Online they posted a price with a 3k discount. I get the quote and its not the same, and the guy couldn’t explain to me why the discount doesn’t apply to me just because I am an out of state shopper. “You have to speak to a manager.” I guess you hear the stories about car dealerships, so true. Very disappointing. And yes I know this is a crazy car market, but my need for a Subaru isn’t that bad. Good luck to all that are in the market for a car.

Moved to Bradenton a little over a year and let’s say I’ve had bad luck going to the usual Midas for an oil change. For some reason my Subarus oil light came on so I called Conley.. booked an apt and showed up sat. Wow !! Angel was the gentleman that helped me and let me just say what a nice guy. He listened, was professional and I could tell he knew what he was taking about. I’m not one to really do a lot of reviews but sometimes people need to be appreciated. Thank you so much Angel for making my first apt amazing, I will be coming back for all my oil changes, as well as purchasing a new Subaru when I’m ready. I was as well shocked that I’ve been paying over $100 for a synthetic oil change well Conley charged me way less plus they give you a free car wash!

Do not shop at this auto dealer unless you want to get lied to and disappointed. What a waste of my time waiting for my car for over 3 weeks and then finding out there was no car. Cary is a huge liar. Anything to make a deal at the end of the month. I was able to get my down payment back. There motto they treat you like family? What a joke- I would hate to be one of there relatives.I would never shop with this car dealership again.

We just purchased a new Subaru Forester from Conley Subaru using their at home drive it and buy it service. Howard Brooks arrived on time for our at home try it out service. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. After our test drive, Mr. Brooks said he would call within the hour with an offer; he did just that. We agreed on a price and an afternoon delivery time. Robert from the business dept. called and setup our paperwork. Howard and Tom the delivery specialist arrived on time. Tom went over the operation and features of the Forester. Zack the sales manager was helpful too. It was the best buying experience weve ever had. Thank you Conley.

We do not recommend this dealership to anyone who wants an honest transaction of any kind. THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!! They are dishonest and will get you for every penny they can, especially if you seem ignorant about cars (or you’re a woman because they assume you’re ignorant). It just so happens, they underestimated the wrong people.Our air (heat and a/c) stopped working in our used 2012 Impreza that we bought from Conley a couple years ago. We took it in to see what the issue was and within a few hours we got a call back saying we needed 3-4 parts replaced and it was going to cost us $3,800. My dad is a mechanic in another state and about had a come apart when I told him the diagnosis because our car doesn’t even have some of the parts that were diagnosed as bad.My husband and I got on the net and starting searching for forums about this exact problem happening in other Subaru vehicles. We diagnosed the problem as the heater control module (the three switches that control your air flow) and we ordered a new module for $250 and put it in ourselves, thanks to YouTube and video calls with our awesome mechanic dad and we now have air flowing wonderfully.Never underestimate your own abilities!

This dealership is a scam. I finally found a car I wanted and it happened to be here started inquiring about it and asked for prices and they jacked it up $6,000! Not to mention the team member Lindsey was helping me until I brought to their attention that they jacked the price they ignored me and stopped answering anything I had. I had been dealing with their online department via email the past few days in an attempt to purchase a brand new Crosstrek that is in transit. I have been a proud Subaru owner for over 13 years, and wasn’t planning on purchasing any other brand. After many back and forth emails, I decide to stop by today to put down a deposit on the 2021 Crosstrek . A friend of mine who is in the market for a brand new forester decided to tag along with the intention of possibly purchasing her vehicle there as well.We arrived just after 3pm in 92 degree weather and started to proceed indoors to their showroom when we were intercepted by a salesman, and the brief conversation went as follows:Salesman: can I help you folks?My friend: Yes, I’m looking for a forester!Salesman: So are we!My friend: so you don’t have any on the lot?Salesman: nope!Me: Crosstrek…….in transit…..Salesman: Nope! We’re not sure when we’re getting any cars in, maybe next month!The whole encounter took about 3 minutes outdoors and we were sent on our way.No thank you, no goodbye, nothing!I had the vin number and everything ready to purchase the Crosstrek that was in transit, but at this point decided that there was no chance that I’m purchasing my vehicle at this dealership, and especially from one of the rudest individuals I’ve encountered in many years!They lost the business of 2 customers, along with the maintenance of 2 vehicles over the next few years! Folks, I know that there’s a shortage of inventory due to the microchip issue, but there was zero excuse for this individual to act in this manner!We will be heading to other dealerships tomorrow to purchase our Subaru’s!My apologies for the lengthy review, but if I’m going to leave a zero-1 star review, I thought I should explain what happened in detail!

