I have my daughter full time so I don’t have anytime for F ups and goin without my vehicle like y’all need to get it together there man Lisa was very helpful and assisting me but damn this finna be my 3rd time goin there giving them a piece of my mind juss do the damn job right the first time ima need my money back and a free oil change and ima take my business elsewhere

Wanted to get my car looked at, called and made a appointment Ahead of time( 2days Prior ) . Waited 30 mins in line( 1 other person) for them to tell me they are full. I told them I already had booked an appointment And they just said “oh sorry, you gon have to make a new one we won’t have time today”

Brooklyn center team is one of the best... They honest and never try to pull a scam like some of the comments when it was NTB till now... the people who put on bad reviews are the haters that always trying to get something for free or discounted... don’t hesitate to go there cause they team there u can trust but the day they ain’t there and y’all don’t see Dale in the front or the Asians brothers/jermey in the back then maybe you can decide for yourself to go else where cause I’m only speaking for the teams that’s there right now but as long as the teams there they’ll take great care of your car... now if y’all trying to go to Brooklyn Park or Crystal don’t waste your time cause most likely if they try to fix or they mess up on your car or all of a sudden there mechanics don’t show up or walk out on the company which it happens a lot you’ll be really disappointed so save the time and go to Brooklyn center location where u have 2 of the best mechanics there Jermey and Kevin!!!

I dont like to give negative reviews and try everything possible to not have to give one. Ive given this place more than enough times to make it right but it doesnt seem like thats going to happen.I first came to the shop in February looking to get my brakes done. They told me that my front brakes needed to be done but my back brakes were fine. They had me in and out very quickly so I was pleased with that and left them a good review. The brakes continued to squeak so I gave them a call and they explained that the squeaking can continue for a bit and to bring it back if it doesnt go away. I gave it about a month and the squeaking continued to get worse. I returned to the shop and they checked it out right away. They told me I actually needed my rear brakes done, which I was a little annoyed with because I was willing to have them done all at the same time but they told me my back brakes were fine. The women working informed me that maybe it had something to do with my driving. I explained to her Ive never had brakes be fine and then need to be done within a month. After I left I got an email asking to do a survey on my visit so I did and expressed that I wasnt as happy with my visit and explained what happened. The manager called a couple days later and he apologized and asked me to come back for the rears and he would make it right. I considered going back because I appreciated the call. I ultimately decided to go somewhere else. I ended up getting my rears done at a different shop, but as soon as I left the squeaking was still there. Took it back to the new shop and they took a look at my front brakes. They said they were poorly put together so they cleaned and reworked them costing an additional $129. The squeaking was STILL there so I brought it back to the new shop and they did a ride along with me and said it is the front brake pads. Either they didnt replace them or they used cheap ones on and advised I go back to Big O Tires so I did. I explained everything to them. They took a look at it and said that there is a glaze on the brake pads and that they will take care of it free of charge but again had the nerve to say it could have something to do with my driving. By the time I got home it was squeaking ONCE again. I became so frustrated at this point so I brought it back to the second shop and told them do what you have to do and charge what you have to charge. I have spent so much money and was beyond frustrated at the failed attempts at Big O Tires. I was beginning to think something was permanently wrong with my vehicle so I wasnt going to change my review until I was 100% sure it could be fixed. Fast forward to now. The second shop has fixed it. I have no squeaking and even the braking feels better. Much like it should have felt when I left from Big O Tires. I emailed them all of this hoping that they would get back to me to make things right. Its been a week tomorrow and I havent heard anything back. I hope this place takes better action into keeping people safe on the road and giving customers what they paid for.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. My overall experience was horrible for a few reasons- being overly priced and not knowing what they are doing.I brought my vehicle in for a standard oil change and alignment. I don’t own a super nice car nor do I own a rare vehicle-we’re talking about a Chevy Impala. Since I was at the auto shop I asked about having them replace my wiper arms and blades.The wiper arms went bad during the last snow fall and I had been pushing off getting new wiper blades. They tried to charge me $200 for one arm. Keeping in mind replacing the arms only takes 5-10 minutes to do. I later found out that they were ordering the part from Orielly’s which is where I picked both arms up for $60 and had a friend put them for few bucks.Now going back my having my car alignment and oil change done. I get my car back, turn it on, and start to drive away. I make it 10 feet and my car is is just beeping like crazy. I see it says low tire pressure. I’m a person who carries a tire pressure gage in glovebox. So I go and check my tires. My back right tire is putting out 20 PSI. I turn my car around and go to step out. As I step out I almost slip my shoe almost slip. I feel the bottom of my shoe and it’s oil!At this point I’m thinking do they even work on my car. Tire saying it’s low oil leaking out rapidly. So I go back inside and tell the woman that my back tire is low and requested nicely for it to be filled. Her response to me was “well they should of filled it when they rotated your tires.” I had to explain a second time that it was low. So a nice younger guy comes out and has me pull my car around. He checks the tires and confirms the back tire was at 20PSI so he filled it for me.I then look under my car and still see oil leaking out. By now there must have been at least half quart of oil gone. So I bring this up to him. He tells me that he was not the one working on my car so he would need to check. So my car goes back into the shop. After 10-15 minutes goes by and the same lady from earlier walks out and tells me they put the wrong oil filter on!!! What baffled me is how casually she said it. My car could of started on fire! The only reason I realized this in the first place is because my low tire pressure. Seriously though, how do you put the wrong oil filter on..... I could understand if my car wasn’t one that wasn’t so popular.

