Nice little desi shop for convenient and fast groceries. Food is a little oily and could be more spicy but that is subjective. Overall great place and hard working people
The best beef shawarma indeed. The chicken is meh.
Incredible food. Priced fairly for its quality! Awesome inspiration too! Makes me want to cook meals I would not have thought up on my own!
Very good customer service! Very friendly and was able to find everything on my list. They have the juice station open tried fresh carrots and orange juice excellent!
Worst tasting food. Food tastes like it was 3 to 4 days old and smells bad. If you are south indian and looking for andhra or telangana style biryani or curry please do not go you will be really disappointed. Food is very expensive too. They charge 17 dollars for curry with just 3 pieces of chicken in it and it was smelly.
I waited almost an hour for my food. The guy did give me an extra Naan for my wait but the food was not worth the wait. I did enjoy the Naan and the mango Lassi is larger than other places I have tried. Food was decent. Have had better.
They are big rip offs. I bought bread from them. The bread was good and weight much more. I went again after a week the same bread was less than half of the weight of the previous bread I had bought. I mean tandoori roti. Theirfood is sub standard and they use Packet Masala in their recipes. Their prices on their menu don’t coincide with the prices they really charge. Going to them is a bad experience. I will not advise anyone, even to they them. They are big rip offs. Thanks
Super legit. had the butter chicken and a bbq chicken dish with rice and garlic naan. I ate the whole thing! Ill be going back.
I got the Zaika mix grill platter with garlic naan and it was fantastic. All of the food is prepared, marinated, and cooked on site so everything was extremely fresh and tasted great. The seasoning was excellent and all of the items in my mix grill platter had great flavor. Nothing over-the-top spicy that I couldnt handle it and even my mother, who doesnt like spicy food, still enjoyed some of the platter items. The food smelled incredible and I had to fight the urge to get some of that garlic naan out while driving home.I will definitely be returning here to try some curries!
I love how they carry Crescent chicken for their restaurant and meat department...very high quality!
We just discovered this gem. Amazing food. We had the Chicken Combo and Lamb Combo and loved them both. We will definitely be back to try more items on their menu.
When I went go get a Meat they told it’s all fresh meat and later they gave me old goat meat which tasted really bad and smells bad.
I went yesterday the owner told me we have very nice food no one can make good food like us I ordered 2 dishes then he forced me to order one more dish finally when food ready its taste not good when I complained they said you should tell earlier both quality and quantity not good they didnt give us water to drink they said buy water and soda we dont give water with food finally the lady told me hurry up finish and pay we are closing she told me very rudelyThe price also very highCustomer service very poorWashroom very dirty no tissue paperNo waiter we did everything by selfSuch a selfish store management I never saw
If you want zabiha halal delicious food ...Zaika is one the place for you ما شاء الله
Food was excellent, good portions, a little spicy but thats fine. We had a lamb curry and it was fantastic. We will definitely come back to try other items and may shop at the grocery store
Their food is always fresh and so delicious! My husband and I have tried a little bit of everything on their menu over the past few months and continue to be amazed at how consistent and perfect the taste is. Our favorites are the bbq items and their fresh naans and puris. They really put effort in their food, and you can definitely taste the difference. The shop owners are really kind and we appreciate giving them business! This is officially one of our favorite food spots. 😁👍🏻
Good food actually...enjoyed the curries and tandoori recipies more than the biriyani !!
My family has been purchasing meats and groceries from here for months, and have yet to have a negative experience. They have the best quality lamb I have found in the Milwaukee area, and the owners are incredibly helpful and gracious. Prices are very reasonable, and the restaurant food is so delicious and authentic. Big thank you from us to the owners/operators of Zaika Mart!
Stopped in for food today. The chicken shawarma was excellent as advertised. Will definitely stop by again.
If you are indian, especially south indian, very especially telugu, this is not the place for you to eat biryani.
Great butcher with amazing fresh grilled and tandoori snacks.
In my opinion they sell best goat meat in Milwaukee area.
Well maintained grocery store. Paratha rolls lack spices
Very friendly and very quick with my lunch order! Picked up some snacks while I waited. I will definitely be coming back.
Best halal meat around Milwaukee especially on Friday’s. Also their take away food quality is so good. Definitely try this if you like Desi food.
