I seldom take the time to write reviews on products or services. But the great experiences I have had with Boulder Bump Shop on two occasions prompted me to let others know my opinions. From the first appointment for the appraisal of damages until the car was perfectly repaired and finished and right on schedule, the process was convenient, fast, and most efficiently carried through. Highly recommended

This place is the best place. They always do a great job at auto body repairs, painting, communicate well with repairs, costs, and completion. The paint jobs are also outstanding. They even helped set up rental cars also with the drop off and pick up of car. They really go the extra mile. Thanks

I just dropped off my car for repairs this morning, so I will post again once work is completed, but so far this team is seamless! They have been very kind and professional and extremely organized, even coordinating with the rental car company for me. It has given me great comfort after being in an accident to have their guidance and assistance and taking that burden from me.

After I got into an accident a few weeks ago, the driver’s side wheel well of my vehicle was damaged. The Boulder Bump Shop did an excellent job of coordinating with my insurance company to make sure the repair process was quick and effortless. I really appreciated that because the accident unearthed some personal anxiety and I was so relieved to not have to deal with nonsense that often accompanies a vehicle repair. My car was ready sooner than I expected, and they even worked with my schedule and held it for me until I was able to pick it up. Upon pickup, they gave me detailed paperwork going over the repairs and checks they had made, as well as a warranty guarantee, which was also a huge relief. The cherry on top? My car was nearly spotless when I picked it up! This was completely unexpected, as I have had a few car repairs before and my vehicle interior was always left in its previous condition. I was blown away. They even washed my floor mats for me. Overall, the service was impeccable. I’d like to thank Elizabeth, Jessica, and Luke for all their help! Also the woman at the front desk was extremely sweet and I didn’t catch her name but she had gauges in the day I saw her. I’d like to thank her as well if she is not already mentioned above!

I brought my Subaru to Boulder Bump after a deer completely messed up the front end/right side. Not only was the work completed a week earlier than the estimate (they originally said 3 weeks and they had it done in 2) it was also sparkling clean, inside and out. Everyone at the shop kept me informed along the way and were super friendly!

I took my brand new 2021 4Runner in to have the tail gate replaced. I was nervous about it…. But it looks amazing. And I was surprised to find that they had thoroughly cleaned the inside of my car as well. If I ever need to I will definitely be using them again

If you’re looking to repair your car’s body damage, look no further! My 2014 4Runner has been here for three different claims and they never disappoint! First time, it was to have my whole rear quarter panel replaced which if you know anything about body work is no easy task. They kept me in the loop through out the whole process and even five years later when there was a problem with the paint they stood behind their work and repainted my entire quarter panel for me no cost! Now that’s a good business! Seeing that they could have easily told me that was my fault and I probably would have had to pay for it out of my pocket. The second and third time were for my front and back bumper. It was the same story, I was informed as to what was happening with my car through the whole process and the work was spot on! Moral of the story is this is the best body shop around.

I took my car in here and they where able to do a estimate that day and set up a date for it to get repaired at the same time! The repairs came out great and my car looks​ like new! My only complaints I would have is that they arent always he best with answering the phone or retuning call but they are very busy and I can see why as there work is great! The only other thing that happened was they would start my car should or hopefully will be done on a certain day then the would call back that day and say they needed another.But they apologized and the work was well worth the wait!

Boulder bump shop had a very reasonable time table and got it done on time. However there were a few things they didn’t do quite right. There was one run on my deck lid and a more than a few my on the underside of my “spoiler”. The clear coat had more orange peel than from factory so it didn’t match. The final thing they messed up was not plugging my tpms sensor back in. I wasn’t going to let them have the car for another week to plug in a sensor so I had to pull the rear bumper and do it myself. Most people wouldn’t see this but being a body technician in training and car enthusiast it’s all I see... 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Luke coordinated the work for my insurance claim from start to finish with professionalism and graciousness. He worked hard to find parts through many suppliers and came up with a new plan when certain items couldn’t be found. He clearly wanted the car to be fixed impeccably. The steps with the insurance company were a breeze with his expertise in handling all the details. Luke communicated with me often and went above and beyond any experience I have had with an auto body shop. I would trust the Boulder Bump Shop with any work in the future. Luke and the team were recommended by a friend when my car was rear ended and I needed a quote for how much it would cost to fix. Insurance ended up totalling it but with Lukes inspection he was able to add value to my truck and I received top dollar from the insurance company. They were polite, on time and very helpful. I would highly recommend and they are my Go-To body shop from now on!

