My wife and I found out during our test drive of the ID.4, that we were the first to test drive the demo model at Moffitt. I have driven numerous EV’s and I will say, I was very impressed with the ID.4. Trenton was our salesman and he knows the car! I’ll start with the look. It looks nice and the lines remind me of my wife’s current car from a different brand. Interior is nice. I wouldn’t call it luxury but it’s very nice. The seats are very comfortable. At first glance I thought they’d be firm but they were not. Front seats are both electric and have a massage function and it was really nice too! If you worry sometimes about parking in tights spots like parking lots or even at home in your driveway or garage, this thing has the tightest turn radius I’ve seen. We went to a parking lot and I turned around a light pole with a concrete base . I was literally 3-4 ft away and in a perfect circle . The air condition is instant cold. No waiting for it to cool. Same for heat. Heated steering wheel and seats. They had just gotten a software update and the Infotainment system worked very well. It was fairly easy to navigate. You can use voice commands or buttons on steering wheel to navigate through the infotainment pages as well. The only thing I noticed was a slight delay in the voice command. If I said, Hello ID,” the screen immediately showed a response but the audible “How can I help you” took a few seconds. No big deal. The haptic controls worked very well. Excellent sound system. Plenty of USB C and USB A connections. A wireless charging pad in center console. Ambient interior light and you can set any color you want. The sunroof was a great touch. You have a cloth like motorized sun visor that you simply swipe forward or backward to extend or retract. (See photo of overhead. There’s a recessed channel that your finger slides back and forth to operate it) Here’s one that was different. At the base of the windshield where the dash meets it, there is a light bar that spans the whole dash/windshield. Maybe an 1/8-1/4” thick. It will light amber for caution and red for impending collision. If your navigating with the onboard navigation system, that same bar will flash (blue) left to right or right to left prior to an impending turn. Shifting was a breeze. All your typical controls on the steering wheel. Headlamp and defrost controls are haptic switches/buttons on the left side of dash below air vent. Overhead lights are capacitive. Touch once they come on full bright. Touch and hold and they dim from full bright to off. Release your touch at any brightness and that’s where it stays. Touch again and it turns off. No Frunk, but plenty of space in rear cargo. You can wave your foot under back bumper to open lift gate or push the button in the lift gate. Like most, you can adjust the opening height by pressing the button on bottom right side of lift gate at the height you like. Driving characteristics were great. Tight steering. (Like most European cars.) I did not notice much body roll when cornering. Smooth ride and very quiet. This vehicle is a demo vehicle but you can order them. I suspect the ID.4 is going to be a hot selling vehicle. I highly recommend it. Trenton, thank you very much for your time and knowledge. It was a pleasure driving the ID.4! For those not familiar with EV’s, you can get a federal tax credit of $7500 and LA offers a $2500 tax credit as well.Tim

I haven’t financed a vehicle in 15 years. I recently expressed interest in a Volkswagen atlas. The salesperson I was assigned to had only been with the dealership for six months. Let me preface this by saying that I might be a difficult person to deal with in a sales situation. I’m quite certain she didn’t know what to think of me. I challenged her from the beginning but she remained professional. In the end she found me the vehicle that I was looking for and it was a very smooth transaction. Hats off to Madison at Moffitt Volkswagen.

We were in the market for a used SUV with lower mileage and right now that can be a challenge. A VW was not really on our radar. After talking with Kade, we came and looked around. Ethan met us with a smile and took some time to get to know us and what exactly we were looking for. We drove an Atlas and Tiguan and ultimately decided on a TIguan. I did want to make sure of my decision so I asked Ethan to show me something else in their used cars that was comparable and he graciously did so. I am in love with my brand new Tiguan and would highly recommend Moffitt and Ethan Harris to make the easiest, most enjoyable and most professional car buying experience in the SBC. I was on a road trip and needed my Adblue DEF refilled and the light reset for my VW Passat TDI. Not sure what they did but they didn’t fix it and only made it worse. Had to bring it across to Mazda service department. Bad customer service too, not very friendly. I work at a dealership so I know how it can be sometimes but don’t even bother coming here. If traveling north, wait till you hit ORR Volkswagen in Texarkana they will get you right.
Worst experience! Will never use shop or buy from this dealership again.Poor communication. They severely under estimated how long it would take to repair my car. They did issue me a demo car to use three days after they said the work would be complete. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle (a week and a half later) I noticed that my side mirror was cracked, the door panel had not been put back on properly, and my door panel was greasy. My phone charger was also missing. The shop claimed that the door panel was on correctly. We had to argue with four different people to have a mechanic act frustrated and tell us nothing was wrong. My husband finally popped it into place. This was after they implied that the door panel was out of place before I brought it in. The treatment for the money I spent was a complete slap in the face. Go anywhere else.

