I love Home Depot! I find this particular one well stocked. Its obvious they have cut down on staffing. One example is the all self check out lanes. That I do not like (thats why I gave it 4 stars). However there was a person there to help me check out inspite of self check out. There seems to be less people on the floor as well. However when I did find one, they were more than willing to help and often walked me to the product I was looking for. In general, I do recommend this store.
This is a very busy store. Perhaps understaffed at times. However, I can tell customer service is a top priority. The employees are always willing to help find products and answer questions. I may have to wait a bit, but their employees will always help and make the customer feel valued.
Jay works Bloomington Mn he is very helpful as always he is above and beyond 5 stars rates thanks
Has most things that I am looking for, although sometimes they are hard to find. Well laid out. The more you go, the more you get to know where things are. Sales people are helpful when you can find one. I swear they are hiding in the back.
I was pleasantly surprised how friendly the staff was at this location! They were knowledgeable about answering all of my questions. Id shop here again!
Glenn V. was extremely helpful and pleasant to talk to. He helped us find drill bits for a great deal! Wonderful customer service!
Just ran in for some super glue and an exacta knife. For such a large large store the employees knew where the items were. A very pleasant and fast experience.
Didnt have things in stock again. Also prices continue to be going up and costumer service is definitely going down.
Been to one Home Depot then you have been to them all. Typical box store with a variety of DIY supplies as well as an opportunity to connect with professional services. Their professional service prices are too high compared to a private contractor or professional. This particular site didnt have the monthly workshop designed to get kids into home improvement.
This review is for ✨Noah✨ at cashier services. I had the pleasure of working with him to complete a return and to pick up a couple of in-store/curbside orders. He was so genuinely nice and helpful at each visit. Not to mention he is efficient at the register. His energy radiates and he is someone that all companies desire to have represent their brand. Thanks, Noah, for being awesome! I look forward to shopping at this location again in part to your top-notch customer service! ✨
Ok, I have been to many Home Depots. This one has really great customer service. Everytime I go there. Many staff that have been there for a long time helps!
I needed items I couldnt find on my own Roy in the carpet department provided excellent service, he knew exactly where everything I needed was!
Well kept HD and not too crowded.
Couldnt find a single employee to help me and when i did she told me she didnt know and told me to keep looking hopefully i find it????? what that hell kind of customer service is that.
The greeter in charge of the shopping carts! Is Super Cool and very helpful. The guy who helped me with selecting my Ryobi drill for Ryobi days, a little grumpy with me but I told him Thank you sir! and he responded in kind. So that made my experience really good 👍
Great store Return to portable air conditioner to buy a better one they did not ask any questions it was a quick return very pleasant experience
Went here 15x fir a few projects and they were great. Especially return policy where I dont worry if I got the right thing or buy 3 ...lol. thanks!!!
This place us huge with plenty of signs and great attentive staff to help with your needs. I get lost in this place just looking.
Ray in the window treatment dept was very helpful and friendly
Ok, the location is a bit tricky to find, but it has everything that your home needs such as repair, lights, tools, etc.
I hate to leave a bad review with any company, & its tough because their in store customer service is above most retailers these days, but I had an awful experience with a larger carpet install from Home Depot and Crew2. After paying in full the carpet (which i should have never done) install took 3 months & 3 reschedules for home depot & crew2s mistakes that could have very easily been avoided. When asking to be compensated for taking 2.5 months longer than expected, 3 cancellations, missing/lost carpet, asbestos tests that were not planned or discussed beforehand, they kept putting it off until the carpet was installed. Its now been 3 weeks since it was installed and they offered me $250 (HD & c2 together) on a $2250 install( really??). It was not worth the hassle & I wholeheartedly hope that no one has to have service like this and then offered a less than adequate compensation.
Very crowded slow checkout lines. A customer with a dog in her basket made it a fun experience. I wish more people would bring their fury friends.
I like all the big box stores and the locals. Each has there place and you just have to know what you want ao you cand decide which to go to. I like how the store is laid out and basically know where everything is at. People working there are friendly and helpful.
Its a well run location- takes forever to place a window special order but thats just home depot. Just cant buy Andersen windows on line
Went there to get a quart of paint. The have a lot of New Halloween items.
Good place to be very clean store people always willing to help because that’s their job and they do it perfectly
Its the Home Depot everyones favorite place.
