I scheduled a 9am appointment to have a bulb replaced in my car. While I waited I rode my skateboard to get a coffee. Came back an hour and 45 minutes later and while I am about to walk in the door the person who checked me in comes out and says he was just about to call me and say they don’t have the bulb and it will be here by noon. I stated I cannot wait that long and to put my car back together, which took 15 minutes. Very confused why I never got a call at 915 am after they took my car apart and realized they didn’t have the bulb. Just wasted 2 hours of my day off with no communication and still no bulb in my car. Also not sure why they wouldn’t have standard volkswagen fog lights on hand, or order one in time for the appointment I scheduled a week and a half in advance, when they can get the part in three hours the day of. Also to make matters worse, I parked my car after coming home and realized the metal coating on my shifter has been cracked and no one told me. Very disappointed with the “service” I didnt receive and the damage done to my vehicle. Will not be back. Also no managers on staff at 1130am on a Tuesday.
Nice people, and they know their cars! I had my yearly inspection and we are good to go! Joel was the first person I met, and he was great. The car was washed and vacuumed, every one was professional and kind - great combination! Thank you!
Had to get my 40k factory required services done the other day on my 2018 GTI. Dealerships are pricey so that’s a downfall of course, and it’s frustrating that the front desk almost Never answers the phones… but Andrew is a good advisor and they made sure to get me a ride with their shuttle driver back to work after I dropped off the car, and sent a link for me to get a free Lyft back out there to pick up my car when I was off work. I appreciated their help and professionalism in making sure my experience was easy!
Jose Guillen was our sales person and he did a fantastic job of listening to what mattered most to us. He even went so far to work a deal that was easier for us, which was buying my current lease that was about to end. He spent several days answering questions, setting up the test drive and working with finance to get us where we wanted to be in terms of numbers. I would recommend Jose to anyone who was looking for friendly, professional and respectful car salesmen, which is kind of like finding a unicorn ;)
I am very disappointed in Gebhardt Volkswagens Management.I had gone through to create my deal online, received an email saying my deal would be 551 / mo. I was super excited with this number and went forward with having my credit pulled. I have excellent credit, and will not have it pulled unless I plan on purchasing, which was my intention.Once I arrived at Gebhardt, I was informed that the price I was emailed, was off by $140, additionally the new car had nearly 4000 miles on it because it was a demo the Manager was driving, who had also had his kids inside of it, and they apparently are quite messy. So not only was the price misrepresented, so was the condition of the car. Your manager was giving me a negligible amount off from the car, and in the end this was not a car I purchased.
My wife had an 9:30 am oil change appointment. Dropped her car off the day before. The service advisor texted her and asked if she wanted a 140.0$ brake flush. We responded no.Day of the appointment we are supposed to receive a call once the vehicle is complete. By 11:30 no call received. We call three times over the next 1.5 hours, leave messages, text back the service advisor. No response. We decided to drive there at 1:00. I arrive and speak with the service advisor that had texted us the day prior trying to up sell the brake fluid service. He was rude from the start, I explained to him that we had called multiple times and texted him. His response was Interesting, implying that I was lying. We asked where her car was, they went into the shop and found out the car was never started. They didnt even look at her car. We purchased the vehicle from Gebhardt and have done all service there. We will not be back here again.Go somewhere that cares about customer service.
We had a great experience purchasing our new Tiguan from Jose. Jose was knowledgeable about the vehicle (yes, this should be a given but isnt these days), informative about our options, but not too pushy. We visited a number of dealerships and ended up returning to Jose/Gebhardt for our purchase because of this.
My wife and I had the pleasure of purchasing a new to us beautiful Tucson Limited Turbo from Josh Curtis at Gebhardt Volkswagen Boulder Colorado. It was smooth sailing from start to finish, paperwork was at a minimum and financing with the help of Ryan took less than 30 minutes. The entire transaction was in a relaxed environment absolutely no pressure. 5 star service by all. If youre looking for a new or used vehicle Gebhardt Boulder should be on your short list.
Had a wonderful experience at Gebhardt today! After spending 4 hours and having a poor experience at McDonald VW, we were pleasantly surprised by Brittanie and her team at Gebhardt! They had the car we were interested in pulled up, specs printed out, and pricing sheet drafted. What you see is what you get. No hidden fees or gimmicks. It was a classy car buying experience for us, a drastic change from how we spent our morning! They offered us $1,000 off MSRP and accepted our private financing. Our experience was fast, succinct, and dare I say enjoyable. Highly recommend Brittanie and her team for your car buying needs!
