My daughter and I both saved up money for a couple of years to take a trip to the Mall of America for her fourteenth birthday. On the top of her shopping list were a pair of Doc Martins. Oh. My. Goodness. I cant believe that one pair of these cost us over two hundred dollars! I hope she enjoys them for a long time because at that price, shes not going to be getting another pair!

My niece wanted a pair for her 16th birthday. We were at the store on Saturday and they refused to let us in because of the type of mask that her mother was wearing. Out of the 25 stores we were in that day, Dr. Martin refused us entry. Lululemon got our huge purchase of the day. Your loss.

I went into the store today to buy an exact pair of shoes and another pair of laces for my other docs. Justin helped me find and try on the right size, educated me about the type of leather, and recommended the “wonder balsam” to keep my shoes looking nice and slightly protect them from the salt and snow. He also informed me that the same balsam will help my matte black pair look rejuvenated and new again.I’ve used the balsam on both shoes and it’s amazing! Thank you Justin for the quick and friendly help and information!! I will be back to buy through this store vs online.

I recently worked over the phone with an associate named Justin who was extremely patient and helpful over the phone. I received a gift card two years ago and I am a resident of Columbus, Ohio. When I finally decided to use the card I sadly realized we no longer have a store here :-( I was directed to the closet location which was Mall of America. Justin was so patient as I debated on which boots to actually go with along with taking them time to add up my total with the 25% off and shipping included so I could have easier debate! I ended up purchasing 3 pairs of boots and hella excited to be rocking them once I receive them! Ive worked in retail and know how it can be tough to maintain the floor along with keeping incoming calls. He killed it!!

On my first visit, about 8 months ago, I got a pair of the classic 1461s. The woman there suggested a size that was smaller than my regular, and insisted they will stretch out.Fast forward 8 months later... my feet KILL! Still!! So I went back into the store to see if I could somehow exchange my size 5s for a size 6.I dont have a receipt, or the box, and I bought these at least 8 months ago... but the manager on duty (on 6/10/19.. didnt get his name) heard me out and immediately got my a new size. It was SO hassle-free! I appreciate it!!

Called yesterday and Justin was so helpful, really made us willing to come to store. We are both disabled, Im in a wheelchair so it was hard but knew he would be a great help. His friendly and knowledge attitude was amazing and we bought boots, sox, laces and polish. Were confident we got the best product for our needs and he is VERY appreciated.

I actually went there for their line of work boots. Absolutely one of the best pair of work boots Ive ever owned. The store is not the biggest of stores so their selection was limited. Would have liked to have seen a few more styles instead of having to go online to get them. But overall excellent excellent store to go to purchase Doc Martin shoes.

As i had entered the store, i wasn’t greeted by anybody. i had continued to look around the store but yet had gotten no assistance or help. when i had walked up to an employee to ask questions, you could tell she was very moody and not wanting to talk. she didn’t ask me any follow up questions or give me any assistance throughout the whole time i was there, neither did the three other employees who were there while the store was nearly empty. i had decided to purchase the shoes anyways but still had gotten very unwelcoming vibes from the employees. the shoes in general are very nice but the customer service is awful. overall the experience felt very uncomfortable, unwelcoming and pretentious on the employees part. as i was checking out and getting my money to pay all four of the employees were behind the counter staring at me while not saying a word? it was super uncomfortable and not the type of service you want for any retail store :/

We went in on Saturday, there were at LEAST 3 people working with maybe one other group of people in there the same time as we were. There were 4 people in my group and not a single person working said a word to any of us. I had a few pairs I was looking at and 100% went in to purchase (my mom was planning on it as well) but we ended up walking out since no one tried to talk to us.

I went there by myself about two months ago and was treated very cold by 2 staff (One women with pink-ish short hair and one guy with mustache). I was in the store first by myself first, I repeatedly asking for help and asking questions but they obviously didnt want to help me. After a while, two other customers came in to the store and finally there was another younger girl staff came out and she helped us a bit. At one point, I went back to talk to the pink-ish short hair staff to ask question, she was behind the counter and saw me walking toward her, she shoot her head and walked away.....WTH....!!! I think I would come back to store one more time to just to recognize and learn their names so I could file an official report to their supervisors.

