While traveling with our 2002 GMC tow vehicle we encountered engine trouble in Brattleboro Vt. We called a few local shops who told us they’re bays were completely full and there was no way they could help. We called the Auto Mall in Brattleboro and boy are we glad we did. After explaining that we were stranded on Interstate 91 they said the that if we could get the truck to them, they would try to get us up and running again so we could get to our destination in Maine, for an event we were registered for. We limped our truck and trailer over to them, they took it in to run diagnostics, and gave us the news it would require a part overnighted to the dealership. That was not news we were looking for of course but they then began calling local hotels for us, looking for pet friendly accommodations for the evening. And they found one! We returned the next day and were relieved to find their very capable mechanic had the problem resolved, and we we’re off and running again. Everyone was super friendly and supportive of our situation. Our pup made a new friend with Kevin in sales who was well supplied with treats and happy to see her each day. We are fortunate to have broken down in just the right place. We hope to visit again in the future, in hopes of upgrading our truck.
I was on a trip from PA to Maine and hit a rock that took out one of my radiators on my Porsche. I was stuck in town at a hotel with a car I couldn’t drive. I called them Monday morning and they were able to get it in right away to see what needed to replaced, when no one else would even look at it. They had to order in a new radiator and mount, and as soon as the parts came in they got it put back together very quickly. I highly recommend the service department. They were willing to work on a brand they don’t sell, and did and excellent job of getting it done right and quickly.

Was working with Kevin and was getting my own financing. Got approved and was told that the truck I was running numbers on was not for sale and I was allegedly told this. Called finance to ask what the deal was due to the drop off in communication, they had no idea I was even looking at a truck. HUGE ball drop from this guy. Now I have a full approval and no truck. Waste of time and credit pull. Fortunately I did some quick searching to find a dealer with something in stock and they are giving me 2k more in trade. Ive been here 3 times and 2 experiences have been total trash. Wont go here again and neither should you.

Everything was fine. But the next day after my oil change I get the first check engine light in my brand new truck, coincidence I highly doubt it considering the same the happened a year ago when I brought my old truck to auto mall. Things got interesting when I brought the truck back there and explained what was going on. Long story short, I will never be going back there and I wouldnt suggest anyone go there, for sales or service.

Had appt at 8am, first appointment of the day, oil change and tire rotation.I was in a hurry and expected to leave within 1 hour, took them 1.5 hours to complete.
I purchased a 2020 GMC Truck, 1st salesman was courtesy and professional and sales agreement went forward without a hitch. The finance manager was the only personnel to offer great service, it was downhill from that point on. Then came time for delivery, walked into showroom after scheduling my delivery and wasnt greeted by anyone. Six different employees just watched as I waited for anyone to say Can I help you. After scheduling the delivery there were several items that came with the truck which were not with the truck. No floor mats, missing cables and no one to explain any features with the truck. After I took it home I noticed that the Def tank was empty. It seemed like a great place to do business and the reviews seemed to be genuine however thats not what I experienced. I called about the missing items, they said they would call back in 5 minutes and an hour later I called back and got the run-around about the items. Therefore, I cant recommend the Brattleboro Automall as a business that I would frequent again. Too many other dealerships that will go the extra mile to earn your business. They just fall short.

