Friendly, knowledgable, honest staff. Installed my windows and vinyl sliding doors for lanai enclosure in late 2017. Very reasonable prices. Helpful to this day if I have questions!
I called Bradenton Window & Allied Products to have them repair a french door which I tried to fix myself and bunged it up real good. It was difficult to fix but the guys problem solved it and left it good as new. Awesome folks.
I usually dont write negative reviews, but I am going to make an exception here.We needed replacement for the balance rods for two windows, plus a quote for the replacement of a broken window pane. They charged us a staggering 290,83 USD for the replacement of the rods only (we skipped replacement of the window pane because that alone would have been almost 300 USD).The 4 rods were 12,95 USD each in material. All the rest was charged for labor and a service call.Note that they came out twice -the first time without any material, although I had send them a picture of the rods that needed to be replaced - with two(!) people. The second time I had explicitly asked their office not to send one of the two guys because (he was rude to me AND to his coworker).A minor thing in all this: One of the stoppers of the window broke while installing, and they couldnt provide a replacement. Will have to source that myself I guess.
Always willing to help. Friends, kind, and knowledge. There supplies are too notch and there employees are just as great. We will not go to any other window supplier. If you havent tried them take a minute you will not regret it i promise.
Great local company. I know every time I call them. I will get all my questions answered, and the product that I am looking for. Thank you Bradenton Window for treating me like a person, and always being there.
Scott at Bradenton Window replaced all of our front windows and did an amazing job coordinating our window installation. We received an great price and their installers are INCREDIBLE. I would highly recommend them for your new windows!
I had ten windows that would not stay open. Several local companies quoted me in the thousands to repair. One company wanted $300 per window ($3,000 total), and another contractor wouldnt touch it for less than $1,900. We are so blessed to have called Bradenton Window. They charged a reasonable service call fee, and a few dollars for the parts, and not even 2 hours worth of work! Talk about savings!!! Bradenton Window responded quickly, and only fixed what was truly broken (the plastic clips, not the balancing rods like the others).I highly recommend Bradenton Window - they are honest, lower-priced, highly professional, and do excellent work!
Great company. I have used them for years and they have ALWAYS been more than fair. There are very few companies in the country that can find parts for older windows, and Bradenton Window is one of them. After reading the reviews it is unfortunate that customers do not understand how difficult many of their requests are, thus why so few companies cater to this type of work. This is a family owned business that has been a part of our community for decades. They truly care and do a great job in some of the most difficult of circumstances!!!!
Spoke to representative who stated they would email prices for doors and they never did. There were many other issues with this entire experience and i do not care to share them all..
I would give Bradenton Window and Allied Products 5 stars based on the product and end results, but the entire process was not good. My wife and I had our master bathroom remodeled and after 2 estimates from other businesses we chose Bradenton Window for a shower enclosure, because of past experiences. In the past 2 years we have purchased 4 sliding patio doors and 9 windows, which are all hurricane rated. ($$$$) We have been very pleased with Bradenton Window and have given them many recommendations to our friends. After the construction of the bathroom was complete we had Bradenton Window measure and order the shower enclosure. We knew it would take about 2 weeks for it to come in. Doug, Wayne and Scott were fantastic throughout the process. Doug is excellent at measuring correctly and for us there has never been a problem. So Doug wrote up the work order, with all the correct measurements, and sent it to AAG in Naples. Sal, at AAG, said he had difficulty reading Dougs numbers. I personally heard a yelling Sal admit he didnt see well. He is the one making this enclosure!!! So Sal changed one of Dougs measurements and sent his updated work order back to Bradenton Window for approval. Carl, in the office approved the work order, evidently without double checking it against Dougs measurements. There was a 2 discrepancy. I realize people do make mistakes, but a mistake like this should not be made...the correct measurement is paramount to a successful installation. Needless to say the enclosure didnt fit and one side had to be reordered. It took 8 days to get the correct part. The job is now completed and our bathroom looks beautiful. We told Doug, great job as usual. No one from management at Bradenton Window contacted us offering any apology or financial compensation for the mistake and the inconvenience we were caused. Yes we are just one customer but this just one customer will not choose Bradenton Window and Allied Products again.