Two years ago, bought my Volkswagen Jetta from them. The purchasing process was amazingly easy, for my first new car. Since then I’ve gone to them for my regular service. Have been very satisfied with the service received. They have been clear on what’s to be done. A big sign for me was how they repaired a tire for me, without trying to sneak me into a new tire. Love too the free washes my car gets with service. Highly recommend for ones car needs!!!
They need some help with customer service. I called on Thursday to reserve a test drive the next day at Friday at Noon. The sale representative Alex- emailed me saying the car would be upfront and ready. Got there at noon, no Alex and no car upfront to drive. Josh stepped in and cleaned up Alexs mess. The car I wanted to drive was gone and they said it would be back in 30 minutes. So the car final come back, I test drive it and buy it. Sales went smoothly. I was told the car would be ready at 10 am. I show up with my family at 10:15 am. They said the car is not ready. Finally, at 11:10 my new car was brought around. My wife, who was excited about her new car, just ended up driving home with the kids in my Subaru. She wasnt happy at all....My point... two major miscommunications happened, which are unacceptable on a sale like this. If you say a car will be there and someone makes a point to come test drive it.. have it ready. If someone buys a car and you tell them it would be ready at 10 am.. it should be ready at that time.
Friendly & helpful staff. ID.4 is good, but I need something less expensive. Bought LEAF.
Would give 0 stars if I could. I wish I would have read all the other 1 star reviews about the service department here. Took my car in to get the windshield replaced and the contractor that they use to fix windshield did a shoddy job and left a mess on the rearview mirror. The windshield whistles at highway speed and the rearview mirror jiggles since it was improperly adhered to the windshield.Brought the car back in to get that fixed. Was supposed to hear back around 5 PM, but 5 PM came around and no call. Called the service department to be told that the glass contractor was MIA and my car had not been fixed. Completely unprofessional and ridiculous that it they would need 3 attempts to replace a windshield. AVOID THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT HERE AT ALL COSTS!!!! Unless you like having your time and money wasted. Will also be following up with a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, since there needs to be more serious consequences for there inactions and ineptitude.
The service department has taken a turn for the worst. The representative I had did all he could and did his best. However best practice is not their concern. Hope to see it change in the future.
We have a pretty pleasant experience with Volkswagen Gebhardt. They provide honest work and explanations about the car. They are kind. They even offered a free ride to go back home. I definitely suggest you visit this business in the first place if you have a Volkswagen so you can avoid fooling around from mechanic to mechanic.
I when to test drive the new IQ4 and they had no inventory. they didnt have the AWD and drove the only RWD in the lot instead. In my opinion this is the best small eSUV you can buy. Very smooth with lots of room in the cabin. The info system is not that easy to use at first but after you play with it you will be fine. The only downside it takes 3 days to charge on 120v?!?! Who wants a 50K SUV that you cant use everyday, unless you pay extra to install the fast charger that takes the night to charge. plus the range is not much about 200 for the RWD and the AWD a little more to about 250.
Josh Curtis was awesome to work with through my car buying experience! He made sure to focus on all the small details that I asked for which allowed for a smooth process overall. The entire staff has been extremely pleasant to work with. I chose this dealer out of all the others for my new VW because they were personable and cared about me as an individual. I recommend checking out Gebhardt VW over all other dealers in the state. They will take care of you like family. Thank you Josh and team!
We bought a car from Josh Curtis and left a rave review but he typed that! There was a small area on the rear passenger door that the manager had arranged to be fixed. I was given a loaner car to use whims mine was in the shop. One of the tires was low and kept needing to be filled. By the last day it was totally flat. Josh brought my car to me in Greeley Friday night at 7pm then had to drive the loaner back on the back roads going slow. Way above and beyond. Josh and the team at Gebhardt are fantastic. Will definently go back and will highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new car! Thank you Josh. Mary Teglovic-Smith
I went in to buy a car. Loved the car but wasnt able to purchase it due to unforseen reasons. Brittany was very helpful. Would recommend asking for her. She was very helpful even offered to help me find another car.
Buying a car is not what I would call a fun experience, you have to be ready for a day negotiating session. Assuming you want to negotiate that is, no judgment for people who want to pay sticker. That said this was great experience, I was working with Jerry, he found me a great car, negotiated a deal I think we were both happy with, and got me out the door in a reasonable amount of time. The free weekly car washes dont hurt either. If your looking for a Volkswagen, or even if your not sure, I think Gebhardt is worth a stop, and definitely ask for Jerry.
We had an excellent car buying experience at Gephardt Volkswagen! Brittanie took the time to answer all of our questions and help us with the process. Volkswagen has a great certified pre-owned program. We will definitely return the next time we are in the market for a new or used car!
Wayne was great to work with. He understood all of what I needed done at this time.
Genuinely professional. Great vibe.
