Fantastic buying experience for an out of town buyer! All information I needed was provided before I left on my drive to pick up a brand new motorcycle.Jeff and Taylor had everything ready when I arrived so paperwork went very quick. My new motorcycle was loaded, tied down and I was back on the road in thirty minutes.The bike was cleaned up prior to delivery and met every expectation a new bike should. Great bunch of moto enthusiasts to work with.

Very pleased with my experience buying a new dirtbike at Summit! Worked with both Taylor and Rich. They were both very helpful and pleasant people to work with. I also rented a SxS from summits rental shop this summer and took the family out for a day in the mountains. The rental was very affordable and fun! Simply because of their great employees, I will give Summit my business in the future and also recommend to all.

We rented 3 snowmobiles from Summit Motor Sports and have an awesome experience. Mike was friendly, helpful, and just a pleasure to deal with! He was so easy going and his attitude just made it fun.We have rented before from other places, in other states, but this was by far the best experience weve had ! I would highly recommend anyone to use them for any snowmobile or side by side rentals. I would rate them higher if I could !We will definitely use them again.

We rented 3 side by sides for the family today. Awesome experience with the exception that my son tip one relatively easily hitting the gas too hard and turning the wheel. Insurance deductible is $2k but Mike and Ashley are doing their best to minimize cost. Hoping to update to 5 stars after we see how things end up.

Holy Moly this place is so awesome. Went in to purchase a KTM Duke and the sales staff was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions. The service and parts department gentleman even chatted with me about upgrades I wanted to do. Jeff was very easy to deal with, the purchase was fast and everyone was so nice. I was laughed at by an employee which was completely unprofessional, doubly so given the circumstances.I had issues with one of my bikes, they werent great about helping with.Mid day, I was asked to come back another day, I perceived during the long wait because a high spending customer was in the store.I wanted to buy a newer bike ($10-15k range) after they sorted things out, but I just left after that.I hopped on the internet, and bought the bike I was interested in from another dealer several years newer and many miles less for hundreds cheaper despite freight costs of close to a grand.I have had better experiences with Blitz getting odds and ends. Id rather see them.

I called numerous times inquiring about a motorcycle they had listed on their website. Most times my call was never answered. Finally after speaking with a salesman I was advised they had the motorcycle I was interested in but it was not built yet. No big deal, he stated he would call me when the bike was built so i could come down. That was weeks ago, I never received a call back. I ended up purchasing the motorcycle elsewhere. It is unfortunate they care so little that they could not be bothered to call me back to say the bike was either built or unavailable. I was ready to purchase, but they were not interested.

The middle of March 2021. My wife and I stopped to get some last minute things for our Skidoo sleds... I noticed a used sled, which I called the sales department several times about. 2 of my friends called on the same sled which is still on the website. Another skidoo that I was also interested was removed. To this Date NOT ONE OF THEIR SALES STAFF HAS CALLED ANY OF US BACK. I HAVE CALLED AT LEAST 5 TIMES ON THIS SLED PERSONALLY AND SENT 2 DIFFERENT TEXT MESSAGES. STILL NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK... I PERSONALLY WONT STOP AGAIN.

Genuine and great service. My girlfriend ended up falling off her ATV and doing some damage to the vehicle. It wasnt too bad a bent handlebars and some cracked plastic, but another rental company could have come after me for a bunch of money. Mike the owner was kind and did the repairs in house and gave me a fair cost to repair the damage. I will be a life long customer and would recommend these guys to anyone.Thanks again Mike!!

Great dealership, everyone is polite and willing to help and the employees want to give you the best deal. They even let you do test rides longer than 20 miles.If you want to do financing they even try to stay local and go through local credit establishments while giving you the best rates.Bought a used 2017 bike, noticed an issue, had it brought in, and they said theyd take care of it no problem.

We called and made reservations over the phone. Ashley handed that and talked over the details with us about the insurance and paying the rentals. Drove in to pick up the trailer with 2 4 wheelers and 1 side by side. Mike helped us hook the trailer up to our truck, made sure we new how to use everything as we were beginners mostly but have used similar equipment in other circumstances. They fitted us with helmets, talked frankly with our teenagers about what to be careful of and how to be safe with the equipment. Ashley went over the best trails to go on, made sure to indicate areas that werent safe to ride, and sent us on our way. The equipment was good. They provided a cooler for our lunch items. The trails were fun, but definitely rough in places, due to all the rocks, so be prepared for that and a dusty ride while on the gravel. They were great to work with from start to finish and we would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to rent equipment like this. It was a fun experience during our stay in Big Sky in June 2019!