Great family business with super helpful people and many products to help with your needs. Definitely recommend!
Bradenton Window and Allied Products installed a Larsen retractable screen in a very challenging location and I am pleased with the result. The outside handle was loose and they sent a technician within 2 days to tighten it.
I had all of the windows in my house replaced with high impact windows a couple of years ago and I am extremely happy with them! Beautiful windows and each one opens so smoothly. The installers were very knowlegable, friendly, professional and did an excellent job.The beginning of this summer I needed to replace 2 doors one of which was a front screen door so I calledBradenton Window and Allied Products. They came out and measured, ordered the doors and installed them. I am extremely happy with the doors and the installers did great work again. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs good quality products and service! Thank you R.D. and staff!
I manage an apartment complex that has regular windows and impact windows. They all are different sizes and depending on which floor the sizes varies and the type of window. For the past 17 years I have used several different vendors for my windows, never loyal to anyone, Until I found Bradenton Window. They are always fair in their rates and less expensive than most I have used in the past.Their completion dates are always spot on, even when replacing Hurricane impact windows that have to be ordered. They do a through job and always clean up after themselves and have never left a mess. They are the most pleasant company to work with from the office staff to the wonderful installers. They bend over backwards to make the experience as pleasant as it can be and they are always here for me. I cannot say that about many Vendors that I deal with.Thank you Bradenton Window!!!!Susan JenkinsVillage at CortezCommunity Director
Experts, made my old sliders look and operate like! Very professional and tidy as they worked, highly recommend.
From the installation of one slider and three windows in 2017, it took 10 months to finally complete the job to as satisfactory a condition as possible. I would definitely not employ this company to do any further work for me and I will definitely not be recommending this company to any family, friends, colleagues etc. Deb S.
I wanted to get a quote on getting a shower splash panel installed for a new shower. I left a message on 10/11/17 and did not get a call back. I called today 10/12/17 and was told they want a $58 dollar service charge for an estimate. The other vendors have been happy to schedule an appointment to do a FREE quote.
I operate a business and time is money. I called on the phone to verify that they would have the window operator for the awning windows in a clients house. They lady on the phone said yes we have a bunch of parts in stock. Bring the parts you need and well match it up. I drove 45 minutes to Bradenton in mid afternoon on a Monday to get there. I wasnt greeted upon entering. In fact I forgot the part in the truck and walked out to get it and still nobody said anything. I come back in with the operator and an older gentleman walks up to the service desk and asked if I needed help. He then takes the part after we have conversation and goes to pair it up with The operators on his shelf. Come to find out he jokingly shows me the boxes of The operators that I apparently need. Then goes on about an elaborate story as to why theyre not there and whose fault it is as to why they werent ordered. Instead of just owning up to it and saying were out I can order it for you. Which he then offered after joking about being out of stock. I can order it too man its the fact the woman on the phone was wrong and you dont compensate for the time nor did you appear to care enough. Oh and the AC is broke and is ungodly hot inside.
I hired Bradenton Window and Door to replace 7 old (50+) large awning windows. They were on time and did a great job. The price was right as well. I would highly recommend them.
Six screens made from a sample original frame did not fit and they could not figure out why. They offered to make them again for the full price. Customer service all the way around is bad. They offer no solutions, a total rip off. Stay away!!!
Good people,good service.
Great service! I have used Bradenton Window at my apartment community that I manage for over 3 years. They have always been prompt, responsive and professional.
We are very pleased with the service provided and appreciate the professionalism of the office staff and installers. Thank you!
