The thing I respect the most about city brew is the consistency of the product they make. Hot, or cold the drink quality is consistently good and tasty. I got a nice earl grey tea, my kid got a hot coco and my co worker got an iced latte. All of us were super happy.

When I went through to get my food and drink the guy working window had his knuckle cut and bleeding as he was hand out the food. I asked for a refund and to speak with a manager. At first he wanted to give me a accuse about the refund and then gave it to me. When I ask to speak to a manager he wouldnt let me, So I called and the girl said they didnt have one. I will never be back.

After trying to choke down some hotel coffee we stumbled across this City Brew. Fast and super friendly service, everyone was all smiles. The atmosphere was very welcoming, everything was really clean and neat and the coffee was nice and hot and delicious. If we lived in Billings, we would totally visit more often. Cant wait to make a stop again!!!

Broke my French press on a cold Saturday morning with pouring rain/ snow. The line was long and they were slammed. Surprised how quickly things moved and I wish I had more cash to tip them more😭The girl at the window (blonde with braids and a mask THANK YOU!) was half soaked from working out the window and her hands were bright red from how cold and wet it was outside. Didn’t skip a beat with my order, payment, and my coffee. Thank you city brew crew!!! They all deserve a bonus especially her! Sorry I suck at remembering names(Drive through Saturday March 20th at 11:30)

I’ve been to this location multiple times & each time I’ve witnessed, as well as experienced, the most unpleasant woman. I’m pretty sure she’s the manager on top of it. She’s curt & talks to people like they’re stupid, she’s the last person that should be in this position. Won’t be coming to city brew anymore.

Okay. I have done a review for City Brew before for other locations, but this is the shop closest to my house. Early morning crew are upbeat and pleasant to deal with at 6am. However, I have discovered one or two things that have made me drop a star, but keep in mind, the drop is due to my preference in how I expect my coffee to be made. They are not pulling shots. If you are a coffee need, you know what I am saying. For those who are not as geeky over coffee, let me explain. City Brew uses fully automatic espresso machines. They grind the coffee, press into a puck and extract the coffee. There is no skill involved. This is where my problem is. Sure, it is awesome to get the same drink, made the same way everytime. But, I would rather have a barista that has the knowledge, passion and dedication to their craft. Someone who can dial in the proper grind for espresso, knows what ratio of coffee to water to use for a perfect espresso shot and knows how to adjust their technique depending on the roast level of the coffee being used (yes, espresso can be made from any roast, it does not have to be an insane dark roast). Again, this is me and my nerdy preference. Go to City Brew! You will not be disappointed!

Whenever we are in the area, we stop in City Brew for our favorite mocha frappe. Baristas are always friendly and we rarely have to wait more than a couple of minutes for our drinks. Prices are higher than I like, but comparable to other local coffee shops. They have a nice variety of drinks and snacks.

Hey City Brew corporate, if your supplier discontinues a product, in this case coconut milk, give your stores the ability to remove it from the menu even if only temporary. The Asst Mgr said that they weren’t allowed to do anything even though it was discontinued indefinitely. As a person on a special diet due to allergies, the coconut milk was my only option. I choose establishments based on an allergy-friendly menu. So it is very frustrating that your corporate policy refuses to allow stores to keep the menu updated, a bit deceptive really. I bumped it up to 3 stars because the barista was really empathetic and worked to find me alternatives. I ended up with a black coffee for lack of anything else. Props to her for trying!

Kaylee facilitated our order and was absolutely awesome. Worked quickly, efficiently, and gave us an outstanding recommendation to take our dogs for the park. Upon seeing our dogs she offered our dogs a pupaccino which I think is astoundingly cool.The coffee is a little lack luster and its not anyones fault except corporate. The employees were pulling good shots, but the company needs assistance in finding better a better bean product. But 5 stars for the bomb barista chicks ballin hard! Thank yall :)

Nice quiet place to enjoy a great drink!

Ive been trying to give this location a chance, but it has failed me and my friends/coworkers. I am embarrassed I sent my friends and family here for their coffee needs. If I could give 0 stars, I would. My orders are always wrong, my hot coffees are cold 90% of the time, and my food gets burnt or forgotten. I have specific food allergies and they are heavily neglected, even after asking multiple times to modify. On top of it, customer service is garbage. Do not recommend!!

This morning when my friend and I went through their drive through, the lady at the menu was incredibly rude and impatient while trying to make our order. Katie was super nice at the window, but the second one behind her was really rude, poor customer service, 10/10 pass this place.

Coffee was good, but the service was shockingly horrible! The person helping us at the counter was rude and impatient even though there weren’t any customers behind us. The person who gave us our coffees was equally rude. We also overheard a worker reprimanding another customer for not coming to get their coffee quick enough. What happened to customer service??? We were so disgusted!!! I’ve always had great service at City Brew, but the way customers were treated at this location seriously disappointed me today!!!

