Stopped in for a coffee. Pretty cool views from the patio and a nice bookstore. The restrooms are pretty trashed though.

Had a pretty awesome experience at this location. Staff is awesome, not super repetitive when it comes to looking for a book or something Id wish to own. Everything is kept neat and going out the door with a feeling of getting what you came for at full clean quality.

Boulder is such a beautiful city, friendly too. This Barnes and Noble is a very nice location. They have a clean store, with a cafe. My entire family enjoyed our time here. We purchased some books and some games. There is also a huge Whole Foods in the same parking lot! Like I said it is a great location!When will Casper WY get a Barnes and Noble?

Every B&N is consistently very clean, pleasant, well stocked and really an all together good shopping experience. I really appreciate the games & toy selection as above the par for learning and fun for kids of all ages.

I love this location for their larger than average nature section. They also have a nice fireplace in the middle of the store, and a cafe that is open. News stand is usually up to date as well.

I LOVE this Barnes and Noble but I was really sad that they covered the outlets in the cafe especially in a college town. I love studying here so I will definitely be coming less unfortunately.

This was my first venture inside the store since the virus struck. I noticed it has become as much a kids toy store as a bookstore. Nonetheless it was a pleasant experience.

My card member renewal was canceled since three years ago. But someone managed to get my bank card info from long ago and charged a renewal for this year, unbeknownst to me, and with out my previous consent. I have not bought in other branch if not this one or the one on Westminster. So, there is a thief manager either on this store or the one on Westminster.

Always helpful staff who are kind, professional, and fun! Great book selection and if the book you want isnt there, theyll order it for you! Staff is always knowledgeable and provides great feedback and recommendations on like authors.

Big and nice place, variety of everything, very kind service, different price levels. Unfortunately for me, I didnt find what I needed. Yearly planner - variety of designs, but almost all ( or all) starts from 2020 August. Or other example, cooking book, impressive variety, but nothing for people, who are special treatment, or has some disease.

Its a bookstore, not much to say. If you want a new release go there if not and you just want to browse books go to a used bookstore, theyre cooler and generally run by more knowledgeable people, if youre in Boulder I would say go to red letter books.

Barnes and Noble has so much more than books. I love their selection if books though, something for everyone in the family.

Great place to find a wide variety of good books and other nifty items! BUT... I do wish they had either more seating at the Starbucks located inside, or simply just more outlets with couches/chairs nearby throughout the store. Its very hard here to find a good place to be productive and get settled into on your laptop or whatever else you need plugged in.

There is no question any location of Barns and Noble is book lover’s HEAVEN! There is a ton of books and a great selection of music too. They also have a great children’s section. They also have some DELICIOUS pastries and treats in their cafe.

It where i met with with my friend

Theres a public bathroom that non-paying customers can use. In four years of living in Boulder (3 of which were grad school years), Ive never successfully found or purchased a book that Ive needed here. Ive tried special orders; nothing has ever arrived. A cafe employee recently rudely announced that I am not Starbucks and then said so nothing? and walked away when I paused to reorient to a cafe that used to be Starbucks. I walked out, silently. Ill only be back when I need to use a bathroom and its the only place nearby.

Awesome place! They have a wide selection of books. You can find anything you want to read here. I even found my favorite Manga here... They dont have a variety on notebooks though...

I love it because I love books! It is as simple as that. Big sale going on right now. I did a return of a duplicate book with absolutely no questions asked and got my charge card credit immediately. Parking can be a challenge at the Boulder Pearl Street location just due to Whole Foods customers.

I love this Barnes and Noble. It is clean, the people are friendly and helpful, and it is fun to just browse. They have a huge selection of games, Funko Pops, and journals. I love coming here with the future wife and finding books for each other and laughing at how crazy some of these books are. Highly recommend for any of your literature needs.

