When owned by American Rec Kelty, Wenzel, ect. had the best warranty on items and they went above and beyond to help customers. Now that Exxel owns them the quality of items and customers service has gone way down hill. I bought a screen tent and on the on the packaging said it had a 10 year warranty. The tent had a design flaw broke after first week of use. Customer service responded saying maybe you can glue it. When I pushed back about the warranty on the box I was offered an item that was not even close to what I bought (even thought they had an updated model). When I pointed this out they offered me a small credit to buy the next model up.This company no longer honors its warranty and clearly now makes low quality products. Stay away!