I had a very similar experience as the other reviewer. I called and left 2 messages before someone called me back. Then, it took a coupe of tries to get an estimator. Then, I had to call time and time again practically begging for an estimate. When I get the estimate, it was almost double what the other 2 estimates were. Then, to get it changed from 1 window type to another took several more weeks of phone calls and emails before I could get a better estimate. None of my estimates had details, it was a single price with no indication of what I was buying. Other companies were very clear on what I was buying, and had lots of details. In the end, these guys were a pain to deal with, dont return calls or emails, and dont have competitive prices. I got the same windows these guys were selling from another company and it was literlly 50% of the cost of this company, done by American workers under a license and permit. And, their competition quoted me within a few days, and adjusted quotes within a few days, and returned all of my calls. So, dont bother with this company unless youre looking to overpay for bad service and to be ignored. I felt as if they purposely avoided me and overquoted to avoid the work, then I read this other review and realized I experienced the same exact neglect. Im so happy I didnt use them. I love my new windows and the company that did the work.
I would not recommend this business. I called looking for a commercial door repair. They stated on the phone that they dont provide free quotes and the service call fee would be $58. After they looked at it, they stated that the part I needed is not in stock and it will be double of what they originally thought. Well, in that case, let me think about it and call around first. He stated that the service call fee is $88. I was told that the service fee was $58 and he said ok I wont charge you for my time. WHAT!!!! Thats what the service call fee is for. He gave me a receipt and guess what it said $58 dollars preprinted on the statement. He was trying to take a extra $30 from me. What a scam!! Do not use this business. They are making money by scamming their customers or potential customers. I would not trust them!!
I called to have a broken window repaired and screens replaced.(rescreened)First, the good. I am pleased with the window repair and the screens. Now, the not good. I phoned and was told about the service call fee, a prelimary window cost and an estimated hourly rate to do the actual repairs.About a week went by before they phoned again to make an appointment. They came out and measured the small window and we walked around the house counting and measuring the screens. Then he starts talking about new frames, and I said What???? My frames are fine, they just need to be rescreened. They tell me they will have to call me back with the cost. They call back. I realize we had never talked about color or material. He had picked black screens for my white house. I changed the color. I asked if there would be additional charges such as hourly rate or service call. I was told no.I received the cost of the window pane. I asked what the hourly charge would be. I was told he didnt see it to be over half an hour, and estimated it to be $30. I said fine. They told me I had to prepay $150.00A week or so later, they call to do the work. They show up later than I was told they would be there. They take the small window to the truck for the repair and replace the broken pain. They reinstall the window. They were ready to leave and I had to remind them about the screens. They take the 10 screens with them. They tell me the screen tabs should be on the outside of the window so they would be easier to remove. (For me and for burglers, i reply) They tell me they will be back in TWO days to reinstall the screens. I reclarify there would be no service/hourly rate additions.A week goes by and a woman calls to make an appointment to reinstall the acreens. I tell them it is fine to come while I am not home. She tells they will install the screens with the tabs out. I tell her no, on the inside. They come and install the screens. All good. I am happy. Now the UGLY!! The woman calls back for the remainder of the bill. She gives me the total. I said where did that number come from? She broke it down.10 screens 136.08...as we agreed to initially1 window pane for 69.98, again as agreed.Service call $58 as agreed.Hourly rate 120.00. I said what... I was quoted $30. She replies there were 2 guys on the repair, 60$,an hour each..I repeat noone said it was per person and not even close to what i was quoted.Too bad, basically.I feel ripped off of $90. and taken advantaged of.I would not recommend this company for big jobs. As to repair a broken window, not many places do that work anymore.
Had 2 big jobs to get done and found them from a google search.First called in early October to setup to meet an estimator. Was told someone would call. No one did. I called back twice more before someone actually called. Then was told someone would swing by and give an estimate. Weeks and weeks went by and still no response. Then Im told I should have received estimate in my email two weeks ago. I say well I havent and they say Ill have it by first thing in the morning. More days go by. I call again (do I like the abuse?)Its now December. I finally receive an estimate and its a typed email for $40k + $17k but no professional details about what kind of windows Id be getting or how many, or a letter head or anything about their company. Finally giving up on these guys and calling someone else.
If you have a older home they have the parts you need.
Terrible installation, windows sometimes wont lock. They say nothing is wrong. My suggestion is to shop anywhere else. That is unless you like lip service, with no responsibility or reason.
