The pharmacy is the absolute worst. They do not follow their own policy and procedures to ensure customers get their medication in a timely manner. When the issues are brought to managers they dont care. They give you the runaround they give you lip service they dont actually fix any of the problems. Tim, the store manager will actually lie to you and tell you he called your phone and got some weird recording when in fact he never even attempted to call you to follow-up like he said he would.

Very great selection of groceries and meats. They also have kind workers here. Go and get food to see for yourself!

The ladies in the bakery went above and beyond . They were patient, kind, and obviously talented . I can’t thank them enough for bringing a Mermaid cake to life. I told them that I bought little mermaids and they went to work . You made a little girl so incredibly happy. This cake will be remembered. Thank you so much for your efforts . I know one name was Candace .. I regret that I did not write down the other. Thank you 😊

For the most part we love Publix as a whole company. Prices are definitely going up fast unfortunately.

Publix Super Markets are always a great place to get excellent quality food and, of course, their legendary subs. The Publix at Lakewood Walk is no exception. Situated at the juncture of Lakewood Ranch Boulevard and S.R. 70, it is a convenient location, easy to get in or out of via either road, and has excellent staff.The sole reason I do not quite give this location 5 stars is that it is a smaller Publix than usual and has rather narrow aisles that, when busy, can make for a congested shopping experience. They have a phenomenal deli, though, and their seafood department always has wonderful selection and obviously very fresh product.Ive found the other customers who come to this store seem ruder than those I encounter at other nearby Publix - unsure why. Aside from the narrow aisles and at times rude customers, this is a fine Publix and a great place to shop.

Wow these people are super awesome not only do they help out the community with low cost spay, neutering but they also work hard getting in feral cats that have been trapped to be TNVR and they are amazing. They make you feel good and right at home and really show they care. 💗

Better of the local Publix locations as far as finding product that is not expired, but went at 8:35 to get subs when they close at 10 and the sub station had already been broken down. I guess I learned that this is not the location to get subs at night. Drove to the Lorraine location and at 9pm, fully set up and making subs.

I walked in the door during an early closure due to Tropical Strom Elsa. The store manager allowed me to come in and complete my shopping without putting pressure on me or rushing me. His words, No maam youre fine, please come in, grab what you need. I understand. I appreciate and respect him.

Upset about the flu vaccine appt scheduled for 1pm today. I arrived at the publix pharmacy and the lady at their register asked me to go back to the Cafe to fill out paperwork. I came back to turn in and she proceeded to tell afterwards that theyre short staffed. No one is available to do the vaccine that the others went home. To come back tomorrow ??? So why wasnt I contacted to reschedule or emailed again that it was cancelled?? Are they going to be there tomorrow?

This location is another location that is close to our newer home, it is on the way home from our business via a different route. And this makes it so easy literally having a Publix on almost every corner. As if I need something at the house for dinner or for the baby or even just a prescription that needs to be filled I can have it at this location so on the way home from our business myself or my husband can grab whatever we need readily. This location is beautiful it’s clean everyone is super friendly and nice and extremely helpful. The typical Publix experience that you expect to have.

Really clean and efficient well-stocked store. They manage the front well: usually open checkout lanes or just a short wait, plus they have self checkout lanes!

Typical new style Publix. A lot prettier outside than our neighborhood one on Beneva, and its new. What I noticed most were higher prices and fewer BOGOS. I guess they had to raise prices to pay for the huge bribe they paid DeathSantis. I dont normally shop at Publix because of that any more. I just needed a few things, and this one was right along my way.

If you like doing your shopping in the morning, dont come here. They never have enough cash registers open. There were two open this morning at almost 10 am and all the self checkout lines were being used. I dont mind self checkout for a few items but not for a full cart. They are also constantly out of items. They always ask if you found everything, when I say no Im directed to customer service. if I need something I need it now. I dont need to have them ship it from another store and then for me to make another trip to pick it up.1/23/20 yet another day of basic items out of stock. Seriously, how do you not have regular Lipton Onion soup mix on the shelves but yet you have every other of the five varieties of Lipton soup next to the empty space?

Recently joined my wife on a shopping trip to the Publix @70/Lakewood ranch BlvdWalked around and found the sandwich bar, Ashley quickly greeted me and within a few seconds made me feel like a long time customer. This young lady does not make a sandwich, she BUILDS IT! Fantastic sub sandwich, amazing customer service, all at a price that is lower than the nearby fast food restaurants Next time you are at Publix, visit the sandwich bar, you wont be disappointed!

Made a quick stop off the highway for food and clean restrooms... They have a valet... What kind of publix has a valet? And a Cafe. Like. Coffee bar. And you know how publix has coolers with pre-made sandwiches and salads for a grab and go lunch? They had a giant section like that. With all the sandwiches and salads. And Chinese meals. And dumplings. And shrimp cocktail. Pork noodle bowls. Authentic ramen. The refrigerated drink section next to it was fancy and expensive (if you want a quick, cold, $8 prebottled kombucha thats the place to go). A large-for-publix salad bar and hot food bar. Small restrooms. And a valet. Just stressing that point. They park your car for you. And, most publixes help bring your groceries to your car, but this publix brings your car to your groceries.

I was searching for a Newborn Rectal Thermometer. I searched several places. No luck. Went to this Publix. Item was in stock. Nice & helpful employees. Plus this Store was clean & great location. No waiting to check out either.

Too overcrowded, so sad Earthfare closed. There should be at least a person temperature checking individuals and making sure they are not above capacity. The fire department would have a field day! Someone should report them. Never going back to this location or Publix again for that matter. Whole Foods here I come.

Bought something yesterday and it didn’t ring up as I expected, came to the store to return as it was more than I wanted to spend.The woman at the desk was abrupt and very unhelpful. While I prefer markets that have more than just a token amount of organic foods and produce, Publix does seem to be run well.One nice caveat is they now have valet parking. Valet parking at a grocery store? Thats weird. I would never use that service at a grocery store. However, Im sure some with disabilities or just have other issues might. In any event, I suppose its a nice touch.Most of the staff are pleasant, and seem helpful. So, Publix is a good go to store when I cant get to my organic markets.

There is no supermarket that competes with Publix for their fresh produce, meats or prices. Their bakery is the best, for fresh donuts, breads, pies and cakes. Many people order their special event, made to order cakes here. Even wedding cakes!This particular Publix at Lakewood Ranch is “our” Publix. From the manager, Jeff, to all the workers, everyone is helpful and always ready to help. I have to say that Kelly is an amazing person. Always professional even under the stress of short staffed. Meeting you with a smile and big blue eyes and asking you if you have been helped. That is especially true when she takes her time to check my lottery tickets. What a lady.

Rude employees. Ordered a sub for pickup at 1:30 this location. I arrived on time and noticed the sub wasn’t in the pickup area, so I asked the members of the Deli counter if they have gotten the chance to prepare my order and they respond with “didn’t get it”. Thinking it may have been my fault for sending it to the wrong location, I check my email for the confirmation and did in fact see it was meant for this location (correct location). Mentioned my findings to the employees and they reply again: “didn’t get it”. Yikes. Didn’t even offer to start making it. Won’t be going there ever again

Grocery shopping has changed so much, even the products have changed. Whats available is how you structure a meal. The young man who packed, although green, could use some training. Persnickety comment perhaps, but I had it lined up on the belt. Like goes in the same bag as like...

Had excellent customer service today from Willie (I believe thats what his name was). Hard to find good customer service with the younger generation and this young man was more than happy to step away from what he was doing to actually walk me to the product I was looking for. It makes the ordinary shopping experience a better one.
