I used Nikola to upgrade a converted Ford Transit 350. The service, price and value were all excellent. Nikola answered all of my questions in advance as well as after the fact and even helped me coordinate and audio upgrade with another provider. Nikola uses simple pricing and reasonable rates which is a huge plus for any job. Anyone on the front range that wants an RV, van or 5th wheel service/upgrade should give Nikola a call!

UPDATE: I had a problem with the solar after winter and the service I received to fix it was phenomenal. I cant say good enough things about this shop! I hired Boulder Nomadic to extend the top on my van, add solar, a fan and LED lighting. He did an amazing job considering all of the extra obstacles thrown in because of COVID. Strong worth ethic and stands by his word - both rare things to find anymore with many businesses. I would highly recommend.
Nikola tore apart and completely redid my Sprinter camper van. When we dropped the van off, it was rough! Poorly built, poorly insulated and just a mess. He took the time to start from scratch on 95% of the build and made it look like a completely different van. It looks so much better than I couldve ever pictured! He even went above and beyond with many little things around the van that make life so much simpler when living full time in a small space! He was very responsive, professional and knowledgeable on all aspects of the build! Couldnt be happier with the work he did. Thank you Nikola!!!!!

When building a camper van, or repairing a RV in my case, it can be very hard to find a trustworthy, knowledgeable and fair mechanic. Nikola meets and exceeds all of these standards! He was able to properly address my concerns about my electrical system which was unsafe and inefficient. He was right on schedule with everything and established great communication throughout the whole process, along with a follow up! Nikola installed my external propane tank & propex heater, hooked up the heater and range/oven, constructed a tongue and groove panel for the sliding door, and did trim work along the floor of my Sprinter van. He was a pleasure to work with and is very professional. He listens and asks questions. He does quality work. The trim piece he made for my floor edge required difficult miters on the aluminum brackets. He constructed this with great fit. He was responsive and worked hard to finish the work 1 week prior than anticipated.
Nikola is fantastic. Hes really knowledgeable about all aspects of van construction. Hes got a background in building science, so he knows how to think through details that really matter, like condensation issues (particularly important for me, since Im extremely sensitive to mold). Hes comfortable collaborating, if youre doing some of the work yourself. Hes also just really sweet and pleasant to work with. Plus, hes got that oh-so-rare quality of showing up when he says he will! I cant recommend him highly enough.
Nikola is a former employee (as a building scientist, always a hard worker) and I had him do several projects on my Sprinter conversion. His fees are reasonable, and hes really knowledgeable!

It has been a real pleasure working on my Transit Camper Van conversion. with Nikola this Fall. He did all my electrical, solar, and Espar heater work. We had some issues with the Espar heater, turned out to be a factory setting or program. Nikola was great at turning over every stone to get to the bottom of it and then went out of his way on multiple occasions to get it dialed in. He went over and above, was a great communicator, punctual, knowledgable, and skillful.
