I had been to other dealerships in Abingdon and many of the people were rude. I stopped in to Crabtree in Bristol to get some keys made for my current car and ended up buying a used car. Looking to buy a truck for 14k from these guys. While looking at the truck noticed it had an active oil leak and the exhaust was completely rusted out. Pointed this out to the salesman he said it was no big deal i could fix it easy was then told i had to have a co signer. Funny went to dodge and got a jeep for 18k no co signer needed.

I bought my truck from Crabtree in 2015 they are the only ones that do the work on my truck also. I bought my first truck back in 2008 from Crabtree. And theyre the only one to work on that truck oil changes or anything like that. And when I go to buy another vehicle thats who Ill go see.

We were 400 miles from home and had car trouble. We stopped at Crabtree Buick GMC--unscheduled. The gentleman who greeted us in the service department was nicely dressed, polite and efficient. He apologized that other cars were already in their busy service bays, but as he took down our information he assured us that they would evaluate our car as promptly as possible. Well, they diagnosed, repaired and presented our car to us in under an hour and had us back on the road...and at a wonderful price. Every employee with whom we interacted was most friendly and cordial. I commend the personality of Nathan Smith in Sales with whom we chatted during our brief wait. I would be remiss if I failed to note that the pleasant gentleman by whom we were greeted was Mr. Crabtree, himself.

My boyfriend & I were on a road trip from Nashville to Lynchburg, VA. About 3 hours into the drive the check engine light came on his 2 week old truck. We stopped off at Crabtree, they were so kind! They got the issue solved in 2O minutes. They even allowed us to bring our 2 puppies into the waiting room and gave them water! Wonderful service! If I lived in Bristol, VA I would service my vehicle there!

In March, 2017 I bought a new LaCrosse from Crabtree Buick. This was the only car I planned to look at. There was one on sale that I took for a test drive. I knew before I got out of the parking lot that I would be buying the car due to its excellent handling. I had driven a Chrysler 300 but did not care for it. The young man who was helping me said nothing about a small circular dent on the trunk just under the emblem. I barely noticed it at all and actually thought it was meant to be used to push up the trunk. I gave the dealership the benefit of the doubt and, unfortunately, did not ask if it was supposed to be there. I did finally decide that it was probably not supposed to be there but because I was working night shifts, there just never seemed to be a good time to have it looked at. On top of that, I procrastinate about everything. When I finally made it to the dealership months later, I spoke with Scott(?) who completely blew me off and said, At least 7 pairs of eyes would have looked at the car. If that was the case, I surely would not have noticed it. While he did not call me a liar, he might as well have done so. I then tried to speak with Mr. Crabtree who did return several calls but we were constantly leaving messages with each other and nothing was accomplished. Recently, I had to get a battery for my key fob. While I was there, I inquired if Mr. Crabtree was there and was told he was not there but I could leave a message, which I did as well as on other occasions if my car needed servicing. I never received a response. There had been other days I visited the dealership hoping to speak with him but I was always told he wasnt there. My words of advice are to LOOK ELSEWHERE IF YOU WANT TO PURCHASE A BUICK!!! If you do buy a car from this dealership, you should inspect every inch of the car. I dont like to post negative comments but the poor attention I received warrants a complaint. The dent is small and would have been an easy repair. I would NOT consider purchasing a car in the future and would recommend to my friends and family to go elsewhere. Ive never had any issues with the service department and still take my car there for oil changes, etc.
Don’t trade in a car here. They take FOREVER to pay it off.
I called for the towing department and they wouldnt answer my phone call, once they did they immediately hung up the phone. I tried to call for about 10 to 15 more minutes and they would never answer. I called another company and they were there in about 30 minutes. This used to be a decent place

I went in to buy a truck that my neighbor traded in. I knew they gave her 15000.00 and they marked it up to twentyone. The manager would only come down 200 and the salesman wouldnt consider a lower offer. He told me he would like to sell me a truck, but it wouldnt be that one which was a very rude thing to say. By the way the truck was 12 years old.

I had debated for months wheather to try one of the online car buying services because I hate going to dealerships. Ive been to a few in the past and it’s never been a great experience but this location process could not have gone smoother. I found a vehicle that fit the criteria I had been searching for for months at a great price on their website and emailed them and set an appointment to come look at it as I would be traveling over an hour to view it. The person I had initially been discussing the vehicle with was with another customer so Nathan Smith took over and was helpful, prompt and did everything he could to get me into THAT vehicle that day. I appreciated he did not push for me to look at vehicles out of my comfortable price range (the day before I had found a car closer to home and all they wanted was for me to spend 40k vs 20k so I left)They were able to get me out the door paying below what I had told them my budget was and quickly I might add. The next time I’m in the market I will definitely look here first and my associates were told about this dealership as well. Fast, straight to the point, good pricing, good service, not pushy. I was able to purchase the exact car I’ve been wanting with less that 20k miles on it for a great price. Highly recommend.

I went to get sticker on my car, when I got home and looked down at floormats, covered with grease and dirt. I had to take it out and clean the dirt and grease off. Grease smeared all over floor mat. I will have to clean it with grease remover. The floormats are new and tan. Big mess!🤨

Not a good experience at all. My 2010 mustang gt had some body damage from hitting a deer. they fixed the damage and painted it. I have been back 2 times since then because my paint keeps peeling off. they fixed the driver side once. thenthe passenger side. now i am headed back for the third time. the same place theyfixed on the passenger side is peeling again. they also aligned the front end. 4000 miles later my front tires were worn out. took it down to friendship ford to have thealignment checked. they said it was no where near where it should be. also said crabtrees alignment machine must be out of calibration. stopped by crabtree the same day told them what friendship said. they were not willing to do anything about it so i had to buy 2 more perelli tires. that cost me almost 400.00 plus i had to pay friendship to align my front end. i have an apt. oct. 15 for them to fix my paint for the third time. I think im just going to trade cars.
For towing, these guys are great. They did what exit 7 towing wouldnt do.