Loved the entire shopping and buying process with Conley Subaru. Lindsey, with internet sales, was very informative and attentive. She answered all of the preliminary questions that I had. Mr. Howard Brooks Jr was absolutely amazing to work with. He secured the car that I wanted and had it ready for me to sign and drive it off the lot. The finance process was done online and the negotiations were fair and quick. Perfect executions of CDC procedure regulations for the entire in-store transaction. And they offered a more in-depth training of the intricacies of your vehicle, which I love. Im so excited with my purchase, just upset I didnt do it sooner.

I blew out a tire on my new outback while in St Pete. Called AAA and they put the donut on for me. I had to buy a new tire, did that at the dealership in Bradenton. Manny, the service rep that helped me was AWESOME. They did not have the tire in stock so loaned me another outback to use. I appreciated that. However, I was not comfortable while there waiting and doing paperwork. Not all staff or customers wear masks as required (and wise). After the tire was changed, I returned the loaner, I paid and I left. Realized later that they did not put my donut tire back in the secure well. I am short and “older” so I had to ask a friend to do that after a couple of weeks of driving around with it back there. Having the tire in the back prevented me from using the back of my car fully. I think the tech that changed my tire should have put the other one away properly.

Excellent service. Needed to return for another 6month/6,000 mile service in April 2021. I love that the appointment can be made online and Conley follows up with reminders. Even though the construction was still on/ finishing up for Subarus stand-alone sales & service building, and it was busy with Buick customers as well, I was greeted promptly at the drive through service area. The service person wore a mask, confirmed what was being done on my Forester and gave me a time estimate that was correct! The waiting room inside the Buick dealership was too busy to sit down, but I enjoyed walking around and looking at the newer subaru models. I was approached by a young salesman who was pleasant, answered my questions and completely understood I was just looking while my car was being serviced. An A+ rating for Conley Subaru. We have lived here for 11 years and happily bought 2 Subaru vehicles from Conley, a silver Outback and a green Forester. We would not go anywhere else, because of the great service & sales.

I love Conley Subaru. I have purchased 3 Subarus in total from them. Their service department is awesome. But this last visit to get my 6 months service for my car wasn’t as pleasant as usual. They are in the process of renovating their offices & are temporarily sharing space with Conley Buick. This was my first time in this building. The service waiting room did the social distancing with the chairs. Almost everyone waiting wore a mask, but the salesperson walking through did not. I saw at least 5 different salesman walk through without a mask or wearing it under their chin. I was very disappointed in them. Not the quality of service I was used to from Conley Subaru. The service department people themselves wore masks. It was just the men who walked through with Conley shirts on that didn’t wear masks.

We chose Conley Subaru based on online reviews and made the drive down to purchase a new Sienna after getting an out-the-door estimate from Zach in their internet department. Weve had a few bad experiences with other dealerships recently where the price was fat fingered or a typo but that wasnt the case here. When we arrived, Bryan Driscoll quickly brought up the two available options and allowed us to inspect each one. When we decided on one of them, it was to the negotiation table. To our excitement, there were no bad surprises like wed experienced elsewhere. In fact, they actually came back at less than we were quoted/had expected. We were in and out of the dealership in an afternoon, having received a wonderful, honest experience. Id highly recommend them if you are looking for no-nonsense in your vehicle search.

My husband and I were one of the last customers in the showroom on a Friday evening right before they closed, but at no point did we feel rushed or pressured throughout the entire purchasing process. From start to finish-- from the test drive to the closing and delivery of my new car-- we were provided straightforward and professional information while being treated with exceptional customer service. It was my first routine maintenance check.. I came in earlier than my expected appointment but they still took me in. Simply just hand them the keys and sit in the waiting room. They seemed kind of busy and they told me over the phone wait time would be about an hour, but I only waited about 45 mins. No problems as it is a brand new vehicle. The service employee was polite and courteous.

