I’m speechless, anxious and dissatisfied with my recent appointment. The ladies at the front desk were so very polite and helpful. The techs I worked with today were beyond rude and provided the worse customer service. The tech was rude and passive aggressive. At the end of my visit an associate by the name of Dan, dismissed my concerns and attempted to humiliate me in the lobby. He waved his hand near my face and told me to “get out of here!”I’ve never had an experience that made me feel so unwanted and discriminated against.

New customer here. I called first to schedule appointment and was told they didn’t have anything available and to go on website or call another location. Went to website and low and behold 4 available appointments. Walked in 30 minutes early(already filled out forms online). No guidance as to where to go. There were 3 employees and no one looked up or spoke to me. I then walked over to a young lady at the desk and she looked up and just said are you here for an appointment. Looked me up and told me to have a seat. Well in walks an elderly couple and guess what. Gentlemen employee says high how are you today? Do you all have an appointment? Still nothing to me. I have been sitting for 21 minutes now and nothing. This will be my first and last visit.

I was in from out of town and having contact issues. I have a very strong prescription, eye problems, and no back up lenses. I was in a predicament. They went above and beyond to help me. They were so kind, helpful, and professional.

Service was quick and my Dr. was awesome. Unfortunately, I had a terrible end to my experience and I felt the tech who was in charge of helping me pick frames was trying to upsell me on absolutely everything. I have never had this happen at any doctors office ever and was very annoyed by the end having to tell him no on all the additions he was trying to make me add to my glasses. I told him multiple times I simply just wanted my pair of glasses for when I need them(not everyday use) so I did not need anything special. If I did, I would inquire.

Me and my son visited here for the first time. It was the best experience ever! The Dr. got my prescription right the very first time. I have a multi-vision in one eye, which my past Dr. has not been able to get right on the prescription. Thank you so much I can see again! I will recommend you to all my friends!

My wife and I went in for eye glasses and was told it might take a little while to get them because of everything going on Covid I said ok just let me know when they get in. Well we waited for a while and my wife got a call saying her glasses were in so we drove up there and they told me ohh your glasses are in as well. I took them and drove down the road and put them on and I could not see anything out of them. They had put progressive glasses when I always have had single proscription. I had to make an app and come back in to give them back to the employee. So I waited about 2 months and ended up going to another eye glass store and did the exam and got my glasses back with still no word from Myeye Dr. So I started calling them so I could cancel my glasses. I called 3 times and we told they will call me right back. I never heard from them. I even called the 1-800 number twice and never got a call back. I finally called and was placed on hold today so I could get a manager. He told me my glasses had been here for a couple of months. I told him just cancel them as nobody ever called me back. This will be the last time I go here. They use to be really good when it was Schaeffer eye center.

I think the staff is polite and the doctor does a fantastic job with my 3 yr old. The down side is they are 3x’s as expensive for the exact same frames anywhere else. A contact fitting isn’t included in your eye exam for glasses and contacts” That’s a separate $70+ charge.

I could not have been more pleased with my recent visit. Dr. Begun conducted my exam, and I have to say that he is hands down the best optometrist I have seen. He took the time to explain the significance of each diagnostic test and provided a thorough explanation of my results. The breadth and depth of Dr. Beguns knowledge is both impressive and reassuring. I presented with an eye problem that I have had for weeks and left his office feeling satisfied that I have an accurate diagnosis that I understand. Additionally, he corrected a problem with my lens rx that was causing undue eye strain.Mike assisted me in selecting a new pair of glasses. This guy is a true professional. He clearly understands all of the technical aspects and factors involved in determining which pair will be both comfortable and stylish. This is not the typical scenario of trying on endless pairs until defaulting to whatever sucked the least. Mike guided me to several options that were tailored to be most compatible with my facial features and lens requirements. I walked away with the best pair of glasses that I have ever tried on.

I went to Schaefer eye center I havean infectionI was prescribed a eye drop that was very expensive called several times started calling@ 9 am my final call was @ 4PM was told. that all the drops were expensive my complaintIs no one called me back.i want go there again.!!!

Called about 6 months ago to order contacts. OK I get it you cant keep everything in stock for everybody. So I ordered from an online source. Decided to try and do businees MyeyeDr again when I ran out. Called back to see if MyeyeDr ad any samples that I could use while I placeed an order with them. Learned that you dont provide samples unless someone is willing to purchase a one year supply. Guess I will also be taking my annual exams and eyeglass purchase elsewhere as well.