OMG these guys saved my bacon! I was having an issue with my bike while traveling and they helped me out IMMEDIATELY and got me back on the road right away. I cant say enough good things about them. I wasnt there to purchase a vehicle, but they had a HUGE selection - KTMs, Huskies, 4x4s. I was super impressed and highly recommend them.

Zero customer service. Didn’t get so much as a glance from any employee while I wandered the store aimlessly for 10-15 minutes. I thought perhaps I was overreacting but other reviews are right in line with my experience. Pretty sad no one was willing to answer my questions and potentially take my money. Also, not a single employee was wearing a mask!! FYI Summit...we’re still living in a pandemic. Would go less than one star if I could.

The inventory here is really large for the area, definitely have a great variety of color options and gear in general. We traveled to Bozeman from Iowa and wanted to go snowmobiling in the mountains. We rented a two person snowmobile from Summit and couldn’t be happier. To start the owners were amazing. Mike and his daughter Ashley run a top notch rental company and are super nice and helpful. They set us up with a brand new sled that was great and gave us perfect directions and instructions. We couldn’t have been happier with the service or snowmobile. Look no further if you want good local people that will treat you right.

Worst service Tech ever!!! took my KTM450EXc into summit motorsports for a simple tune up. He told me it would be 3 weeks out. Thats fine, but they left my bike sitting outside in the sun fading the plastics. The service manager told me he needed the air filter to continue working. I told them I lived far away and could this be done that day if I drove there to drop it off. He had confirmed it would be fixed that day. waited all day for them to call back never got a phone call back from the service manager. After calling them multiple times I was able to talk with the guy he had informed me that they were having an issue with my carb that they had never seen before and were gonna try and swap a old carb from a different bike and if that didnt work hed call back about pricing a new one. Service manager never called back. After i messaged him he finally returned my call telling me they COULDNT fix my KTM. This is going on week 5 with no bike and no hope of them even fixing it so I told them to stop trying to work on my bike im coming to take it to a different shop that know what theyre doing. Got the bike home and started working on it myself pulled the gas tank off and realized that it was gummed up cleaned it out put new gas in and ran fine no tools required...dont know where theyre hiring these so called bike mechanics but Id never go back... thanks summit motorsports.

Great customer service is lacking. I hate to write this. Rich on a number of occasions would tell me that he would get back to me about my inquiries. He did not once keep his word. I was a serious buyer and couldnt ever get ahold of anyone at the store. When do you ever think its right to treat people with such disrespect. Motorsports is more than just riding its a community of people that want good experiences.

Bought a brand new bike here years ago.. it’s not the same in any way. This visit I was looking to buy 4 side by sides for my family. Visited the store in four corners.. could not even get a hello or a meet and greet during my 20 minutes inside and outside the store. Although I did see a man sitting bs with someone about weekend plans and such. I passed him 4 times he never made eye contact or even acknowledged I was there. I watched as another potential customer left at the same time as he grumbled to me “I guess they are just too busy” sarcastically I assume. Sometimes things don’t always work and maybe the dealership was very busy elsewhere in the back or whatever the circumstances maybe.. Still I wanted to call and let them know my experience and make an appointment to actually be helped. I called a Rich answered and I asked for the GM and was met with why I needed him or his name.. crazy to be met with that but hey.. I left a message for Jeff but never received a call back. I guess you can’t expect good service from a sales department when the leader of the store doesn’t return calls. While I don’t enjoy leaving poor reviews especially for local small businesses but.. I couldn’t get service on site or even a return call.. so hopefully this is noticed and will help them improve their store’s approach to customer service. I was able to locate and buy what I wanted. Sadly, I will need to drive a few hours tomorrow but I am getting what I originally set out to buy at Summit that ultimately lead to this review.

This review is not on the rentals but on the service department. I had a recall on my bike made an appointment, doped my bike off. A month later I found out they haven;t even ordered the part. I had to call the company which issued the recall to fast track a part. If they had been clear I would have brought my bike in sooner, but they just told me to drop off my bike on the date and they would take care of it. It was winter I was not riding, It should not take three month fore a recall even when the manufacturer back ordered the item.

It appears to me that the motorbike sales and the rental business may be separate entities operating under the same roof.Our group of 4 rented atvs over the course of several days and could not have been happier with the vehicle performance or the customer service.Ashley and Mike took their time with us, offering detailed responses to every inquiry.We hope to visit Summit Motor Sports again soon!