I’ve never met a nice or helpful employee at this location, they are usually downright rude, but hey Home Depot has good prices & selection so I keep going
We order counter topsince december they don’t deliver the rest until June 22 .we decided to pick it up since its been too long. When we get to the facility nobody there and we call the customer service nobody answer after 45 mins of waiting .we call the .customer service and it take so long to get hold of somebody…very poor on this Bloomington area. they don’t tell you that your order is hold and they dont even tell or call you to let you know why they can’t proceed for the orderThey don’t tell you until you realize that your order been too long so you follow up with them. Once you follow up they will tell you oh you know what theres something wrong with your order so they don’t proceed with the and process the order..I will never go to this home depot in Bloomington again..
The guys and ladies here are great.
We ordered some tile to be sent to the store that unfortunately got damaged in shipping. Luckily Michael and Karl went out of their way to make sure we got something else we liked, and they gave us a generous discount! Everyone at Bloomington Home Depot has been helpful and we are so grateful!
Well staffed store with helpful employees. Self checkout is well staffed as well, and is ready to help at any time. Downside is its a little cramped with all the pallets and displays in aisles. Could have a better snack selection at checkout too. If you want a good nap, just wait at the stoplight to take a left. Expect a busy parking lot. Watch out for the traveling HVAC salesperson too unless you want to uncomfortably decline a free furnace install estimate.
Always great. The organization of theyre lumber really makes no sense though just saying
I went here for a dishwasher. The man that helped me was very informative and polite. He set up delivery and installation for us. I wished I remembered his name for the review.
Once good chain is cheaping down. Less service, less quality.
Bruce was great! He was the only employee who actually walked up to me asking if he could help! This was greatly appreciated! Additionally, Mike in Customer Service is a gem! I had to exchange gloves for larger ones, and had some items to purchase as well. The line at self check out was about 20 miles long, so he kindly offered to check me out there, which was greatly appreciated. Also, gave me a bag with some construction projects for my daughters! Way above and beyond from both these guys. Thank you, keep up the great work!
First time ever there and the associates were very friendly and helpful! Didnt find what I was looking for, was told I had to order it online. However, I did find the new garbage can that I have been looking for at a reasonable price.
A Hispanic man in his 30s working at this location hit on my Fiancé and asked for her number. Completely inappropriate e behavior when someone just asks an employee for help, which he wasnt even able to provide.
Their so nice and helpful there
Came in today and the service desk worker Tammy had the worst attitude! I couldn’t believe how rude I have been treated and I’ve never seen any coworker treated so badly either. Sad to say I will not be returning to this store
I shop at various Home Depot locations for business supplies on a weekly basis. Salvador is the most helpful employee I have ever come across. He stopped to help load 16 sheets of OSB, told me exactly where adhesives were located, then even helped me get them in my truck right after he helped a few other customers load up. Five stars! Give this man another raise!
Overall terrible experience in store. It took multiple times asking for help before help arrived. Then when asked where the combo deal was I saw online. They wouldnt honor it saying it was online only. No where does it say that. So I left frustrated and irritated and empty handed.
Love homie depot
Friendly staff. Im a newbie to home improvement and they are always helpful.
My favorite DYI
Helpful today but didnt have everything I was looking for in the garden department
I like Home Depot. They had what I was looking for. I always appreciate that the lumber is inside the store.
Love this Home Depot. Its big, people are helpful, and they have a great selection.
Staff helpful, including offer to load purchase into car (not used but appreciated )
After going to menards to look at kitchen sinks and faucets, I went here to try my luck. The workers here are far and away ten times more helpful and knowledgeable about the products here. They actually ask if you need help and don’t avoid eye contact at all costs like the Menards employees down the road in Richfield.
Very disappointing come to the electrical department they say they have 44 boxes of the item I’m looking for. I get here and they say it’s somewhere in the store but they can’t find it.
I had a store issued Home Depot card. I had my painter return some paint in 2019 and I got the card with $111 on it. About a month ago I found the card. It still had about $60 on it. I bought $30 of Philips light about a month ago and wanted to finish the remaining $30 on the card. The store clerk told me while smiling that there is no money on the card. I know that not to be the case. I paid for my purchase. Happy to share the receipt with the store. But, this is NOT right, they somehow zeroed out my store credit card! When I asked for history of the spend they told me that is not available. Really? Yeh, you can tell all of the $111 was gone, but you can not tell me by what increments and when... This is fraud!! This is NOT ok. How many people is HD defrauding like this?