Expect a bad review from all four members of the family. Dont personally ask for a review, if youll get defensive about the poor service you provide. Chris, your response solidifies my point that you have an issue with accountability. You cant lie about the faulty documents, since Subaru National stepped in. The lie about the staff being cursed out is easier to continue, since you wont release the dealerships audio recordings to Subaru National. If you are concerned with defending your staff, prove it with undeniable evidence of their poor treatment by us. However, that would allow Subaru National to listen to the recording about us calling to confirm the deal over a two week period. This is probably why you wont do it and would rather flaunt a lie. If we are truly at fault, whats the worst that can happen? Release the tapes to Subaru National, please. We beg of you. We welcome you to prove us wrong. Let Subaru National do an investigation. Happy New Years!The failure of Chris Conley:We confirmed a car deal, which would have been our third car purchase with Howard, at Conley Subaru for about two weeks on several occasions. The plan was for the dealership to purchase a family member’s out of state vehicle to then sell to us as an official pre-owned Subaru. My sister, husband and daughter were all witnesses on separate occasions to the confirmations of this third deal. When my daughter and I arrived at the dealership, it completely fell through immediately. Since we had confirmed the deal over a two-week period in person and on the phone, my family and I were all a bit confused. Chris proceed to accuse us of stealing the car from our family member. He also claimed that the 2020 drafted power of attorney was a decade old. We invited Chris to converse with Howard about the deal to confirm that my husband and I were telling the truth. We also asked Chris to listen to the dealerships recordings as further proof. These two undeniable sources of evidence were dismissed by Chris. This gave us the impression that he simply did not wish to honor the deal.Interestingly, Subaru National honored the deal without incident. They directed us to another dealership and it was a streamlined process. We even received some Subaru swag in the mail. This is my familys seventh Subaru purchase. Clearly, our patronage is appreciated by the maker, our power of attorney is valid, and we did not steal the car. The issue is Chris ineptitude. I could not imagine someone in upper management keeping their job after accusing customers of being car thieves and using faulty legal documents, unless it is a case of nepotism. A real businessman would be mature enough to recognize their error and apology, which is why Chris has and will not. To be honest, given the impression he gave, I would not expect anything less from Chris Conley.

Not helpful at all. I had been searching for a new car for a few months. I built the exact the car I wanted on the Subaru website and when I saved my search, the site gave me a number. I sent that number to the 2 local Subaru dealerships I was trying to work with, one of which was Zachary at Conley Subaru. The other dealership had no problem looking up that number and seeing the car I was looking for but Zachary at Conley Subaru said he could not look that number up so instead he wanted me to list all the things I wanted in a car...now, I dont know exactly how many different options there are for every new car out there but I do know Subarus have a very, very long list of all the many options for their new cars and it would probably take me a few hours to list all the things I wanted in a car! I was not interested in doing that...especially when I already did that on the Subaru website! I was very surprised at the response I received and I told him how the other Subaru dealership had no issues looking up that number so I guess he wasnt very interested in getting my business. His response was again well if you could tell me what your looking for so at that point I was done wasting my time with Zachary. I did end up buying a pretty, brand new, 2020 Subaru but it was NOT from Conley Subaru!

After a recent visit for service we were disappointed in the fact that none of the staff were wearing face masks. When I inquired, the guy by the door said we have masks if you want one. We had our own. No service staff, salespeople or techs who got in our vehicle had masks on. Noticed one customer in waiting area with a mask. Also a couple took a test drive with a salesman, no masks. I dont know where people have been and who they associate with, but I prefer to err on the side of caution. This is about protecting others, not just ourselves. Havent you heard this yet?We have had a/c service tech as well as pest control people at our home, and they didnt have to ask, they had masks, gloves etc. Very professional. Its about impressions. We love the vehicle, but will have find another dealer for service.

