The lines are usually always long unless you go early in the morning. They only have one register open with a actual human being working. Other than that all of the self check outs are card only most of the time which is inconvenient. I just go to Publix, I dont mind spending an extra dollar or two for peace of mind and good customer service.

Im always happy to see all my favorite employees working hard and keeping the customers happy even when theyre having a rough day. They keep a smile and diligently help all customers.

I dont like that theres two checkout lanes. Most times theres only one or neither open. Customers have to do self checkout, pay and bag their own groceries. What happened to comparative prices?! Walmart stop doing that a few years ago after yall closed a lot of other GOOD stores down. Now yall prices are so high! Once again, Im going to limit my shopping at Walmart stores.

Everything was smooth, quick, easy trip in and out and including checking out with the self scanners. We only needed a few items so it worked out great. Going to Walmart grocery store 1 and a half hours before they close it is a perfect time to go, if able.

Everything was easy to locate. Staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was pleasant and accessible. Amid whats going on all over the world, the shopping experience was peaceful and rewarding 🙂 Even met a wonderful older couple who were just as happy as I was to be out among others with similar goals in mind.

I use to love this store as far as Walmarts go, groceries only. But, some of the morning ladies that have been there for years look at you like its completely beneath them to have to deal with you or theyre completely miserable. Either or.People make the place. You know?

THEY ARE NOT OPEN until 10:30 like google says! The doors are barricaded, and folks are having to peel the doors open to exit. Urg what bullchit, typical of Walmart2 months LATER 10/23/20- They Have someone at the door turning folks away at 9:21

WHAT happened to all the shopping carts???? NOT ONE basket was located at the front entrance!!!! Had to wait 10 minutes for a basket. WHY!??? I asked 2 different employees and got 2 different answers. Not a good look. Will NOT be back unless Im running in to grab something. FYI: ALL check out registers are self check out - unless the 2 cashier lines are open.

Well, it has everything you need. Same great Wal-Mart prices that youre used to. Accept it has the home town grocery store feel. Really really easy to get in and out of the parking lot. They also had more than enough check out lanes open and available, so we got out of there fast. Most Wal-Marts have few check out lanes open making check out a hassle. The employs where very nice, friendly, and helpful. This will be where i shop from now on. I cant express how pleased i was with my experience.

No employee/customer interactions, which makes this store perfect for shoppers that want to experience absolute self service. I just dont understand how one day every single checkout is open with no wait and two days later they struggle to have even have two registers open. I wouldnt do my main shopping here but its good for a quick, small mid week haul.

I like shopping at the Walmart Palisades but since the epidemic there are lots of items that are no longer there and whereas I can substitute a lot of things the prices are steadily rising . Somethings I understand but this I dont!!

Every time go to the deli they never have the chocolate chip cookies for a dollar always oatmeal or raisin cookies is some one grandma baking or ppl like other flavors please stop with the old ppl cookies

Excellent employees. I am new to this store and they helped me find what I needed several times or if I had a question. Then there were not enough bags and she immediately brought a fresh batch to replenish.

Good for what it is. Need quick groceries with little to no employee interaction? This is your place. Practice your self check out skills tho. Especially if youre buying a cart full. I wouldnt come for large hauls tho

Waited over 20 minutes with 2 screaming toddlers for a pickup.

The one on greenspring is pretty cool its not as its not as crowded as the one in Wildwood service is okay last moves very fast over there if its a holiday as youre not to go there otherwise its its getting in and get out traffic is not really heavy and backed up like it is in Wildwood of course but some great employees there they sending another job pretty good and pretty friendly helping you if thats a problem with you scanning your own products thats it.

I got my shot at this Neghborhood Market. They people help me feel safe and calm when I got there and after .

This walmart is very unorganized as far as directing customers designated lines as far asthe scan and go VS cashiers checkout .There were three lines and they come and send you to the back of two lines when we are not informed as far as where the lines begin.They embarass you like its your fault that the employees or a sign line on the floor or an arrow from the ceiling guiding you on the way the lines are to be formed .It causes a lot of confusion and chaos between customers as well as employees and customers .