A very enjoyable experience the moment we walked in. I made a last minute appointment, didnt wait but about 15 min to see an associate to begin the process, was greeted several times by associates, told us thanks for coming, and our helpers, Blake, Mike and Dr. A was all super, patient and extremely helpful. I actually traveled an hour to this place of business and it will now be my place of choice when I need glasses or contacts... highly recommend them... I didnt catch the receptionist names, but they are super kind as well.

I am so over this place! I have had to have my appointments rescheduled multiple times because my doctor is always going to be out of town! The clinicians always smell like cigarette smoke and most of them are rude. The people who sell me my glasses always lie about how long it will take to get them back and good luck getting them to call you back when you leave a message! The only good thing is that the ladies I talk to on the phone when I call and make appointments are always pleasant and nice. I’ve spoken to a lady named Courtney and Elvira (?) and they were very nice. They try and help the best that they can but I am going to have to go somewhere else because the doctors here don’t appreciate patients.

Went today for my first appointment. Go back again tomorrow, but for the first visit today, Dr. Schaeffer & Dr. King are wonderful! Very nice. Super helpful. Explained everything that was going on. Answered all questions I had. These two doctors are great at what they do! Glad I didnt go with what other reviews said. Bc they were great! I would definitely recommend this place! Hopefully tomorrow and all following visits will be the same! Overall. Great experience!

Awful. I was harassed repeatedly about not having an unnecessary (for my eyes) test done. After trying and disliking a new type of contact, I was told that they werent sure they would prescribe my previous brand because they always just give BRAND X to people who wear them long term. We dont ever offer the other kind. Of course. The new ones cost roughly $200 per year more than the old ones which is better for them, not me.The second doctor I saw was unfriendly, the staff inhospitable, the atmosphere cold, and the prices outrageous.

Horrible! If I could give zero stars I would!!! Drove 1 hour to get here for them to say they can’t do his apt without his glasses he wears now. I explained they are broken lenses shattered I mean he is a kid! So I’m not putting on something that could harm him! They informed me that they can’t do an eye apt because of this! I guess nobody comes here needing glasses I guess they just come here to get scripts filled! Bunch of idiots taking my son to children’s and give them my money

Needed new glasses with my existing prescription plus replacement of lenses in a very old pair of glasses. Staff was extremely helpful and experienced. I bought a new pair of glasses and had lenses from my old prescription put in the new glasses and also in my old glasses. They filled my prescription precisely. However, on my next visit to my ophthalmologist, she changed my prescription. With a smile, staff at Schaeffer replaced both of the very expensive lenses in my glasses - WITHOUT CHARGE. Cant say enough about their customer care.

I have been giving these people my money for a long time and overtime the service has gotten even worse, NO ONE except maybe one person knows whats going on, orders not placed when they are supposed to be, no call backs when they are supposed to, doctors cant help with simple requests, after I pick up my contacts, im never coming back

It took 2 weeks for someone to email me my prescription even though I had signed the HIPPA waiver. Tried to order contacts and was told someone would have to call me back (Hoover location). Called back 3 times and was on a constant loop of automated messages, just to be told that no one could take my call. Called another location (Highland) and was told there was nothing they could do to help and that “when you do reach them, make sure you complain to them!” I’m trying to give this company money and I can’t get anyone on the phone.

Had a very miserable experience with a receptionist she had dirty blonde hair cant remember her name but I am sure that everyone that works there knows who she is. She was extremely rude to my wife and very abrasive and full of herself. She sucks and so now does Schaeffer!

To start Im a long-time patient over 11 years. I wasnt impressed with the visit before this and now its confirmed and Im not impressed at all with this last visit. I set an appointment for Pacific doctor that only day of the week that he would be there, never was informed that I was not going to see him and another doctor walked in the room, Im thinking maybe the other doctor will show but never did. Besides the feeling of just being repetitive eye exam and other things in my exam. the prices that I was told by the kid that was helping me with all the little extra photos and vision scannings and everything else prices of these non covered by insurance cost, I asked I confirm prices but at the end nothing was added up with a breakdown and nobody give me a break down in the explanation of my Chargers just a run around on price and its just what your total is today, I got a itemized sheet that I was able to come in weeks later and get when I picked up my lenses. Also As I was being checked out I saw my doctor that I made an appointment for was there, when I told the person who checked me out that the doctor was who I made an appointment for pacifically today was working, this guy told me that hes a slower doctor and thats just what they do at Schaefer, he completely discredited the doctor that I trusted Who provided me with the care and concern that I was looking for. Im just done for now.

The doctor was friendly, but after the first trip, they wanted my fiance to come back for a second time to double check their work before handing over his prescription. He works nights, so going in the first time was hard enough. We both wear glasses and Ive never seen this before.