Great book store have bought numerous books but have not been to this one im a commercial plumber and Im working on the jobsite across the street from it so we have no parking so we construction workers are utilizing the parking lot for us to park sorry.....but great store lol.....

They have a great and very large selection. We actually came in after our wedding ceremony for a board game to play. We were able to find the games quickly and easily. They had a great amount to choose from in every category. We ultimately left with Game of Thrones themed Risk.

Helpful and a great selection of books

Dont take my word for it with the star rating here because I love all bookstores and libraries. This one just happens to have lots of books and has wide isles and was open when we drove by... and I remembered that I was looking for a few books. I got what I wanted and what I needed. Everyone one was helpful and I got some deals. 👍👍

Open during this crisis. Activity books, puzzles, magazines, books of all types i bought some books and with membership and the sale it was a good value. They offered help and the cashier was friendly as well. They are open 9 am to 6 p right now i was happy they were open at all.

Really friendly staff at this location. Sometimes theyll bring customers free samples from the cafe which is always a pleasant surprise. This is by far my favorite bookstore due to their huge selection of books and knowledgeable staff. Cannot recommend more.

The bookstore has good inventory in general and the Starbucks cafe has good snacks. I gave 4 stars because there is almost always a line to wait to pay and sometimes the line is extremely long and the cashiers are slow (and chit chatting with customers in a leisurely manner instead of moving along at a good clip as one would expect when there is a long line). Its nice to have a big box store for books in town if our first choice store, Boulder Bookstore or the Bookworm doesnt have what were looking for.

The plethora of homeless people inside the store WILL steal your stuff. Lost a $200 winter coat. Store management was less than helpful in helping us recover it. Also, there is a lack of charging points near reading tables.

For what it is - a generic corporate bookstore - it’s fine. It does have some issues - there is always a line to check out, unless they pull staff off the floor. The front-end older regulars are slow and leisurely, even when there is a long line (in spite of it, if seems. This often necessitates a call for extra-hands). It’s always an issue.The store is really great at having the latest stock, though how they shelve it can be frustrating (and sometimes new stock is still in back, awaiting to be shelved). If you follow (or want to follow) a series, you’ll often find yourself going to Amazon or am Indie store to find the series starter (or the next book in the set).Finally, though it has decreased lately, the store was a popular homeless hangout. Sometimes there would be crass conversation near the front door (sorry kids!) or the bathrooms would be unusable. This has improved, but there is still the occasional issue.Otherwise, if you want the latest James Patterson or gift for the kids, this is your store!

This is our spot for hanging out for me and my son. We love to get immersed in amongst all the books. There is a small Starbucks tucked in which helps in case my son needs some refreshments. Their collection of books is quite inclusive and it is super easy to order online and just collect it from the store. Children have a separate membership. Their membership program is also very good. Glad to have this in our neighborhood.

Excellent selection of everything readable. Wonderful DVDs amd music. If you dont see it in store; just ask and employees will get it. Friendly people and great hospitality. In cold weather a warm fireplace is always glowing. Got great coffee and yummy baked goods. Snack bar has cold beverages and fresh sandwiches. Lots of free parking. Good place to visit with friends.

Full-service gas stations, doctors who make house calls... Its a wonder that bookstores still exist. Barnes & Noble is a big chain, but it still feels like a bookstore. This location is huge, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They can help you find what you need, and they can order books if necessary. I hope Barnes & Noble will still be around in the future.

Stopped in for a browse. Came out a bit lighter wallet wise. Books pens and a deck of Oracle Cards. Hit the cafe, use the coupon, you wont regret it! My cupcake was amazing.

I love book stores but I thoroughly enjoyed how large this location was. The store is nicely laid out to easily find what you are looking for or you can ask a staff member. They have everything from childrens books, board games, audio books, and Starbucks. The prices are typical of barnes and noble so dont expect to find a bargain.

I’m visiting from Minnesota and would just like to compliment this store for its excellent service. People were so helpful and knowledgeable. I was asked three times if I needed help! Back home, I have to go search for someone when I need help.