Its always busy with a different variety of goods every time basically things stay fresh

Nice and friendly little Walmart. When I last visited there lots of people standing around outside talking to a few employees. There were no carts so a few other people and me had to get them from the parking lot. I didnt mind, but one of the people waiting for a cart was an elderly woman; luckily a person brought her a cart as well. But I didnt like how no one standing around appeared to be wanting to help. Besides the last visit, its normally a great Neighborhood Walmart.

I went to return an item at this location & I have to say the employee who helped me that day, was either having a really bad day or just didnt want to be there. It was the worst customer service Ive ever had. I didnt want to give this review, but unfortunately I have to. Hopefully the young lady is feeling better & having better days.

Woo Hoo!!! What a breath of fresh air to go to a neighborhood Wal-Mart and not feel as if the whole neighborhood in the store with you!😛 It was fairly full but enough of a space to shop in and pick up all you essentials and creature comforts without being harassed or breaking the bank. I love Wal-Mart and the streamlined neighborhood version to the point where I will do the majority of my shopping there. Take a tour of the neighborhood version; you just may be pleasantly surprised😀

Couldve had more cashiers opened, only was one line with many express checkouts. Didnt have what i wanted that was on line in the store but it was okay.

One of the best markets. Stuff is always in stock and even when there’s a line, it moves quickly and efficiently. I know many people stray away from the Palisades, but this Walmart market is hands-down one of my favorite places to shop now.

Some of the worst customer service youll ever see. Ironically the customer service desk closes randomly seemingly whenever they feel like it. If you dare to ask why they close it at 2 on a Monday afternoon, all youll is attitude.

I was not very happy this time at Walmart in Hueytown. I paid for my items and 2 propane tanks, cashier said she is sending someone to get my tanks for me. I drove to the garden section were the tanks are. It was an hour and a half before someone finally came and unlocked the tanks. Now in that hour and a half I went back into Walmart, I called twice and even spoke to a Manager.

Good choice of in-stock products. Their coronavirus precautions also seemed careful and thorough. This isnt the store I normally shop because there is one closer to home, but I will go back when Im nearby.

Getting better...but then lines are whats so upsetting. Customer service could be better as well. Over it is convenient and they tend to keep the shelves somewhat stock for the most part. I still would rather go to a neighborhood vs. the superstore any day!

Some of the employees were not helpful. A few at the entrance were busy talking to other employees and not directing traffic. It was hard locating the buggies because no one was bringing them back to the entrance. There were a few employees who helped me with finding items but other than that, my experience here wasnt great.

The young ladies and gentlemen in the pharmacy area are always TOP NOTCH!!!💯

Awesome. I only waited about after arriving for them to bring my groceries to my car.

It was a mad house had to on shopping carts and it was raining. Had only older man bringing the carts from parking lot. He was doing his best and Inside only two cashier. The rest was self-service and Im Handicapped it was interesting.

Every time I go to the location either employees are rude and unhelpful or they’re nowhere to be found. The CS line is always long. The selection of bakery breads has been lacking in the last week or so so has the lunch meat wall. Between the inflated prices and lack of proper customer service I would much rather drive the extra 3-5 minutes and shop at the Super Walmart on Lakeshore.

This place is so ghetto, its outrageous I will NEVER spend money there EVER..... again..! & this is one of the reasons, it starts with the management....!

I like Walmart but at this particular one in Homewood for lines are sometimes all the way back to the meat case and that stinks I have put some items back and left and went to Publix and was in and out in 5 minutes there where at at Walmart it would have taken at least 15 or 20 minutes just to get to the front of the line and I understand we are going through the covid thing but come on open up some more lines

Its like a young Walmart. Not quite all grown up and repairing brakes and stuff😂. But to be just a kid it was a capable whipper snapper. Fresh produce and generally all your other family necessities. Convenient location, great prices.