This business is excellent overall! They really worked with me and my older vehicle. I just wanted a partial repaint for certain segments of my Honda and I was able to get a pretty reasonable deal (especially compared to some other quotes I received around Boulder). My CRV looks great now! They even cleaned out the interior very thoroughly before I picked it up. They called me regularly to check in and tried their best not to rack up a lot of extra charges (I had a fair amount of structural damage alongside pealing paint issues). Joe in particular was fabulous to work with. I really appreciated his customer service. Thanks for everything!

We have used the Boulder Bump shop in the past to fix hail damaged and minor body work but on Monday they won our undying gratitude. A friend, visiting from California, was involved in a freak accident with her 2012 Lexus which didn’t damage the mechanics of the car but ripped the entire plastic front and left it bent and flapping. She had to leave for Salt Lake City the next morning so I called the Boulder Bump Shop and they said; “come on down”.In 15 minutes their tech had bent and screwed the front of the car back in place and sent us on our way with 2 bottles of water and CHARGED US NOTHING!It was a good job too because there was a 60 mph crosswind on I-80 the next day and semi trucks and trailers were smashed all along the highway between Cheyenne and Salt Lake. But my friends car held up beautifully. Thanks to the Boulder Bump Shop!

All I can say is WOW: Joe at the Bump Shop went above and beyond for me, and was so kind and patient with me while I had a mini breakdown, haha. I was preparing to move out of state when, of course, I had urgent car trouble. He fixed my poor car in record time and I was able to move without worrying about it breaking down or being dangerous. I got some major hail damage repaired here, and everything was awesome. They originally told me 6+ weeks (which I understand, it was a lot of work) but ended up having my truck done, and beautifully so, in about 3. Jessica was extremely communicative throughout the entire repair process and checked in regularly, which I always appreciate.

Not sure why if I have a diagnosis from another shop I cant get a phone quote. All other surrounding auto shops are happy to provide a rough estimate. Seems like employees need to be better informed as to why this is your process to explain this to customers. Again Im not looking for an exact quote, but Im also not looking to tow a car from shop to shop....

Excellent, honest service, very helpful. Belt moulds cracked on my 4Runner, they walked me through how to do it myself to save some money, wouldn’t accept tips when offered. I was able to buy the parts from Toyota directly, did the rear two myself, and then when I couldn’t get the front two, they helped me install for free. Great guys

When my car got damaged I was dreading having to deal with an auto body shop, but they made everything smooth and seamless. Aside from doing great body work, vacuuming and wiping the interior, and very nicely washing the exterior, The Boulder Bump Shop actually wanted my business. By which I mean that they conducted an assessment/estimate promptly, scheduled, the car, and repaired it. Unlike another local shop that Id begun dealing with (as a repeat customer) that put me off the assessment, never delivered an estimate, and would likely never have scheduled the repair (at ~$1500 it was too little damage and they shouldve just honestly told me that up front). BBS apparently welcomes work large and small.

