Make sure before you leave with your food you look at it! I ordered 3 sandwiches to go and when I got home it had 1 fried egg and 1 piece of sausage on one and one piece of bacon on the other 2 sandwiches. Paid almost 5 for all there and that’s what I get? This is a rip off! I rather go to a bagel place next time! The only things that is great there is the service! Dine in never take out!

The service is fast and efficient. You will be recognized after a few visits and greeted like an old friend. The food is good. We go back because we always know what to expect and are seldom disappointed. It is not fancy but is always consistent.

I love this place I been coming here since I was 12 years old and now Im 31 year old I still come here with my family the owner the staff are so great warm welcoming as soon as u enter. I highly recommend this place for those to visit for themselves so they can see what I am talking about.

Great, local place. Food came out quick. Great specials before 11AM. The French toast is Amazing! Also, the thick pork sausage is a must have. Service was very nice; sit anywhere kind of place. Great prices and lots of food for your money. Only complaint, Corned beef hash is not homemade... But, everything else is great! Coffee was very fresh. Would certainly come back.

Chef refused to make an omelette to order. Must be really hard to leave green peppers out of any dish. Salsa they served is not the typical tomato based salsa I believe 99% of people expect when you ask for salsa. It was some type of onion and mushroom mix. Food wasnt good enough to warrant a second visit.Waitress was very nice and apologetic.

Poor customer service...very poor attitude, even after calling management ...I got the impression that she does not care about how the employees act towards customer(s)nor thier overall performance...The two waitress(s) in the main dining area are tip $$$ hungry...I entered the restaurant approached the waitress at the front counter table with the bar stool chairs..whom was very nice...she instructed me to sit where my heart desired...Under that impression I in turn sat in a chaired round table....Keep in mind, that there were 3-5 empty tables for sitting up to 4-5 people...Im waiting for a menu and these waitresss are more worried about my sitting in a specific table rather then serving my person as a customer....and keep in mind the dining area was empty...meaning it was more unprofessional attitude and malicious conduct rather then courteous customer service to a disabled veteran of the United States military. No courtesy...and completely rude....really ruined my morning...

This is a restaurant I have frequented for over a decade. I have family in the area and we usually come here to get a bite to eat. I enjoy this place and it has so many memories.
Good comfort food...taste like a home-cooked meal! However, the wait time was a nuisance because I was starving but the waitress apologies. Kudos to the chef!
I ordered off of the menu they didnt have the first two choices I picked settled for the chicken parm I was a little disappointed not much flavor at all it was a little too bland for my liking needed more Italian seasoning to bring it up a notch sauce was not good to me and chicken was really bland
Ordered a cheese omelette with a side of bacon.Also ordered Philly cheese steak sandwich.Shame on me for not checking my order before driving 25 minutes away.Instead of a cheese omelette with bacon on the side. I got two very runny eggs maybe even undercooked, and Instead of regular bacon, I received Turkey Bacon.Maybe they ran out of bacon and tried to pass off the turkey bacon as regular? Its a very noticeable taste difference. Wife had to becauthrow away it away because shes pregnant and the doctor advised her not to have runny or undercooked eggs and we dont have the time to drive an hour total between back and forth because we are pressed for time.Also came with white toast and I we ordered wheat. Thats not a big deal though. Just adding they really screwed up the order.Cheesesteak came on a round roll but that was at least tolerable.Not sure what they think a Philly cheese steak is supposed to be either. But either way Im at a loss for my money and time.SUCKS!

Where do I begin with how bad my experience at this diner was ? From the moment me, my husband, kids and my parents step in you could hear a pin drop. I didn’t know this was 1946 and biracial families were non existent. But besides the blatant discrimination, the service was absolute trash. We were a table of six they point us to a table with only four chairs. We waited a full two mins before I had to mention the absence of two chairs. We were literally given two folding chairs. Then we waited two more mins for someone to ask what we wanted to drink. After being asked our drink order which never came until the manager/boss came and asked us for a second time for our drink order which he brought finally. Then we waited another five minutes for my kids drinks to be brought. Three more tables were seated before we were asked for our order. At that point twenty minutes had passed before a waitress finally took our order. Another 25 minutes passed before we finally came. My husband for a green pepper omelette with bacon and home fries. The bacon was not on the plate yet when the check came they tried to charge us. I I asked for two plates with bacon no home fries yet load and behold there were home fries on their plates. Not to mention we were missing utensils and I had to ask three times before we got our utensils. And last but not least the ppl that were seated after us were served before us. The antiquated diner is unprofessional and slow. The staff chooses who to serve and how quickly they’ll serve you and seat you a their tables without making sure it’s fully equipped. My recommendation is don’t ever go to this diner.

Been coming here since i was an elementary school. Im 21 now and no longer live in bloomfield but i still come here! I moved to bergen county, central jersey, now in hudson county but i still drive all way to this diner. Love this place. Their breakfast special are the best!