Freindly staff. clean store. have no idea how is their mutton like. still have to cook.
Friendly staff, Fair prices and delicious food. Looking for a halal BBQ place, this is the best so far in Milwaukee. They also have biryani and other south east asian dishes. I loved thier clean and organized store. They have also traditional food items e.g ready to cook Hakeem etc. They also have varieties of naan, paratha, samosa and halwa, sweets too. Great place.
We came upon this place by accident and are we glad! The food is amazing, theyre quick and the people are so nice. They need to advertise and have better signage so everyone knows they sell hot food and its not just a grocery store. Spread the word, its delicious.
The food is incredible. That was the most tender and delicious beef weve ever had. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. We cant wait to come back and try more!
Cool place with several international items. Ordered a Lamb dish from the fast food area. Delicious. Look forward to visiting again
Friendly staff. Like their Sundays special.
Went there thrice: once for their food and twice for halal meat. Nothing is good here. The biriyani was below average and did not taste good, didnt have enough meat either.Bought beef with bone. They just mix bones and boneless meat together. In every other halal places they just cut a section of the animal into pieces, but not here. And the meat tasted very bad. There was a weird smell of medicine. Also bought 30 pieces of wings the day after labor day. They said the frozen ones would be better so I bought them. The moment I opened the packet, it smelled like freezer burn. I had to throw the entire batch because it was that smelly. Never going to zaika ever again. And its not cheap.
Very friendly and helpful
The food was very good and the staff was very friendly! I will be ordering again soon.
Food was excellent, service was great.
Great food and good service. Tad bit pricey for takeout but the flavor makes up for the price.
Good selection of indian and Pakistani grocery items, spices etc. They have a small in house restaurant as well, though sitting area is very limited, so taking out is the viable option. I must say the food is tastes great and prepared with fresh ingredients. Certainly visit again
Drawn to check out the best schwarma in town according to the sign. On entering, I would expect to see schwarma - a spit of thinly sliced meat. I did not see that. They did however have a tandoor. We ordered beef wrap and expected there would be fresh naan, but I did not specify and it was made with paratha - not a bad choice either. The beef was made on skewers in the tandoor oven, and the mix of spice and veggies in the final wrap was very good. The beef was a bit over cooked so the sauce and veggies were more the star of the show. It was good but Im not sure I would order the same dish again. I would however eat here again. The prices were a bit high, more along the lines of a sit down restaurant and not a deli counter. The deli counter is just a small portion of this place. There is an Indian grocery with a large (huge) selection of products. While some items were higher at convinience store prices, others like on bulk spices were extremely reasonable. They also had an excellent selection of items and well stocked. I did question some of the freshness of items, especially in the fresh cases - if they are moving enough items at those prices to maintain stock, but we are currently in the Covid pandemic, and business models have changed. However, I personally would check perishables for shelf dates just to be sure.Owners were present in the store and provided greetings and smiles, but did not overly engage, which is fine. While we were there a small handful of other customers entered the store and explored as well. If you are looking for Indian food, prepared or groceries, it is worth checking this store out.
Amazing food and great prices
Very friendly and approachable, we showed up on a slow day and they showed us how they make naan bread. They are happy to explain any of their products. The food is incredible and you should definitely consider replacing your usual take-out dinner with some freshly made kebabs!
Great chicken wraps and bbq at service counter. Friendly and helpful service. Great selection.
First time here but wont be last. Great food, great service....awesome experience overall. Good selection of groceries too!
I ordered a beef wrap yesterday for lunch it was so good I ordered another one today but today I got one with Lamb. Was also very good Monday I think I will try a chicken wrap for lunch.Fast Hot and fresh very tasty.
Very good quality of food
Have yet to grocery shop here, but their food at the grill is amazing! A definite diamond in the rough for anyone that doesnt know of this place.
Nice customer service and good meat and chicken.
Good food, hidden gem. Check them out. Everything was delicious and was made in front of me. Lamb biryani was delicious. Butter Chicken Tiki Marsala was spicy and full of flavor. Lamb kabobs were very good. Garlic naan bread was also good. Very nice staff.
Excellent food, nice people!
