I had my Chevy Malibu serviced here for some collision repair! I had waited almost a month for another dealership to respond, so I decided to check Sunset Cadillac out as they had MANY excellent reviews. They responded with my quote within 12 hours (I emailed them after they closed and they got back to me first thing in the morning). Tom matched my quote from the other dealership, and got me in for the repairs the very next day! They also gave me a brand new Cadillac as a courtesy loaner vehicle! My car was in the shop on Thursday and out on Monday, two days before expected. It was fixed beautifully, washed and they even cleaned the sand out of my trunk! Tom and Timmy took great care of me and my Malibu. This was some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. I will be taking my car to Sunset Cadillac from this point on for any future repairs. Thanks guys!
Literally the best auto body repair work in the universe! The job is pristine and my truck was left sparkling clean! No corner was left unturned at Sunset Collision, from Theresa at the front desk to Jason D. who made it all happen. Somehow he figured out a way to get my parts in the middle if this crazy standstill--talking 2021! These guys stayed on top of every detail and kept me updated along the way. Bought a new truck a few months back but unfortunately the trim was destroyed by birds chewing on the rubber of the window. I brought it to a few places around but pricing and other issues pushed me away and caused me to procrastinate. After hearing of reviews and word of mouth I decided to check out Sunset Collision Center. They were so nice and easy to work with. Fast and proficient on solving my problem and when coming down to numbers and time I immediately agreed and got my truck fixed. The truck turned out phenomenal and would definitely recommend them to anyone who ever needs work done to their vehicle!

The estimate was painless, I was put in a rental car and my car was completed on time. I would highly recommend them for collision repairs and would return.
Work was good. It took them much more than what I expected, considering it is not the first time One of my vehicles needed some cosmetic worked done. One thing I’d recommend their employees (everyone, not a few) is to wear masks at all times at least when clients are inside the buildings. It would have been a 5 star but that really is pity to observe .

Excellent fender repair and paint matching. They were able to repair the damage on the fender rather than replacing it with a new fender which other shops would have done. Saved me $600. They also proved a loaner car while the work was being done.
I got hit pretty hard in my door, front 1/4 panel and a touch of the front. My poor car😢 a week later, you couldnt even tell. If i hadnt been hurt it would all be the same. Car looks fantastic. Like showroom new. Thanks guys!😀

I will never ever use this company again. I took my car here because they were the only option in the area that was covered through the at faults insurance. Sure, the body work looks good...HOWEVER, I had this car a year before I took it to them and my air conditioner was working GREAT before I took it to them. Now it’s over filled and only works occasionally. Not sure why they messed with my air conditioner since that wasn’t anything to do with why my car was there. I also noticed a noise in the front left and took it somewhere to be evaluated and the boot is torn...kinda strange that it sat in their shop for almost 2 months and didn’t have these problems before, but then I get it back and it has these issues. I can’t afford to get either of these issues fixed either, so joke is on them! When I have the money to fix it, I won’t be going back to them. Let’s also talk about how they had my car for almost 2 months....they kept giving me the run around every time I called..”oh it just went into the shop it should be done in 3 days”...called back 5 days later...”oh it just went into the paint shop it should be done in 2 days”....call back 3 days later “oh we needed some extra parts should be done in 3 days”.....and so on and so forth. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TAKE MY CAR TO THIS PLACE! And don’t call and ask how it’s going, because they are rude about it and make you feel like you’re a burden. I’m sorry that I want my car back and I’m tired of driving a rental.
I recently had body work done to my car here. The service was over the top. I was immediately greeted when I walked in to ask for an estimate. In less than 5 minutes I had a service advisor outside with me evaluating my car. I was given a great price with a few options. I made my decision later that day and was able to schedule a appointment for the work within a week. I paid exactly what I was quoted and my car was finished on time. I would return here without hesitation and recommend it to anyone.

This place truly deserves all their stars. My wife was in a rear end collision and had $12,000 worth of damage to our Cadillac. I called Dimmitt thinking that they would take care of us, but they were backed up and wouldn’t even give us a date to bring on our car.We called this place and from the moment we talked to Tom, we knew we were in good hands. He was a true professional. His phone skills, email skills, and people skills in person are top notch. We were willing to drive an hour each direction passing multiple other locations just to take it here because we trusted what he said over the phone. Even though it was an extensive repair, They still hit their delivery date. We were thrilled that everything they did from the service, repair, and to arranging the car rental. The one thing (and it is a small thing) we would suggest Is to better cover the interior of the car while it is being worked on. When we got back into our car there was a lot of dust in the interior. I cleaned it up and she was good as new. The outside and the repairs looked amazing and obviously you can’t tell it was ever in an accident. Truly impressed with the hospitality, service, know-how of these guys and their technicians. I’m picky...and I was Fully satisfied. Go here for True Professionalism. Great job and well done!

