Very unorganized! Way too many aisles blocked with caution tape. I understand that employees have to restock, but my goodness, I could hardly see items. Perhaps my visit on a Monday, was coming off of a very busy weekend?? Shelves are not clearly marked for markdown, and this was very confusing. Friendly staff who greet you as you are coming in and leaving.

This is the most disorganized store ever. You can find great deals but, because there is a BIG BUT, you need to spend twice as much time to look through, and check its in working order. There is a table with plugs at the end of the store to test things. A LOT of stuff is broken or damaged. How can theyll it at only 40% off! It should be at least 75% off when its damaged. Since there is NO return policy, you take your chances, especially with electronics. Like yesterday, I bought a Canon laser color printer (unopened box) for 90% off the reg price! Yeah. I plugged, it, tested it and it worked!!!!! Sometimes, they sell several identical items, all with something wrong or missing parts. Take the parts of one to complete the one you want to buy. Another thing, the sticker price is not what you will pay. Usually you pay less. Use their app to scan the QR code. The app is buggy, sometimes it just asks you to log-in, sometimes you dont need to bc it knows its you. Finally, If the store was neat and tidy, I would give it 4 stars.

Dirt Cheap jacks up their prices two or three times the original price trying to get the original price or a profit. Every once and awhile you might find a deal but 99% of the time you wont. Anytime you see something you like you better Google it up first and you see information about it.

Great place to shop. The staff is always polite, always willing to help and the manager is spectacular. I always find great prices and great deals.

Some good buys, alot of there items are marked extremely high so that when the discount is applied the price is normal store prices.

Awesome place, great staff and the deals on their wide selection of products is a cant miss opportunity. They even have a app that lets you know the price of any item you scan with your phone before you get to the check out line. If you havent been yet definitely stop by.

First time ever in a Dirt Cheap store and holy bananas this is my kind of store! Was it messy and unorganized? Yes! That made the hunt for things more fun. The clothing was a tad confusing but I had more fun in the other parts of the store. I bought so many things for my craft room that I was looking for at other stores but for dirt cheap. Another new favorite store that I had come across on a whim.

I really like this store but it could use a better or neater way to stock their items. Its very messy and management at this store is awful. On our first visit to the store the manager was very rude about me and my fiance wearing a mask and they had just mandated that we didnt have to wear them. A couple was walking out the door and they were kicked out of the store for that very reason not having a mask. Also after we were yelled at, we were then followed around the whole store. I couldnt find another associate to help me with the pricing the items. I like the store because you can find great deals but customer service sucks there! Thats all. Thanks for reading!

This place is horrible its nothing like it was when I 1st visited it last year

The only difference between this store and just picking through the trash is that the store has shelves and likely smells better. The stuff that wasnt just junk also wasnt a deal. Save your money and your time and just go to Walmart or your local thrift store.

I was able to find a few items I wanted and the price was cheap. I recommend going there. Just look at your item closely.

Fun place to find good deals.

You have to just visit this place worth the trip and you won’t go home empty handed. Plenty of yard sale stuff all new. Dirt cheap! No haggle pricing, shoes clothes, and household items better than Dollar General and Wallymart.

Good prices but you have to check each item. Got 4 filters for the central heat on clearance. Same filter with same original barcode. 3 different prices. Didnt actually see any workers except the cashiers. Both of them were working the same register.

The place is a mess and everything is overpriced. Most all the packages are opened with either nothing in them or parts missing. Not enough employees to help customers. This is the dirt cheap in homewood alabama.