Food quality was some satisfied but the staff behavior was super disgusting. I wish there was dislike stars on Google 😒
I visited this place when i went to Wisconsin from Chicago. I drop a ride in Wisconsin and put halal restaurant near me . I got this name. Food was nice expect staff behavior was not satisfiying.
Good service
Hidden gem: One of the best grilled food in Brookfield.
Went here for the first time today and this is a hidden gem of Brookfield. Meat is made right in front of you and the workers/owners are extremely nice. We got their cheese Naan and it is delicious. Definitely going back there!
Such amazing food! Samosas were beyond delicious. We had the chicken tikka masala....major yummmmm! Cannot wait to go back :)
Friendly, well lit, clean, and most importantly...fantastic food at a good price!!! Ill be back, I live and work closely and so happy to see some food diversity!!
Excellent and delicious food, I like the mood the place has, and the staff members were helpful. Will surely visit here next time.
Good food. They can make it spicy if you request.
Cooking is exelant. Farooq bhai is great person. He cook everything very nice
Excellent Pakistani (North Indian) food .. Halal meat available.
THE SIMPLE CHICKEN WRAP IS ANYTHING BUT SIMPLE... IT IS A HIGHLY COMPLEX MIX OF FLAVORS AND AN ABSOLUTE KNOCK-OUT !!! Just be patient with the check out ;-)
Worst customer service especially the lady is so illiterate and bad mannered. the meat price is sky rocketing high and have the lowest quay of meat other options are way to go better shopping at other places .
Its a great addition in the neighborhood. Fresh halal and very neat meat. Also fresh halal cooked food. Everything is delicious, star dishes are halwa puri, paya and bbq.Staff is very friendly.
I loved everything I had here, then picked up groceries to make at home.
We live in the area and happened to notice this market as we drove past. We were interested since they advertised halal on the front sign, which we interpret as a measure of quality/cleanliness in food handling. We enjoy exploring ethnic food markets, always find something interesting to try at home.Market features middle eastern packaged and refrigerated food items, a take out food area (Pakistani/Indian specialties,) and a halal butcher shop. Halal is similar to Kosher, where certain sanitary and ritual practices are used to handle meats. Noticed from the sign in the butcher shop that all/most parts are available for purchase. Prices are moderate for a custom butcher shop.We picked up a few items from the dry goods shelves and ordered the daily special biranyi. The lamb biranyi was the best I have had. The dish was spiced well with complex flavors and a fair amount of heat. The rice mixture (often dry in biranyis,) was still moist and the lamb was tender and plentiful. There were some small lamb bones which were easily removed, but keep the meat moist if not removed before eating. Enjoyed this dish a lot and will return.
Chapli kabab and Tamdoor chicken is one of the best!
Authentic Indo-Pak taste. Curries and Kebabs are definitely worth trying. Meat is fresh too.
Delicious food at great prices, and a great collection of imported groceries. Also homemade treats available.
Food is okay and a little expensive. Meat section is good.
The store seems clean and is well stocked in most areas which is nice. I ordered shawarma from their cafe since they claimed to have great shawarma. I guess that’s sort of like ordering sushi from an Italian place so I wasn’t surprised when I was disappointed. If you want Shawarma go to Shawarma House. Next time I’ll stick with the biryani and hope for better food. Mango Lassi wasn’t available for me. I asked if that was normal and the guy said “just today” and didn’t offer any further explanation. Maybe he didn’t want to make it? No way of knowing. Vegetable selection is pathetic. You’d be better off going to Taj Grocery for veggies. The instant Quik Tea brand masala chai only came as small boxes with maybe two packets in them. I suppose if I wanted to gift them to folks or If I’d never tried it that would be helpful. I imagine most Desi folks make this from scratch so perhaps it’s not in demand? I’m not Desi so instant masala chai is the best I can hope for. Otherwise I plan to come back and see what these folks are good at vs everyone else and comparison shop with the Raja Bazaar down the street.
Wonderful food and a nice little grocery store.
Hi,This place is awesome if you are looking for a meat,
Great selection.
Great food, amazingly friendly people and prompt service.
I went to buy halal whole chicken here and they its so expensive.... I dont know what is making them to sell it for 3.29 lb ..... I would rather go to downtown and buy it for 1.89 lb
Excellent taste and decent quantity for meal.
