Went for my appointment and someone put on another day, now I have to go back, someone isnt paying attention to there Job, this is not the first time having problems with the company, very disappointed with the company, I also was giving two oil changes for the last time and it was never done, cant keep promise and appointments. I have never had a good experience here. First I buy a one directional tire and they mounted it on my rim backwards. Then they broke off my tire sensor and instead of fixing it or doing ANYTHING about it to make it right, they just handed the broken sensor to me and said sorry this broke off.. Excuse me, WHAT?? This is the worst place to go for your tire needs. Save yourself!!!!
They gave me a price without knowing what parts I would need.... How is this possible?? They charge women double price than they do males. And they are very disrespectful, rude. Was a little disappointed in time needed for service and advisement of time needed. Drove 2 hours to get tires, thought pricing included mounting and balancing ... it did not, upon arrival was told going to be two hours ... said ok... left rims .... returned hour plus later they hadnt started was told will be two hours ... I said no you told me 2 hours first ...he said we have other customers too we are backed up. I understand this but tell me one thing and then another . I purchased my tires with NO SERVICE waited around in town for over hour drove 2 hours and then this ..... This was definitely NOT our normal PEP BOY Service !
Went in on Sunday afternoon to get a tire plugged or patched. After watching tech stand by my truck on his phone for 15 minutes I was told they wouldnt repair the tire because I needed tires. I wish I could post a photo with PLENTY of tread left. I went to Firestone next door and they repaired the tire.Lesson learned....never again Pep Boys
Jerrad was great at scheduling a 120 point vehicle inspection on pre purchase inspection, for a 2001 C5 Vette, before I saw the car.Pep boys is the only repair facility, that can get you in the same day you call, and start work the same day, while other places are overbooked for several days.I have used PepBoys for 10 years & ever time I call a new one I feel like ii is the employees I know, from 1 I have used before.Definitely a place I always do business with and never have any complaints.Thanks Jerrad...J.L. Use to be a time if you needed aftermarket parts this would be the place to go. Now that they no longer have a store side, and they just offer oil changes and tires there is no longer a reason for me to spend money there. Quite sad. Lost my respect.
Use to be a good store when it wasnt only service and tires, now it seems like they dont have the time of day for you unless you know someone who works there. Service work is questionable at best anymore and prices are double or more with less warranty than most actual mechanics shops around town. Very disappointed in what this store has become.
Dropped my vehicle off at 10am yesterday morning for new tires. After not hearing anything on the status of my vehicle, I called at 6:50pm. No answer. Drove up there only to find my vehicle in the patking lot and they were closed. The door states hours are till 9pm but Google showed they closed at 7pm. Just went to pick up my vehicle and ask why no one ever called to let me know it was ready and was told that the service ticket was never closed out. While the customer service was good, the communication was horrible.
I went for 4 tires and an oil change. I was told I needed the left CV axle replaced. I bought 1but I went to a family friend to put it on. He works on my familys cars but I dont live there so I was going to go through someone else and I chose this place. I found out I didn NOT need the part and the lugnuts were backing off. I drove on the interstate going 75 mph. With my 2 year old great grandson in the car with me. They risked our lives. I will never go back to them and I suggest you dont either.
They dont have time to mount a tire on a wheel to help a traveling family with kids that has been on the road for days and are in danger while the big semi trucks are passing by too close, they just said: we cant help you until 4:30 pm, thats 6 hours later, why cant they be flexible in a situation like this?

I stopped in to have tire low signal looked at. Crew were extremely polite and helpful. I mentioned that I had a brake light out also. Crew also replaced bulb for much better price than my dealership. I will definitely be returning to this location for anything regarding my car. We searched around town for the best prices on batteries because we had to jump my car off to start it. Pep Boys on e. Texas had the best price and would install for free. They accomadated us the best they could and got us in almost immediately to get the battery changed. Saved a lot of headache!
Went to get my oil changed. He said he had several in front of me but he was going to work me in so I wouldnt have to spend my off day sitting. They had me out in 1 hour. So much better than Gateway! At least they were nice and treated me like they appreciated my business. Thank you Gene!!! Next time I need tires, I know where Im going.
First off, I called to in advance to know the wait time to check my brakes. The guy said it was gonna be 10-15 minutes to check my brakes. I arrived at Pep Boys at 9:20 am. It was 11:30am before anyone told me the status of my brakes. The brakes were bad. They gave me the option to either let them work on it for $606 or I have to get it towed. I chose to let them work on it because I needed the car and I believed in them, and the guy told me it would only take 1hr to 1hr-30min. Big Mistake! Its a freaking day later and they giving me nothing but excuses. The guy who worked on you car wont be in to 10:30am. Well have it ready by noon. You dont work on any other car before you finish with the car that was there first. You dont give excuses and false time. You wasted my time. I would have called Firestone or some other local shop if I knew they were gonna pull this stunt. I spent over $1000 in the last 2 years for poor service. Not any more. This is how you lose business. Beware that if I had the knowledge and time, I couldve have someone else repair this in a reasonable amount of time and for way cheaper.5/20The only good thing from this is that the manager Jason was very helpful and explained the problems. He was extremely helpful. Although I have my car, the problems I had with my brakes were not fixed, it still squeals half the time.