I went by to see what they could do about a big tire rim piece I had broken off (hitting my garage) - NIssan said the car needed body work first before they could replace the piece because of a dent.Boulder Bump looked at it, did a little rigging, smoothed out the scratches some and put the new rim on (that I had brought with me) in about 15 minutes time - and they didnt even charge me - yep it was FREE!!!They could have easily charged me $100 for their time etc but no. they said have a good day and NO CHARGE !!! About 3 weeks after the purchasing of our car, my husband was rear-ended. We contacted where we bought the car for a suggestion of where to get it fixed, and Boulder Bump Shop was their first suggestion. We dealt with Luke exclusively from the start the the finish. He quickly assessed the damage of the vehicle and was in contact with the insurance company of the lady who hit us immediately. Not only did he assess the damage to the vehicle, he saw damage to the base of our car seat. During his contacts with the insurance company, he got them to agree to replace our car seat, and pay for a rental for immediate use (per his opinion, I would be driving with a 6 month old and he stated that the car was not safe to be doing so.) During the three weeks that they had our car, Luke kept consistent contact with me regarding the status of the repairs as well as the status of his communications with the insurance company. At no point in time did I have to guess what was going on with our car because he was on top of keeping me informed. I am more than just a little happy with Luke, his team, and the quality of work they did to our car; Im ecstatic. My experience with Boulder Bump Shop has been, by far, the best customer service I have received in my entire life. I highly recommend them and will return to them for any future car repairs. They are outstanding.

Ive been a customer of Boulder Bump shop for years. I moved to Denver 6 years ago and I continue to make the drive to Boulder to give them my business.Luke, Dan and the rest of the Boulder Bump Shop team have always gone above and beyond to provide me with excellent customer service.Most recently, I needed a large dent on my front quarter panel repaired. I, of course, called the Bump Shop because I knew they would do the job right. I brought my vehicle in and was promptly provided with a fair, reasonable estimate. Great situation and Boulder Bump Shop went above and beyond, making the whole process more pleasant than I thought possible! Its the only body shop Ill use going forward and I have recommended it to friends and coworkers.I dont know what anybody who gives them a bad review is smokin because they finished early and I got updates as often as I wanted (every few days) on where they were in the process. Luke literally offered to update me however often I wanted (daily, weekly, etc.) and asked how I would like to be contacted (text, phone call, email) and then updated me more than sufficiently. Luke and Hailey took care of everything with the insurance company so that I wouldnt have to talk to them or pay anything other than my deductible.When I needed a rental for a long weekend they arranged everything for me and it was the cheapest rental I have ever paid for; seriously, it was surprisingly affordable and a great value.When it came time to pick up my vehicle (a couple days early, which I knew because they updated me consistently), it was literally so clean and fixed so well that I didnt recognize it. Seriously, I stood in the lot looking for my car when it was right there in front of me. Apparently thats what my car looks like it if nobody runs into me and its super clean. It hadnt been that clean since I bought it.So, youre welcome to not take your car here, but I dont recommend taking it anywhere else.

It took awhile to get an appointment for the repair, but I couldnt be happier with how professional Boulder Bump Shop was in fixing my car. The car looked amazing, and the great detail/wash/vacuum was truly a surprise. I was also very pleased that when I had a question(s) the actual person doing the job was there to answer them, without sounding like I was interrupting him, which I was. Overall, Im very happy with my experience at Boulder Bump Shop. I had originally taken my car elsewhere and spent months on the waitlist, with no communication and not feeling like a priority. At Boulder Bump Shop, my car did spend an extra unanticipated week in the shop due to an issue with some machinery in the shop, but although they were unable to meet my promise date, Im happy with the job they did. All staff were very friendly and open to frequent updates. I would take my car here again if needed.

Boulder Bump has worked on 4 of my cars and it has been a positive experience every time. Most recently, I had over $14,000 in hail damage to my car. My insurance company wrote a check to me after inspecting my car. Boulder Bumps total bill was less than the check. Instead of pocketing the money, they refunded my insurance company the difference. The are reputable and kind in addition to doing an amazing job repairing my car. They also cleaned the car, washed & vacuumed it before returning it to me. They are the silver lining to having to file an insurance claim.

