First time stepping into Legacy Coffee Roasters. The entire space has such a comfortable and inviting vibe. Plus there is so much space to sit by yourself or with a group of people. The guy working was very personable and excited to serve. I ordered an Americano and it was on point. I highly recommend you checking out Legacy Coffee Roasters!!

Sweet local coffee roaster in downtown Billing in historic old building. Owner is all over it….delivering wonderful coffee & awesome service! The vibe here is fantastic.

I love this place. They have amazing coffee (strong and tasty) great matcha (unsweetened, with oatmilk or almond options) and the best cherry croissant I have ever had in all my days. Brought my friend one, and she had it a day later and it was still good. Also, the people there are amazing. Loved everything about this place.

My wife has been wanting to bring me here for quite a while. Thanks to lockdown, I turned into a coffee nerd. If you ever wondered what a Third Wave Coffeehouse looks like, Legacy Coffee Roasters is the definition. Had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, Jeff, while he made our drinks. I prefer espresso drinks that showcase the coffee. Lattes are tasty, but when I want to relax with a coffee drink, they are not my jam. Enter the Cortado! This was my first, but essentially its is a small espresso/milk drink that truly lets you taste the coffee. It was my espresso Ah Ha moment! Now I know what I want when I relax with coffee. The decor is stylish but not cluttered; the sport bike on the platform is pretty cool. The barista setup is very sleek and functional. I have found my new favorite relaxation spot. Thanks, Legacy!

Road tripping Seattle to Kansas City and this was the perfect 2pm coffee stop. Jeff the owner was the barista and he poured a beautiful latte and it tasted even better. Looked like a good place to hang out too. Awesome little shop, I hope to be back someday.

Superb support. Staff are always polite and welcoming. Our specials in winter are amazing. Love being able to tell them what I want and then somehow they impress me. Superb latte art. Not completely bombarded with options. Simple, and gorgeous!

Really good I had a breakfast burrito and an Americano. The coffee was great and the people are always super friendly and smiling. There is a nice patio outside that is shaded and perfect for a relaxing morning!

I asked for something a little different and a perfect blend of vanilla and lavender was crafted into a deliciously balanced latte. The service is top notch, pride in their product is evident and it’s an awesome space whether you’re ordering to go, meeting friends, or working.

Awesome place to get an awesome cup of coffee.. stopped in this morning for the first time and will be back again within the next day or 2. Young guy working was extremely polite and courteous, 3 of the 4 people that came in didn’t even have to order because he already knew what they drank! Staff and location were great and the coffee tasted and was presented very well. Thank you!

Amazing coffee, they roast there own beans. We were traveling through town and accidentally stumbled upon this great coffee shop. Coffee is clean, not labeled organic because of the hassle to the farmers that grow the beans. Friendly service, very clean, good ambiance. Definitely would recommend, signed 2 old coffee snobs.

Huge space with warehouse height ceilings, consistent modern Billings-urban design throughout and shares bathrooms via an open breezeway with an brewery. I’ll visit every time I’m in Billings.

We were looking for a place to just sit on a couch and relax with a drink. Peeked through the window and saw comfy couches, best of all they were actually open on a Saturday evening, hard to come by in Billings downtown. Forest the barista was extremely pleasant and nice, helped us decide what to drink and made the best hot chocolate and lavender chai. Seating was quiet and comfortable, it was a very pleasant and quiet experience for a couple of tired folks. We will make this a regular stop.

A creative atmosphere and enjoyable surroundings. Coffee and espresso are top notch. MoAv has a full service coffee bar with some food also. Staff is friendly and helpful. Quality time was spent designing this place for an experience that builds a desire to return time and again.

Huge fan of MoAV. Really great ambiance, if you havent visited you should. Im a tea drinker and with most coffee shops tea is an afterthought, But they have a good selection of excellent teas that keeps me stopping in pretty much every day.Staff is great as well, very knowledgeable and friendly.

A relaxing coffee shop that is community minded. I got the tea so I cant speak to the quality of coffee but I can talk about the ambience. An open floor plan with plenty of space and abundant outlets for working on laptops. Moav has a little stage and a unique feel. Tea was pricey otherwise very nice.