I was so pleased with my visit on 10/20/2016. I was super late for my appointment and still was treated so well & was in and out- ALSO, Henry,Bill, and Jamal were super good to me. Henry was very understanding on me being two hours late to make my appointment, Bill was very alert and noticed I had a headlight and fog light out & came to ask me if I knew about it (which I did), but he went out of his way and had Jamal change my bulbs for me right there in the pit. Jamal is a VERY pleasant employee- one of the very few good ones I have experienced out in the pit in awhile. Good guys- and great service. I refuse to go anywhere else with my car and beyond thankful to have met these guys tonight at my appointment. Hopefully they stay around for awhile! Hope to see the 3 of them for my allignment in 2 weeks! 😊
Made an 8:00 oclock appointment to have my oil changed and tires rotated. I made the appointment online, and according to their online system if you get a synthetic oil change you also get a free tire rotation. I arrived for my appointment at 8:00 and was greeted by name. We then went through what I wanted done and was quoted a price higher than I expected. The assistant manager that was waiting on me told me that my tire rotation was not free because I was getting the managers special they had going, which as far as I could tell was the same price as normal. Anyway, I then pointed out a sign hang on their counter that said, managers special oil change, and it did say tire rotation was included. He apologized and adjusted my price accordingly. After this I was informed that it would be just a bit, because they only had one tech there at the moment (who was already working on a vehicle), but they expected another tech any moment. In the end, it took about an hour to get an oil change and my tires rotated. Overall, a little bit of a hassle and longer wait than I would have liked, but the price was reasonable and the coffee was good.

I was pleased to get in and out pretty quickly when I came in on a Saturday afternoon with car troubles while traveling. Unfortunately the work that was done did not correct the issue and I had to get to another Pep boys shop a couple of weeks later. They advised me to contact the manager, which I did, and he offered a very fair resolution for me.

Slow, huge disconnect between store and website, told me my tire didnt have a leak, made them check again and found it, said it was too close to the sidewall to fix. Good manager, slow mechanic.

Where do I start! Worst customer service ever! Husband needs new tires for his car, goes online gets what he wants, tries to checkout but can not check out online. So he calls the store to make an appointment and have the tires (he wants) shipped to the store! He is quoted a price over 200 dollars more than the online price!Appointment day rolls around and we take the car to gets new tires! Get to the store and we are informed that only 3 of the 4 tires were shipped and they could find a tire to put in its place! I asked why they could not call to let us know that all 4 tires were not there, no response the lady at the service counter informed my husband it was not their fault the tires did not arrive! They did not apologize or show concern of losing our business! I will no longer use Pep Boys for anything! Horrible service and rude workers!
Excellent experience! Ordered my trucks battery online, drove straight to the store, and they had it waiting for me. Online ordering got me a 25% discount. I could even pay at pick up! That let me shop around a bit.
Made an appointment for 10 am for breaks it is 1130 and Im still waiting for them to even move my truck from where I parked it. This is stupid why have people make appointments if you are not going to keep them or even tell them what is going on. If my breaks werent completely out I would go elsewhere.
Catalytic converter was changed out pretty quickly, and the service manager gave good information regarding additional repairs that were legitimately needed.
We drove from Missouri to Shreveport Louisiana just as we pulled into our hotel we noticed a grinding noice from the left front tire of our car. We gooogled what the problem might be and found out there could be a pebble in the casing that protects the rotor. We drove to Pep Boys. it’s on a Sunday morning around 11:30, the service manager and tech were most helpful. They removed the tire and pebbles. The noise was gone! You guys are awesome!Blane Jones
I had a 4 star review here, which Ive had to delete because my last experience there was so terrible. To be fair, the manager (who is usually wonderful) wasnt there. I scheduled a routine oil change plus tire rotation and balance, since I bought my tires there.I arrived an hour early, hoping to at least get in close to my appointment time. My appointment was for 6. I arrived at 5, but my car wasnt taken in until almost 7 p.m. I witnessed all three employees, looking baffled under my car, with a flashlight. I have a Honda Pilot, which Ive brought there several times with no problems before.When I asked what was going on, the guy said it was okay, that they had been trying to make a Toyota oil filter fit my car, by mistake, but that it was all taken care of. I then watched them lower my car from the rack. I asked what about the tire rotation? and he said oops, hed forgotten. The guys looked very annoyed as they put it back up and rotated the tires. BUT they did NOT balance them, and in fact when I got home, my front tire was only inflated to 15 pounds, and had an obvious nail in it, between the treads. I knew Id had a slow leak but I cant believe that they not only didnt check the air, but they didnt see the nail - or chose to ignore it.After three hours, they were still put out that they had to actually do the work Id come for - even though they didnt complete it. I would NOT recommend anyone using them again. I am likely to try to find somewhere else to take my business. Gateway will fix my flats for free, even though I didnt buy my tires there!
We had a 9:30 am appnt for an oil change and a tire rotation. 11:30 am they got our f150 on the rack then 30 min later told me they didnt have the oil filter they had to go to orileys to get the oil filter. So finally at 1:15 pm they said they were through bill was 119.75 this did include an air filter we will never go back.

