Hero Doughnuts is amazing! They always have delicious and fun flavors of donuts. They are a little pricy for a donut, but the quality is good enough to keep me coming back! I haven’t tried their other food options but they look good as all! I will be returning!

Hero Doughnuts & Buns is amazing. Everything we tried was great! Highly recommend the doughnuts. Service was excellent. I left a very happy camper.

Donuts and Beer! We visited after the morning rush and had a limited donut selection to choose from (as expected) but we still left happy. Fresh and delicious. We will return to try the breakfast options. Great location by Railroad Park! Go for a walk to work off the extra calories! 🤣

I was in town and walking down to another place for lunch, and Hero caught my eye! I very much enjoyed my meal as well as the doughnut, and I look forward to going back.The portions were appropriate, and the service was lovely. I dont recall a better burger Ive had in a long while, honestly.

Had the absolute best experience today. Lee went above and beyond and I was truly humbled by his thoughtfulness. The bread pudding donut is a must have!!!

My husband took my kids and I here on July 31st of 2021 and when I tell you that if I was asked what desert would I have for the rest of my life it would have to be Heroes banana pudding Doughnuts, I may become a diabetic and obese but I would be satisfied with that!! 😂😂😍😍

Very good donuts with lots of frosting. They have a wide selection including maple sea salt and key lime pie. The donuts are very sugary but sometimes thats what you need. Fun fact they also serve draft beer!Its also a really cool location and the inside feels like a 50s diner. I highly recommend this establishment.

Great spot for a quick bite after walking around the park. Doughnuts are a bit pricey but they are mostly doughnuts you don’t see around much, and they all taste great! Service was really nice too.

This place is amazing! The breakfast buns were so delicious. Good ingredients, carefully prepared. Delicious. The hash browns are potato perfection. Handmade, tasty, crunchy and not at all greasy. Great coffee (they did it, congratulations) and donuts too.

The donuts here are undeniably good, but the real star of the show is their breakfast sandwiches (or buns as they call them). One of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had in my life. Definitley worth a visit!

Food is always great (the breakfast sandwiches are exceptional), donuts are excellent, the staff is friendly and efficient, the aesthetic is great, and the place is always clean. I get breakfast here about once a week; its never a disappointment, and Ive somehow never gotten tired of it. Highly recommend.

Its REALLY overpriced for such low quality ingredients, I just cant justify $11 for a sausage biscuit or $14 for a breakfast plate. No wonder this place is always empty

The donuts are perfect and airy. Quick service and good selection of specialty and classic favorites. I especially liked the peanut butter and chocolate donut. Definitely worth the two block walk.

I pretty much eat at Heros everyday! I dont mind throwing my money at them because their food is so good! Lee and Gabe are doing a great job!

Well we did kind of arrive at 438pm. Normally the hero burger would be off the charts, but sadly to say it was over done. So it was just ok. I would definitely recommend it. Just make sure you get a double. Ranch fries were great. See ya there for lunch.

Everything was wonderful from service to quality. Sarah, one of the servers was awesome and friendly we had a great visit with her and one of the regular customers. I was visiting from California and felt right at home. The highlight of my meal was the blackberry jam. I took a small bit home and scrapped the container for one last taste on my morning toast. I am going back just to get more jam.

Great variety of donuts and breakfast items. I will return. Unique flavors of home made donuts across from Railroad Park.

We popped in after walking around the park for doughnuts and mimosas. Both were tasty!! There was a slight delay with the mimosas and the staff were super polite in correcting the situation and even provided a free doughnut. The great customer service is appreciated. We’ll be back!

Pricey but very much worth it!

The bread pudding doughnut is very good. The salted maple is ok...but Im just not a fan of salty doughnuts. Cute place but the doughnuts are very pricey.

I work a labcorp across the street n I go here for lunch bout 3 to 4 times a day. Its the cheese taters for me. They are delicious 😋

The service is always great. The doughnuts are always delicious. I tried the food today and I was very disappointed. The fries tasted like someone dropped the container of seasoning salt on them. The bagel with a fried egg was not cooked thoroughly ( I do not like my egg leaking)

The service was outstanding. And the burgers were very good. Great place to grab a quick meal before a Barons game.

Very fun environment and great doughnuts. Husband LOVED the cinnamon roll! We took the doughnuts to go and sat in the near by park to eat them.

Amazing! Must check out if you’re in Birmingham! We got the kolaches, donuts, and loaded tater tots (a must!) everything was so good but the tater tots were my favorite. The service was also great! The manager (I think her name was Sarah) was fantastic and super helpful and kind. Definitely one of the high lights of our trip!

The porpchop sandwich here is too good not to try at least 7 to 567 times. Tell everyone you know. Also every donut is delightful, but the coconut is the winner for me.

I’ve been at least 20 times for the Apple Fritters which are delicious. The coffee is good, but often is not warm enough for me after the first half is drank. I’ve tried the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich which I did not care for at all, it is served with some sort of spread on it that I didn’t care for, also did not like the chewy bun that it was made with. I’ve had a few different donuts and found them kind of chewy and sort of thick and dry.

Solid food, cant go wrong. But wish I could give more than 5 stars for their orange juice alone!

This has become a go to place for my wife to meet me for lunch. The sandwiches are wonderful and Id put these doughnuts up against anywhere

Very disappointing. They were out of donuts. There were none! I have tried this location before but they were closed. I will not try again. There are too many other options in the area.

First time visit and it was awesome! Food great, doughnuts magnificent. Woild have given 5 stars, but it was freezing inside, and a bit uncomfortable.

Everything Ive had here has always been good or great. Its more of a 4.5 star place to me since Im not crazy about the jam they put on some of the breakfast plates. All of the donuts are some the best youll ever try so you really cant go wrong with any of them but my favorite is the Cereal Milk. Ive also had the yogurt bowl and the chicken sandwich and both were amazing!

Came back from Atlanta I sware to god these are the best donuts I’ve ever had in my life. Feels like I’m biting into a cloud of bliss bless y’all!

Great food and great donuts, but they no longer accept call in orders, so if you want to place a to go order and pay cash you’re out of luck. Unfortunately they’re losing my business until this changes.

Their donuts taste great! We especially like the strawberry, pistachio and cookies and creme ones.

Great, friendly service. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing; the doughnuts are even better. I especially enjoyed the bread pudding doughnut and the blueberry crumble doughnut. My wife enjoyed the pistachio doughnut. Definitely will revisit.
