The Northwoods Candy emporium has a great variety of different bulk candies. All different kinds of jelly belly flavors as well as regular candies you can buy at the store just in bulk. If youre looking for somewhere to get your sweet tooth on head to Northwoods candy emporium at the Mall of America. They also have a huge selection of fudge!!
My daughters went into this store in search of some chocolate covered strawberries but unfortunately found out they arent sold here. Then they wanted to purchase some fudge but most of it was sold out and there wasnt much to choose from so they didnt end up buying any. They did find a super cute Mega Man tin of mints to bring home to their father though.
The staff member that helped us was very nice, answered our questions, super friendly. The selection was pretty big, but for a candy emporium there wasnt anything like cool/unique that you couldnt find most places, and it was certainly spendy for candy. But the kids had fun exploring and their gummy butterflies are crazy good. They offer a selection of different fudge and tons of different truffles if youre into those.
Disappointed and surprised cash not accepted. But they have their reasons for doing it.I found a chocolate bar brand called Hammonds. The flavor I got was milk cola chocolate with pop rocks. It was very tasty! They have a good selection of candy.
Went in their today (08/22/21) and they would only take credit cards. Cash is good for all debts public and private. Will change review when you accept legal American Currency.
Delicious candy and friendly workers! Its great to be able to bag as much of each of the candy you want!!
Was trying to sample 1-2 pieces of candies before buying, the store manager begs cursing at me! I even tried to buy even though she was disrespectful, she snatched the candy out of my hand! She even lied and called security. The security was apologetic and was reasonable: they were the ones that calmed me down. Visiting this location no more!!!
Staff working the day after Easter was awesome. Only gave it 3 stars because the sugar free jelly beans i bought were over a year expired. :-(
Wasnt what I thought Id find. Was thinking candy unique to Northern MN.
Im like a kid in a candy store here, I could spend hours picking out candy!
Great fudge! Lots of old fashioned candy and good prices.
Decent prices and a decent selection of old school candy from candy cigs to button candy and those gross gummy Krusty Krab patties from Spongebob.
I would love to work here. This store is the best
Some shelves empty. Expensive.
Mt. Dew Fudge is awesome... Also got alot of stuff for my kids to snack on.
Excellent dark chocolate bars, wide variety of milk and white chocolate as well. Fun, cute, upscale gifts and seasonal items. If you want to give quality chocolate to your loved ones, this is the place to go
I was able to find a large selection of sugar free chocolates here. The quality of the product is unbelievable. There is also a gift shop making it a great place to get a gift with some chocolates
Love their fudge.
Needs better supervision - telling kids not to eat the candy after theyve already had a handful isnt overly sanitary.
The mtn dude fudge is amazing
A walk down memory lane. We got some candy not seen since my childhood.
Cool 😎 place
Great selection with great prices.
Their fudge is to die for. They have many flavors, some you could only dream of like Rocky candy and mountain dew. They also have a special pineapple lime flavor of nerds which are the fantastic! Would go here for any of your odd or old candy needs.
Well kept shop. The prices are fair but add up fast if you arent careful. Good chocolate but nothing you write home about.
Pretty cool place. Lots of interesting items available. Prices are comparable to or better than similar store. They also focus more on old fashioned candies and gourmet chocolates and less on imported or novelty candies than some of their competition.
Excellent selection and reasonable prices for the Mall of America! A great spot to stop and spend $5 on sweet treats or chocolate to keep shopping.
Very nice cashier helped me find the candy my greedy children wanted.
Beautiful interior and super nice employees. Its a candy shop? Why would I give it anything other than 5 stars?
They were really nice! A bit overpriced, but also a bit calmer and less full of screaming kids then the other vibrantly colored candy stores in the mall. If you want to get your candy, get out, and have a bit of fun along the way, this is the place. :)
I loved the dark chocolate salted caramel
Cute place! Fun to mix and match different flavors of jelly beans or gummy candy in one bag. Some of it is obviously a bit overpriced, but its a fun stop when you visit the mall to get a treat.
Paige and one other employee working tonight right at close we’re SO SWEET and I hope they get to see this. What they said to me made my week, and it’s made me love coming to this store. I want these girls as friends lol best service ever!!
Cute little candy store! From fudge to specialty chocolate and all types of other including organic candy.
I love it...
Lots of options
Had a Caramel bar from here it was amazing. My gf had a chocolate covered bacon and she loved it.
Stopped in and grabbed a couple bags of candy. Most of the gummies were pretty good, but some were stale, so be careful when you are picking stuff out.Chocolates we got from the case were delicious. Friendly staff as well!
Decent place to get some bulk candy. With that said, many of the candies are in a typical you scoop it type arrangement, and while there, I seen a kid grab a handful of this unwrapped candy, and the parents put it back, yuck. Its hard to shop here after seeing all the people licking ice cream, and grabbing candy with, probably, unclean hands. So I have to knock a star for that. Candy is a bit overpriced, but typical in a mall. Will come again, but only for wrapped candy.
You have to try the different chocolates and malt balls. So amazing.
Very over priced
The Candy emporium is very cool, definitely one of the better candy shops at the MOA. large selection of candys, including some really interesting ones no other place had, like their bug candy section. I also really enjoyed their various interesting sodas, I just wish that they were chilled.
The worst candy store I have ever been to. Avoid the overpriced bulk candy, as it is not only horribly stale and extremely expensive, but pricing is handled in a deliberately misleading way. On the walls, candy prices are shown by the 1/4 pound. When they ring you up it is sold by the ounce. I bought two bulk items, and upon examining the receipt they charged me for four bulk items. Plenty of other options for your sweet tooth at MOA... no reason to ruin your experience here.
Employee didnt have a mask on.
👍
Love all of the chocolate options and the difference gummies. I work at the mall so I go fairly often, however, I may have to stop going. Its a weird complaint but the floor is so warped and bubbly that I cant handle it. I have a balance disorder and I get dizzy and feel ill because the floor moves so much. While in there I heard 3 other people complain about it as well. Im not willing to risk injury or feel with dizziness just to get candy when there are other, safer, stores I can choose.
Taffy was delicious....after you sucked on it long enough and loosened it up so it wouldnt hurt your teeth. Very disappointed. Taste your taffy before going home...especially if you live 2+ hours away, no contact information on website.
Excellent place to visit if in the area. Have never seen so many brands and varietys of soda and candies in one location.
Lots of candy with a lot of choices. friendly service.love this place.
Jelly beans were fresh and delicious but the truffles were only average.
Quite nice place... Confused as to how bugs are candy, but everything looked super cool
A good selection of hard to find candy
Kinda dirty feeling and staff was uninterested. I feel like nothing unique here
I always feel like putting emporium in the name is a little pretentious
Great candy. Pricey
Nice clean store with a great selection of fresh and nostalgic candies.
The store is very organized and has a large variety to choose from :) I love certain flavors of gummies and always wish there was a way to just buy those specific flavors and here you can do that they have gummies and jelly bellys separated by flavors and you can mix and match them! Obviously its a little expensive but expected since its in MOA ... Worth checking out when you have a sweet tooth;)
Free samples of yummy fudge and lots of choices of goodies.
So much candy! But so good!
I had some truffles from their store and loved them.
Had candy for little ones and haves a good selection
I was filling my candy bag and I saw an attendant pick the candy off the floor, sort it and return it to the bins. I have informed management.
Had a great variety of candies.
There Mountain Dude fudge is the best!
Goid selection. Friendly staff.