Had my vehicle towed to their shop. Needed a new water pump and thermostat. The bill was going to be over a thousand dollars. While I am not a professional auto mechanic, I do have some basic knowledge in this area, and their estimate struck me as being a couple of hundred dollars too much. When I asked why it was so high I was told I was being charged roughly $700.00s in labor and that it would be done that day. So, I was being charged well over a $100s an hour for labor. I passed and had another shop come pick up my car and saved several hundred dollars in the process. I will not being going back and will be referring my friends some where else. I will say this, and why they get two stars instead of one, they were polite and friendly.

I had called at 9a.m to see if they could align my car today. She said that they could do it at 11 for me. So I set the appointment for 11:00 and had gotten there 10 minutes early. 1:30 rolls around and I am still sitting/waiting there on my car to even get into the garage. Mind you I brought my 8 month old daughter with me (I didnt think I would be there all day for an appointment made at 11:00 for an alignment that should take 20-30 minutes). i get told by the lady up front (the one who made my appointment for 11:00) that there is only one technician that can do my alignment and he just went on break, that it would be 45 minutes before he even got back from his break. She told me that I would be 1st on his list as soon as he got back from his break. 3:30 comes around and I am STILL sitting there. I asked the guy up front (his name was Jarreth or something of that sort) what was going on and he explained to me that the technician that could work on my car was back from break and continuing to work on a truck that he had yet to finish. He was very blunt with me. I asked when he could even get my car into the garage and he said it will be ANOTHER hour and a half before it even makes it in there. He told me that he didnt know why the lady was giving me all of the wrong information. I told him that I had been there for 4 hours with my daughter and he said that sucks. I was angry I thought I could cry. Then I came back out there to try to make sense of the situation and he said he would give me a discount. So, it did get handled but the communication here is really bad. I got told 100 different stories today as to when I would get done. I would have left my car there if they would have told me that it would take 6 hours to complete. Not give me the run around making me wait and wait and wait. Not good service at all. I waisted my one day off in a waiting room full of loud, rude people screaming and throwing stuff as my daughter tried to sleep. I hated our experience.

Had to order parts. After two weeks they could not find them. Reorder parts and they also did not arrive after two more weeks. Each time was suppose to take three to five days. Told manager if they did not arrive after the weekend I wanted my money back. So after the weekend I went up to get my money back and another manager looked up order and saw where it had been cancelled. At least I got my money back. Several months later returned to same Provos to get some rear brake pads for my truck got home looked at the new brake pads and they were for the front......should have checked them at the store. So for now on Ill go to Napa.

ZAwful, Awful absolutely awful a business of crooks. If youre a female and look as if you have no clue about cars they will lie and try to pressure you into getting services you do not need. Besides mechanics whipping your car around the parking lot when they think youre not noticing ..... I have a 2014 sports car under 53k miles they tried to tell me it was struts were real bad and needed to be replaced asap and the tires . Ok I was skeptical about the struts but already wanted to replace the tires. I called my father and stated what I was told which he told me flat out wait for his opinion before I make any decision. My vehicle is ford certified and I took it to the ford dealership the following day. After the dealership inspected my vehicle I showed them my pep boys perspective invoice for all the services I stated I needed. Ford pointed out that pep boys was trying to charge me for shock absorbers; which wasnt mentioned in the conversation.... CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS THEY WILL TRY TO SLIP IN ITEMS NOT MENTIONED . After ford pointed out the shock absorber charge they kindly discussed the struts with me . The previous evening my father broke it down simple for me is the steering wheel shaking when you drive .... No it never did.... Ford stated normal wear for a 2014 sports car and the struts were a unnecessary purchase .I will never go back to pep boys. Woman and the gullible beware. Also I remember when talking to the cashier another mechanic was sitting on the edge of my car hood and bouncing ..... Dont go here !!!!! Its possible staff is supposed to meet quotas and thats why they lie their face off.zz

Wish i could give it a lower rating that would appear. They will rip u off by: attempting to demand u get a part or parts u dont need; the mechanics wont complete the job when they do install new parts; they will add on extra work time so they can get more money from because they get paid by the hour for a job. I had a new cv axle installed, the mechanic didnt even put the lock ring on the other end, just on the outer part. So without the lock ring my cv axles grease was completely drained. My advice; buy ur parts and find ur own mechanic or DIY because you will save money, time, and frustration

Saw them overcharge a woman for one ball baring replacement. $300 plus $55 for an alignment. She declined both and decided to go elsewhere so he changed the rate to $200 for ball baring replacement. He said ball baring was $59.99 and labor was $169.00 for replacement. So why the $300? Hmmmm.
