We just picked up our new RZR Trail Ultimate and could not be happier. Ethan was great to work with from start to finish. He is very knowledgable wants to make sure that you are aware of everything, but is not pushy like many salesmen can be. He communicates well and really went above and beyond for us with every aspect of our purchase. I highly recommend Gallatin Recreation and will continue to use them.

Fixed my quad and saved me a ton of money.

This place has terrible customer service. I have bought two brand new snowmobiles here over several years, choosing to purchase locally and support a local business instead of going elsewhere, even though it would have saved me money. I had hoped that by purchasing here, if I ever needed service or support they would be friendly and helpful.Every time I have been in here to buy standard parts or accessories the employees act like I am inconveniencing them. I crashed my snowmobile at the end of the season and needed to get an insurance quote to get it fixed. I dropped the machine off in May, and it sat in their lot for 4 months without anyone looking at it. The last time I stopped by to check on it the employee was extremely rude to me, and told me they probably would not look at it for several more months, but he couldnt tell me for sure when. This is the same employee that had personally sold me the snowmobile. I ended up picking up the machine and taking it to the Polaris dealership in Butte. Their service department was very busy as well, but they were able to schedule a service date when I dropped it off, and they performed the work on time, I had the quote about two weeks later.I think the only reason this place stays in business is because Polaris products pretty much sell themselves. I will gladly travel elsewhere in the future to be treated like my business is appreciated and get real customer service.

I have been very impressed by the new management and staff at Gallatin Recreation, the Polaris Dealer in Bozeman.Also, I am looking forward to seeing the changes that come from the new directions and obvious rekindled passion.Its great to see an long established, foundational Bozeman business reinvent themselves in tremulous, changing times.

I had a ruptured brake line on my Victory Vision. Scott and Jason fixed my brake line for a very reasonable price. They loaned me a motorcycle to go into town while I waited for my motorcycle to be repaired. They were very welcoming and friendly. I would not hesitate at all to use this dealership again. I wish that they were closer to home.

Nobody would talk to me so I cant rate the shop. My second experience here was way better Shane was an excellent salesman and very good at explaining the options on the different razors. I would definitely send anybody to talk to Shane.

My husband and I have bought 6 machines over the last 4 years from Gallatin Recreation. They have always been helpful, professional and fun. Whenever we have needed service or had a question they all have been willing and able to help. They have been exceptional with getting our machines in to the shop and fixing the problem if there was a problem. Although, Polaris machines are amazing and we would not buy anything else or from anyone else. Whenever my husband and I go in for anything we are always treated well...beyond well. If we are going in to buy parts, helmets or other gifts whomever is working is ALWAYS willing to help in any way they can and they are all super friendly. Im not the easiest person to deal with and they all are amazing with my strong personality. Gallatin Recreation is the best place to buy an off road machine!

When the special order tool was not needed they took it back no problem and gave me a 100% refund. great service

Based on the other reviews on this place I am unsurprised by the experiences we have had here, today will be our last. Do not even bother going here. Hands down the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I would be particular with names but it has been every single employee. The staff are unfriendly, outright rude, unhelpful, completely incompetent and overall seem to hate that they have to interact with anyone. They also do not seem to know what they are doing or talking about. Our first experience here they gave us the wrong part, we live an hour away, we brought it back and they had to order us another one. Never received a sincere apology. We had a general tune up they couldnt even bother to show us where they had it when we came to pick it up. Then today, we had ordered two things to pick up. We arrived and were rudely greeted, then after 15 minutes they informed us they had sold one of our items they offered to give us what we ordered but wed have to take it somewhere else and pay to have it assembled...for their mistake. Again, no sincere apology. We will happily drive the extra distance to a different Polaris dealer. This place is terrible and I do not recommend going here for any reason.

Jason has always gone above and beyond for us, I highly recommend using your local dealer as they will get you taken care of if and when issues arise!

My experience at Gallatin Recreation was awesome! I purchased a new polaris axys snowmobile and the salesman Shane was very knowledgeable about everything you need to know. The service was great from Scott and Jason and they take care of you and get you back riding in the mountains in no time. No waiting on parts for your stuff. The service is second to none!

Great people and they alwaya donate

I cannot speak for buying a new unit here but over the last 2 years I have taken my rangers here for maintenance. The shop is always way over booked or understaffed because they are always two weeks out.. for something as simple as a 15 min. Throttle Positioning Sensor reset they wouldnt even work me in..( I called a dealer in Wyoming during my trip and he said swing in.. he was done in 8 min and didnt even charge me.) Ive been told numerous times, It should be done in a day or two then a week later I call them and they say O it must have slipped by we havent even got it in yet After spending about $3500.00+ Here a year on maintenance my giving second chances are about done.

The best ATV buying experience I have had to date. The worst parts experience I have also had to date. Very disappointed with the front staff. I ordered a plow for my ATV, they told me 4-5 days I could expect it to be in. Came back 1 week later to see if my parts are in and they tell me the part is 2 weeks to a month backordered. During his time while Im leaving the dealership, I see a guy pull out of the dealership with same exact plow brand new and part that I am waiting for. Very disappointed in the parts service timeline they gave me. Not a patient person. I aspect parts to come in when they tell the costumer a date no matter what the company or business.

Have purchased several machines from GR over the years. Their commitment to customer service is top notch.

I have had them work on all my atvs and snowmobiles since they opened and have always been 100% satisfied. I used to have to drive 80 miles to get work done befor they opened the previous Polaris dealer was worthless.

We have used them several times since they are the only Polaris dealer in the area. Constantly frustrating experience. Hard to find someone to talk to, even harder to find someone who can help. Poor communication when you order something. Overall an unprofessional place.
