Happily surprised at the selection at this clean & well-organized liquor store. Staff was friendly, beer cold, what more do ya need? Prices competitive with the rest of Boulder.

Smaller store, but packed with a good selection. Great staff. Prices are a bit high, but its a neighborhood store, not a huge box liquor store you browse with a shopping cart. Great for a dinner bottle of wine or six pack though.

This is a great place to obtain alcohol, if alcohol is your drug of choice. Everyone there is helpful, thoughtful and kind. Their selections are superb. The owner of this store could teach retail sales, and employee/management relations anywhere. They are the very best.

Awesome little north boulder liquor store.

We bought a $24 bomber out of the fridge, and it turned out it was 3 years old and totally flat. There was a date of 2015 on the bottle. They wouldnt give us a refund because we didnt bring it back with beer still in it. I understand the policy to prevent people from buying beer and just saying it was bad after drinking it, but this wasnt the case. The 2015 date was on the beer bottle and they still sold it. There is a problem with their quality-control.

North Boulder Liquor has a great selection on beer and wine. It is a family owned business that has been around for as long as I can remember in Boulder. Everyone there is super friendly!

This place is constantly bustling when I go in. They have everything related to alcohol. The salespersons are friendly but struggle to keep up with the busy pace. Still, it is a great place to find that scotch or wine you are looking for.

Friday July 14. The staff was obviously confused and under staffed. After being bounced between two cashiers for a minute or so, I went to put down a six pack and at the last minute it slipped about 2 inches from my hands onto the counter. One of the employees yelled at me in front of everyone and screamed YOU ALRIGHT BRO! HEY MAN WERE TRYING TO GET THESE PEOPLE OUT OF HERE! In front of everyone. I have been a loyal customer for 6 years and I will NEVER GO BACK!!!

Ive shopped at this store many times over the decades since I first moved to Boulder but moved away and hadnt been back for a couple of years. I had time to check out the many newer and larger competitors and I have to say that the wine selection in this small store is truly the best of the best for those who care about quality and value. Whoevers doing the buying here really knows their stuff!Top-quality small-producer wines from France, Italy and the U.S. at more-than-fair prices, properly aged, ready-to-drink Barolos and Chateauneuf du Pape for those with deeper pockets, carefully-sourced everyday wines from the best importers, on and on. Killer liquor selection, a ton of microbrews and friendly, unpretentious service. Its a local institution for very good reasons!
