I had a varied list including hoodies, a rake, bath sheets and washcloths. I found it all and then some, to the tune of about $100. I got a deal on good real maple syrup, Belgian chocolate, a gorgeous shower curtain, and I have my eye on some rugs for this winter.They have so much Stuff! Some with designer labels at discount prices. And its just a lot of fun wandering the aisles to see what treasures you can find.

I love Ocean State Job Lot as a whole but this one should be considered as something completely different...in a good way mind you. :-) The prices are good, the location is perfect, the people who work there are always friendly and knowledgeable, etc, etc. :-) I absolutely love this Ocean State Job Lot. :-) Anytime I am in Bristol I stop by to see what kind of treasures I can find...I highly recommend that you do it too. :-) Keep up the good work guys...you know I will be back sooner than later. :-)

Rating the company as every store varies. Ever changing stock of random stuff but a great place to ck for deals, discontinued & current items. Its an odd but fun mix & a local chain I frequent at a # of locations. I LOVE OCEAN STATE!

Theres some prices that are good, and others are marked up. This place is in the same mall as a Five Below, and some things that are in five below are here for double the price. They do have really good quality rugs that are made from Turkey.

I didnt even know what this store was about before I went inside... I mean, having just moved here from the West Coast, I dont even know which one is the Ocean State and a Job Lot sounds more like a temporary employment office than a discount store.... BUT ANYWAY, there is a huge variety of stuff for amazing prices--like a Dollar Tree or Five Below with an even higher price point for more variety of offerings, so I picked up several things for the new apartment that we didnt know we needed until we got to Connecticut. Employees were friendly and customers getting the shopping done at a decent discount.

All the staff at the Bristol Ocean State Job Lot are courteous and helpful. I enjoy shopping there. The seasonal displays are always well stocked. Prices very reasonable.

Needs to organize and structure merchandise and more cashier available. Nice to have salesperson in various departments (ex linen,house ware).

Like any Job Lot, always a treasure hunt, and a bit messy. However, you know you arent overpaying for anything in the store. Youll definitely find some things you didnt know you wanted til you see them!

It;& was better thn usual. Cleaner and more organized There was one employee that was very nice abd up beat, which you cant find ANYWHERE ANYMOREAll you come across are customer service people with no business serving customers..socializing is one of thier weak points. And its sad they get away with it too.

As one of the last discount retailers in Bristol, OSJL serves its purpose. Its definitely a crowded maze of aisles, racks, and blockades in an obviously repurposed and barely renovated TJ Maxx location. The store design forces you to take a specific pattern, especially at first, which is frustrating if you need to run in and out fast. Theres a fascinating inventory of goods from food and hba goods to small electronics to pet supplies to swimming pools and maintenance to toys to clothes and shoes and then there are the home and garden goods, which vary based on whats in stock (I have seen everything from dining room tables to patio sets to electric fireplaces to greenhouses and more). Everything varies there- which is a great thing because there is the thrill of finding an awesome deal, but also isnt because you have NO clue if you can go back a month later (or even a wk later) to rebuy something or buy something you saw while shopping but didnt yet buy. The staff isnt particularly helpful, but with everything changing so often, its probably hard to be. They do a good job with hiring diversity as they hire disabled and elderly workers, as I see more disabled and elderly workers represented there than most places.

Employees are usually very friendly! The store also has a decent set up and has everything one would need on a daily basis. This is a great place to go for the Bobs Red Mill products at a reasonable price.

My favorite location. You can find a lot of unique items here. Prices are excellent. The new crazy deal promos are something to look for every time you shop. Well worth it. Large selection.

The store was clean and the employees were very helpful and friendly. They had a great variety of items to choose from, at great prices.

This year because of the covid-19 and the snow, they are were out of all Christmas lights and snow tubes. This is very unusual.

Not a great experience, overcrowded, very long line, not enough cashiers, slow moving.

I mean, its job lot, prepare to buy twice as much as you were planning on.

Always something new, even many name brands at discount prices. Eclectic assortment of hard and soft goods and prepackaged grocery items. Always go here for nuts, gluten-free food items coffee pods.Some items are buyouts and seasonal. Flower bulbs are okay, but have caveats about pre-rooted plants and bushes.

You can always find a good bargain here.

Great values, ever-changing deals and discounts, and theres always something new to shop for.

Love this place for random stuff

A lot of cool random finds, and great sales when you catch them I just wish they had better stock of things. Like I went there too look for Easter stuff last month for my Easter egg hunt and the women who worked there was like, nope we didnt get any Easter products... Like at all for the whole season!

They had a vast selection of Summer items and hard-to-find items I was very pleased with their selection.

The store has so much variety right from seasonal items, children toys, stationery, home decor, small appliances, baking tools, hardware, food. All of this at very reasonable prices. I love checking out this store whenever I am in its vicinity.

I dont like the two percent surcharge. I do like that the employees got a two dollar raise, but thats enough.

They do not have enough employees working here. If you need help with something it is hard to find someone that can help you. They only had two registers open and both lines were long. The prices are great here but the wait in line is not so great.

3 women at register including floor manager all chatting seemed to want to finish there conversation before acknowledging our presence. Took a while we just stood there waiting while they discussed husbands and cats...

Fantastic deals. Sometimes theres only one cashier and you wait in line for 20 minutes but that rarely happens. If it does, I just leave.

In response to women complaining about rest rooms: have you ever worked retail? Do you realize minimum wage folks have to go in there and clean up after the nasty public? Maybe they should raise prices and hire a cleaning service or not have public restrooms.

Could be cleanerStore needs updating . Compared to the savers it looks more like a thrift store then the actual thrift store. Prices are comparable to walmart . Some higher . The clothes are hard to look at when theres a tjmaxx and savers in the same shopping center.

Excellent daily and weekly deals. I shop there often.

Had to use the womens restroom, was pretty gross. One toilet had a missing lock, no toilet paper and blood on the toilet. The other barely had toilet paper, and it was sitting on the tampon disposal can. The cleaning sheet showed they checked it at 11:30am. I was there after 6pm. When I left the restroom, I seen an employee, and suggested he get someone to clean the restroom. He nodded at continued what he was doing. About 5 minutes later, he was up front talking with another employee, just standing around while there was a line and only 1 cashier. Bad customer service!
