I’ve lived in Boulder for a decade and this is by far the best shop I’ve ever been to. They are honest in the work you need versus what is not necessary. They’ll also keep you up to date the whole way through. Their prices are more than fair considering the area and what auto work goes for around here, plus they work hard to deliver on time. It’s tough to find mechanics you can trust, but these guys and gals are it.

They genuinely care about their customers. They listen and communicate well, get the diagnoses right and fix the problem. They are honest and have fair prices. I have been pleased every time Ive taken my (old) Jeep there. Theyve kept it running for 246,400 miles.

They are a very busy place but absolutely worth the wait. They listened to me and actually took what I said into account as they determined and fixed one of those pesky cannot duplicate problems but it’s damaging the vehicle. The time to fix and repair were done and I can happily report my car is fixed!

Ive been coming here since moving to the area a few years ago and they are without a doubt the best shop Ive used. Super fast response able to fit me in next day. Knowledgeable staff review all work done and results. Alignment work was brought back to factory spec and the car is driving well. This is is the level of workmanship all shops should strive to provide.

Good place, got my truck fixed in a pinch. Took awhile to get done however I believe this is because they are such a busy shop. Overall did a great repair and would recommend them.

Weve used Repair Masters on a few different vehicles over the past several years, and they have never let us down. They do quality work and run the business with honesty and integrity.

I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee and last September the Cam Sensor was replace here. On May 13th I experienced intermittent failure to start the Jeep. I was able to drive over and the next day the Sensor was replaced again and at no cost to me. It was under warranty. As an independent woman it can be difficult to find a auto repair shop that I can trust. I have been charged far more than I should have on more than one occasion.Repair Masters has repaired my vehicle a couple times and now I wont go anywhere else. Not only is their staff incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, but they are truly an honest business.I went to Swedish Motors to get my oil changed and they informed me that I needed to get my front rotors and brake pads replaced. They quoted me at $600+. I even asked a Volvo dealership and they quoted me for the same price.Repair Masters quoted me at almost half the price AND they were kind enough to help my zip-tie my bumper into place and it looks much better. Great service all around. Was told by a local Ford dealership that my brakes were shot and if I kept driving without replacing them, would likely need to replace rotors as well. Took it to Repair Master for a second opinion (without sharing this), and was told I still had 6mm left, and that it was much too early to replace them. Glad to have finally found a reputable mechanic!

I cannot say enough great things about the service, care and quality work at repair masters. They constantly talk me out of unnecessary work and explain when work is optional but a good idea. These are the guys I trust in Boulder.Theyve done stellar repair/maintenance work and always turned it around same day.They completed warranty work and did all the contacting of the warranty folks for no additional charge (they called to see if it was covered and spent a considerable amount of time explaining my benefits to me, something they could have easily told me to call the warranty company for).Theyve also advised on option maintenance and told me a few things that werent necessary. Thats right, they talked me OUT of doing extra work on my car.Ive also had my girlfriends car there for an estimate and they came in at a lower price than another auto repair place.

I love Repair Masters Automotive. I am a mature single woman who has been taking my vehicles to this business for years. Ive had lots of experience dealing with other service centers including dealerships and regularly had issues with integrity, unnecessary work being done, high labor prices, etc until I experienced Repair Masters Automotive. All personnel there treats you respectfully and expediently. The work is excellent and they tell you what to expect for future maintenance so as to stay ahead of potential problems. The transmission in my vehicle recently broke down and I had to purchase a new vehicle. Not only did they advise me on a vehicle that would best meet my needs and would last with the best results, they allowed me to keep my current vehicle on their lot while searching for a new car. Integrity comes to mind when I think of Repair Masters Automotive. Consider them for your auto needs. You wont be sorry.

My Jeep starting making loud clicking noises late Friday afternoon. I was in Boulder for a meeting - a long way from home.I went to the shop and was told that they were closing up. I explained that I didn’t live there and asked for advice. Gordon (i think), then went out to his truck, retrieved his tools and had me fixed in under 30 min for $28.I couldn’t be more grateful or impressed with the service, but mostly for his compassion and willingness to help. It was incredibly refreshing.