Im very frustrated with my 2015 GMC Sierra and the Brattleboro Automall. I purchased the truck in December and have had problems ever since. Last night, I picked up the truck from the Automall after having it serviced again, this time for a major engine repair (valve lifter replacement). The truck is now sitting in my driveway AGAIN with the check engine light on.Since purchasing the truck in December, I have dealt with the following issues:- The headliner of my roof was leaking water and dripping on the window/mirror controls as well as my seat and floor mat. I brought the truck in to have the leaky roof repaired and tires rebalanced since there was a little bit of a shake I had noticed. The truck was not ready the next day when I went to pick it up, so I had to drive from Greenfield, MA to Brattleboro, VT 2 nights in a row for this.- When I left after having the roof fixed and tires rebalanced there was still a big water stain in the headliner. When I got on the interstate to go home my tires were so unbalanced that my truck was shaking violently. At this point I brought it straight back and showed the service guy a video of the shaking steering wheel as proof and also brought up the headliner still being stained. They took care of this.- The truck bucked and the check engine light came on and was flashing for a few seconds, then went back off. I called and spoke with someone in the service department explaining what had happened and symptoms.- I did as service suggested as possible fix and bought/installed spark plugs (OEM plugs).- The check engine light started flashing again, I was able to check the code this time, which was P0300 - Random or Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected. Next logical step would be plug wires, so I bought and installed spark plug wires (OEM wires) and cleared the code.- I brought the truck in for an oil change and the next day, the check engine light came back on and started flashing again, now with a ticking noise. I got codes for cylinder #6 misfire and a few others. I found a GM technical service bulletin #15-06-01-002H. This described the exact symptoms my truck had.I called and spoke with the service manager about this and expressed my concerns and frustrations with the truck and repairs. He mentioned multiple times I should have just bought an extended warranty on the truck and that none of his service guys would EVER have told me that I should try changing the spark plugs. I am not a liar and I have done nothing but try to be patient and just get the truck running properly. I paid $160 to have the truck towed to Brattleboro. The issue he said was what I suspected based on what I found in GM’s service bulletin and the lifters were going to need to be replaced. He said the repairs would be about $2,700, but they would help me out and it was going to ONLY cost me $800 and they were doing me a favor by getting the repairs down to this. I paid the $800 and picked up the truck after it was “fixed”. On the way home the check engine light came on AGAIN!!!I put it on the code reader and now am getting 3 new error codes, all related to fuel trim cylinder balance bank 2…After all the frustrations of dealing with this truck it is still sitting, running poorly. I purchased the truck only a few months ago and have an email from within the warranty period stating the check engine light came on and was flashing WITHIN that period.I have spent a ton of time and money on this truck and I believe that I got a lemon. I feel that they should buy the truck back for what I paid minus the 4 payments I made (yes, only 4 payments and already all these issues). I am super frustrated with the Automall and I am very disappointed in GM for not standing behind their trucks.I hate to put out an email like this, but I don’t know how else to get my issues resolved or prevent others from falling into the trap I am in now. I am hoping that somehow, someway, SOMEBODY will step up and take some accountability for selling me this lemon.
We had a great experience with Brattleboro Auto Mall when purchasing our 2020 GMC 3500! We were having difficulty finding the GMC truck that met all of our requirements and they were selling very quickly...but we finally found two GMCs at the Brattleboro Auto Mall. We are from MA and we had never purchased a vehicle from out-of-state so we werent sure what to expect. The team at Brattleboro Auto Mall made it very easy to purchase from out of state and handled all of the necessary paperwork. We did all of the negotiating and signing via phone and e-mail which saved us a lot of time in the buying process. The sales team (John and Nate) and financing (Tony) were easy to deal with, respected our time during the process and kept us informed about the demand for the truck we wanted. We are very happy with our new GMC 3500 and would definitely purchase another vehicle from Brattleboro Auto Mall!
We had a great experience with Shane Greene from the sales department and the dealership itself. We saw a Tahoe on line that we were interested in but live 2 hours away. I called the dealership and spoke to Shane inquiring more information about the vehicle and to see if it was worth the drive and still available. It just so happens he was the sales person who took the Tahoe in trade and was very knowledgeable about its history. When we arrived Shane was ready and waiting to greet us, he was very friendly, personable and professional. When it came time to deal with numbers like every dealership they try to make their money but after some talking we reached an agreement for our trade and the new to us Tahoe that we felt was very reasonable. The only issue we ran into was they only had 1 of the 2 keys but Shane was right on top of it, he called the previous owners, located the second key and will be sending it to us. Overall worth the drive and Great experience! If your in the market for a new car go see Shane Greene!
Truck was there for oil change and service. They were on time and quick.
I went there with my brother to look at a truck. We met with Joe, the sales man. A very friendly gentleman who spoke with us with no pressure. My brother agreed on a price for the truck and in under two hours the deal was done. The finance person was also very friendly and no pressure. The sales experience was quite pleasant I have to admit. And Im always very skeptical about car dealerships in general. I would say, give these folks a shot. They seemed quite pleasant to deal with in my book.
My husband and I talked with Shane over the phone on Saturday and he initiated all the steps needed so we could have a smooth transaction on Sunday. We made the 6 hour drive from Pennsylvania on Sunday morning and we were well taken care of.

