Im from the COS area and this is by far the best rock shop Ive ever walked into! Whoever the (incredibly beautiful) man was who was working that day, was able to quickly identify a stone from just a picture on my phone, when other shops had not been able to! So to the guy who was working Sunday July 25th, you da real MVP!

I loved this place! Visiting from East Coast and felt in love when I saw the beauties inside.As soon as you walk in you will see the difference between this store and others, quality is superb!! costumer service is good and prices are a little bit high, but they have good finds for every budget. Definitely I will come back to this store.

The collection they have here is unbelievable! I’m an avid crystal enthusiast and the owner seemed excited to chat with me about everything they offered. We’re here on a trip, so I wasn’t able to spend too much, but did purchase a golden healer at a very fair price. Some pieces may seem overpriced to the everyday person, but with the clarity and quality offered here, it was super reasonable, especially for their huge pieces. Even if you don’t plan on purchasing, it’s definitely worth stopping in to stare in awe at what nature can create!

I absolutely love this place!!! I am in love with the pieces I got and was so thankful and lucky to be shown everything in store!!! I am definitely going to visit again!!! The man working there had me sanitize my hands and then allowed me to touch items on the clearance table. He was incredibly kind and saw my fascination and interest and even showed me the collections in the back rooms!!!

Went into this shop with hand sanitizer out trying to clean my hands. The woman shop owner was very rude, telling me she needed to see me use it while I was putting it on my hands already. She gave my friend some of their hand sanitizer saying its so we could touch some of the items. Most of the signs say no touching but we needed hand sanitizer? I think towards the end she tried to be nicer but i was already put off. This was my first time leaving the house in months and the first store I went into. It was a miserable experience despite the beautiful stones. I had a panic attack shortly after so I it was a wasted trip. I hope the owners can be a little friendlier to other patrons.

I felt very at home here and found one of the most beautiful herkimer diamonds here. I have been to many crystal and mineral stores across the nation and this place carries superior gems including a variety of rare tourmaline and local Smokey quartz. This place is a gem full of gems. If you are looking for the real deal and not just tumbled stones this is your place

The owner is both incredibly knowledgeable and has a incredible wit. He is always welcoming and knows every stone in his place. They seem to have some of the highest quality pieces around and many unique pieces as well. Always love going in there when Laurens is around for a good deal and a good laugh at no additional cost

When I want to buy a very special gift for someone, this is where I go. The store carries some of the most beautiful crystals, rocks and shells you will ever see outside of a museum. The owner is as knowledgeable about what he sells as a museum curator, and fascinating to talk to. His staff is also up to snuff. This Pearl Street store would be a class act even on Fifth Avenue. Some reviewers have commented on the vibe of this store. Yes, the owner is a bit eccentric - but in the charming, sometimes irascible way of those who deal in fine art, antiques and other collectibles.

If you dont want to be treated like dirt, avoid this store at all costs.

Im an avid crystal enthusiast so this place caught my attention. I walked in to find beautiful crystals on display. Beautiful crystals that cater to a more artistic audience than myself, who uses them for everyday purposes. I didnt get good vibes from this place, unfortunately. Ended up not buying their overpriced tumbled crystals.

This place is truly awesome! It is practically a museum of beautiful rocks and minerals. The owners are knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. And if you dont see what you want, just ask. There may be a specimen waiting in the back. Ive purchased many things from this store, and look forward to doing so in the future.

This was the most unpleasant experience I have ever had in a retail store. The female clerk/owner is incredibly RUDE, condescending and miserable. I am so mad at myself for purchasing anything in this store. I will never walk in there again and would recommend that you find another place to buy crystals where the help is positive and helpful. Do not waste your money or your time in this store.

Havent been by in a long time, but Laurens is a great guy and carries a large selection of stones and fossils. Definitely worth stopping by!

Dont go here! They were extremely rude, yelling at me no touching, even though i was just pointing at a rock, showing how big of frauds they are. Total jerks.

Great pieces, steep prices. I mostly come here to look at all the big pieces and then leave.

Went in looking for gift for significant other, lady clerk offered no help but instead yelled at me for failing to notice a no touching sign on a piece of cheap quartz. Everything also fairly overpriced.