I was on a cross country trip and stranded. My 2002 Suzuki Intruder VS800 temp sensor quit...my fan wasnt working when it got hot. These guys called around, couldnt get the part that day but ran to the parts store and wired a toggle switch to my handle bars so I could turn my fan on manually, enough to get me back cross country. It was very reasonable, extremely quick and very friendly service.Top Quality!!

July 29th 2019 (incredible customer service!)I’m currently on a cross country road trip towing my Dr 650 from Miami Florida and I laid the bike down a few times while adventuring through the back country. On two separate occasions my clutch snapped and the second time my cable broke making the bike inoperable. Instead of having to wait for new parts to arrive, which could of delayed my trip significantly Mike and the manager Jeff agreed to let me take the parts off of their in house Suzuki Dr 650 and fix the issue on the spot. I have to say that this not only saved me time and money to have to sit around and wait for my bike to be fixed but this is the best customer service I could have possibly received on my journey. I’m now thinking to turn my DR in for a KTM or Husqy and if I choose to do that I will be sure to travel back in from Miami to pick up my bike. The alpine riding here is incredible and I have a new found love for the town because of the amazing people I’ve met here at Summit. Thank you so much for making my trip a memorable one and for keeping me moving on the trails.

I dropped off my sled on January 28, 2019 to get a tune-up and have my sled gone through. There was an issue with the Service Manager being out of the office so another manager told me that he was pulling double duty. I was originally quoted one week but that turned into over two weeks. I was told that this particular delay was due to the Service Department being short staffed.On February 12, 2019, I paid $536.92 and I was told that my sled had been serviced and tuned up. The manager apologized for the delay and reported that my sled had been tuned up, was running great and my compression was at 120 (which is good).The manager told me that I did have a problem with my tune pipe and that it would cost $700 to fix it. He told me that my sled was running great and the tune pipe would hardly make a difference. He advised me to ride it for the season and deal with the tune pipe at a later date or next season. This made sense to me and I took his advice.I brought my sled home and pulled it out of the trailer and covered it up. A day or two later I was able to take it out for a test drive. Immediately I started having issues with the gauges going haywire and my sled was not getting proper power. I had just picked it up from a full tune up a week earlier and now I was having a totally different set of problems.I called the Service Department and was told that I probably had a bad key. They explained that a bad key could be the source of the problem because it was just in the shop a few days earlier getting a full checkup. I brought my sled by and they programmed it in the parking lot. After the key was programmed my gauges were still going haywire and it was not getting proper power. Another manager came out and they both decided that it was best for me to leave my sled there to get re-diagnosed.After waiting another 2 weeks I emailed the Service Department and asked for an update. The Service Manager told me that I now had an issue with the Stator and the Clutch. He estimated the work to be around $1500 on top of the $700 tune pipe issue that I still needed to fix. I had just paid $536.92 to have them go through my sled, fix problems and tune it up and they did not find anything wrong with the stator or clutch at that time.The Service Manager told me this was a lot of money to spend and I agreed. He asked what I wanted to do and I asked if he would help me sell it or buy it from me. I told him I wanted to get my money back for the tuneup, the new seat I just had installed as well as the ice scratchers I had installed during the tune-up.He said that there was value in the sled as a whole or if it was parted out. He told me he needed to check with his boss but he would get back to me with a solution.Today is April 12, 2019. I first dropped off my sled on January 28, 2019. I have missed the entire snow season and I still do not have a viable solution for my sled.

I took my c.f. moto600 in to have an oil change and safety check as I had a loud Klunk in the rear .to make a long story short .they forgot to check the tire that was clunking, but I found the problem and brought it to there attentions. They apologized and gave me part of my service money back .

Worst service ever, live an hour out of town called to see if they had parts they said yes drove in and they didnt have them, 1st trip, second trip just brought them the bike and was told it would be a 4 month turn around. Brought my Suzuki here for its 1st servicing at 600 miles. After riding it home the bike lost all power and would not start, leaving me stuck. Luckily I was near a friends place, we looked over the bike apart and found that they had neglected to securely reattach the main body harness and it had jiggled loose. They denied any responsibility and stated I dont know what you want us to do. Could have been a very dangerous mistake if the bike would have cut out at the wrong time. Disappointed with the lack of accountability with the service staff. Will not be returning again.

Summit motorsports took really good care of me when I went in to buy a Kawasaki Z900 street bike. The guy Rich their sold me the bike with no pressure and with the most amount of respect. The entire process was very smooth and easy which I really enjoyed because myself work at Ressler Motors selling cars and I really like the fact that their way of doing business is similar to Ressler. It is very open and honest and they truly only care about giving the customer the best service possible. I highly recommend buying all of your outdoor motor bikes etc. from Summit in the future.