The purchasing of the car was made nice and easy. I live 3 hours away in Davie Florida I bought the car online due to the covid 19 pandemic. I checked the carfaxs everything clean. The car was delivered at night which didnt allow me to fully check the car. The next day after work I checked it again and noticed some rust marks inside of the door I said to myself no big deal. I took it to two body shops they both agreed that the rust is all over the inside body of the car(engine hood etc). The bottom of the car also has alot of rust. I am very concerned with the safety of my family while driving this car. I asked the dealer for a return or an exchange and they wanted to do a trade-in which is not fair. During this pandemic i dont have money to do another trade in. I recommend double and triple checking your car before buying. I would not be buying another car from Conley Subaru. Thank you

The only good thing about this dealership is Howie. Great person, transparent. We chose to buy here because an identical car from another lot had a salesperson who turned us off.All downhill from there. I woke up at 7:30 and spent 7 hours there watching them ignore me as they tried to make more sales. I told them I had a flight to make, all they had to do was send in a document.I will never buy from any Subaru dealership EVER AGAIN because of how unpleasant the experience was. I bought my last car outright, this time I decided to finance. The other employee grilled me with personal questions, accusing me of lying about my income and place of residence. He was incompetent with no customer service. They made me print 3 bank statements, 10 pay stubs, my lease agreement, and provide a home phone line that they would call. When I asked why, he said it’s just policy.It made buying a new car a stressful and sad experience. I hate this dealership.

We had a great experience dealing with Gary Staples from Conley Subaru. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, but you never feel pressured to move faster than you feel comfortable with. This is our second Subaru. We traded in a Ford Fusion and will never have any car except a Subaru from now on. They not only look good, but their safety ratings are the best.

I would never buy a car anywhere else. I literally didnt have to worry about anything through the whole car buying process with Conley. First I spoke to Eric in the Internet sales department who was so nice and extremely helpful. He worked really hard to get me a loan, which I know wasnt an easy task. Not only did he get me approved, but he also got me a fantastic interest rate. He also made sure the car I wanted was set aside because I wasnt able to pick it up for two weeks. Once I got to Conley after driving all the way from Wisconsin, I finished the deal with Jeff in Subaru. He was also very nice and helpful. He sat with me in my new car for literally a half hour or more setting up my Bluetooth and showing me how to use everything and making sure I was comfortable with the features. I have never been so pleased with buying a car. Not only did they work with me on price, but they also gave me more than a fair amount for my trade. Next time Im in the Market for a car, I wont go anywhere but Conley. I drove over twenty hours to do business with them and I would do it again.

Excellent experience.Christian McCain handled the sales end, and transformed my 2015 Outback to my friend while taking care of my purchase of the 2018 Outback. Tom went over the new vehicles systems, and I will be seeing him for a follow up next week. Can honestly say Conley Buick is the most pleasant car purchase we have ever experienced. Pleasant, clean, low pressure and friendly. One particular person was so kind as to actually pick me up and take me to a place that could help me. Who does that these days. Well Conley did on that particular occasion. I had a few email exchanges with Gary when I decided to trade in my two junk cars for something reliable from their pre-owned lot. I warned him that I would rather go to the dentist or give birth without pain killers before stepping foot on another car lot. Thankfully, he has a sense of humor and was undaunted by my negativity.Gary wasnt in on the day I went to the dealership, but Jeff was able to help me out - and was every bit as pleasant and efficient as his initial counterpart. I have no doubt that anyone on the lot would have been able to help me. They are clearly a team.Unlike most other car lots Ive been to, the team at Conley are professional, attentive, and on-the-ball. I went in with a wish list of what I was looking for and my bottom line of what I was looking to pay, and Jeff knew immediately which vehicles I needed to see. There was no meandering around the lot or haggling over sticker prices, nor any pressure to stretch my budget or put more down than I had already agreed to.The process was painless (even the financing), and I would do business with them again in a heartbeat. Another great family run business that really cares for their customers. We had a great purchasing experience for 2 vehicles now, one for our personal use and one for our business. Both departments handled us with care and they were awesome to deal with. Their service department has been great to deal with us as well, and Doug is easy to work with. Definitely recommend these guys, they do a lot for the community as well
