I entered this store with my family and the staff showed us great customer service. At first glance I thought the store was closing due to the large space in their shoe area. But they assured to us that they were not and staying open. But these employees really stood out to me, from other stores I shop at or have visited. They made what is normally a rough day buying the kids shoes into a stress free relaxing experience. They were all very engaged in helping not only us but all the other shoppers. They had a strong knowledge of their product which felt reassuring in not receiving the usual used car salesman pitch. I wanted it it known that Alex, Dan, Kylie and Mike were awesome. I will most definitely come back.
Great service all around. Lots of good items to choose from with a wide range of sales around the store. Employees were very helpful.
Great customer service and the price is always right on a DaD budget.. great selection of shoes and other sporting goods.
They have a nice staff
No complaints....👌💪🙏💯
First experience at the store, I was greeted by an older gentleman. VERY HELPFUL AND ATTENTIVE. I signed up for the store rewards card that day and purchased two pairs of shoes and some accessories on his advice.Second visit to the store. I saw no one on the floor. I went to finish my shopping with my companion. Then came back. This time I saw two girls in the back by the register, not behind it but talking by the accessories. Few people came in and none were approached. I finally spoke up after a few minutes to ask if they were store associates or not. Asking for a shoe size but she never actually came to see what shoe I was taking about but ran in the back to see if it was there. It wasnt. But she never actually checked to see what shoe I was talking about. It was a pair on the wall four rows above the with a sign that says ask for assistance. (Not reach able by me or any one under 7ft tall. Not visible unless your standing in front. So how did she know they didnt have it if she never actually varified the shoe? It wasnt visible where where she stood at the back of the store. For this, 1 star. No return business unless I see the guy I met my first visit 2 months ago.DO better.
Wasn’t planning on making this but after more than 1 moment of ignorance i feel like it should be said. My boyfriend walked into the Olympia sports in south shore plaza last week on Friday and tried to return something and was turned away from his return because he didn’t have a receipt from something i bought him, now I’ve been to about 3 different Olympia sports and I’ve had no problem returning things and one time i didn’t have a receipt and the woman that helped me in the Brockton location that day was very nice and helped me with no problem. I thought it was very weird that he was turned away without the worker even trying to look up a membership or anything. I went to Olympia sports with my boyfriend yesterday and we didn’t get any greeting from the white man with a beard in the store but when an older white man walked in the worker was very happy to greet him and help him with a smiles and jokes and the whole 9 but he simply looked at us and just kept working and then watched us in the store. Now i don’t think it’s a coincidence, this white man with a beard and baseball cap wouldn’t give my boyfriend and i proper service and we were only served looks from the other side of the store but the white man was treated the way he was supposed to. Now a white woman with her kids came in and they were greeted with the warmth that the white man got and 2 older Indian men walked behind and he stared at them and they went to look at shoes and he walked passed them to go to the register and he still says nothing to the Indian men and he just looks at them. I’m a proud Mixed woman and my boyfriend is a proud Haitian American man and we’ve both dealt with discrimination in the past but not in this mall. There are too many people of different cultures, races, and religions to have a bigot like the white man with a beard to act the way he does. The other white guy with a short hair cut cake out of the back and he greeted us and everyone he went near before going back to the back. If the man with the short hair can simply do his job and provide fair customer service then why can’t the worker with the beard do the same? The south shore plaza Braintree mall is a mixing pot of people. This isn’t a coincidence this is straight up ignorance from a white man once again. Do better Olympia and i don’t want to be silenced with a coupon from you i want what’s right to be done. I refuse to go back to the Braintree Olympia Sports when i get terrible service from a bigot. But most likely you guys won’t address the issue and ignore me which sounds about white. #olympiasowhite