Went in to get 2 Hankook tires, but I ended up getting 2 Nitto tires; I was told that they ...dont usually stock Hankook tires, it would be something we would have to order.... Okay, so I got up sold there, but after picking-up my kids from school and grabbing a few groceries, my ABS light pops on and stayed on. I called Big O Tires to notify them of the situation, and the lady on the phone said to bring the car in so we can take a look at it; they were closing at 5:00 pm and it was already 4:29 pm, so the lady said to bring my car in first thing in the morning.I get there this morning, and the guy who sold me the Nitto tires types up a diagnostic check invoice for over $60 to assess the issue. WTH??!!! THERE WASNT AN ISSUE UNTIL THEY TOUCHED MY CAR. So, I told the guy that I just came from my mechanic on Thursday, April 11th (Im literally standing there with receipts, I keep a folder with the receipts for everything I have done on the car) and that the only problem my car has is the shocks (which he did point out to me when they were doing my new tires). He then tells me that the ABS system has nothing to do with the tires. DUH, I know this, but it does have something to do with them purposefully breaking things on peoples cars to keep you coming back.I only came to them for my tires because a family member had gone to them recently and told me that the big guy wasnt there anymore; my mechanic does everything except for tires (father & son operation that has been in business in the same location for well over 30 years).Heres the back story: Back in February 2016, when Big O Tires was known as NTB, the Big Guy that was the shop manager at the time wrote up an estimate for having my 4X4 drive system maintenanced. That guy said that there is a front and rear differential pan for each tire that has to be drained and filled costing nearly $90 each. Then he said that there is a front and rear transfer case that has to be drained and refilled costing nearly another $90. And then, he recommended that I get a new battery stating that my battery charge was toward the lower end (this is a battery that I had just purchased September 19th, 2015, and still driving with it with no issues).THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS ...NEW COMPANY NAME, SAME SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES...take your business anywhere else, these people wont be touching any of my cars EVER again.UPDATE: I just filed a complaint with the BBB.

I had a coupon from the local paper and it was for a winter package which included Dismount mount alignment and balance for 3995 when it came time to get the alignment they said I had to buy a warranty for $90 I will never go back to your company again for that

They gave me quick service of two flat tires, however I was given a large estimate on needing tirods of almost $800. While I was waiting they told another customer they also needed them replaced. I didnt get them done due to my time crunch and later took it to my long time garage and was told no in fact I absolutely did not need tirods. That left a bitter taste in my mouth. Personally i wouldnt go back.

Took my car there for an oil change and and the tech opened the filter and didnt close it. And the wire next to it was not plugged back in either. My car started to make a weird noise and thats when I had it checked out. I will never come back here again and will tell everyone I know that your techs are incompetent and are crooks.
