One of my favorite places to shop. The deals are great and a lot of the stuff is marked down by 1/2 or more.The employees arent always the nicest, though. A friend and I went in this afternoon because we thought it closed at 9 instead of 8 (google hasnt updated their closing time yet, so we didnt know) and they literally called out on the intercoms probably 3-5 times that they closed in 59 mins, 43 mins, and so on. We were in the store maybe 30 minutes total, but the intercom thing was every 5-10 mins

The last year or so, I havent enjoyed going here. Everything is priced higher than other locations, theres a lot of expired food (by at least 1 month). Theres either no customer service, or theyre very slow. The store is also much more junky than other locations and the clothing aisles are too narrow. Theres so much unused space they could use to stretch it out a bit.

Great prices and great selection of products. Definitely worth the stop.

Note: This location did not renew their lease in Brook Highland Shopping Center and will close sometime in May 2021.

My first time to go to Bargain Hunt. They have a little bit of everything. It was a busy place. I ask another person did they think it was cheaper, he said this is the first time I have ever been here also. The had some really niceappliances that had a big retail stores name on the paperwork. I have been wanting to get humidifier that will do cool and warm mist. Brand names, but the looked like returns. As I was at my car putting my items in, a very sweet older couple was walking to their car with a buggy. They said you never know what you will find from one day to the next.The employees were really busy, but took time to help you, very nice and welcoming. The cashier that checked me out had me to fill out a card so I can get sales, specials offers and news about all the deals. I give them 💯% I will be back in a couple of weeks.

I had previously enjoyed shopping at this store several times a month under the previous female manager. However, my experience with the current male manager has been very poor with unprofessional, dishonest, and uncaring customer service. I was spoken to loudly and demeaned in front of another employee for asking a question about a transaction I made. He treated me as though I had interrupted his work and was a waste of his time. I will no longer shop here, low price or not. Great customer service, honesty, and respect are more important.

The new manager is much better it was pleasant to see everyone so eager to help you. I spent tonight speaking with her and she above and beyond her job to help me find pieces for my new apartment. It was nice to give them another chance with a manager who actually wants to help you. They were out a few things but they just received a truck today and was putting out.

Found a beautiful 6 piece queen sheet set for $15. Cant beat that. Had to return my daughters lounge pillow I got for her birthday gift bc of a broken zipper, but I walked in, found another one in perfect condition and walked out in 5 minutes!

First time to visit here. I gave it a 3 because I feel the name is a bit deceptive. Bargain, yes on some items. Hunt is totally correct! You must hunt. Its like digging through stuff at a thrift store but items are new. I dont think the prices are that great. If you are a shopper and know your prices on items youll be fine otherwise youll not fair well. Many items Walmart has for $3 to $5 less! I dont think Ill be back. Not saying never, just saying Im not making any special trips!

Store was a mess which was expected being the type of store it. I am giving it 3 stars because their selection of merchandise is nothing like the store on lorna road. Even the discounts arent as good as the discounts on lorna road. Staff was friendly and helpful

I called this store before driving to the other side of town using gas & time about a piece of furniture & a price that I compared to another Bargain Hunts price. The Cashier on the phone told me that the item was available & verified all of my info. Upon my arrival the store manager informs me that the item is available but unfortunately they cant honor that price & that it should actually be DOUBLE the price even though all of them before this one was sold @ the previous amount. I am beyond upset that Ive driven over here to be told Im sorry, oh well WOW! I WILL NEVER CROSS THE THRESHOLD OF THESE DOORS AGAIN!

One member of their staff has a serious attitude issue. I, and everyone in my party, did not appreciate her nasty looks. She not only gave that “there is something foul smelling under my nose” look once, but three times. She even walked backwards to do it the last time. My wife had several items she intended to buy and I had her put them back. We will never return to that store due to her attitude. We are not children running around “her” store. We were a group of adults, all between 40 and 60 years of age, shopping. We have shopped in this store since they opened and will never return. All because of one employee. I will take my money to a store whose employees show at least a tiny bit of respect to their customers.

Very friendly employees. Store was stocked with bargains. Some aisles were empty but some great finds will soon be there.

I loved shopping at Bargain Hunt when they had the papers with dates for additional discounts. They have now taken them away, but I can find good deals anyway with marked down yellow stickers.There is a certain cashier that has been there forever, but is still confused about the additional discounts. The staff that helps with loading are nice and always available to help you load the items in your car.Check your email for discount days that have discounts for brown boxed unassembled items that are sometimes 50 percent, $25 or $10 depending on different locations.The biggest plus for me is they have changed the process for viewing electronics that were previously behind a counter that you could never tell what they had. Now I can hunt for deals with no problem.

