Update: the solar string lights broke down where the panel connects to the string after just 6 months. Owner said hers had lasted “years.” Hopelessly broken, will need to purchase new ones 😢Gorgeous shop, unique yet classy and trendy items, and LOVE Hilltop Candle scents and candles! They burn forever with the best, richest scents! I purchased this gorgeous pendent lamp on my last trip. I can’t go there too often or I’d spend all my money 🤣

Simply Primitive is a wonderful shop with an awesome owner and great employees. Everyone here is very nice. The moment you walk in the shop smells amazing from their hand poured candles. Which by the way I highly recommend. These candles are my favorite of any I have ever burned. They are fragrant, long lasting, and even burning. They make these candles on-site and they are amazing. I cant say enough about them. Try them you will not be disappointed.After you walk in you will enjoy your time in the shop. There is plenty to look at and always a variety. Including fresh baked Amish goods, local made jams and jellies and much more.There is more than just candles and Amish goods. You just have to go for yourself. It is worth the trip. So much to look at and great quality items at good prices.I love this shop. You can spend a lot of time in here just walking around and looking at everything.Recommend you check it out.Susan and the staff are wonderful.

Hand poured candles, Amish made pickles and local preserved goods alongside country-chic barnwood furniture, etc. Theres frequently a friendly bloodhound named Daisy in the place as well, very sweet girl!
