I was told my transmission was tearing up on my Ford Escape here in my home town. I have taken very good care of my Escape and was not looking forward to having to buy a new vehicle. I thought I would get another opinion. I was told about Wallace Repair by a very nice man from that area Bobby Love to call Wallace Repair. long story short, I took my vehicle to Wallace Repairs, thinking my transmission was going bad. Jason Rasnake the owner, drove my car and that was not the problem at at, transmission is fine, I had a brake that was locking up on the right front side which was causing all the problems of pulling to the right and shimmering when I would slow down and pull out. Jason even took the time to get my vehicle right and repaired for me to drive home. I am very pleased with all the kindness, honesty and dedication to Jason and his staff. I strongly recommend this auto business if you need auto services. I’m over a hour drive but have ask Jason if he would take me as a regular customer if in need of vehicle repair, and Jason said yes. I am from Boston and was visiting relatives in Abingdon when my alternator quit. Jason had every opportunity to stick it to someone who was between a rock and a hard place, but did the very opposite, giving me a very fair price and very quick work (about half a day). I hope I dont have car troubles when Im here again, but if I do, its easy to know where to go.

I always take my vehicle to Wallace. They are honest and hard working. It is hard to find mechanics like these fellas anymore.

I needed my car inspected, they got me in that day. Upon inspecting they told me my break-pads were very low. I live in Johnson City and decided to call around to local repair shops to see if there was anyone close who would do them for a fair price. I ended up driving back to Wallace Repair Shop because they were the only ones who talked to me about what I needed and didnt just act like they wanted to get off the phone after giving me their price. I appreciate the quick service I was given both times. Being a female I worry that Im going to be taken advantage of when getting my car worked on, I feel very sure that this would never happen here. I will definitely be making the drive to have my car worked on here in the future. Thanks!

Really friendly, inexpensive

While driving down to Texas from New Jersey, my car overheated- white smoke coming out of the hood and coolant leaking all over. It ended up being a head gasket issue, among other things. Jason and his team were very sympathetic and worked on my car diligently. They did all they could to make sure the car would be safe and realiable to drive. Within 2 days, my car was up and running again. I couldnt be more grateful. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in the area looking for good, trustworthy mechanics.