I have a beloved 09 VW Rabbit that I brought in after a big rock pulled off part of the bumper. The body has a lot of hail damage so I was not interested in making anything look perfect. They listened to me and were actually able to get it done days before I expected and for less than 1/2 as much as originally quoted as they were able to repair the original bumper. Had major hail damage from May 2017 storm. They worked with my schedule - I couldnt get the truck to them until Jan 2018 because I needed it for work. Brice went through everything with me to make sure he was clear with the estimate my insurance company gave me. Then he and his crew got my truck back to me ahead of schedule and cleaner than when it went in! They did a great job and they have a warranty on the work they performed! I just hope my insurance company is as efficient in paying them! They have a great customer service, team with Haley and Jaime able to answer questions and handle all my phone calls.

Boulder Bump Shop fixed a repair which done to my van by another shop. I am a disabled customer and I rely on my van. They did an exemplary job, actually the repair they did to the front end looks new, the van looks new and I am a customer that is quite particular about the repair. The front bumper fits exactly and the paint on the bumper and hood matches yes it matches not close, exactly. the joints fit exactly. Well thank you Boulder Bump Shop. You fixed my van the way it should be done.

Very very slow to get an appointment and to fix minimal damage. I brought my car in originally in March after my ex was in a collision. They determined that the car was drivable. This goes to show that the damage wasn’t that bad. Then after waiting 2 months for an appointment, they kept my car in the shop for an entire month. They originally said it would be there a week and then extended the time 3 times. I worked with Haley and only received two updates from her during that month long period. Those updates were really just claims that my car would be done soon. When I called in multiple times no one was able to help me because apparently only Haley had any idea what was going on with my car. I even had to get my insurance guy to call them and push it along. If I hadn’t my car probably would have been there two months for minimal damage. I am unable to rent a car so during this time I have had no transportation other than taking Lyft which was fine the first week, but after a month seriously adds up. Don’t trust this place to fix your car in a timely manor.

WORLD CLASS SERVICE! My wife had an accident in her 2007 Honda Accord. We took it to the Boulder Bump Shop and they took care of it. They gave us a fare price (coming in lower than most of the other body shops in the area) and completed the work when they said they would. My wifes car actually looks better than when we bought it! They even dealt with our insurance company with no problems. -Thanks Boulder Bump Shop!

This auto body shop was recommended by our car dealership after a recent collision I was involved in. We had a lot of confidence in them so we decided to go with them. We dropped off our car and picked up a rental arranged by the opposing insurance company, which was waiting at the on-site car rental agency. The rental was filthy and smoky but we suffered through a week of driving it. When we were told our car was ready for pickup, we anxiously drove to pick it up, only to find that a large part of the promised work had not been completed, which was only discovered after we had to demand the car be washed for inspection because it had been sitting outside and was filthy. After inspecting it and discovering the half-finished job, we demanded a clean rental car and for the rest of the work they had promised to do, be done. So after nearly another week, we were told it was ready and returned to the shop and inspected it. We thought it looked good and took it home, only to discover in the lower light of our garage that a section of paint was botched and there was a dent we hadnt seen before. So, back to the shop again where the receptionist was rude as if we were expecting to have them do more work than the insurance would cover, even though I told her I only wanted the original work to be done right. The car was inspected and we were told it definitely needed to be fixed and he thought it was the clear coat and could be buffed out. So again, we had to be without the car for another few days (didnt ask for a rental again because the second one wasnt much better than the first). The next day we received a call telling us it was discovered that the body work had been botched, not the paint. So a few days later when we returned to pick it up when it was done, at first sight, it looked good. The paint looked good and the dent was removed, but I was unhappy to see scuff marks in several places on the rubber/vinyl bumper that were not previously there. The gal who was talking with us about it said it probably wasnt scratches and would wipe off. She was the receptionist who earlier had been rude but now she was doing everything she could to try and make us happy (too little, too late). She wiped it down and it did look better but obviously someone caused those scuff marks and she only hid them with whatever she wiped it with. She wanted to know if we were satisfied and I said definitely not but I wasnt allowing them to touch my car again. She insisted that she wanted us to be satisfied and I told her if they couldnt get it right in three tries, they didnt seem to be able to do a quality job at all.Do yourself a favor and dont go to Boulder Bump. Youll be sorry.Linda G.

