Great beer, nice people, great outdoor area with nice view of the mountains.

Very tasty beers, mostly IPAs, but they have other selections as well. I wish I couldve tried the peanut butter fudge stout but we didnt have enough time.. Staff was very friendly. Also their glassware is awesome! Bought a couple of souvenir cups to bring home with us

Read Romans 1:28It was 12:30 pm . Was the only one there hoping to catch a UNC game . Could not even order from my table . Had to muzzle up and head the bar . I preferred to leave .

Good new brewery in the Gunbarrel area of Boulder. They offer a good variety of beers and have a nice stage for fairly regular live music. They have a good sized indoor and outdoor seating options, as well as varied food trucks who set up shop.

Currently they are only open for to-go beer and outdoor seating. It was snowing so I got the Shakedown sour to go that is very tasty! The lady behind the bar was extremely friendly and knowledgeable!

Great Groupon for a flight and a full pour. Went on a Wednesday night around 6 pm. Had a really cool bluegrass jam with maybe 15 people or so all playing along in an open jam. Beer is or good, wide variety of styles. The sour shakedown and basil saison were my favorites while my partner really liked the Mexicana. The headspin ipa tastes like a piney wood that knocks you in the face. Great summer beer hangout. Also DOGS EVERYWHERE. I PET EVERY SINGLE ONE. NO RGRETS.

The beer is delicious and the staff is very friendly. First brut IPA I’ve had that is interesting in flavor, the hops really shine through. The head spin IPA also has a great flavor and holds to the DIPA extra hoppy lines, not just a higher ABV. Highly recommend at least getting a taster of the basil saison- I emerald dislike saisons but this is interesting and tasty. The beertendress also steared me away from a beer that she said just was not gonna be something I like- I really appreciate that.

Awesome new music inspired brewery! Lots of outdoor seating, great music playing and tasty beers! It’s also dog friendly which I love.

Not very impressed with the location or their beer. This seems like a brewery that is cashing in on the craft beer craze rather than an actual passion for the craft. The beers were marginal at best and a couple were downright unpleasant - the Prima Mexicana amber lager and the Face Shinin amber lager and no, this is not because I am not a fan of amber lagers - I quite like them when they are executed well. Do yourself a favor and go to Avery instead which is a short walk away.

The boyfriend and I were bestowed a coupon for 2 flights (6 5oz beers) and 4 pints and couldnt find anyone to join us. So we asked that the pints just go into a growler and the bartender happily obliged.The beers were fantastic. I have never enjoyed pale ales or sours before in my life be we settled on a growler of the blackberry sour.I am so impressed. Never have I ever enjoyed every beer in a flight before.We are so looking forward to going back and, if we are lucky, hopefully we will come again on bluegrass night.Extremely pleased and highly recommend.

Great time at the brewery with friends that were visiting. Love the live music decor and themed beers. Service was spot on and very friendly. I would recommend this place for some great beers and great environment. Charlotte was a great bartender with a good knowledge of the beer. Thanks.

I really enjoyed this place. I visited back in May on a cold, gloomy day, but the woman behind the bar was fantastic. She was super friendly and was able to answer all the questions I had. The BTM IPA was exactly as I had hoped and the Chocoat Stout was a pleasant surprise. Super clean feel to the place, too.

Great new brewery. Has a ton of local feel and unique beers. The dog Tilly was also a major highlight. The coffee IPA was unexpected but also very good. The raspberry and sour were spot on. The raspberry had good flavor without too much fake syrupy tatse. And the sour was balanced and full of mango flavor

I live a short walk away from Beyond the Mountain and was really excited to see another brewery open nearby!The staff are very friendly and the bar and beers are themed off of local bands. They also have live bands every Friday and Saturday night.The live music is definitely a cool niche for a brewery and I think a lot of people will like it. Its not really my scene, so I was personally a little disappointed, but they do the theme well and for people who like live music Im sure this will be a favorite spot.The beer was just OK. They are a new brewery and Im sure they will continue to improve the quality of their beers. We tried all of their non-seasonal beers, and we enjoyed all of them, but none of them were distinct enough to bring me back.I look forward to walking over to Beyond the Mountain occasionally and I will update my rating and review as they fine-tune their beers and settle into their space.

Excellent!, my first visit, I was a home brewer for 20 + years. Beyond The Mountain beers are clean with no off flavors commonly found in other craft beers.Looking forward to checking out the music scene next time.

Only jam band themed brewery I know of. Staff is fun, and the bar top is made entirely of old ticket stubs from various shows. Beer is pretty tasty too.

11 month old brewery? Better than many more established breweries. Ask Miriam for Jeffs blend. Fully enjoyed!

Had a great time at Beyond The Mountain! Miriam was fantastic and charming, completely knowledgeable about not just the beers and the taproom, but also the brewhouse. Beers were very tasty, especially the Red and the Basil Saison.