You will be surprised; they had kayaks! Nobody in the city has these.

If you are hunting for a bargain, this is the place. I usually get something here, even if I wasn’t looking for anything in particular.

Its clean. Fun to shop for novelty items. Fun for kids who wants to buy fun things with their allowances. Can catch a good deal every now and then.

Stock, or course, changes constantly and the store typically has plenty of stock of various items. Things are fairly well organized and prices are pretty decent.

How can you not acknowledge people when they walk in I ask for help nobody ever came . Customer service doesnt exist there

Went to Bargain Hunt in Crestwood, Hoover and on Hwy 280 today and bought things at each of them. Theyre great as usual, the only thing is that they dont give senior citizen discount, otherwise, theyre great!

Great place to find super deals, you sometimes have to hunt but that is the best part.

The price match policy is a lie. They won’t even match another bargain hunts price. On the wall it stated that they will match ANY stores published price. I even had a receipt for proof of the lower price. I guess don’t teust what they say .

Its always good fun looking for bargains here. I have definitely got a lot of bargains, and a few steals!

I am so sad that this store is the way that it is today! Last year this was my favorite bargain hunt and today it was filled with a bunch of overpriced paper towels and cereal about to expire!! No lawn furniture, no iPhone cases, no DVD players, no treadmills, NOTHING that you would go here to find a deal on! Who cares to save .50 cents on a roll of paper towels!! And to make matters worse, there is no more discounts for FINDING something with an old date on it. THEY now determine the retail. & what their discount price is. I was beyond upset I drove 30 minutes for some paper towels.

Its a store full of new and opened products or returns. Theres nothing wrong with them they test everything and you can find a lot of great prices on new stuff

Disappointed. I have wandered through the store twice and found nothing but junk and overpriced discontinued stuff. My daughter has bragged on this place for the clothes finds and that is the only positive thing I can say.

This place is unreal. People, please take a stroll through your local Target and check prices for the brands this place sells (even the net) like Threshold, Mossimo, etc. They are taking discount goods and marking them even higher than original retail instore. I dont think thats much of a bargain. Buyer beware!

When they say Bargain Hunt, you really have to hunt. Some of their prices are outrageous. Thats why I say if you want a bargain you REAL have to HUNT for it.

I am truly disgusted by the level of customer service and integrity shown in this store. The leadership in this store has shown that they are not only dishonest but they do not value their customers in the slightest.The former store manager Kerry was lazy and didnt want to honor policy but instead lie to my face assuming I didnt know any better. Then refuse to engage me because she was leaving for the day. Salary means your always on the clock if you are still standing in your store in uniform, still representing the brand.This past Saturday I decided to give the store another shot but instead received the worst customer service possible.I had about $400 worth of items in my basket and my partner and I had some items put at the register from the electronics counter. When we went to check out, they had lost the items.The team leader who put them up was outside so I had to wait for her to come back in, when she did she started looking for them. At one point she walks past me and says I cant find them but continues looking. I had seen the 3 team leaders walk into the office so I thought well maybe they are looking at cameras as one had suggested. Still I stood waiting. I asked the associate to go and tell one of them I was still waiting and was told someone would be right with me, still I waited and nothing. Another customer wanted something from the electronics cabinet and neither cashier had the keys, I told the associate King to radio a manager to bring keys, he said none of them had one on. He left the register to go and get them. Still I waited for someone to come and tell me something so that I could stop waiting and check out or that they were sorry couldnt find it and take my number so if they did they could call. 35 mins now of waiting and at this point Im pretty upset.So I went to the office, all three team leaders plus the store manager were having a meeting, on a Saturday leaving no leadership on the sales floor.When they opened the door I asked the girl who lost the items if they were still looking or had given up because no one had spoken to me and that I had been waiting for 35 mins. I was very upset and no apologies were made, no communication was attempted, I was told I needed to get out. I left, obviously very angry and upset and without purchasing anything.Never in my life have I been treated so poorly and with total lack of care. Your customers are what makes your business.Having a leadership meeting on a Saturday and no one on the floor is a clear indicator of the poor level of leadership in the store and lack of service to your customers.The last time there was an issue not a single person reached out to me, so clearly the voice of your customer is not one you truly value. I enjoy bargain hunt, but Brook highland consistently sets a standard of we dont care about our customers.