I bought a used car from here back in October 2020 and I wish I hadn’t. The car was high mileage so it couldn’t have a warranty that should have been my first red flag, over 120,000 miles for $9,000. Since having the car each month has been a different problem and I’ve had to replace all the coils and plugs costing roughly costing 2000 with diagnostics and parts. Now the car won’t start and I’m going through the whole process of figuring what is wrong now. Be cautious of the used cars here go to a trusted mechanic and have them look deeply into the car. Do not trust this dealership with it’s used cars.
I have no idea how this shady Dealer has 5 stars on Google. This is by far the worst dealer Ive ever purchased a car from. Weeks ago I drove down to Boulder from Parker and purchased a brand new 2021 VW Atlas. Before I left the site I asked them if there is a return option if the car doesnt work for my growing family, and they said you have 3 days and 250 miles. I called and emailed them that night and asked if I can return the Atlas and get my Truck back and the store manager John Tynan told me, sorry, the truck was pre-sold and there was nothing he can do to unwind my deal (because he didnt want to). Im not someone to ever return cars, but this was just not as great of a fit as I thought.Anyways, weeks later, my truck is listed for sale at their dealership and they are asking for $57k for my now used truck with over 5000 miles, which is almost $10k over KBB. Aha, pre-sold my you know what. Not only did they lie to me about the return and stuck it to me, theyre trying to stick it to other buyers and make over $10K on someone.Do yourself a favor and go buy your next vehicle elsewhere, where they have honest people and not a shady a$$ dealer like Gebhardt VW.
When I decided I was ready to find a car to replace my vehicle I did my research and determined what I was specifically looking for.Thru another dealer, I learned that Gebhardt VW had one on their lot. When I called I spoke with JC in Gebhardt Sales Dept. who told me all about the car. The initial description did not 100% match what I was looking for-I was just about to say thank you and go on to the next dealer like I had done with many other similar calls I had made.. I would have called the next dealer hoping to find my specific dream car!But JC in sales department took time to describe the car and sent pictures. He was able to give me a completely different vision of this vehicle and convinced me to come look at the car. Im so glad we did.We took the car out for a test drive and went back to the dealership and worked up a great deal on a beautiful car. They took our other vehicle on trade and gave us a very fair offer on it. We appreciated that JC stayed a little late that evening to work with us. We came back the next morning and all the paperwork was ready to sign and we completed the transaction in a very timely manner.W left Gebhardt VW in Bolder Co. with a new vehicle and new friends. We will always keep their dealership in mind when looking for a vehicle and will gladly refer our neighbors, family and friends assuring them that Gebhardt Volkswagen in Bolder is a car dealership above and beyond the others for dealing with you as they would their only family. With your interests and safety in mind.A special thank you to JC for keeping in contact and following up on details per our agreement.
I cannot say how positive my experience was here. Brittanie Kim is an experienced, supportive, and creative representative who went above and beyond for me. Ryan worked with her to personalize financing to fit my needs. I’ve bought many cars over the years, primarily Volvos and Volkswagens, and my experience here is in the top ten.
Brittanie is awesome and thank you Gebhardt team
Tomas was absolutely amazing to work with. He worked hard to make sure I got the best deal on my car. He also went above and beyond with his time and dedication to make it happen fast and smooth. I highly recommend him and this dealership! Great car too. Atlas 2021 v6!
Don’t ever buy a Volkswagen or from Volkswagen. The service is very lack luster and the uncaring attitude doesn’t make it better. I’ve added photos of the personal touch my car got here. Scratches and adhesive residue from using a floor covering to adhere to my drivers side window. These guys did not even reassemble the parts the removed. $320 plus two tows $85 and $165 this joke of a service department couldn’t even throw out the trash they left on my floor board. Awesome work guys but don’t worry Volkswagen lives up to their dishonest and corrupt business model. Selling junk they can’t fix a mistreated their customers.
Extremely happy with our experience at Gebhardt VW. They have a wonderful sales team that was extremely helpful with answering all of the questions we had. We had one of the most hassle free car buying experiences thanks to Aaron and Tomaso. They also do a great job with Covid precautions. Highly recommend!
Terrible experience at this dealership today. We were in the process of financing a car when they informed us that someone else was there to buy it. They had told us when we started the paperwork that they would honor first come first serve even though they knew someone else was coming to look at the same vehicle. We were under the impression that we were going to purchase this vehicle today and bring it home. The management team was so unprofessional that they couldn’t even come out of their office and own up to their mistake. The salesmen was thrown back and forth as the middle man the whole time. Such a waste of mine, my husbands and our two small children’s time today. We will not be returning to this dealership.