I bought a pair of shoes as a gift. The sales associate never told me about the discount they had going on. I found out about it and asked for a price adjustment a couple weeks later. The sales associate insisted I brought back the shoes (which I already gifted) to do a price adjustment. I work in retail and have been in retail for a few years now including management. To bring back the shoes for a price adjustment isnt necessary considering I was leaving with the exact same pair. I was not returning them. I left the store but forgot my receipt. As I went back in to get it the sales associate was already talking down about me to another associate. This is extremely uncalled for. I called customer service and they assured me the store manager would get ahold of me. The store manager never did and it has been 2 weeks. If I had not gifted the shoes I would be returning them all together as it is still in their policy time frame. This is the worst service ive ever experienced and will never be shopping there again!! Especially a place that finds it acceptable to talk down about its customers.

My boyfriend and I visit this store every time we visit the mall, which is fairly frequent, and have never had a problem. The employees always greeted us (at least the usual two I see there always did), and were big fans of the brand. We went in two days ago with the intent to buy a pair of boots, and there was a new employee I hadnt seen before, a redhead girl. We were not greeted, my boyfriend had to approach her to ask if he could see a pair of boots in a couple different sizes. She never said a single word the whole time she was helping us, she got the boxes and didnt address us at all, just stood there staring at the boxes until we walked over to her and my boyfriend tried on the shoes. She didnt tell us about any other necessary products and barely said anything as we bought the shoes and left. Two days later, as hesaid been wearing the shoes all day, my boyfriend notices the shoes dont even have insoles. He calls this location to figure out why or see if he has a broken pair of shoes, and is met with an incredibly rude response. The girl on the phone blows him off and ends the conversation with I dont make the shoes. He had to call a store in Chicago, eight hours away from us, to be told that the insoles come separate. I dont know the name of this employee since we werent greeted, she didnt wear a name tag and she didnt tell us her name, neither did the employee on the phone who I assume is the same girl, but whoever she is does NOT need to be working in customer service. Because of her negligence and apathy to her customers, we have to drive an hour back to Bloomington to get insoles that she should have informed us on in the first place. I will no longer be giving my business to this store unless I see the other two (friendly) employees.

Customer service is hit or miss. The sales associate that helped me was very condescending and flippant. Fortunately a different associate that acted as cashier was pleasant and helpful. I like the boots I bought, but for $140 I could have done without the attitude.

Dont go there if youre Black, they will not help you. As far as that social club is concerned, you dont even exist. Some short, fat white girl stood at the register and did absolutely nothing while there was a store full of customers. A taller, chubby mixed girl[I figured she would help me after she was done with some customers]decided she was done while some skinny white boy assisted 2 different customers simultaneously. After about 10 mins, I left. I came back after 20 mins and the store was clear. The 2 Chicago were probably in back socializing while ole boy was up front by himself. I stood there for about 2 mins while he pretended I wasnt there. So theres no question there was a racial element on top of entitled laziness

The boots for 150$ I expected at least a years worth out of them.. Im on pair 3 today is April 13th my first pair was in August.. After my first pair I was like oh my fault I prob shouldnt step on fire with them at work.. Or hot coals.. Next pair I was thinking boy this winter must of been too cold for my boots caus they broke again on the bottom.. Then I got a new pair #3 now I figured no stepping on hot coal or fire Ill leave them inside my house for my now never in my car in the cold and then today my feet were wet n I look down n they are broken again..Cool! Im not too happy

The store is amazing they have everu boot for every occasion, their customer service above and beyond i bought 3 pairs of boots the same day and 2 weeks later my daily use pair failed on me the sole litterly came apart i came into the store without my reciept they took a look at the boots and gave me a new pair on the spot no questions or did not even hesitate a bit..amazing customer service

Sales assistants were slow to help even with no other customers in the store. when I did purchase shoes, they lasted for less than a year for $100. customer service is poor, store would not accept a return on a gift purchased less than a month earlier. would give 0 stars if possible.