Worst communication of any dealership I have ever seen. While trying to buy an $82k truck, I practically begged the salesman (Kevin) and the GM (Chad) to respond to my texts/emails about my trade and OTD price. Neither have responded. I guess they do so much business there that customer service is not important and irrelevant.

Very good team right there. Was a little disappointed on some things that werent explained until I was in the financing dept. Agreed upon price wasnt the case. That got changed on me but not sure if that was the angle knowing I was coming in from another State and had a 1.5 hr drive. Not sure. Over all, nice place and very friendly.

The Auto Mall price was exactly as quoted. I drove away with my new truck 3 hours after arriving at the Auto Mall and a good hour of that was several managers patiently answering my numerous questions. We could not be more happy with the service and experience we had at the Auto Mall. We feel like it was truly a unique experience that we will never have again. Buying a car out of town while traveling with all your stuff and family is not a fun experience especially when your bank turns out to be ridiculous. But everyone at the Auto Mall when out of their way and way beyond expectations to not only work with us, but give the most outstanding service we have ever received in a transaction.There is definitely a stigma surrounding car salesmen, but Kevin breaks the mold. He was such a pleasure to work with - so informative, so patient. He had other deals going on but we never felt like it. He worked so hard going between us and management and finance and our bank to make the deal happen. After 12 hours of finally getting the deal to go through, he still stayed late and took the time to make sure all our questions about the truck were answered and that we knew how to work everything. We could not be more happy and if every car salesman were like Kevin, they would be respected and not looked down on.The guys in the service bay were awesome - letting us park our truck in there to unload all our stuff and have our stuff taking up space all day. Having a service tech install our ladder rack - taking time out of other things he could have been working on to not only install it, but to go above and beyond doing it.We honestly could not write enough good things. We are so happy with the whole experience and we wish we lived in VT so we could buy all our cars from Kevin and everyone at the Auto Mall.

With confidence you can sell anything. It was my first time buying a vehicle from a dealership and the guy made it happen for me and I couldn’t be more happy with the truck. I will day on the other hand that the salesman knew exactly how to rip me off with my trade in. In the end though it will work out and everyone has to learn somehow.

We have been an Auto Mall customer for over 8 years and have always been very satisfied with the service and the treatment when purchasing a new vehicle. Six weeks ago l asked the manager Chad and the owner Chris if they could locate a vehicle for us that wasnt on there lot. The answer was no problem. We also needed a vehicle to use in the mean time as ours went on the fritz. Again no problem. Then they picked a vehice for us to look at and let us try it our for a few days. We are a little more particular than the average and we decided it wasnt the one. They refined the search to accommodate our more specific needs. After a couple more thats not the one they found the perfect one. The entire staff from the young car wash guy to finance treated us extremely well. Never felt the stress and anxiety that typically comes with a big purchase.

My recent purchase of my 2018 GMC 2500 was by far one of the easiest transactions I’ve had with a dealership. My salesman Shane Greene was excellent to deal with, even on his day off he helped to get more information about the truck for me. The truck itself was even better in person then the pictures and description over the phone. Coming from CT I wanted to make sure that the 2.5 hr trip up was worth it and it absolutely was. I would 100% recommend anyone to go see the team up there.