We worked with Tomaso Lamanna at Gebhardt to buy our most recent car. It was by far the easiest car-buying experience of our life! We highly recommend Gebhardt; Tomaso and his staff were great communicators, professional, and always happy to answer our many questions in a straight-forward manner. We felt valued as customers and received excellent care overall.
Ive worked in a sales environment for years, and have high expectations for these types of transactions. I can honestly say that Gebhardt VW surpassed any/all expectations I had with timely correspondence, honest feedback, and thoughtful customer service. From the first inquiry, John Tynan & Aaron Bergen won my business by ensuring I was getting the vehicle that I wanted that was within my budget. You could tell this wasnt just a transaction to them - they actually cared about how everything would work for me & my family. On top of it all, they were very respectful / thoughtful of social distancing when finalizing the deal, making sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Not only does my family love the car - we believe we found a life-long partnership with the dealership. Thank you!
Been going here for years, great for your VW whatever model you have. Prices are comparable with other dealerships
Pleasure working with Alex, John, and Adam. Very patient with all of our questions, great price and service!Thank you again
Wayne is the best! He and the entire tech team takes amazing car of me ensuring my car is always running at its best.
Terrible experience, was in for a warranty fix for my steering wheel and had the car given back to me not properly put back together, the steering wheel was not straight and would veer to the left if you held it straight. Brought it back the next day, they looked at it with their best dude and told me there wasnt anything more they could do about it and that it was within spec. I took the car home, bought the 12# triple square socket needed to remove the steering wheel, took it apart myself and put it back together properly all within 20 minutes and it drove straight again (I am 24 and have no proper mechanic training and just looked it up on youtube.) This is my second bad experience with the mechanics at gebhardt vw, they are uncaring for the work they do and the people at the desks will lie to you and make it sound like they are trying their best, I would not recommend them to anyone and I myself will not be going back.
My daughter just bought her first car at Gebhardt Volkswagen. I made one simple call to Jason Villa he found exactly what she was looking for, got her approved and Within 24 hours she was driving off the lot! The entire process was seamless, no pressure and very professional. If you are considering a new (or used) car I cant recommend Jason Villa and his team at Gebhardt VW enough! We will definitely be back!!
Customer service in the service department is terrible. Ive been there 4 times now and I have consistently had rude, snobby service reps. The last time I stood in the service center waiting to talk to a rep. 3 reps had no customers and were not on the phone. 1 was on the phone with a customer. One of the available ones asked if I had been helped. I told him I had an appointment. He looked it up and said the guy who was busy on the phone would help me when he is done. After 5 minutes the guy on the phone finished and walked out of the building. So I waited and waited until the next available rep walks up to me and asks if I had been helped.Again we went through the same process as before. Wait for the guy who isnt even in the building. Seems pretty inefficient to have 3 guys sitting around and 1 guy doing the work. Reminded me of the TSA line at the airport. Finally, my rep walks back into the building, and we get everything squared away for my oil change. He said his express lane would take about 3-4 hours. Yes 3-4 hours for an oil change that I can do in 15 minutes. So I head to work, 5 hours pass and still no word. I call them and get the usual rude snobby rep on the phone telling me you should have told us you need it done sooner. I feel the 4-hour window they had to do a simple task was plenty of time. After this trip I will go out of my way to find a different VW service department that has the slightest touch of customer service.
We leased our VW from a different dealership in Colorado and were not happy with the process. We contacted that same dealership about purchasing our VW at the end of the lease term, and again were unimpressed. I contacted Gebhardt VW, and ended up using them to purchase the car, and the process was awesome - I will use them moving forward, and highly recommend them.
All in all, the experience was pretty good, although my salesman requested my car key to check the VIN #. In reality, it was to allow the used car manager to drive my car around the block! Additionally, my car smelled like cigarette smoke and I hate that smell! Wish they could have been honest with me which would have allowed me to set the parameters!!
Awesome experience getting my oil change! Very nice, spacious and clean waiting area. Adam Wells took great care of me! Thank you! I will be back!,
I took my car in for an oil change. Started off great with a 3 hr estimate and a free Lyft back to work. I started calling after the 3 hour window had elapsed as this was New Years Eve and they would not be open the next day. I left 3 VMs, never got a return call. I was stranded at work and had to get an Uber home. They held my family vehicle for 2 days over a holiday, wrecking personal plans. I started calling and leaving VM when they opened back up on Saturday. No return calls. Eventually I got the initial person who answers the phone to go back to service and see what was going on. They found my car in a wash bay. The employee had left work without signing my car off (from what I was told) They gave me 45 minutes to come get it (from my home 35 mins away) as he was leaving early and wouldnt be open on Sunday so if I couldnt make it they would have my car for another 2 days. I got another ride back to the dealership, when I arrived no apologies, just a bill and my keys. Then I could not find my car, and that was because it was still sitting in the wash bay. The service tech pulled it around, it was not washed? And the interior was all wet (presumably from disinfectant). Terrible experience and no one there seemed to care much.
