Chris Copeland saved the day! Without his flexibility, we would have been helpless out of state travelers with unexpected car troubles. We called nearly 10 other places but none of them were willing to squeeze us in. Chris was beyond patient with our emergency, and he made time for us even though Billion was clearly very busy. Chris never insinuated that we were inconvenient, and he always remained understanding and willing to help. Another key person was Ry, who seems to be an excellent and competent mechanic. We spoke with him about the truck and he offered helpful advice and feedback.We can’t speak highly enough of how Chris managed the situation. I was referred to Randy at Billion Auto Group in Bozeman for good reason. Randy was low key, no pressure- just helpful. I was driving a 2002 Yukon and it was time to downsize and move into this decade. Randy was very knowledgeable of their inventory, available models and product but was purposeful in asking what I wanted instead of showing me all they had. I appreciated that because I get overwhelmed with too many choices. He found just what I wanted and I am a happy new GMC Acadia owner!

Terrible used car experience with them. They do not do well work inspecting the car or fixing it. I had to sell my car 3 months after I got it from them after I spent about 2K on top of the selling price . do not trust them on used cars and take the car to be inspected by another car mechanics

Good service. NISSAN XTERRA. Somewhat fair priced for an extensive repair. Staff were professional. Repair was done very quickly. The mechanic did find a cracked air intake and replaced that too. Over all the service was good. Price stung abit but seemed generally inline with other repairs shops. I would recommend them if you have a major NISSAN repair issue.

We were pulling a 5th wheel and our GMC 2009 1 ton truck broke down in West Yellowstone. We did an online search for a certified GMC dealer and had the truck towed to Billions. Service Rep Kevin and his staff were excellent; getting us back on the road ASAP by fitting us in there schedule. It was towed in on Monday and Friday we were back on the road. The part had to be ordered out of Denver. Excellent service. We highly recommend Billions.

It saddens me to leave a 2 star review especially since I have received excellent service from the service department and have gotten some great help from one of the managers in the finance department. However I am trying to purchase a vehicle under some difficult circumstances and my salesman (Lyle) really didn’t put forth any effort whatsoever. Twice tried to convince me not to purchase a vehicle because he didn’t think I would get financing. It wasn’t until I explained that JC Billions own financing department said it might be possible that he told me “well i suppose I can put forth some effort”. Are you kidding me? I need help and this guy isn’t taking me seriously because he doesn’t think there’ll be a paycheck in it for him. If it weren’t for Brandon in the finance department I would have written JC Billion off completely. I’m waiting to hear from another salesman and we’ll see if he wants to help or hinder. LAST CHANCE JC BILLION!! Please don’t let me down again? I would hate to have to find another dealership.

Vehicle broke down in Yellowstone Park, managed to limp it to JC Billion and they were able to get it diagnosed and fixed within an hour (faulty O2 sensor). Obviously I was a bit lucky they weren’t overly busy but still the team members there were extremely friendly and efficient. I really appreciate the awesome service after a horrible day.

I took my 2000 Dodge Durango to service Department to have 2 hours of diagnostic work done on the electrical system. The tech was able to determine the source of the problem which was a plug into the ecm. I rescheduled a time to have the work completed at a later date, thinking I possibly would have time to complete the repair. The total at this point was around $160. This was on a Saturday, I was not able to pick the rig up until Sunday. On Sunday I found the rig completely dead, and had to buy jumper cables to get it home. I also found the plug they said was bad completely broken apart by the tech, which it was not before. Another plug into the ecm was now also broken. I called that day and left a message about my frustrations with no response. In written and verbal communication I voiced my expectations that they fix at there own cost, what the tech broke. Well to my dismay they ignored my requests and left me with a bill of $500 with one plug still broken. I usually can come to a reasonable agreement in these type of situations but Chris and Tara who I dealt with would not budge. They also could not produce the original part that they claimed was broken. So I own jumper cables I do not need and have a broken plug that according to their costs would be $300 to replace. I also have a check engine light that is still on. There was no concern that I was satisfied, only that I understood why they were right. I also had to call myself to find out the vehicle was complete.Thoughts to help you make an informed decision on whether to take your vehicle here. Hope this helps.

I ordered a pickup in August and picked it up in November. I felt no pressure through the process and am very happy with the whole experience. There was a small issue we had to work through the day I picked up the vehicle and they handled it brilliantly.I hope they keep the small town mentality for the long-term...it matters.

I was at the GMC building working with service with my husband for awhile today. The entire time I was there there was a salesperson with a customer both not wearing a mask. People I assume the management were in an office by the main part of the building all not wearing masks. Lots of people in and out of the office not wearing a mask. As someone who has family at high risk this is disturbing. I will be telling my family and reporting this to the health department. We are in a pandemic. The actions taken by staff are appalling.