Had a mechanic in Denver (not Repair Master) tell me that I needed new ball joints, rotors, and brake pads ($1600-1800 fix). Took it in to Repair Masters to confirm and eventually fix. I got a call from the shop telling me that there are no problems with my van and they dont need to fix anything. Best part is they did not even charge me for inspecting my vehicle. Great trustworthy shop!!!

Fair, quick and respectful!

I was only in Boulder for the summer and needed a place to look at my brakes as the rotors were warping. Repair Masters took a look for me and told me honestly that I would need a full brake job on both the front and back - eventually! They told me that I had 5-7000 miles left on my pads and that not replacing the rotors until then wouldnt be a problem or a safety concern. They knew that I wouldnt be around at that point and yet still were truthful about my brakes not needing work (even though they definitely feel like they do). A good and honest mechanic is hard to find, but Boulder residents can trust Repair Masters Automotive completely.

For three years, Ive trusted Jim at Repair Masters to help take care of our daughters 2008 Ford Fusion, as she finished her college work at the University of Colorado. This is the only repair shop that I trust with my car. I live in Castle Rock and will continue to make the drive to Boulder for all major repair work my car needs. I was forced to have my car towed to a local shop in Castle Rock and they quoted me $4500 to repair my vehicle. I took it to Repair Masters and they got my vehicle in safe working order for $300. I come to Repair Masters knowing that I will never be taken advantage of and that my vehicle will be taken care of.

The office staff was so nice, she told me places I can go around their shop if the wait was too long! I would give 10/5 stars if I could!

When she got a hangnail you diagnosed and fixed it when no one else could. She also says thanks for that ...small issue or large...you got it covered...

These guys are a rare find in the automotive world: honest, dependable and they dont charge an arm and a leg for their work! While no auto repair is inexpensive, I often find they come in lower than their estimates, which are very reasonable to begin with. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I thought I had damage from someone backing up into my car, and when I brought my car here the people were nice, the waiting area was fabulous, and they checked my car over for free. Highly recommend. Do not judge the place by its surroundings.

My wife and I were visiting from NC. Halfway up a nearby mountain our alternator goes out. Repair Masters was our second stop. It was the day after the 4th of July so everyone was slammed. The car stopped turning over in their parking lot, so we were stranded. Jim said they could get it done same day and even offered to drop us off somewhere more comfortable while we waited. They had it done within 4 hours and saved our trip. Outstanding costumer service, I highly recommend them.

Tldr: went in to get my AC fixed. It cost just as much as the dealership, but they left my windshield wipers loose, resulting in a dangerous drive home.I recently had an issue with my air conditioning in my car and I took it to the Ford dealership in Longmont to get diagnosed. The price to get it fixed was quoted by the Ford folks at around 900 dollars. Minus the diagnostic fee from the Ford dealership (160ish) I was expecting to pay between 700 and 800 dollars. I called repair master automotive to get a second opinion. Over the phone, they quoted the fix at around 500 so I thought Id try them out. When I took my car in for them to fix, I gave them the notes from the Ford dealership. They realized there was an extra step the Ford dealership realized wed have to do for my car (resealing something or other) that they hadnt thought of, so their price went up to mid 700s as well. Considering that theyre the same price but that they didnt think of the fact that they needed to perform a given step, it might be advisable to simply go to the dealership to begin with.That said, theyre much closer to my house, so I just trusted them to do it because I have a new baby at home and going places is difficult. I think they did a good job. So far, there have been no problems and Im glad that they didnt simply leave the necessary step undone.UPDATE: A few days after I got my AC fixed here, I was on the highway with my month old baby in the back seat and it started raining. Much to my horror, my windshield wipers wouldnt work. They were working just fine before I brought the car in to get the AC fixed, so I wasnt expecting them to spontaneously die on me. I made it home safe thankfully and my husband took a look at them. The engines that move them were fine, but the bolts connecting them to the engines were loose. We tightened the bolts and everything worked again. I (not being car savvy) assume something about the process of fixing the AC required the removal of the windshield wipers and that when they put them back on, they only hand tightened the bolts, leaving the wipers ineffective. Im glad nothing more was wrong and I can see that that would be an easy mistake to make, but it is the kind of mistake that could be very dangerous in certain circumstances.