Had a great experience! Scott Wilkinson and Jason villa were huge helps!Would highly recommend buying from them, I’ll be coming back again.
My service advisor Wayne Carmichael was efficient as always, got my car in and serviced in the time I allotted for servicing of my vehicle, he explained what was done and what I will need have done in the future.
Great salesmen helped Me with connectivity issue. Took the time to.resolve and answered all questions.
Perfect experience purchasing a vehicle from Sawyer at Gebhardt Volkswagen! The car was spotless, all maintenance was complete, and he had the paperwork and everything about the deal organized and ready. Couldn’t be happier!
Im a single mom and I have been going through a nightmare with your Service department, and have had a falling out with the manager Joe Masiden who will no longer talk to me or call me back regarding my claims.Aside from the fact that I was sold a vehicle that has been in the repair shop longer then Ive owned it, my new car, which im being forced to keep because no one will entertain the idea of standing behind the VW name and the Boulder Gebhardt reputation, and putting me in a car worth the $15,000 dollars I just loaned out thru Wells Fargo:(To add to the mechanical heartbreak of my first big purchase, while my car has been in the service department, they called to tell me they no longer recommend the clear bra that they up-sold me, 4 days prior. When I asked why, they told me that the dent and scratches I caused to my front end would need to be repairs first.... Of course this caused me GREAT concern being that there wasnt a dent when I bought it, or when I dropped it off for service. I inspected my car along with the loaner car before I left. I am debating on filing a claim with progressive and hoping they will fight for me to get this damage fixed by your dealership, whether someone ran into it while in the parking lot, or something happened while in the care of the mechanics, I did not cause this damage and should not be held liable for the cost to repair it. I also have $890.00 worth of TINT and CLEAR BRA that I dont know what happened too:(Ive been so upset and worried that I may have made a HORRIBLE mistake by coming to your dealership:( The Car-fax showed ALL services and maintenance was done at your dealership, along with it only having 22k miles for a 2013.... why didnt someone inform me of the Transmissions issues? Car-fax showed at 9K miles they were check the power-train and computer modules:( Why am I stuck with a certified Lemon? Why and I stuck with damage and no tint or bra as promised? The warranty, which I bought last minuet, THANK GOD, is rebuilding 5th gear AND reverse! how can this happen at such a reputable dealership?I scheduled a live phone call for tomorrow at 11am with Tom Martino, I requested legal advise thru Abbney, Riggs and Shields Law Firm and had to get an estimate on front end damage that I didnt cause:( PLUS im stuck with a beaten up transmission that I didnt cause either. Im reaching out to the BBB and making a review on Google. Im devastated at the treatment Ive been receiving, and feel completely blind sided and lie too.PLEASE MAKE THIS RIGHT.*UPDATE*1 star to 4 *After 3 weeks of being in the shop and discussing this matter with 3 different managers. Tom the Service Manager was finally empathetic in my situation. He was understanding in the fact that the transmission issues should have been fixed prior to being on the sales floor, he worked on my behalf to get the damages repaired, being that I didnt cause the damage, and he helped keep Volkswagen reputation in tact by completing the promised services I paid for when I purchased this car. I am happy to say that I am excited to drive my new car and make it mine. I am pleased that they worked with me and did the right thing as a reputable business! Thank You to Tom! Kudos.
Excellent service from Ken, Zach, and Andrew, at Gebhardt VW, thank you guys so much! My suspension finally feels good again!
Love Gebhardt! After a really bad experience with Emich I decided to go here to get a 2019 Golf R could not be happier seriously great sales team and everyone was welcoming definitely earned my business and will always say good things!
Amazing staff and very easy to work with! Will continue to buy from them!
Overall we were very satisfied with our experience at Gebhardt Volkswagen. We love our orange Beetle, along with all the newer safety features. We would definitely recommend this dealership to others. Our salesman Zach was easy going and helpful. We will be using this dealerships service department for any future needs. ~Steve & Carolyn Henninger
As a woman Ive had some bad experiences in the past with car repair/service places treating me condescendingly. When I moved to Boulder I needed work done on my Tiguan, and I happened to get an appointment with Wayne Carmichael at Gebhardt. Now, Wayne is the only one I will work with.Wayne has always showed me respect, kindness and patience. He is always honest with me when it comes to work that needs to be done and what can wait. When I needed new tires this past winter he took his time going over my choices and he gave me his honest opinion, and I never felt like he was trying to upsell me on something I didnt need.Recently I came in to have my rear brakes replaced and some other work done before taking a road trip to Wisconsin. When I mentioned my trip he made sure my car was completely looked over and inspected to insure that I would have safe travels.I always walk out feeling confident with the services I receive from Wayne and Gebhardt and highly recommend them.
