Great consignment for your home! High end, top quality!
We have been there our first time this weekend and it was heaven for us! The two ladies were amazing and very helpful! ... And of course the furniture they have matches our taste perfectly! Well done Ladies!
Ive been a customer and consigner since Clutter was located downtown. The owner is always very nice, but nearly all the staff during all these years just arent.
I was able to find some great deals here. I was happy with the selection and quality of the products. It was a fantastic experience until I went to make the purchase. Never being in before I asked if I was allowed to take a piece home to see how it would fit (for reference apparently you can do this during the week but not on the weekend). The lady helping me said sure and was very understanding with me wanting to check before buying since all sales are final. Then as we went to sign the item out another person working starting arguing with her and saying we couldnt. She continued arguing for about 3 minutes. We finally said we would just buy the item and it wasnt a big deal because she was being very rude to the person helping us and was raising her voice. The lady arguing with the person helping us didnt listen though and went in the back room to call the owner so she could prove we couldnt do this. As we carried the item out to our car she came out and told us that the lady helping us didnt know what she was doing and that she was retiring in two weeks and was starting to lose it and said it was very sad. What she never seemed to understand was that she was the problem - she came off as very unprofessional and very rude. While we were shopping she was arguing with her co-workers over lunch and then seemed unhappy when we said we wanted the item we bought because she was thinking about buying it.I thought it was a great store but she made it a place I wont likely shop again.
Clutter is an adventure. I drop in about once a month. The stuff they accept is consistently accepted for quality, taste and style. The management is highly responsive and knowledgeable. Clutter is the best store of its kind in the greater Denver metro area. Robert Caplan
My new favorite store in Boulder. Every piece is carefully selected. Very stylish and more importantly super good priced. I will highly recommend this store anyone who is looking for great style and good prices!
Nice place with unusual items. Something new every time I visit!
This lady is rude. Looked me up and down in my gym shorts and T-shirt and then asked me to sanitize my hands. Luckily I keep sanitizer in my pocket. I sanitizer and then realized this place is WAY OVER PRICED. I left without touching a thing in the store.
Its a very cute shop right in heart of Pearl st. Shopping. They only keep items for 2 months so every time I go they have great new furniture and decor. The prices are always fair and the quality of what they take on consignment is great. Lots of unique pieces and very sweet staff. If they added a bathroom with a changing table this dad would be over the top. I have bought at least 10 items big and small from Clutter.
I love this place! Stopped in as they were just closing and took a quick look around for some furniture, spotted a four set of beautiful blue shaded wine glasses and went back the next morning, thankfully they were still there and I grabbed them! Everyone working both times I went in was so nice and they explained their store policies to me and welcomed me to the neighborhood and everything. Ill definitely be checking back in often!
I have had an excellent and very professional experience with Patty and the team from Clutters. I recently consigned a number of items that were sold quickly. The on-line system for updates and reviews of sale is excellent and all interaction professional, honest, courteous and efficient. I highly recommend consigning your clutter at Clutters.
Very nice selection of previously owned furniture and accessories. Everything is in beautiful condition and fairly priced. Friendly owners.
We found several great pieces that fit perfectly in our new home. Patty and her staff are so helpful. Will return often
I like clutter very much. Very eclectic mix of new and vintage furniture and wares. Its an organized store, with the items well placed around the store. My only gripe is that they dont do payment plans or layway plans which would be nice.
I LOVE Clutter! Did I mention that I LOVE Clutter? I discovered this wonderful store when my daughter attended CU. I never needed an excuse to drive to Boulder to visit my daughter and Clutter! Now that she has graduated, I still find myself making the drive to visit my favorite store looking for treasures to refresh my home. My daughters often pick out pieces for their own homes from Clutter as well. The staff is wonderful (with Kathy being my favorite) and they keep the fast moving inventory arranged beautifully. Be sure to stop by if youre in Boulder, you wont be disappointed!
They sell excellent quality items. One of the best consignment stores Ive been too.
Lovely store, friendly professional staff. I had a much better experience at Clutter than the other consignment stores in Boulder County!
My wife and I have bought and consigned at Clutter and always had excellent experience. Patty and her team are awesome.
Walked into clutter, three women standing at front counter talking about how some other woman is a b word, I wasnt acknowledged walking in or out because Im younger and have tattoos I think. First guy that walks in after me wth a polo shirt and popped collar gets a big hello how are you what can we help you with ! Prices are way to high and there was no service.