Drive up on the Moffitt Volkswagen dealership lot, to check out the Atlas’s CrossSport was in the lot for about 20 minutes this trip came once before I. The past my daughter and I and was I. The lot for about a good thirty minutes and no o e came out to greet us at all! I thought they were I. The business of selling vehicles. Obviously do t want to sell me one if I have to roam your lot for almost 30 minutes. Will not be purchasing from your dealership, I’ll drive to Texarkana or Dallas first🤷🏽♀️
I love that when we pulled onto the lot the sales team did not jump on us immediately, they let us look around first. Ms. Vanessa was exceptional to work with. She did everything possible to keep us happy and our nerves at ease. The finance man did not try to sale us a line of bull when it came to extended warranty and made signing a pleasant experience.

They are nice when you first purchase the car but after that you can not get anyone on the phone especially maintenance. I bought a brand new car from these people 5 months ago and it is already having problems and guess what its not covered under warranty. I think warranty is only a word to these people that has no meaning. Just something they tell you that sounds good. Beware.

They had my vw for almost 2 weeks cost 1200 and the car was due for pick up get there and its not even fixed. Not the first bad experience there. At this point its down right abusive. Never been so insulted in all my life. BEWARE
My salesperson Jennifer Clements was awesome picked out my color showed me hers, told about the discount VW. had going on at the time and how long it would b going on. Once I saw Jennifer’s atlas I was in love and had to have one. Jennifer had everything setup for each person before I got off work and arrived at VW store.
My husband bought a new car and I was there with the kids as well. The staff were very friendly and very informative. They didnt act like a true car salesmen but acted like a friend. I got a ride home from on of their staff members and he was super nice and truest loves his job. We will def be coming here for future car purchases!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Im begging you: Do not buy here! They put on a nice show when you buy, but they will not service it. Our year old car is dying, and they cant get me in for weeks for service. The car DIED in the middle of the road and almost caused an accident, and it was driven straight to their service department and they refused to even look at it. They said they could see it in a few weeks, but we could leave there until they did..??? The car is under warranty and they refused to work on it for WEEKS! This is unacceptable and unsafe, and bad business.

Had my car there for 5 days. they finally came up with a computer code, and put a part on. car wasnt fixed, and they just lie to me. a real joke here is, and you can check it for yourself. An Art Vines gave a 5 star rating. Guess what, he works there, as the courtesy driver. What a joke. Pretty bad when you need to get your employees to give you a good rating.

In regards to the service department, where do I start? Was treated VERY rudely by the service manager on the phone (as a manager, if I EVER heard an employee speak to a customer as he spoke to me on the phone, I would have fired him on the spot). I took a vehicle in for repairs, they had it for over a month, racked up a huge repair pair bill ($840) and never corrected the problem. Apparently the Techs and Service Manager know very little about actual automotive repair, and are just parts swappers, deferring to the all knowing computer rather than common sense. If the computer cant tell them what is wrong, they wont check it, rather than use basic mechanical skills. All mechanics SHOULD know that there are a few things that an engine requires to run, Fuel, Spark, Compression and Air. This engine was misfiring and under powered, they NEVER checked the spark plugs, but continued to rely on their computer to tell them what was wrong. The service manager INSISTED it was the throttle body (the computers diagnosis, an $800 repair), when I declined the repair I was very rudely told that either I let them do it, or come pick it up) additionally I had even sent them a VW Service bulletin that stated that on this particular model the diagnostic equipment will get false readings for Throttle Body. I assented, and told him to go and ahead and do it, but he backed off on his stance. Bottom line? The root of the problem was 3 bad spark plugs (at a whopping $1.99 a piece). Several techs and the Service Manager never figured that one out.Had I not been from out of state and forced to leave my vehicle there, I would have worked on it myself. I finally just told them I was going to pick it up, they tried to discourage me as they said it would not make the trip home, (they were right with 3 bad spark plugs in a 5 cylinder engine) But luckily I DO know that bad plugs cause an engine to misfire, so I brought plugs, rotor and distributor cap with me, replaced them on the spot, and the vehicle ran perfectly fine, so was able to drive it home. If you are planning on having any repairs that come out of pocket, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! (At least under current management) The only positives to my whole experience were Jennifer, the service writer who was always pleasant and nice to deal with, and Ray, the sales manager who was very pleasant and accommodating, and apologized for my inconvenience.
The service department is less than sub-par, with incredibly rude and unprofessional employees. Its impossible to get anyone on the phone, and your concerns arent heard. While I love VW as a brand, I will never use this dealership for any purchases or services.
I was disappointed with the service department. I had purchased a new tiguan one year ago. During a recent family trip the check engine light came on and stayed on. I stopped at this dealership to ask for assistance yesterday. They said they couldnt help and didnt have any openings till mid August for me to bring my vehicle in. This was frustrating because I live an hour away however I asked if they could just check please to determine whats wrong from the diagnostic code. They said again no. They didnt have any one they could spare to check it.Now I dont expect someone in the middle of a job to just stop and see to my issues. On the other hand I dont see what the harm is to offer to check the problem in an hour or two when a tech can take 3 minutes to hook up to the cars computer. I went to auto zone and advance auto parts. They provided better customer service in both offering and coming to the vehicle to check the diagnostic code. They both however suggested that because there were three different codes coming up on their machines that it was best for me to check with an actual dealership.I was very disappointed both by the non caring attitude of the volkswagon service rep as well as the apparent backlog of work preventing me from getting any service for approximately one and a half months. I was informed that I could leave my car for a few weeks with them if I wanted. No offer of me having a loaner vehicle during this time so take it or leave it and walk home?As the only volkswagon dealership within an hours drive maybe that is a privilege that one must pay for by accepting whatever service they deem appropriate. Maybe they were having an off day. I dont like to leave negative reviews but sometimes no one is told they could do better and so they dont.
Getting in touch with Moffett service dept to make an appointment can be a very trying experience. I have made three attempts in the last hour all to no avail. I keep getting a recording from a lady who says she is out of her office and will return shortly and to leave your name and phone number which I did all three times. I have been a loyal customer for 6 years and have never had this kind of trouble before. Wish there was another VW dealership in Shreveport/Bossier.
After having an accident and totaling my 2018 VW Atlas, the staff at VW in Bossier went above and beyond for me to get me into another vehicle and the one I wanted. I will never buy from another dealership again.