Kevin was hands down, the most professional salesperson that I worked with while looking for a car for my daughter. What a pleasant experience to work with him! Thank you Gebhardt AND Kevin for a great experience. No matter what car my daughter decides upon, I would most definitely recommend your dealership to anyone. Thank you for being great at your job Kevin.
I called earlier this week to inquire about an oil change, as most dealers tend to have a quick lube lane these days. Gephardt VW does not, so they had me schedule an appointment. Ok, no big deal. When we showed up, apparently our appointment meant nothing. We were told that our oil change would now take two hours as other customers had arrived before us? Since its a new car, and we already booked the time, we decided to just keep the appointment and went for a walk. Two hours later, we come back and they havent even touched the car, its still where we parked it. The service advisor told us we were next - but why? What did that appointment mean? Apparently nothing to Gephardt. To make matters worse, a small grab handle broke in the car at 4 months and 4500 miles, and somehow thats not included under the new car warranty? To summarize, if you dont mind waiting three hours for a $100 oil change when you have an appointment, I guess Gephardt might be for you. We however need to find a service department that values our time as much as they apparently value theirs.
Dont ever buy parts from this dealer, Had to call after three weeks of not receiving a call to say my part has arrived. Employee told me that they have to ask another dealer to order the part for me.?? for a simple relay for the AC.
This is the first new car Ive bought from a dealer in 30 years and Ive already recommended Sawyer Weiler and the team at Gebhardt to several neighbors. They were honest, respectful and thorough. Thank you one and all for making this transaction the most stress-free car purchase Ive ever had.
Trash. Took my car for service and got it back looking like they drove it through a salt flat, dirty, and smelling like cigarettes. They also lied and told me my emergency brake doesnt work when it definitely does lol, and it took them all day to replace spark plugs. This place is a joke
Tomaso, Jose, and everyone at Gebhardt is very helpful.
This dealership is on it!!! They found exactly what I wanted and its even better then I thought it would be.... Zack the sale guy is top notch and even the GM was really personable as well as knowledgeable about their products! Plus they met my schedule after a almost 2hr drive...
I bought my first car at this dealership and they are awesome. I had an all around a very good experience. I talked to rich moss who showed me the cars I was interested in. I found him to be very honest and a helpful person. On that particular day, we had already been to many dealerships and were tired of their usual nonsensical ways. Which is why this was a pleasant surprise. We actually made our decision fairly quickly. We were given enough time to think and the car we bought was very clean, certified and in great condition.Rich explained us many things about the vehicle and was very engaged throughout the process. I honestly- would love to buy my second car here too, simply because I can be certain I will be treated right. Rich checked in on us the next day as well to make sure things are looking good and offered us his direct contact as well, in case there is ever any issue. That was a very helpful gesture on his part. I have already recommended this to two more of my friends who are in the market.
We had a great experience dealing with Aaron. He understood what we were looking for and was able to meet our needs. We were in and out in no time at all with a great new Tiguan. Thank you
While visiting this area from louisiana, our 2019 beetle developed a problem and could not be driven. I contacted Gebhardth service adviser Adam and set up an appointment and had it towed there. My car was repaired very promptly and even got a free wash. I could not be anymore pleased with my experience. Thanks to Adam.
Great Service Department! I went here for the first time and was amazed by Wayne’s customer service. I just had an oil change and a small recall but he did an amazing job making sure everything I needed was taken care of. I live in Estes Park and used to go to the VW/Audi/Porsch dealership in Ft Collins but I will definitely be coming back to Gebheart from now on.
As others have said, if you must use this dealer, get what is promised before you leave; if you have a choice, go somewhere else. I purchased a car from Aaron Bergen in January 2020. I have spent the last 5 months (far beyond a reasonable time frame) trying to get Gebhardt to hold up their end of our contract. As the customer I have had to initiate every communication and still have not been given what I am owed per our contract. I have contacted three people at their dealership, including a manager (John Tynan) and they all say they’re taking action but put no proof behind their words. Two of them have outright stopped responding to my emails. I am still owed $470 by them, despite having reached out very patiently over many months. I would not recommend this dealership.
Just called me back to tell me that they will not service the 2016 egolf they sold me because they dont have a technician to work on egolfs. Hint: it is bad business to sell cars that you cant service. Surprising that Gebhardt would not know this. Gebhardt itself is sending me to its competitors. Go figure.