I found Dirt Cheap by accident one day when I needed a skirt to where for a meeting but did not have time to go home to chage. I was blown away at some of the great prices I saw. I found a skirt but no price tag and grabbed another similar. Went to dressing room and tried on. Loved the one without a price tag the most. The other one was a Style similar. I took to see what price the one I liked the most might compare to the 1 marked $15.99 The cashier was great. She found the price tag and it was $150!!! I told her Id have up get the $15.99 one. Then she rang up the more expensive skirt and it rang up $1!!! She smiled and explained that it was suppose to have been taken off the floor. So I paid $1 for a $150 skirt! It was cute but not to pay full price. I cannot wait yo go back. I never made it to the back area where I saw tons of shoes

I go here from time to time to find odds and ends at super cheap prices! If you dont like looking through scattered shelves and bins then this may not be the place for you, but if youre willing to look and spend some time then you never know what you may find! Ive gotten lots of great things here, new, unboxed, salvaged, etc. Also good that they have a table for testing your products before you buy, since theres no return policy. I will continue to go here for fun!

Prices are suppose to be cheap, but in reality the sales prices drops to the actual prices if you were to by it another store. I had to a dispute with the store manager regarding the sign sale price.That was my first time in there and Probably my last time.And the store could have been a little more organized.

This Dirt Cheap could be an awesome store and the first time I went about a year ago I liked it, but ever since it has been a downhill slide. Prices are really messed up (See example below- retail $3.00, dirt cheap price $30.00?! The whole stack was like this and many other items’ prices were similarly marked up) and many tags won’t scan using the Dirt Cheap app. They have tons of messy, poorly displayed and poorly organized products. I expect to have to look around at stores like this, but a lot of the store seems like they didn’t even try to be organized. I have also seen several employees, even a manger, being rude to guests. If you want to go to Dirt Cheap I would recommend you go to the location in Forestdale. It is worth the drive for a better organized store with kinder employees.

100% recommended to and good clothes at a good price

Junk and high prices, everything all over the place no way to tell whats on discount or what amount of the discount. Never go there again!

I love this place. Just watch the prices. They arent the best value on everything but there is a great variety and definitely worth the 15 mins it took to check out. I moved to Michigan 10 years ago but dirt cheap is the place to make sure to shop when Im in town. You will surely find something you like and need at a good price. It would be 5 stars but checking out was a bit long.

Many things overpriced, many boxes open and missing parts. You need to do to the bottom of the boxes to find what you want and thats priced reasonably.

This store is like a thrift store(majority of everything was savaged) with marked down store prices lol... Its always cluttered and you have to find something that originally go with a item cause everything is throwed around... Not worth the scramble to look for anything honestly, 🤷🏽‍♀️could be better if organized... Not how it used to be at all

Very messy. A lot of stuff is broken with 50% off retail. Customer service is a joke. No one tries to help and when asked they point towards someone else. They decide to have a meeting with pretty much everyone that works there and they didnt move or ask if anyone needed help at electronics. I left. This has happened multiple times. I will take my business elsewhere.

The store could be a little intimidating at first but once you start looking you really find goods things at a good price. They have a large variety of items. I do recommend that you download the Dirt Cheap app...it is so much easier to shop with the app. Also, use good judgment because some things are overpriced even when marked down. Dirt Cheap is a place to shop with intention lol. #shopsmartsavemoney

I had a great time at Dirt Cheap! The store is amazing, and lives up to its name. It has everything-- home furnishings, housewares, clothes for everyone in the family, electronics, health and beauty products and toys. The $1.00, $2.00, $3.00 clothes racks are packed with name brands just like the $5.00-$10.00 clothes racks. Great store!

It’s worth checking them if you have the time because you can run across a bargain once in a while but anything desirable they start out at practically full retail regardless of condition then they lower the price a little at a time the longer it sits unsold to be sure they got all they could for it which isn’t a bad business practice but as for buying merchandise goes unless you find something desirable that hasn’t sold for a while for whatever reason you aren’t going to get all that much of a bargain.

I love the store! You can find some great thinga! I bought a floor lamp for $27 that was over $145, plus tax and delivery fees online. The only downside is that some stiff is still in the boxes and you have to open them up to see whats in them. It takes some time to figure out if thats what youre looking for.

