The only problem with this place is that you can (and will) spend all day looking at the gorgeous jewelry! The staff are absolutely amazing, they are so knowledgeable, helpful, and kind (definitely part of the reason you can spend hours in the shop)!! The jewelry is fantastic quality and worth every cent. I came in today and was helped by the absolute goddesses Lily and Angel! You guys are awesome!!!
All your crystal and pagen needs under one roof! Friendly staff and really neat stuff
Super friendly and knowledgeable employees. Cool stuff to look at, even if you dont think you want any of it. Like a rock museum.
I have bought a few pieces of beautiful jewlery from this awesome little shop. My most recent purchase was an Adventurine ring - a little under a month after I bought it I had it sitting close to a burning inscense and it loosened the glue and the stone fell out of the ring. They were so helpful and fixed it free of charge with helpful advice on proper care ⚡🦋 great shop, great products, great staff!
Ive been here 3 or 4 times now and I love it. Very well laid out store with an endless array of spiritual items, jewelry, etc.. the staff is always amazing- very friendly and knowledgeable.
Friendly staff, shop is SO cute and unique !
I came in to buy some jewelry for my girlfriend. I received very personalized help from Angel, who taught me about what I was looking at, while helping me find pieces that fit the gfs taste and my budget. Ive been going to this store since I was a kid, they still have the best selection, customer service, and prices in town.
This used to be a really cool store ten years ago. They sell all sorts of hippie stuff and have very nice crystal pieces. Over the past several years their prices have gone way up on crystals. They charge about twenty times or more for a piece than you would find at the gem or mineral show. We went in over the weekend and the prices were crazy high we turned around and walked right out. I’m sure their rent is high, but they have been in the same location for 20 years. Into the wind sells small toys for $2 so I’m not sure why El Lori sees the need to charge $50 for a tiny piece. Lower your prices so people can shop here! You’ll sell more items. The crystal dragon still has very reasonable prices for crystals and so does the shop in Ned
Bunch of hippies rambling about crystals and energy but if thats your thing then this is ur place.
Update of last review: they were very communicative and willing to help me figure out a solution to my broken necklace. Sent me a new one in the mail and it has been awesome ever since. Angel has been super helpful. Thank you for all the help!!! Will do business with again for sure
Kitty was so helpful! I love the atmosphere of the shop. Everyone in Boulder and all who are visiting should come here for all their gifts and jewelry/local Boulder good needs!
Great shop! So many choices youre guaranteed to find something for everyone there. Rock/mineral collectors this is your local spot. Best selection in town at affordable prices. They also have an impressive and extensive selection of silver jewelry. Pendants, chains, bracelets, cuffs, and so much more!As one of the oldest shops on the mall they have a lot of knowledge and are known for their excellent customer service. Absolutely recommend checking it out. You wont be bored!
Nice shop owners. Great stones on display.
Being completely honest about my experience is difficult. I really liked this store and came from quite a distance to shop here.At first I was very comfortable visual grazing, Ive always been the shop quietly by myself type, but then I felt bombarded by suggestions when I really didnt need them. These things I can overlook. However, when I came to a decision to purchase something, I chose an item at a price point I knew I could afford. The item I chose was $48. I am dyslexic, but I know the price tag said $48.I was charged $78. I am actually furious, not only because I was charged incorrectly, but the price tag was removed from the item without my knowledge or consent. I feel like I was taken advantage of because of my mental disability and I lost $30 that I needed.I will not go here again because I feel that I was taken advantage of to make a higher sale for an item I could have purchased on eBay for much much less.
I had a great experience getting my girlfriend a gift at this shop. Angel went above and beyond to help me find creative things that she might like, and I ended up with a winning set.
A fun throw back to an older time in Boulder- the hippy days. Has an assortment of jewelry, stones, incense, T-shirt’s, shoes and much more. There is a friendly staff and great vibe. I realize this isn’t for everyone but definitely worth a visit.
I loved the setup of the store even though it was such a small place. The selections of each stone are phenomenal. The larimar in partial was so beautiful and the cabs are cut by the owner. SO NICE. Definitely going back. Hoping to move to Boulder and become a regular! And the staff was so helpful. Great experience
The staff in this store is what keeps me coming back! Whenever I come in, there is always a smiling staff member greeting me. This little shop has a lot of charm, being one of Pearl Streets oldest businesses. A lot of what they do is by hand, and they constantly bring in new and interesting rocks. I spent a lot of time and money picking up fantastic and unique gifts for my friends and family. I would definitely recommend coming to this location just to experience real customer service that sometimes is lacking among business today.
Found some beautiful star ruby earrings and a few other things
Once in a blue moon you find that rare place where art and science collide. This is such a place.Imagine Aladins cave of wonders meets MITs geology dept. The beauty is overwelming, and then there are the gems! The owners are world class artisans who offer their own dazzling custom creations. The staff is highly skilled with vast geological insight to supply every detail about your new treasures. You are unlikely to find a shop that comes close to the variety and quality of El Loro. However there are also many inexpensive pieces for the young collector. Run dont walk to this trove of delight!
I have my absolute favorite necklace I wear every day from here. Picked the charm and chain. I live in a different state so I’m not close enough to just go exchange it. The first chain broke after a couple months and I made a special trip to get a different one and after one week and me traveling back home, the same chain broke once again. Pretty bummed about it
The staff there is super friendly, helpful, and LGBT friendly. Plus its a really cool little store.
Such a stunning assortment of jewelry, crystals, stones, clothing/accessories, shoes, witchy goods, etc. Its sort of tucked away into the mall but it stands out so brightly to those who see it. Great store, lovely energy! I love that I always see women working here!! ❤
Love this store! An amazing stop for when we toured Boulder, got amazing gems and jewelry! And they support local too, which I love!
Love this place one of my favorite shops in Colorado with the best selection, prices and friendly staff. I always find something beautiful and unique each time I visit ✨
A wonderful local business with helpful and friendly employees. A wonderful and diverse selection of jewelry and stones. I have happily shopped here for many years and always make a stop when down visiting Pearl Street.
I can always find the perfect gifts here! Everyone is always so patient, helpful and very knowledgeable of the products.
Ill start with the bad.. if youre very VERY claustrophobic, this is probably not amoungst the most spacious places, with so much stock on the floor, and you might not like as much as I like. It might not bother anyone, its just one of the long, thin shops. The prices are reasonable on stones, not amazing but pretty good. Bigger variety of small stones than I have seen some other places, not a great amount of larger stuff in crystals, but its a good selection of shaped stuff, too. Clothing and accessories are available, also, and some metaphysical topic things. (Bundled sage, some oils, I believe were on a little stand) Its almost a Knick--knacky shop for finding nifty and funky stuff, but with clothes, too. The staff was about how I am accustomed to staff acting towards me, which is nice from some and genuinely kind and tolerant to a bum (my memory is not so good, and Im poor and sometimes stinky.. but I am a good person. As such, I have some medium and high expectations for civility because Im somewhat good and figure my standards for how I treat people who arent being total douchebags are probably not the minimum, and if youre on the minimum, you shouldnt work retail .👌🏼 ) Some were acting (fake), is my point. But most are totally kind and pleasant, in the handful of times I have been into El Loro, possibly far less bothered by my funk, which is probably hereditary. (They might actually be relatives. I wouldnt be surprised.) Picked up a small number of stones, for wraps and such, it was pretty reasonable for what I bought (I dont remember the exact amount. Probably under $5 for a half dozen various stones.)
Cute shop, nice staff, good selection, decent prices.
Its my favorite store. I love buying my stones there.
The staff is ALWAYS helpful and quick
