Finding a vehicle right now is challenging! I found a used Toyota Sienna online that fit the bill of what I was looking for, and drove up from Nashville to drive it. Made an appointment with service to get a few recalls fixed on my car. I brought the car in and after an hour they come and say that only 1 recall was fixed, and they have to order the part for the other one. Shouldn’t you check if you have the part before having the customer come in? Inefficient use of my time and gas money. Not impressed.

This was my first time ever buying a car, and I was terrified going in as a single female! Id heard all the horror stories and did all the research about negotiating and doing the dance with car dealers, but Courtney Miller made the process absolutely painless! It was so easy and even downright pleasant. I live in Nashville, and she helped me to do most of the process through e-mail and over the phone, so that I only had to drive to Bowling Green once when I picked up my new car. I had talked to several dealerships around Nashville before I connected with Courtney, and she was the only salesperson who actually gave me straightforward answers when I asked them. I felt very comfortable with her, and she kept me up to date throughout the entire process (I had to order my car and wait for it to be built and shipped). This was also the only dealership that didnt mark their cars up insanely high during this whole chip shortage--every other dealership I spoke with was charging a $2000-5000 addendum fee just because cars are in high demand right now. I can not speak more highly of Toyota of Bowling Green and Courtney or recommend them enough--it was truly the best car-buying experience I could have imagined!

My wife and I were in the market for a new Highlander last month. I contacted 15 dealers within a 150 mile radius of our home, and was clear with our must haves and nice to haves. Jenn OBrien was quick to respond, and was straightforward in answering my questions. Several other dealers were not as straightforward and direct, which was disappointing.The pricing was fair, especially considering that other dealers had huge documentation fees, as well as market adjustments given the current status of new and used car inventory across the country. Toyota of BG had one of the lowest doc fees, and absolutely no market adjustment. In the end, we paid MSRP less the rebate that Toyota was offering at the time.The finance process was very simple given that we paid cash. We were asked once if we wanted any additional coverages or warranties, which we declined, and were on our way. Im sure I can answer yes to one of those robo calls about an extended warranty if I do want coverage. =)In all, I really appreciated Jenn and everyone that we interacted with at the dealership. There was a young man that greeted us (I did not catch his name), and he had to have been one of the most genuinely happy people Ive ever met at a dealership.

Very bad service, they told me that my tires could not be repaired and would have to be replaced. When I asked me to return the old tires, they gave me the wrong tires. The next day I went to the discount tire and they said there was nothing wrong with our tires, so I changed my old tires and continued to use them. And then I called the dealer and I want return it，for safety reasons, its dangerous because the wear on the sides is different, so usually people replace four or two tires. I pointed out that the lady in after-sales service was unprofessional because they had recommended a new tire without checking it at all. Cody, the manager of the car shop, was very tough. He said that the car shop only recommended one new tire, and he asked me if I was angry because they didnt recommend two new tires. Their utter lack of concern for the professionalism of their staff leads me to suspect that they tempt customers to buy new tyres and then sell the old ones elsewhere.

Ive always used Toyota of bowling in the past to services my Lexus and have always had no complaints. However the last two times I was in for an oil change the cap wasnt fasted correctly which caused issued than the last time they had my car all of ten minutes to replace the oil . I thought it was weird that they could replace it so quickly so I decided to have someone else bowling green imports look to see if they had done the work and I was told 100 percent sure no my oil had not been changed. I went back to Toyota and spoke with a younger manager and told them if I couldnt count on them to do the work after being a valuable customer for years than Id have to take my business elsewhere. The manager told me good for you, you can go elsewhere and that my buseness wasnt needed.

We just purchased a 2021 Toyota Sienna with the help of Courtney. I highly recommend this dealership! Im an hour and a half of a drive away but the decision making and purchasing process was so simple and quick. We drove up once to test drive a Sienna and once to sign papers and pick up the vehicle. Courtney stayed in communication throughout the process of the dealership finding a van with all the options we wanted so we knew about how long the vehicle would take to come in. It was only about a 2-week period from test drive to vehicle ownership. We had an idea of what we wanted and appreciated that we werent presented with a sales pitch on anything. I looked online and found a vehicle I wanted on a Sunday and Courtney reached out on her day off and scheduled a test drive for Monday morning. When I got there Monday she was already there and she told me what I wanted sold already. But she offered to show me some others. So I test drove but had to leave for work. Through emails and text she answered all my questions and provided answers for everything. When I returned after work I was greeted by Jenn. She was all about making sure you knew all the perks of buying from Toyota. It definitely helped to know this company backs every vehicle they sell. Typical stealership service department. Took my Scion in for an alignment, fully expecting to need some parts replaced, since it had 285,000 miles on original ball joints. I was NOT prepared for a quote of nearly $1500 to replace two front ball joints, sway bar bushings, and end links. When the service advisor (translate= upseller) gave me that figure, I asked him to have the mechanic get my car ready to drive, and I would take it home to think about it.Driving home, my vehicle handled worse than it had before I took it in. I got the jack out of the back, raised the front end, and discovered that the castle nut on my driver side ball joint was not even hand-tight. I was lucky I didnt crash on the drive home.I got online and priced the parts that the service department wanted to replace. With shipping, they came to $180, from Rock Auto. I ordered them, and then spent a leisurely 6hrs installing them, using hand tools in my paved driveway, on Memorial day. I dont count my labor, but at even $100 an hour, I STILL got the job done for about half of what Toyota of Bowling Green wanted.After installing the new parts, I took the vehicle back to the service department so they could complete the alignment. Guess what! After they tried to align it, the advisor came to tell me that it now needed both inner and outer tie rod ends, but he couldnt even price the parts, because the inner ends werent available. So, the technician had to leave the alignment with still about a degree of misalignment. Or so they claimed, since I never saw anything indicating how the alignment measured out, and customers cannot see into the service department to watch the procedures. After seeing how the technician left my ball joints the first time, I am not too inclined to trust his skills or judgement.If you can do the work yourself, do so. You will be better off in the end. The only reason I took it to the dealer in the first place, was because I didnt have access to fancy computerized alignment equipment, but after seeing how much they overcharge for parts and labor, and listening to the service advisors trying to upsell every service customer that walks through the doors, I might never go back to this service department.
