This was my first time stepping into Rail Line Coffee, and it was exceptional. First, and most importantly, the driving mission is inspiring and hope-filled. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered a cold brew, and it was delicious! The entire coffee shop was clean, well laid out, and has such a relaxed vibe. I highly encourage you to stop in!

This is my first stop at Rail Line; I ordered the Mocha as it is my favorite coffee/milk drink. I was caught off guard when they asked if I would like white or dark chocolate! First time being asked my chocolate preference. This drink is phenomenal! I am enjoying it as I write this in their lobby and I couldnt be happier! Rail Line is a relatively new coffeehouse with an amazing mission. They want to provide skills training for disadvantaged youth and adults as well as kick off the revitalization of the South Side. If you havent been down here, make the trip. The staff is very friendly, wanting to chat and just hang out with us customers when they have down time and tasks are complete. They are using a LA Marzocco machine to pull shot of Revel Roasters coffee. Its not just a good spot for coffee, they are trying to accomplish something bigger than themselves; and that is worth celebrating.

Stopped here on a whim on my way out of town from my hotel and I am so glad I did. This place is great for a quick coffee drink. We got the seasonal flavor (brown sugar in May/June) lattes. The drink had great flavor and was very smooth. I am sure the food is great as well.

What a beautiful facelift on this real estate! Nicely done. Beautiful storefront. Super clean. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Not much more you could ask for! Oh, and the coffee is fantastic. 🤓

I ordered the 12oz Americano hot, using Revel beans. I went with the wife and we both enjoyed our time just sitting and watching the neighborhood while sipping on our drinks. It’s a great local coffee with friendly welcoming staff and I love what they are doing for the South Side.

Great new spot in town, plenty of space indoors and outdoors and the coffee to fuel a rail line. Open early enough to supply the medical community too!

According to my kid, this is the best coffee in town. I especially liked the service. They only had one sugar-free flavoring to offer which was a little disappointing. That being said, I like the idea behind their mission and therefore willing to support this establishment.

Amazing shop for sure! Flavorful and good size baked goods and breakfast burritos. The coffee is simple and doesnt need all the glitz and glam to be tasty. Will be coming back for sure.

Coffee is great! Atmosphere is awesome! Food is over priced but very well executed. The drive thru is very narrow, inconveniently so, but going inside and seeing what theyve done with the place is a nice trade off if you have the time. 28 dollars for two Americanos and two breakfast burritos is just a little too steep to become a regular coffee spot, in my opinion. I can understand to a point though, because theyve put a ton of work into the place. Hopefully they do well for themselves!

I was excited to check out the conversion of the old garage and found that the coffee is sooo good! The staff are really great. Prices are reasonable and there is a fun atmosphere. The drive through is very convenient as well.

This is going to be my go-to place for coffee in the future. Their coffee and espressos are not just at least as good as anyone elses in town, I know Im supporting a worthwhile cause when I patronize them.

Bad experience first time going. They charged us for flavor and never put it in the drinks. They added extra express shots to the point it was way to strong to anyone. I got a headache. I went back to the barista and tried to explain to her that there was no flavor in either of the drinks and it was to strong. She did not listen to a word I was saying. I wont be back! Highly disappointed on the service and drinks. I was hoping it was going be something great and my hopes got let down.