My daughter just moved to Boulder and had an issue with her key - it wasnt starting the car. She dropped into their Parts dept. and the fantastic staff at Gebhardt swapped batteries out for her on the spot, did not charge her, and shes back in business. Its really nice knowing there is a no hassle, helpful dealership my daughter can patronize when her Jetta needs service. Gebhardt earned her business today!
Kevin Bruce was incredibly helpful. He was honest, not pushy, and was able to get me out the door with a loan in a reasonable amount of time. I am extremely pleased by the level of service I received.
Bought my car here 2 years ago, very simple transaction.Just had to get a wheel replaced and it was smooth and simple thanks to Wayne and Joe.
My husband and I purchased an Audi about 2 years ago and were sold a warranty that was misrepresented to us. Basically, the salesperson lied and told us the warranty would cover things that it doest not actually cover. Beware of deceptive sales people here. We dont live in the area anymore and have been calling every week for about 10 months with no response. Countless unreturned calls and voicemails later, we are still paying monthly for this warranty. At this point we will have to drive across the country to this dealership to have this sorted.
I cant say enough about the service that I received at Gebhardt. I spoke with Wayne about the stress of driving around on a low tire after being told by my dealership (Toyota) that I would have to take my car to a tire store. I had a screw in my tire. I was able to buy all new tires at a great price! I was also able to have my windshield replace at the same Time! What service. The shop crew took great care of my vehicle in a timely manor. My car came back to me washed, sparkling clean Windows! The service team are very professional and Wayne was awesome!! You have my business forever!
Judith at the front desk, ( i forgot her name ) but the nice lady at the service counter and parts guys are all super cool! recommend getting any and all oem needed parts from these guys!!
I cant honestly express how amazing of an experience buying a car from Gebhardt Volkswagen in Boulder was. When buying a used car, you really dont know what youre going to experience, or how good of a deal youre going to get, and that can be super scary. I worked with Sawyer Weiler on finding the right used car for me, and the experience was much different than what Ive ever experienced. Rather then ruthlessly selling the car to me, he simply informed me on what the car had to offer, gave me the keys, and let the car sell itself. There was no pushiness, no acts or fake feeling interactions, just a genuinely good person hoping to equip a customer with the best vehicle for them, at the best price. The lot and the showroom were exceptionally beautiful, and all the staff from financing, sales, managers, and even the receptionist were so friendly and helpful that I almost didnt even want to leave. I got my dream car at an incredible price, and I will never recommend any other VW dealership after this experience. I know this seems like a super over the top and glowing review, but they really deserve it.Thank you for everything Gebhardt VW,-Roman Bost
Honest Sales people here. Chandler was upfront and very cool!Update: Travis in services needs a raise because he provides the best customer service and really went above and beyond for me! He really levied all my worries and got me up and running really quickly! Thank you!
Gebhardt Volkswagen in Boulder is always so incredibly helpful to me. They communicate effectively and genuinely care about my needs. My car, whether it simply needs an oil check or is having engine problems, Gebhardt without a doubt gets me in at my convenience always within a week, if not within a day or two. All staff is welcoming and helpful, the waiting room is clean and comfortable. The same people greet me on a first name basis. Always a five star visit! Thanks, Stefan!
Wayne is always my contact for the service department. He and the team do a great job.
Put whatever coolant they want in any car
We were on a vacation to Breckenridge from Minnesota when our vehicle broke down outside of Keystone; ultimately a destroyed transmission. Gebhardt accepted our van, diagnosed the problem and pulled out all the stops to ensure we were able to get our van fixed and back before we were to go home. Our service tech worked tirelessly to order parts, fit us into the schedule and ensure we had a rental if necessary to get home in the event the vehicle could not be completed on-time. The service department really went the extra mile to ensure our van was fixed under an extremely tight timeline. We were fortunate to have found Gebhardt, and are extremely appreciative & grateful of all their efforts to get us on the road to home!
Excellent, fast, transparent, and informative service. Super professional and helpful when we need a quick turn-around. A+ performance!
Will not respond to any calls after they have leased the car. Terrible customer service. Was told my plates would be there, never responded to me, never followed up to my multiple calls and emails. Highly recommend going elsewhere.
After totaling my car in a horrible accident, I was facing a terrifying diagnosis of malignant cancer in twelve tumors accidentally discovered by XRays in the ER. In addition, I was injured in the accident and in constant pain. As you can imagine, the last thing I wanted to do was go car shopping. From the moment I walked in the door, it was a pleasant experience. The team catered to my schedule in between Dr appointments and made me feel like their only customer that day. I highly recommend Jose, he was our sales person. He was knowledgeable, attentive to my needs and just down right friendly. We also worked with Tomaso, the GSM. He was awesome. Everyone employee that we met at this dealership was complimentary of their boss Tomaso. He provides leadership for his team and teaches ethical behavior by example. Always do the right thing, then add a little more. We worked with Ryan in finance, he was also knowledgeable, friendly, and was not pushy at all. It was so refreshing to be at a store where everyone was honest, ethical, got along and had fun together. The energy in the store was uplifting and bright. This starts with leadership. Tomaso has created a wonderful team of happy people, helping people. I believe that all three men sincerely care about me. They addressed all of my concerns from my accident and helped me find the right car that met all of my needs. All three of them went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I have new friends as a result of a horrible accident. Gebhardt VW was the silver lining of my accident. Thank you Jose, Tomaso and Ryan! You have a whole lot of good karma coming your way!