I have never had a worse experience with a body shop and I’ve had a lot of experience with different shops. The original repairs were just above $10k. They had the car for 3 months and when I got the car back I shortly had to go have the bumper reattached (screwed it on since the attachments didn’t align) twice- once for each side. While I didn’t think much about it at the time and was just relieved to have my car back, it was what wasn’t visible that was disastrous.3 months after picking up my car it had to go back to a different body shop. There was almost $10,000 in damage that had to be fixed between the original damage and what hadn’t been fixed correctly. I have never seen so many pen marks denoting damage on a vehicle that hadn’t been claimed as totaled. There were brackets cut off to force parts to fit together. There were paint lines. There were holes drilled that shouldn’t have been there. The unibody has not been straightened. Sensors had not been aligned. There were gaps in the welds that had allowed water inside the car (the ultimate sign there was something wrong was due to the smell and mold spores). And many more. Needless to say, the car was compromised if I had been rear ended again.We were also informed that there were other vehicles being fixed from incomplete work by sunset at the body shop we went to.I will add that every time we were in contact with sunset we were treated as though it was our fault that this had happened. We were never treated respectfully and there was never once a sincere apology. The apology we received was very scripted and unattached. We were given a loaner car with a radio that didn’t turn on and then a loaner that was displaying an engine light. We had to get a loaner vehicle from the main dealership since the body shop was not giving us a vehicle that we felt safe driving.On top of everything, the owners of the dealership where it was ultimately fixed had to call the owners of sunset to inform them that their body shop was not paying the bill when the car was complete, causing an additional delay to picking up my car.My advise to the insurance company is to immediately remove this body shop from their preferred list.My advise to consumers is to please do your research before choosing a body shop even if it is recommended by your insurance company.

I took my car in on a Monday for repair for rearend damage it suffered in an accident.The rearend alignment was very bad from the accident. I was told my car would be ready in 2 days. And I got a rental car. On day 3, when I called to check on the status, I was told that the first rearend panel didnt fit right and so they ordered another one. When my car want finished by Friday, I had to keep the rental car through the weekend as the collision shop was closed until the next Monday. . On the next Monday morning I made several calls to the shop for information about when my car would be done. In the meantime, the car rental company calls me to advise that my insurance would not continue to pay and that I would have to return the rental car by 7pm that evening. I received no call back from the commission center, so I drove over in the rental. Come to find out that my cat EA stil not done that the alignment wasnt done until 11am 8 days later and it took them another hour to clean it up and get it ready for me to take home. I sat at the collision center for 2 hours waiting.The work seems to have been ok. But they are short on mechanics and painters. I will not go to this collision center ever again. Would not recommend.
Tropical Collision Center had my car for a month. Howard told me to come in at 4:30 on a Friday,to pick it up and had conveniently left for the day when I got there. No one else was there to go over the car with me. The receptionist told me that when they put the chrome piece on the grill Monday, we could go over any problems. Lies.Not only is there new damage to the rear of the car but also extra miles on the odometer.Who was driving my car while it was there?? The fog light brackets and casings dont match. The dash board is lit up like x-mas. And for whatever reason, they changed to screws that hold the license plate on. What the hell did they remove it for in the first place??? The car is in terrible condition and the work ethics are hideous. I am very disappointed and am still trying to get them to fix my car. They are not interested in repairing these issues since they already got paid. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!!!!

Worst customer service ever. they broke parts inside my truck and left them for me when all the work was on the outside. i found items i had locked inside my truck removed. also they replaced a tie rod on the right side and now driving the truck pulls to the right and they blamed the tires. Since i didnt return all smiles they keep saying they didnt like my angry attitude. As for washing all cars repaired and buffing minor scratches dont bring them a truck they only added to my scratches with a 30 inch scratch from front thru drivers side door. Mikes comments was everyone makes mistakes.

Quality service reasonable timing
This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had buying a car. No pressure, and our salesman Roy was so friendly and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable.
Tropical repaired our car, which we bought from them only a few months before, after it was severly damaged in an accident. It was a complicated job, including replacement of parts of the frame. The insurance company should have totalled it, in my opinion. It took a while, but we had a replacement car the whole time. The paint work (silver color) was flawless. The car made a couple of unwanted noises after the repair, but Tropical tracked them down and fixed them. I would absolutely recommend them for any work you need.

Door they repaired doesnt shut properly. Doors dont line up properly. Loud wind noise when driving. They broke the kick plate. Apparently, they have no intention of fixing issues, as they wont return my calls. Progressive, the at fault drivers insurance, paid them for the repair, before I signed off, ( I have never signed off), so neither company cares.

They have been with the car for more than 1 month and two weeks saying that they are painting it and trying to put used parts on them every time I call they have a new excuse and that the rear bumper was not the correct one, I hope they fix the chassis because it was bent, it seems that it is not They realized they have a bad service and a terrible customer service, we did not get anyone to attend us in Spanish inside the offices or by phone until a few days ago and just to tell me that my car has not yet been able to paint because the parts that they bought did not serve him. And I spent more on Uber plus what they want to charge me, I hope they dont charge me more for all the expenses they have caused me with their delays