It was my first visit to the store, an shower head original price was $58 or $59 and some change, Dirt Cheap price for the that item is half that price..😱 Thats not dirt cheap to me

For a discarded discount store the hidden jewels of this place is amazing for travelers. I found a cross gender doll. I thought how progressive Birmingham AL is. WOW!

An interesting store for those looking for a bargain. They seem to sell just about anything and everything, which is great. Only key note is that the place is semi disorganized, so just be prepared to dig around.

Do you like digging in bins? Searching through racks? Amazing prices coupled with everyday discounts based on color codes tags. Allow lots of time to truly look as its much larger than it appears~ One of those... Casually looking turns into four hours, kinda spots. Great value

This is a huge warehouse with discounted items, many are damaged boxes or some missing items, but if youre lucky you will find an undamaged item and it will be literally dirt cheap. A $40 item can be $8.00. They are definitely going to compete with Crazy Cazboys. Some sections of the store are roped off for some reason but otherwise you can find everything from toys, electronics and video games, home decor, pool items and outdoor items. They get a decent amount of shoppers as well. ALSO: they give 20% military discounts!

Great Markdown Items for a Wonderful Price!!

Everything I have gotten at Dirt Cheap has been great. Not only did the stuff work, but I got such a great deal on what I did get I almost had to pinch myself. Take your time, match the letter on the item with the chart to see the percentage discount. That is the catch here, but if you know going into this thing that you will have to use your brain then you will have fun. Look at it like it is a scavenger hunt! On my last visit I spent $40 roughly and walked out with at least $250 worth of nice stuff. My only criticism is how confusing it is to adjust the price based on the letter on the tag and having to do the math on the whole thing. Hey, this would be a great way to teach your kids about percentages! As an adult, it can be a bit annoying. The staff at Dirt Cheap is great by the way. Polite and helpful, one girl even said I was not crazy after I made the comment, Excuse me, but as crazy as this question might seem.....how do you determine the discount? I was confused, what can I say.

I cant stop telling everyone I know about how awesome the deals were on pretty much everything I looked at! Definitely cluttered and unorganized to say the least but with enough time allowed to go through everything I guarantee you will leave satisfied with your purchase and the total overall cost. Always great deals. One thing I do not like is that sometimes this place looks like a tornado just ripped through there. Pay attention to make sure the item you picked up is where it belongs or you may get a misleading price. Other than that great place to shop. Awesome employees with great customer service.

Great prices. But you really have to dig through stuff and look for what you want. No where near organized but for the prices they have it doesnt even matter whether theyre organized or not.

Everything was together and not as organized as other places. I was expecting each department to be separated by at least tops and bottoms but it was not. However the overall appearance was much neater than other locations.

Has some good deals if you dont mind searching and digging through items. The whole store is an organized mess. I found some good deals but I also found some items that were marked up higher than what you can get on Amazon. The best deals are on clothing and seasonal items.

Had not been there in some time. The clothes are so tightly packed together its impossible to browse. The majority of items are priced so high that even with the 40-60% or more discount, I can still do better at another discount store. Wont be going back.

Great deals, but to say that the store is disorganized is a collosal understatement. You might find anything on any aisle. Clothes are crammed onto racks with little distinction. Most boxes are damaged. Its like going to a thrift store, but with new items and less organization. There some items that looked like they may have been defective and returned. If you have the time and the patience Im sure you can get a deal on something.

Unfortunately every time I go to the store it is hard to find anything everything is sort of just dumped into a bin or on a shelf. This particular visit I stood in line and ended up having to leave before I even made it to the cashier because they were taking so long and only had two cashiers with people lined up.

Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE me some Dirt Cheap..however..this location is one of the most unorganized Ive ever been to. All locations are different, but this one needs to do better with organization. Sheets, towels, shower curtains, etc should not be all entangled together in a bin. I dont mind searching for items, but I dont want to spend 30 minutes untangling 20 different items just to get to one. So until they do better, Ill gladly keep driving to the location in Oxford, AL