Car broke down right as we were leaving Boulder to drive back east. Even though its the weekend they were nice enough to get my car in and take care of it. The employees were super nice as well as their waiting area.

I brought my SUV into Repair Master Auto with a clutch problem. They diagnosed the problem in just a short period of time.Left the vehicle with them and they were on it in less time then I anticipated. They had it the shop anddisassembled and reassembled with all new parts in about four hours.Jim gave me a call, and said your up and running to which I replied so soon. I drove it off the yard and home. Now, Ive own this SUV since 96, bought it brand new. Ive done a lot of performance up-grades to the vehicle, they installed a high performance clutch kit. I called Repair Master when Igot home, Michelle answered the phone. I told her that Ive had two new clutches installed on thatvehicle since Ive own it, and that shifting was never so smooth and easy not even when it was new.The workmanship is higher then expected and much better then even a dealers repair shop. You cant compare prices there isnt any comparison, in the past I paid twice and more then twice for the same work with less performance. These guys did a good job at a reasonable price when they worked on my brakes, but they will ream you for an oil change. I was charged $12.50/quart for an oil I could walk into a store and buy for under $9, and that shops can get at a discounted price for buying in bulk. In addition, they charged $2 to top off my washer fluid!!!(something that I did not ask for and that Im pretty sure even discount places do as a courtesy), how ridiculous is that?I would recommend them for other types of work, but an oil I would go elsewhere.

My heater went out. They charged me over $100 just for an estimate which ultimately they said would cost me $800 (mostly labor). I couldnt afford $800 so I found a family friend who was a mechanic to look at it. He had the heater running in 15 minutes. He said they were trying to charge me for 8 hours of labor on a very simple job. Just thought Id let others know about my experience with them. I recommend going elsewhere.

These guys are the repair shop that ABRA uses when they repair your car through Progressive. Between the two of them I am not sure who is to blame but since there was a lot of finger pointing I have to assume that it was a shared fault. On May 30th, my vehicle was t-boned by someone on the passenger fender. Although my side airbags and seat airbags did deploy, this was not a large job as in my car was a mess. Between this shop and the body shop my car was not returned to me to 64 days after the accident. And it was not returned in a condition that was acceptable. My car was scratched, door dinged, leather ruined, and many other cosmetic issues that were FAR away from the accident site. Again there was a round of finger pointing. The leather in the back of the seat was clearly ruined from storing my seat that needed to be replaced in the back against the leather and breaking my seatbelt in the process, and then storing my car with the seat back down and allowing it to become cut from the broken seat belt. After another 4 weeks of waiting I finally have my car returned to me in somewhat the condition that it was before the accident. These guys over promise and under deliver EVERY step of the way. I would never use them again, but will be forced to go back to them if anything happens to the repairs as they are warrantied.

My car overheated in Boulder on a trip from Fort Collins. I called Repair Master and spoke with Jim who I believe is the owner. I drove the car directly there, Jim immediately took a look, diagnosed the problem, advised me and topped off the coolant so I could make it back home. I strongly recommend these folks.

I am from diff country and was on roadtrip through boulder.These guys are con artists at its best who estimate the expense and labor hours different by customer to customer and on how much they think they can rip you off for.Imported tire works (on Pine st) sent me to import coachworks which ultimately sent me here for something they(IMprorted tire works) could not fix it for me even though being a specialized alignment shop. For something called Cheat rod on the back axel / between two of the backwheels which these shop said are unaligned and needs $360 worth of work with 4 hours of labor next day. It was suspecious when the manager here keep looking at my new alignment paper from imported tire works for 3 min straight and pretended to figure out the same thing I was there for at first place. Manager at Imported tire works kept saying ask them to call me if they dont know what this paper says. My car was fine, running, nothing needed. Got it checked by my mechanic in Cali eventually and got laughed at for almost being a fool with this crooks. They run robbery business here on tourist from other countries n outsiders.