This is easily the worst experience Ive ever had at any dealership, let alone a business. The service department is incapable of performing quality work. They do not communicate well, perform work that isnt necessary (and charge you for it), trash your vehicle, and then have the audacity to blame to customer. The problem clearly starts with the manager, John Moffitt, as he supports this behavior. He was smug and uncaring about our complaints, and then was incredibly rude to my wife. Our vehicle has been at this dealership for one month now and the initial problem is still not fixed, multiple damages were made to the vehicle by the staff and I fear the vehicle will never again be mechanically sound. I cannot recommend this dealership any less. DO NOT GO.
The reviews are true. I tried to contact service department about my 17 Jetta. Got put on hold, waiting, left voice mails, etc. Finally got Whitney on the phone. Our Jetta had 4 warning lights illuminated on the dash. Yesterday was July 27 (Friday) and I was told to keep driving the Jetta until they could get an appointment set up for Sept 03....This was not acceptable to me to drive a car with 4 warning lights on for 41 days before I could even get it looked at. The way I see it, these warning lights are there for a reason. Just how safe would the car be for 41 days? IDK? So I looked up the next nearest dealership in Longview, tx. Talked to Todd the service manager and he told me to bring it on over to them at 8:00 am the next morning. (SATURDAY). I got there at opening time, they took my car right in and did the repair on the spot.....great team. I would not advise anyone to try to get service at Moffitt ever....I will not be doing business there ever again...
Their ratings speak for themselves. Heres the abridged version: I happened to be driving on Old Minden, and in passing, I saw a car in the parking lot that I found to be appealing. I decided to call them in hopes to receive more information about the listing. After JENNIFER answered the phone, she immediately placed me on a brief 6 minute hold, returning only to inform me that the Porsche salesman was too busy to take my call.She was nice enough to ask if Id like to leave a call-back number, but after I asked if she would mind taking my email instead SHE IMMEDIATELY HUNG UP IN MY FACE. Pat yourself on the back Jennifer, busy Porsche salesman guy, and Moffitt Volkswagen for a job well-done. You just lost yet another customer.P.S. Im thinking 975 Old Minden Rd, Bossier City, LA would be the perfect location for an empty lot to serve as additional parking for surrounding businesses ;)

Terrible customer service. I have a 2018 VW Tiguan that just hit 10,000 miles so I needed an oil change and rotate & balance on my tires. I live an hour away and happened to be in town last week so I stopped by. There was no other customer in the waiting room at the time but yet they were “too busy” to service my car so the employee made me an appointment for a week and two days later. Today I showed up at my scheduled time, they acted confused on who I was, and then I sat there for THREE hours for an oil change. I was also the only person in the waiting room this entire time, yet they said they were swamped. Whenever they were finished, no one went over any information with me like other service departments have before. (Tire pressure, condition of battery, tire tread, etc.) However, I was informed the rotate and balance of my tires was unnecessary so they didn’t do it. Therefore, I waited 3 hours for ONLY an oil change. Lastly, I was charged $71 for this and I have the gold membership coverage from whenever I bought the car but they didn’t know anything about that. I will not be back. Avoid this place at all cost!

Some of these reviews are cracking me up. LolOne dude is talking about replacing his distributor cap and rotor on a 5cyl. Considering these engines have individual coils and plugs... I wouldnt trust his review. 😂😂😂The place is great!!!

Moffitt is a core reason you dont buy VW/Mazda if youre locked into the SHV region. Horrible service department will go out of their way to screw you out of warranty coverage via top-down corpo-centric management inconsistent with customer morality of either automaker they represent.

Worst dealer have I have been too. I was once told to leave my car there for 3 weeks because serviced was soooo backed up. And they didnt know when they would get to my car. ???????? I took my GTI in for service... By which I had my own oil. I was still charged 100 dollars for a oil change. I now took my car to a VW dealer in Longview Texas where I wont be ripped off. The service department at Moffitt is a joke and will charge a high premium. Dec of 2017 I took my car in for service waited for about a hour and half for them to open... They never opened on a week day. A guy from the Mazda dealer walks over to tell me to drive across the street only to be told to leave my car with then for three weeks. What a joke. Never again.