If the answers to all my questions are “I don’t know”, why are you even there? I don’t expect employees to know everything, I expect employees to be problem solvers, offer solutions.
I had a great experience. The store was closing within 10min and I needed a air conditioner unit. I asked for help from someone on the floor. He took me directly to the units with great customer service and when I checked out the cashier was also great. I am definitely coming back. This was my first time being in that store and it was a great experience. So sorry I didnt get the names of the people who helped me but I only had a few minutes to shop.
Ok. Menards wouldnt rent me a rental truck because they were not very intelligent and confused about my auto insurance which I have full coverage so I went to home depot with the full coverage and rented a van.
I ordered a snow blower for curbside pickup. I received an email stating that my item was ready for pickup. I arrived at the curbside pickup location at 5:59pm and the webpage said the curbside pickup was closed. I went into the store and was assisted at customer service immediately with no wait. I then waited for them to get my “curbside pickup” item ready. I got out to my car by 6:30 with my item. I’m very annoyed at this experience, I ordered it online for curbside pickup for a quick and easy transaction. I didn’t want to be in the store. I should have just gone in the store and asked an associate to assist me rather than ordering it online since it would have been faster than 30 minutes.
Great clearance going on in the lawn & garden department!
Ryan provided probably the best customer service I’ve experienced since Covid hit. Thanks dude! We found everything we need.
We were looking for several different items and they were very helpful each time. They had everything we needed.
We came into the store today to exchange a shower enclosure that we purchased that had the wrong finish on the hardware (our error in the original purchase). Our goal was to exchange the one we purchased for another of the same product but with the different finish (stainless steel rather than chrome). We asked that the sale price we paid for the original would be honored in the exchange. The manager, Joe Lewinski (manager on duty), said they would not honor the price, a claim that was presented to us by someone other than Joe.This is a terrible practice and service. My family was one of the first set of shareholders in Home Depot. I am very disappointed that this simple matter of good customer service is not a part of Home Depots practice today.Amy Hilden
They need more cashiers, self check out lanes were 1/2 working and the Pro Service people wouldnt check you out if you are not a contractor.
I gave 4 stars because it is very hard to find an employee for help. I wish all of the stores had the same layout so we don’t have to wander all over the place looking for what we need, especially since we can never find an employee to help.
Great experience every time. Today I am extremely thankful for Jim M! He went above and beyond to help my husband and I with a request. I later found out he was actually on his lunch break the whole time he was assisting us! Staff is friendly and it is the amazing service and care that will keep me coming back.
Really busy store, ended up going during Covid and had to make a line outside to get in. Automatically turned around and found a hidden gem. Ended up at the Richfield location and did not make anyone wait outside even with full capacity inside. Never again thought of going to Bloomington location.
Bought some nice plants..good selection.
This home depot location is a reliable and easy to access. Their facilities are clean and there is always someone to help you if you need. They do have lumber parking and a garden center. They are not the biggest location locally but usually have most items or are able to order in quickly. They do have a small number of truck rentals available but not always the type you might be looking for so be sure to call beforehand. If you want to avoid talking to people use the home depot mobile app. It will show you in store locations and a map to find them. Or you can scan a shelf item barcode to learn more about it.
A lot of the stuff I need for home projects, only down side is at times its hard finding an employee to help you in a spacific section.
Went in to get shelving. I asked for help from a guy who told me to wait while he went and found a tape measure. After six minutes he came back with one still in the box.I told him he could round down to the nearest inch if he needed to. Apparently that also meant to round up whenever it was convenient for him. About half of the shelving doesnt fit and now I have to figure out how to cut this shelving myself. This Home Depot is consistent though. Help is not very willing to help and when they do they dont really care about the quality of the job. The advice at this Home Depot is also usually wrong and causes harm to whatever youre working on. Besides that, they usually have pretty good products and supplies for a good price.
Easily the best home improvement store
It a home improvement box store what can you say
Its had the part for my wheelbarrow that I need ed but you wont sell it separately so Ill go to menards Their wheelbarrows are much cheaper and you get 11% off
Went in for a lawn mower and Ryan acted very condescending to me but was very polite to my boyfriends he seems to be very misogynistic.