Clean and well organized store. The staff is knowledgeable about new releases coming out and very friendly towards customers. Plus a great little coffee shop with quality sweet treats and savory sandwiches

The young man at the register was very friendly, helpful, and efficient even with the line in front of him. I am, admittedly, an impatient line-waiter but his personality made it impossible to get impatient! :) :) Also, some awesome sales are running now until 9/2!!

They were able to help my friend and I find some books. The books my friend were looking for werent in store so they looked at options to order in. I have been here before and they seem overall good in selection. Though they seem slightly understaffed or it was just hard to pick out the employees properly for me to get some help.

I love Barnes and Noble, thats a given. But my experience with the Starbucks inside of this bookstore today was absolutely fantastic. The two lovely ladies working at the counter gave me my drink very quickly, but informed me there was a problem with my bagel and they offered me a new pastry and drink to make up for the issue. I was absolutely floored by their fantastic service. Really above and beyond work, I highly recommend this B&N and Starbucks.

Blown away by the customer service by B&N and specifically Wayne the manager today! He went above and beyond to get 13 copies of a Jim Collins book for our nonprofit and was so generous with his time and attention on very short notice. It’s rare you get this kind of attention these days and we’re so grateful. Thank you!!

Great mix of books including a dedicated section for kids. Has a Starbucks in the store. Found the books a little expensive compared to online but staff are helpful and nice just to have a browse.

Good place to get warm in winter if you have no place to go. If you behave yourself and do not speak d to much time in bathroom. They have a child security guard who determines showing you are allowed in bathroom.

The staff is always friendly and helpful... This is a great place for kids and families. My daughter really enjoys coming here to check out their book selection. Sometimes we buy online and pick up in-store which is always a breeze. We are homeschoolers and have the educators discount which is very helpful. We try to support this store as much as we can because we would hate to see it close. Its so much better to go see books in person rather than ordering off of Amazon.

Not as much seating as they used to provide but was still able to chill and read a whole book at my leisure.

I came from over 70 miles away to get a book that their system said they had in stock. When the manager figured out that it was an error in how they inventoried their stock, his response was short and flippant. He did not show any empathy for my long drive and their obvious mistake.Amazon is going to run Barnes and Nobles right out of business. The goal would be to show amazing customer service so that your stores even have a chance of surviving.

Good to place to bring toddler on rainy days to play with the wooden trainset as well as to get some new books. Avoid the toy section though unless they have 30% off plus you have a 20% off coupon plus your 10% discount for being a member. Only then theyre not overpriced.

No surprise that Amazon is devouring these big box stores. I asked for help finding a specific book, and was told to go look in a general direction that they might have it. The human touch is all this place had going for it and it to now is gone. FYI the book will be here in two days!

I love this Barnesy!! The booksellers are just awesome! They are always willing to help you find a book or offer up a good read. I love the coffee shop and the ability to flip through some magazines or books. This is the nice Barnes.

I hadnt been in a book store in forever. I was shocked at their selection and more importantly the staff. In the 20 minutes I was in the store, I had at least 5 staff members offer to help me out. This location is very convenient and has plenty of parking. Theres a starbucks inside if you need a drink.

Some people dont like the big chains, I like this bookstore. Organized well and nice employees. Always can find something interesting here. Parking can be tough at times, but nice store.

A typical B&N store. Not as many books as they used to have in the pre Amazon era, but still a great place to browse for reading material. The cafe is still good, with *bucks coffee and lots of cookies and other baked goods, plenty of tables and chairs. Not enough electrical outlets though, and too many vagrants hanging around.

Great smaller Barnes and Noble. But if you do go in and cant find what you need, the friendly and intelligent staff members will help you find, or order just about any book thats syi in print anywhere.

It was very cozy and I was able to find some new things that I will definitely be adding to the christmas wish list
