Wish the pointer brand and their wonderful quality and American craftsmanship was still available. What a loss to the American clothing industry. Must be a behind the scenes story as to why the brand and quality no longer exists. I am very fortunate to have purchased a woman’s painter overall years ago. Well-made durable and stylish workwear. The real thing. Appalachian denim survivors. The Chore Coat and Overalls are iconic, even historicly significant. They collaborate frequently with minor and major brands; you never know what they might sew from day to day, but you can guarantee it will be quality and cool. Have at least 4 pairs of duck pants. They work hard. Liked the look of one of the shirts on-line and noticed it said Imported. Couldnt believe it. Asked specifically where it was made and got a canned marketing reply that didnt answer the question. Should have known as one of the places of origin was stated as Wuxi (China). Decided to give it a try anyway. Was wrong. Doesnt feel sturdy and my experience with snaps on a paper thin shirt is that they will rip out in short order. Cant believe an LC King product is made in China and for $145! Ironically, this is after the whole Chinese April Fools joke a year ago. Disappointed.

Have 4 pairs of their duck pants. They are heavy, durable, and well made. Best pants Ive ever had in my 80+ years of life. The fact that theyre made in the USA is easily worth the price of admission.

Doing an extended road trip, we made a point of swinging by Bristol, Tennessee just to go to the LC King store. I was eager to buy some Pointer overalls that had been iconic to this part of America for a hundred years. My enthusiasm was deflated, however, to learn that the Pointer Brand (and amazingly cool logo) are now a thing of the past. No more Pointer branded garments are being manufactured. The staff wouldnt explain why, but I did scour their remaining scant stock to get a pair of white painters pants and bib overalls which they custom hemmed on the spot. I have already taken them to the task in heavy work and they are sterling! My wife was able to get the last remaining barn coat with Pointer brand in the discount rack as it was an XS. Too bad it is lost to history now. The factory is continuing the L.C. King brand which is a bit more hipster for the Nashville crowd, but is top quality, American made denim goods. It is worth a stop if you are heading through Bristol, TN.

Had ordered face masks and was proud that it was made in the US. Paid for the standard shipping and saw that it was going to take two weeks. That was totally understandable considering with the situation going on with the mail service, delays and COVID. But to my surprise-- the package came in within two days!! Somehow it was shipped by 2-day delivery though I paid for standard delivery. My husband and I kept checking the package (which said Fed-Ex Express) and our order form to make sure of this. I am very grateful for this kind gesture!! Thank you so much LC king! This is amazing for your outstanding customer service especially in this situation of the pandemic and that we needed these face masks. Thank you very much!

When I found LC King clothing I was happy to support an American made product with such a rich history. I ordered a vest and a pair of pants and couldn’t wait to get them.The box arrived and the first thing I noticed was that the box seemed very light. I thought that maybe I had only received the vest so that would make sense. I opened the box and I had received the pants and vest.5 stars for quality workmanship and crafted in a way that I should be proud to own the pants and vest that I bought. Sadly 1 star for very light and Halloween costume like material. While this is an exaggeration, in my opinion the quality of the material did not match the quality of the workmanship. Sizing also runs on the smaller side.Not the material grandpa had in his work wear.Disappointed.

Amazing customer service! I bought a pair of pants from LC King in 2017 and they were the first pair of pants to fit me perfectly! So I wore them every day for 2.5 years, and finally I decided I need a 2nd pair for Christmas. So I sent back my original pair of pants in the mail so they could do exact measurements, and then I asked them to call me so I could pay over the phone for the new pair. Instead, they simply sent me back a new pair of pants (along with my originals) for free! I was floored! Not only do they have the best product but they have the best service too!!! I am a loyal LC King customer for life now!

I have never gone to the store, but I have bought a ton of work-clothes from LC King Online. The overalls are great, the customer service is superb (shipments arrive quickly) and the designs are timeless. The hickory stripe pants that are currently out of stock are my absolute favorite. I plan on buying my work clothes from here for years to come.

I bought a black chore coat, like I believed the photos showed. Completely not black at all. And the fit was terrible. @ strikes against it. It was so tight in the shoulders and upper arms that I couldnt raise my arms. And it was too big everywhere else. What a piece of garbage. Plus now Ill have to pay to return it in addition to having paid to ship it. Completely not what is advertised. I will never do business with this company again.

My great grandmother worked here on a machine for Id say over 30 years. They make quality clothes. Every worker I met from there took pride in their work. Coveralls, bibs, jeans and jackets, all top quality. I was an odd shaped fat kid growing up, and if not for this place, I dont know where we would have found clothes to fit me. I need to go take a tour. Ive not been in there since I was 7 or 8. I remember it was very loud though.

Went there 12/30/19 drove 300 miles. I was looking for bib lowbacks. Stock was very low. But managed to get 2 pair! Very pleased.

It’s literally 232, as I am trying to enter the store a guy coming out says, “we close at 230.” After driving 3 hours to come here to purchase two pairs of pants these guys do not want to take my money. I am disgusted, I will never purchase another L.C. king product. Good Luck!!

So I go in a few minutes ago into the store. The lady was on the phone. I have been interested in buying an apron that I knew would be overpriced, but i like to buy local so I was getting it. But she stayed on the call, never acknowledged me. Several minutes go by then another gentleman walked in. She hung up and then asked, May i help you?. No smile, no warmth, a cold greeting. I am an American citizen. I am also a vetetan of the US Army. What I am not is white. Get with the times ppl. A person knows when they are treated different just because they look different. Very dissapointed.

Everything is American made, even the fabric. Workers are salaried, not production. Clothing is the BEST quality. They have a small retail store, and they give tours of the facility -- just ask. They are now making ladies skirts -- soooo cute!

I am a 5th generation of customer of L.C King. I remember 40 us years ago my grandfather wearing pointer brand bib overalls and barn coats. For Christmas that is what he always asked for . My father and brothers also carried the tradition. I have jeans and coats that I have worn for years and they still look as good as new. I have a jacket I bought for my son he wore faithfully for 5 years untill he out grew it. Now he has a new one, and I have worn it an additional 2 years now and still its great shape I can not say that for no other denim clothes mfg. Company that I have worn nor my family. They do cost a little more. But they are worth ever dime. The store in Bristol TN has the kindest people working there. Dellilah is great.

These guys have unparalleled customer service.After 5 years of constant wear, I decided it was finally time to buy a new chore jacket. When I went to order online they were out of stock on my size.They responded almost immediately to my email, found my size in the physical store, and had it in the mail for me within 24 hours-- they even let me apply a coupon which I forgot to enter.Cant say enough about the quality of their clothing and the quality of their customer service.

Quit manufacturing pointer brand Jeans. Very disappointed in the legacy being gone.
