After having a bad experience last year I decided to give them another chance. Not only did they give me the pair ordered last year but my new glasses were ready in only 4 days. Much better service now.
First off I would like to give this place ZERO stars! When I first went to Eye Village after discovering that my prescription was made wrong, I returned to let them know that something was wrong with my eyeglasses (I could not see out of them). My glasses were tested and they looked and said that the prescription was made correctly, “the glasses are new, new to your eyes give it some time.” After about a week, I returned yet again stating that something just wasn’t right with these glasses, my glasses were looked at by the Doctor there (Dr. King, I believe her name is) only to be told that there’s nothing wrong with the prescription. I wasn’t happy (AND IS NOT HAPPY) with the results of having to keep glasses AND have paid for glasses that I am UNABLE to wear because I cannot see out of them! To no fault of my own, these glasses ARE the WRONG prescription. I took these glasses to another eye doctor Dr. Benigno, O.D. Of Eye Associates of The South (Biloxi) she tested these glasses AND compared them to the glasses that I was (and have been) wearing, she said indeed these glasses are the wrong prescription (I KNEW that they were in the first place) these are MY eyes and I knew that something just wasn’t right! I’m very disappointed that Rodney, (manager at Eye Village) refuses to do anything about this matter (at least refund my money) or at least make new prescription to where I CAN see out the glasses that I got from Eye Village. He “moved the lenses up some” that does not fix the problem of not being able to SEE out my glasses, he claimed the problem was that I cannot see because my eyes were “over compensating” to see out of those glasses, but no refund. I’m sickened and disappointed that I’m just stuck with glasses that I cannot use and I’m out of $194.55. The doctors and manager at Eye Village should have listened to me and went above and beyond to either fix my glasses or give em a full refund! (I was told by Rodney) that he could not give me a refund because my insurance had done their part already.......FIRST POST 2019☝🏼SECOND POST👇🏼 3/21 in response to the “owner”.......(I received email) stating......”My staff says you had a better experience....”Responding to “owner” whoever is responding to my original review.. I have NOT returned since to eye village and NEVER will (more than a year ago).. therefore I did NOT “have a better experience” as stated below by the “owner” or whoever is responding to my review.. Eye Village gets zero stars👎🏼👎🏼
Overall it was a very good experience. The The only issue was that when I picked up my glasses they didnt really do the fitting to make sure that they were comfortable and now Im going to have to go back and have them adjusted because the glasses are awesome except they hurt to wear.
Went in with some broken glasses and Amy fixed them for me no charge thats the way to win a new customer