Today I purchased a beautiful table from Clutter. I am very happy with my purchase. I have been a consistent customer, My Fiancé and I have bought and sold a few items here. I went to look for a table at Clutter and found the perfect thing. I checked the price and the tag was $355.00. I immediately texted pictures of the table to my partner and told her in the message as I was standing next to the table that it was $355. The staff was patient with my questions and put the table on hold for me for an hour and a half while I went to pickup my partner to purchase the table. I came back and they had my on hold tag still, but it was now mysteriously attached to a new tag that said $390.00. I pressed and the manger (owner?) and she proceeded to explain that the tag clearly had the price $390.00 on it and that it was the tag attached to the table. I am 100% sure that they printed a new tag after I left and increased the price. I did not take a picture of the original tag and thus I was in a weak position to fight or argue. I feel completely taken advantage of! This ruined my night. I was bested for $35.00 (a 10% increase exactly) and I will not return with my business or recommend to others ever again. VERY UPSET. SO DISHONEST!
We absolutely LOVE this place and always fund the best lamps and chairs.
Nice selection of unique furniture and accessories~
Clutter has really solid, easy systems in place for consigning. They are growing with the growing community. When I moved across town, things that I treasured but couldnt take with me found new homes thanks to Clutter.
Things come and go so fast here. I love it
I really like the unique finds they have here!
Smooth way to sell your good stuff.
I would like to give this store the benefit of the doubt in the hope that they typically do better, but I cannot recommend them based on my experience.I purchased a couch there today, and was told by the salesperson that I had until Monday to pick it up, as that is 3 days from today. Because it took a while to get anyones attention when I wanted to inquire about the couch, I had to rush off to an appointment before I could give them a pickup date. I was told that I did not need to wait around for the salesperson (who was really friendly) to finish filling out the hold slip, and that I could call later on with an update.I made arrangements with a friend, and then called the store later this afternoon. The first person could not follow what I was saying. I explained that I had arranged for the couch to be picked up on Monday, but the employee kept thinking that I was asking for a moving service recommendation. This person was really nice, but for whatever reason, couldnt understand what I was saying. Finally, the salesperson handed the phone over to someone else, who was incredibly rude to me. This second person told me that I needed to have the couch out of the store as soon as possible, ideally by tomorrow, but by Sunday morning at the latest. I was exasperated and felt pressured to hire one of the moving companies that they advertise for, even though I had already made arrangements through a friend who wont charge me $75 for a local delivery. I became increasingly frustrated as this employee tried to tell me that I was wrong about the pickup deadline, almost to the point of insinuating that I was lying. Never mind that when I do a Google search for three days from today, every website Ive found tells me that it is Monday the 10th.At that time, I learned that someone had written on the hold slip that I would pick up the couch by Sunday. This was written on the form *after* I had left the store, and I was unaware of it. This latest salesperson went so far as to say that I had to pick it up by early Sunday morning after claiming that I had purchased the couch early this morning (quote) because they like to clear out sold items as quickly as possible. My sales receipt says 12:28pm as the purchase time.I said that I would check to see if I could have the couch picked up by Sunday. Alternatively, I was told that I could have a refund as long as it was processed today, but I decided to see if I could make other arrangements. After I got off the phone, I thought about it and realized that I really dont want to bring the employees negativity into my home. I honestly would not be able to enjoy the couch after the way I was treated. This person ruined a purchase that I had been really excited about earlier today, and ensured that I will never set foot in there again. As an aside, a lot of the items are overpriced. This couch was more than I wanted to spend, but I had decided to buy it anyway since it was the closest thing Ive found to what I have been searching for, and in good condition. I will never go back in there, and I would warn anyone who shops there that what you are told by one salesperson might later be contradicted by another. Then you could be harshly told that *you* are wrong. I tried to be polite in response, but it is really difficult to maintain politeness when speaking with someone who is so rude and obviously doesnt want my business. Ive been in the store a number of times, and I usually (but not always) have felt unwelcome. To their credit, they gave me a refund, which Im very appreciative of. I hope that for their sake, they can do a better job of training employees on the store policies so that this sort of confusion does not happen again, as well as some much-needed general customer service training and better management. The prices are really high for used furniture, in varying degrees of quality and condition. Some stuff is really nice, and other things look quite worn. Even though I am disappointed with the outcome today, I am probably better off looking elsewhere.
Patty and all the folks at clutter are so wonderful. I spend hours in that store and it changes every day -- go to clutter!
Owner and the staff are wonderful. They have assisted me in selling about half a dozen items.
Wonderful store! I love the selection and unique pieces.
Love this store. Bought and sold items. Would go again and again.
Fun to browse, friendly staff, diverse and quality stock
Wide variety. Still pricey but less that full retail.
A standard thrift store
Extremely overpriced for consignment
Expensive
This is a concession store where sellers put their sales into the store.Busy anytime, products are constantly changing, there are many new things. There are regular customers, and some people are waiting to check in, so you can wait even for a checkout.Mainly furniture, but not particularly vintage. I feel that there are more people today. So-called house hold items, tableware, candle stands, poster frames, picture frames, etc.The jewelery is modern and is placed next to the cash register.