Went here for repairs through insurance that included replacing the front bumper and a headlight. It did take more than a month to schedule, which was a bummer, but once I was in the repairs took only 3 days. The work was seamless!

My husband and I have had a terrible year for our newer cars. I have a 2014 Impreza and he has a 2016 Mazda CX5. He was involved in an accident this past winter and I had an accident late June. We took both cars to Boulder Bump and we live in Breckenridge. We were willing to go out of mountains for the right place to take our cars. Boulder Bump was recommended to us by a co-worker and our first experience with my husbands car was a long wait due to some insurance changes and part ordering, but the end results were well worth it. The car returned looking clean inside and out, and looking like new. There was some back and forth with the communication and updates with his car, but they took their time to do it right. We had a rental/no car for my husband for about 2 months. It got a bit frustrating towards the end, but again, they did the job right and we were very happy with the results and the warranty.My Subaru needed some front end work and had to be towed from Breckenridge to Boulder Bump like my husbands car did. They got it in right away and worked with our insurance company again. It took a little less than a month to get everything done, and I picked up the car last night. The car looked better than before. Luke was great about calling to give me updates and promptly returned my call when I left a message for him. They do great work and I highly recommend them for professional quality body work and repairs.

This was the only place that could get my car in without having to wait weeks to get it looked at. Haley was very knowledgeable and great at communicating how my car was coming along, and was great at answering any questions I had during my experience .

I was recently in a car accident and my car was totaled, from the moment I called Boulder Bump shop, they took me in right away to get an estimate and insisted on calling enterprise themselves because they were genuinely concerned about my safety. The rest of the process moved incredibly swiftly and Luke made it a point to keep in contact with me on a daily basis and made my case a high priority. He went above and beyond and so did his staff and if there is everything anything wrong externally on my new car, hands down Boulder Bump Shop will be the place ill take my car.

Im impressed and grateful for the quality and professionality I have experienced with the Boulder Bump Shop. Ive been in and around Boulder for 25 years. No other body shop comes as highly recommended - and for good reason. Of course theyre not perfect (completion of my last repair was several days late), but I think thats often the nature of the business. They are good in the communication department. Their estimate was within (10%) of the final bill. The quality of the repair is impeccable - as good or better than new. Theyve even done touch up and trim work for me in the past and wouldnt let me pay anything at that time. I dont look forward to needing their services again, but I hope I never have to go anywhere else if/when the time comes.

I brought my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in with a small dent in front of the driver side door. Luke and his team took care of it on the spot in under an hour with their paint-less dent repair. Now you cant even tell it was there! A big thanks to BBS and their staff. I highly recommend these guys.

I had my car vandalized while living on the hill. Somebody broke my passenger side mirror off. After buying the mirror ($35), the labor cost was only $10. What a bargain. This place is honest, quick, and great.They are mechanics so any complaints about their professionalism with customer service I would disregard, but I vouch for their epic-ness.

I would STRONGLY recommend going to another body shop with more respectable business practices. I lost money buying a part that this shop said I needed for my vehicle only to find out I did not need that part at all. However, more frustrating was the fact that despite paying these guys nearly $200.00, I picked up my vehicle with more damage than I dropped it off with. I had a mirror replacement on the book for weeks which was supposed to be a one-day fix, but had to leave my vehicle overnight because they were behind schedule (which I only found out after I called them myself to ask what was going on with my car when it was nearly 5:00 and I hadnt heard from them all day after dropping my car off at 8:30). My vehicle was left out overnight and got hail damage totaling to $1500. I didnt even notice the hail damage until driving home from the shop - when I picked up my car there was no communication of the damage. When I called to ask if they would be willing to negotiate a repair due to the damage caused by their neglect, I was told that I would be followed up with by upper management and never received a call after that. Im sure these guys know how to replace a bumper, but do yourself a favor and give your business to a more reputable and ethical shop that wont be careless with your money, your time, and your vehicle.