GMC side of the dealership – service reps are great, service work in the shop not so much. Had multiple issues with the quality of work. Seems they need more training and supervision to ensure the outcome. They don`t stand behind their work, so triple check when picking up your vehicle.Good thing Bozeman has some options regarding servicing your GM vehicle.

3rd time was not a charm.. had the same vehicle into service dept for repair..for the same thing 3 times in less then a month.. Never repaired the problem.. but did get over nearly a $ 1,000 in repairs done. or at least I was charge for those repairs.... So, we now have had 4 tow charges on top of the costs that were charged for repairs done that were not necessary and the repair that was didnt get fixed. They finally said that it was over our head so we sent it to the ford dealership Hoping the 4th time is a charm .. car being towed to the Ford Dealership...

11/23/13: Nissan maintenance department charged $4013.97 to fix the heater. The car is a 2002 Altima. Ran great but no heat. Several weeks (more than a month) after the car was dropped off, we were told it needed a top end job and labor came to $1,933.50. ??? The experience soured me on Billion Auto Group. Never going back.

Beware of dealerships that dont list a price. JC Billion listed a vehicle I was interested in and as usual they did not show their asking price. I clicked on the get Eprice quote. The Email reply came back that they could not give me one because they were having some kind of inventory reduction sale. Ok, so my wife was in town so I called and had her stop by. She had KBB trade in values and resale values for the vehicle + options in hand from me. She knows her stuff because weve been looking for awhile. They said they were selling vehicles for nearly what they had into them, their bank value. Still, they would not give her a price unless she test drove it. Whatever, so she drove it and it still took 15minutes to give her a quote. My wife was rendered speechless when they came back with an obscene value that was $5000 over the average KKB list price for this vehicle. And, they had the gall to tell her that she was getting a good deal because it was worth $2000 more than that. She turned and walked away when they began badgering her about what she thinks it was worth. When she quoted them the average trade in value they delayed some more and came back with the average KBB listing price. Sorry, at that point the insult was just too much. These people border on predatory sales practices. This was at least first order BS. Avoid these shysters like the plague.

I received a recall on my jeep liberty 2004,took the vehicle to JC BILLION Bozeman Montana .They said that it will take a few hours, dropped it off there, and called to see if it was fixed, the girl at the desk said: Your vehicle should be ready by tomorrow, I asked her to check my transmission fluid, later she called and told me my vehicle needs rotors, and pinion seals and they will order them and my water pump all around $1,800,I said fix the rotors and the seals and asked about the price she said $523.So I said ok put new parts in and when will it be done, she said today, it took 2 days and a half for the recall and the other parts to be put in, second day she called me and said all is ready to go .I went to pay and pick up my car, I drove off the road a block away and noticed the mirrors don’t move, and pulled over and checked no sign of life there, I called the same girl, she said bring it back to see, later she said no burned fuses, we are unable to find out and you need to make another appointment, I was not happy and told her I damn got the car fixed now, she said NOT our fault,co-incident,bring it in another time and we check it out for you, I SAID THE MIRRORS WERE FINE ALL THE TIME AND all OF A SUDDEN THEY DON’T MOVE,SHE DIDN’T RESPOND,I TOOK OFF,AND WAS VERY PISSED,,You bring your car in and trust them and then later they mess up your vehicle and yet ask you again to come for another appointment right after waiting 2 days and a half after I came back from work, what the heck is their problem, do they think I have nothing to do in life but keep pouring my money on their stupid shop??These people have no responsibility but SCAM people to go into their stupid shop and milk your money; I am so pissed and would definitely give them QUARTER OF A STAR for their stupid ignorance. Two reasons for not being a zero star review. A, they do deliver the car if needed for free. B, Zero is not an option. They lied about what needed to be done, they were horrific with their communication, they took longer than they said they would, more than once. They also did unapproved work on the vehicle, and they way overcharged for said work. Go to Small Car out in Belgrade before pulling in here! #runlikehell #neveragain

*edit* thank you, the owner reached out to my husband. they have been friendly and are helping with a large portion of our mechanic costs. we just had bad luck! We just bought a suv here. Everything seemed pretty smooth until our car fell apart within a few weeks of buying it :( (transfer case) I guess we just have bad luck cause honestly the next person test driving the vehicle at billion it couldve happened to so now of course we wish we hadnt rushed into buying another car. I guess we assumed there might be a 30 day warrenty or something. This is our first time buying from a dealership and now I just feel like my car is unsafe and well have two babies in it but i guess that couldve happened to anybody! However it just hasnt been the best first experience buying from a dealership for us and its been costing more than we anticipated. I dont have other dealerships to compare to so like I said maybe we just have bad luck and theres nothing against them but its a huge bummer! :(