Evan Robinson is one of the most disrespectful and unethical employees I have encountered in my many year of servicing my German cars. He tried so hard to prove my claim wrong but ended up proving himself wrong and still continued his disrespect towards me. I recommend working with anyone besides Evan when going to the service department at Gebhardt. What a disgrace he is to the company and the other Volkswagen employees.
It has wonderful employees and excellent service.
The salesman that we worked with was quite pushy, and he actually tried to argue that a fleet/rental vehicle is better maintained than a car that is individually owned (ha!) But, at the end of the day, we did our research, negotiated a fair price over the course of a few days, and we love the vehicle we purchased. Once it actually came time to sign the paperwork, we were in-and-out in a record 30 mins. Over all decent experience.
Im not one to write a review unless Im really impressed or moved by a business or individual. In this case it was both!! Tomaso embodies the true essence of professionalism and kindness in salesmanship. I felt his true and genuine desire to help and please. Hes one of a kind, keep him close!! Truly blown away by him. Thanks!
Tomaso was the salesman I worked with over at Gebhardt. I love Volkswagen vehicles and was use to leasing them. I went into Gebhardt back in August of 2016 and was not overly pleased with the salesperson I came into contact with and had no intention of coming back. However, this week, I decided to give Gebhardt another chance as I was looking to get out of my lease and into something I could own. I was not expecting to walk out of the dealership purchasing a car ...but I did. Tomaso was cordial, honest, and always seemed to have my best interests at heart. He definitely changed my opinion of Gebhardt and kept me as a loyal Volkswagen customer. I do not foresee myself shopping for a car in the near future but should I come into contact with anyone who is in search of a vehicle, I will recommend Tomaso.
This review is for the service side of the dealership. Scheduled an oil change at 10:15 a.m. ($110) and they said I can get my car back at 5 p.m. 7 hours for an over-charged oil change? Not cool
Our saleswoman Beverly was amazing and did a great job but when it came to paying for the car we were given the run around. We waited close to an hour and told we were next. We then watched them bring someone else into the room and were told it would be another 30 minutes. It wasn’t until we decided to leave they brought us back in immediately to pay.
Awesome place! They worked with my budget, time frame, and got me the car I needed for my lifestyle. I was introduced to everybody at the shop and was treated with great respect.
Everyone was helpful and informative. They were able to accommodate my time constraints and take care of my maintenance in a hassle-free and smooth manner. The tools they provide for scheduling, reminding, and preparing for maintenance are definitely valuable to the busy professional. My personal rep was Stefan, who was extremely helpful and accommodating. I look forward to the next trip. Thanks all for the help, and I advise anyone considering somewhere to go to give Gebhardt Volskwagen in Boulder a good look.
David Raines was an amazing guy to work with. His personality, professionalism, and customer service are second to none! Rickey Valdez in finance was just as great. I got to work with two awesome guys and got a great car at an amazing price. This is the place to go for your vehicle purchase!
It is always a pleasure bring my car in for service. Stefan takes great care of it. He is especially good at explaining what needs to be done, what has been done and how it will work after I take it home. Good at answering my questions, too. Thanks!
Everyone was very accommodating at the dealership. Chandler Wroten was my salesman & I couldnt have asked for someone better! He was willing to show me all different types of cars until I found one I loved. Buying a car takes time, but they put your needs first. I would recommend this dealership to any of my family and friends!
I made an appointment to check out the inspection light in my dash and ask about android auto. The service tech fixed the inspection light super quickly no problem. A salesman (I think his name was Aaron) sat down in the car with me and made sure my phone connection was working before I left. All in all I couldnt have asked for a better dealership experience.
Ask for Stefan -- hes very dedicated to seeing his customers vehicle issues through to completion and has an open line of communication. Even for prolonged repair needs, Stefan (and the rest of the Gebhardt service staff for that matter) were very good about ensuring the customer is constantly provided with up-to-date status and information about their repairs. If you need service on your VW -- go see them.
This is out second BMW we have bought from this dealership. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. We did not mind driving the hour duration and bypassing two other BMW dealerships to get to this one- because the service is unmatched.