This city brew is the quietest one I have ever been in. Not necessarily the right atmosphere for studying, at least for me, but perfect for meeting friends to chat and drink some coffee.

Just a pleasant and cozy little corner in such a busy little.

This is the third time that my tea was messed up in as many days. All I wanted and ask for is a wildberry green tea. With no cream or sugar. The first time there was both cream and sugar which is not good because Im allergic to dairy. The second time was iced for some unkown reason. This time I asked to have it iced and they put in flavored syrup. I honestly dont understand why its so hard to just give me plain tea with no sweatner or cream. I loved city brew everywhere else in montana but since moving to Billings its wrong more times than not.

Went to get a charger and the energy drink was left out. Has also happened on mulitple occassions where they forget my espresso shots in my iced lattes. Coffees never taste good.

Had to actually down grade from my last review due to current events. So this coffee chain has like every other place these days a rewards program and card. I figured what the heck and got the card to see what it was all about. Everything seemed fine for a while and got some perks since I drink a lot of coffee such as free drinks. Well there was a spell where I was loading the perks card with a debit card and made sure to tell the girl to load the perks card and use it, not only does she load it but instead uses my debit card to pay. Next time I went here I used my perks card and sure the money was taken off but for some reason for two whole months I had no activity on the card even though I just used it several times! Another time they charged my card twice because they said there wasnt enough funds on the card, no kidding ng you just double charged it! I dont try to be mean but I am seriously questioning the intelligence of the staff and if the perks card is even worth the time, I have yet to receive any sort of free drink or food item in the past two months so get this at your own risk.

Shout out to Reagan!!! (hope I didnt chop her name up) who gave me some of the best hospitality I have ever been given in a coffee shop! She remembered my name the first day I went there, super easy to talk to and is an awesome person in general... I love this place. The environment is light and all of the employees are polite.Id suggest it to any college student. Quiet during the week and peaceful enough to focus on your work. Thank you again!

They constantly get orders wrong and hand you coffee cups with coffee all over the outside. Their excuse is they’re busy. Busy shouldn’t constitute poor customer service.

City Brew is my favorite coffee in town. All the other options are either too sweet or too pricey, City Brew is just right. I cant say a ton about ambiance or their food because all I focus on is the coffee. Ive never had burnt coffee from any of the City Brews. And while Im partial to the one on Grand as currently being the best, they are all good.

Like to leave door open for 10 minutes while waiting for inventory when its 5 degrees out. People putting coats on. 6 girls behind the counter couldnt figure out how to open the door for delivery guy. Timeto go warm my car up.

Twice my drinks have tasted horrible from this location. I called the first time and the manager said that I would receive a free drink when I come through next time but I always forget to ask for it so that’s on me but this time I don’t want to call I’d rather leave a review for others to see. The girl working today when I went is always rude... also I have had an issue in the past were I loaded $20 on a gift card and when I went to use it The $20 was not loaded on the card properly. To fix this I had to get a hold of corporate and it was not even fixed because they needed a receipt and I threw away the receipt so I basically wasted $20. Ironically enough the person that incorrectly loaded my card is employee of the month?!? Needless to say I’m about done going to this location even though it’s a huge inconvenience since this is the location right next to my house.

City Brew is always a nice treat when I come to Montana. This location in particular is outstanding. If youre new to town or passing through skip Starbucks and give these guys a try-- there is always another Starbucks down the road. City Brew sells K-cups, ground coffee and coffee beans as well. Their expresso drinks are just outstanding. This location is very clean and very friendly.

When a customer asked for a Chilled Americano. The staff is incompetent even after explanation of Chilled* Ice brew tends to hold on to more acidity, with a flavor that can be a bit bitter, depending on the bean that is used. Strength: Cold brew coffee is stronger and more concentrated, whereas iced coffee is the same strength as hot brew coffee, just served at a different temperature.*Once the beverage was made customer received an Iced Americano. Following up customers wife requested for the correct beverage. Employee refused to correct the drink as it was already made. Where as it stands incorrectly made so. I, the customer had to take my beverage back to get the correct order. Yet to receive another iced Americano.Arrogant staff even when politely explained into detail of requested order.

To my embarrassment I realized I left my wallet at home after ordering my food and pulling up to the drive through window to pay for it. The lady was very understanding and to my astonishment said my sandwich and drink were on them today. I plan on paying for it the next time I go back but really appreciated it.

Asking for a reciept is a BIG inconvience apparently for staff. Purchased gift cards and usually have recieved seperate reciepts with a a paper pouch to place gift cards in. The poor new girl asked another staff member and she slowly came to the window with the most inconvienced look on her face like I was a piece of garbage. Too bad you pay for a service and a simple question ruins your entire experience. Never will go to Shiloh shop again or get gift cards....unless you like to have an entitled little girl work hard at not doing her job!