Do they have what you need? Yeah probably. Is there ANYBODY around to help you find it, much less help you make any sort of informed decision about what youre buying?Probably not.
Customers and staff were rude. As my wife and I were looking at tension rods (which were mostly out of stock and therefore we had some deliberating to do) staff a few feet away from us snarkly and passive aggressively said its hard to make a decision, isnt it? Instead of simply asking if we needed help so they could close the aisle around us and get something from above. Then an entitled group of customers surrounded my wife as she was looking for large light switch covers and said We were here first and made her stop looking and have to back up because they were inches away from her. Never coming to this burb HD again.
More help to find things
Bought water heater with Son the line was a little slow and using self checkout and had to wait for attendant to put in Military discount. Attendant was very courteous and helpful.
Always have something for me to buy
The guys at the Paint Dept. are awesome and very helpful.
Layed out good. Helpful employees.
These guys are terrible at cutting!
Better then Richfield
Im a huge believer in Home Depot, when it comes to the pros they are knowledgeable and willing to help. I have ordered large items twice now through them and I have been very disappointed both times. The first was a order of about 15 blinds (a few thousand dollars worth) it was toward the end of shift and the employee clearly entered the info off the list I gave wrong because they were rushing to go. We had to re order half the blinds.. I know it was their mistake because I still had a photo of the list from the project and compared the measurement to what was entered... the second problem was ordering a bathtub. The employee first told me I could order it myself offline, when I said I wanted to do it in store she sighed and rushed the order. She didn’t enter my email correct never showed me a screen to verify anything and in the end I couldnt track the order due to with email being invalid. She also ordered me 2 drains and shipped them to 2 places..? What? They had estimated delivery for the bathtub as the 31st. On the 31st they pushed it to the 2nd, and today I called and they said the 4th. The entire project is held up waiting on this and I have had to reschedule twice now with annoyed laborers who could have done other jobs. Again been a fan of homedepot for years but will never order an item through them again. If your going to put any real money into a project use other provider to order the items needed. Covid or not don’t give an expectation for time you can’t hold to.
I love the Bloomington home Depot. Ive been going there for years. I ordered some stuff last night at midnight and it was ready to go at 9:00 a.m. when I picked it up. They brought it out promptly and I was on my way. Great store
Went to home depot at 8 am to beat crowds cause I needed help getting a blind cut. 2 employees, abandoned me in the aisle, one being a customerr service lady. No one seemed to know who could help me, so it was easierf for them to scamper off. Waited 20 min in the aisle when someone said they would send help that never arrived... feel like a Puerto Rican after the hurricane, just left... doesnt feel good home depot...
Great customer service. Very knowledgeable employees.
Im a handiman and im beginning to feel like Im finding more tools and products to get the job done! Its starting to stand out for me as i like certain rools and products based on my desire to do quality workmanship. For me its not always price, but quality of products. Hats off to these guys i think theyre headed in the right direction. And the service is bar none to their competitors.
Stuff is nice and friendly
No trash cans
Im always amazed by the customer service at Home Depot... Always looking to satisfy the customers needs.!
Exelent costomer service
Best place in the neighborhood to get groceries and descent produce!
We have Home Depot in Eagan but we like this location because of their helpful staff specially BRODY in the flooring and tile department. I wish he can be cloned. 🤣🤣🤣 What a wonderful asset to this branch. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He spent his time guiding us for our DIY project. If you find yourself wanting to install new floors or backsplash, look for Brody.I used to shop at Menards for my projects because of their rebate promo but their staff is not that knowledgeable and not helpful so we go to Home Depot mostly now for what we need.
I went to the home Depot today to pick up some electrical things I didnt have a clue what I really needed I had a couple of pictures on my phone of the outlets that I needed to replace. Terry ended up helping me out he did a fantastic job. Come to find out he was from the garden department. But he sure knew his stuff when it came to electrical and I needed help. Kudos to Terry from the garden department for a job well done in the electrical department
Hot and cold on this store. I love Home Depot for their product. The returns area does a good job. The store staff is sometimes helpful, but often they avert their eyes and scurry away to get out of having to interact with a customer. I once had a staff person purposely ram my cart with his cart in order to get it out of his way. The manager apologized for this, but the fact that it happened was astonishing.