An incredibly caring and relatable staff, knowledgable and receptive, I was so grateful for their help and the customer service I found there.I came in with some missing plugs on my girlfriends bumper from a small bump, a prior mechanics lazy finish without parts, and my shoelace holding the underside from dragging. They immediately assessed it, had the technicians grab supplies and re-secure the entire bumper-- it looks and feels better than I have ever seen it. This was all in 20 minutes. And then the two managers who I talked with at the desk walked out and said she didnt need to charge me for the work and parts. It was an incredible help that day, their kindness and assistance struck me deeply as above and beyond.

Staff nice enough when I went in to get my bumper replaced, but the replacement took well over the time they said it would take, and didnt keep me informed about the delay. I left work early and went into the store on the day they had told me it would be done, and they told me they were still missing parts and that I should come the next week. When I called to check on the car, the lady answering the phone was rude and sounded annoyed that I wanted to know what was going on with my car. When I asked her to keep me informed of the progress on my car, which was several weeks behind schedule, she did not. When the bumper was finally on they were still missing a part that took over a week to come in, so I had to get it if work early again and make another trip back in. Would not come back, would not recommend.

I recently experienced hail damage in the spring. I used Boulder Bump Shop for all the repairs, because of the excellent reviews it had received on Google. I could not be more unsatisfied with the lack of communication the staff had. My car was in the shop for 5 weeks, every week I had to initiate multiple phone calls to receive updates on my car. Despite, being told they do updates twice weekly. I spoke with management multiple times regarding my grievances and nothing was improved. The work on my car did turn out, however, when I received it back the seat belts did not function properly and I had to bring it back in for another day of work. The lack of communication felt like pulling teeth repetitively, the receptionist was rude each and every time I called. Unless you have an extended period of time in your work week to call for updates, please please do not bring your car to the Boulder Bump Shop,

Stay away!! Haley (the one that wrote my estimate) at Boulder Bumpshop seems to work with the insurance companies to deny your claim / damages.... I was involved in a hit and run (you’d think an incident that would be quickly resolved with the other insurance company after another driver hit me- was caught-fix damages move forward ) but no....Haley still managed to make a headache by working with State Farm and the issues/ miscommunications she caused has yet to be resolved!! On top of it all, I felt discriminated against with the beyond rude customer service!

Called and asked if I needed an appointment for an estimate. They said no, just come on in ANY TIME BEFORE 5. I show up and they say they cant make quotes after 4 (EVEN THOUGH IT WAS 3:50!!!). They say I can make an appointment for the next day, and turn me away. WHY DIDNT YOU JUST ASK ME TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WHEN I CALLED YOU ASKING ABOUT APPOINTMENTS. WHY DOES YOUR WEBSITE SAY JUST COME ON IN INSTEAD OF YOU NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AHEAD OF TIME. What a waste of time!!!bleh.

So an update on my 2011 Cadillac escalade ext repair so its been over a year. Here is what we are finding now. They had to repair the whole right side of the truck and some uncarriage parts. Now we are finding the lights on the interior doesnt work and has been shorting out the battery. We noticed this when my wife was traveling with our baby and none of lights would turn on other than to front door light when it opened. No switch will turn anythiing on inside. Also i just came across the bed of the truck had a used part and was never painted. I also came across the brand new alarm system that car toys of boulder was asked to install and have found that the remotes are not the same either. Mind you all they had our truck over 92 days and the insurance paid over 18k starting out with a pay out to us at 11500. We also came across lines leaking from the uncarriage that they took to boulder cadillac mccadden. They said that these were prior issues......we were very nice and understanding but i would not refer them. We also went to pick up the truck once and was empty on gas and cost us a fuel pump since they kept it empty and ran it around that way. It was dropped off with a full tank as well. We also have pictures of all issues but BEWARE!

Was told multiple times my car would be available to pickup soon. Eventually, Haley told me I should have my car no later than tomorrow afternoon. The next morning I woke up to an email that said a part that was ordered hadnt arrived yet. I waited 2 more days and called at least 6 times throughout the week and received zero information, except empty promises my car would be ready soon. Do not trust Hailey