Excellent coffee, great atmosphere. Open late most days which makes it a great spot to work or study. Highly recommend for their coffee and small bites. Just steps away from the Double Tree Hotel.

The coffee was quite good and the space is fabulous! As an art and architectural historian, I am particularly interested in checking out new businesses located in old buildings in the cities I visit--how the buildings are renovated and repurposed. This is a shining example--in the downtown Billings warehouse area--of preserving old architecture and giving it a cool, new function!

The place itself is amazing I love the coffee but it always seems like the morning staff is unwilling or unable to help. I try to call and order a coffee before work and they just let it ring and ring and ring. This morning alone I called 10 times. Even when I do make it a priority to go into work early enough to stop by and get a coffee it seems they like to move at their own slow pace. This isn’t my experience every time but it’s obviously happened enough to where I wanna write about it.

They were out of drip coffee, told me they couldnt take my gift card because their wifi was down. On top of all that the staff wasnt wearing a mask which is mandated by the state. Probably the worst coffee shop in town.

The coffee was great - the breakfast burrito was a complete waste of money. The location and the overall atmosphere in the shop is great. We will definitely be back if we are in Billings again - we just wont order any food - just coffee.

It has community, culture, and more than just a grab and go spot.Having grown up in coffee shops in SF and traveled the globe, this is the only spot in Billings that captures the true coffee shop feel and experience.

This is a great place, very laid back and comfortable and the atmosphere is fantastic. The staff is very attentive and willing to help or answer a question. The coffee is good and well made. I will definitely be making this a normal haunt.

Great coffee, awesome patio, breakfast burrito was stellar and I spent the good majority of the day there. Wish the outdoor seats were more comfortable and there was electrical plug ins outside. Love this place. Will return.

Best coffee and staff in Billings

One of the coolest spaces in the coffee shop world in Billings! They roast their own beans and the aroma can be smelled down the street. Quality coffee! It shows through their passion and knowledge behind the bar and the effort that’s put into every drink.

Their lattes are some of the best Ive had in a while! I got the vanilla latte with extra espresso. It was so smooth. They also make their vanilla in house. The regular drip coffee was also high quality. The atmosphere and service was great. This would be my go to coffee place if I lived here.

Excellent customer service, nice selection of drinks, and great to have a free refill on the drip coffee. I also like the beer happy hour in the late afternoon/early evening. WiFi connection is strong and there are excellent tables for working on a laptop. The lounge chairs are great too. Can be a little loud if groups are meeting during the day but otherwise good volume, nice that music isn’t blaring. Really good location downtown overall.

The atmosphere is very chill, the barista from South Africa really knows his business. This is no Starbucks, they make strong, flavorful, coffee drinks. If you want it sweet, you have to tell them that. But that isnt a bad thing.

This has become my regular hangout, especially when I need a break from my home office. Great drinks and the breakfast burrito and Cuban sandwich are excellent! Friendly, casual service. Usually easy to find a free parking spot on the same block or across the street.

Out of Towner. I was met with friendly smiles. Enjoyed my latte in a beautiful room. I was captivated by the lighting and open seating areas. Basic menu but had what I wanted.

Beautiful historic brick and modern geometric design elements provide the backdrop for the coffee here. It is not your typical coffee shop and you can tell from the moment you walk in. The coffee is great but a little more expensive than your run of the mill coffee shops. It would be a five star place if they did more with the space. Im waiting to walk in on some amazing guitarist playing in their perfect stage area.

This is a beautiful shop incorporating the charm of the old with the comfort of the modern. The barista was friendly and informative when asked about local offerings.I enjoyed a flavorful Americano and thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience.

Best local coffee house in Billings! Great atmosphere, great coffee, and fresh local bakery items - love the pane chocolate! Perfect comfortable environment for creative work and meetings. Have been here multiple times and will keep coming back. You should pop in and check out the vintage motorcycles if you get a chance. Highly recommended.

Superb craft coffee. Superb! Then stop two doors down at the Russian woman’s bakery and have on out-of-this-world baked treats.

This coffee shop has the most amazing coffee! We stopped by for a quick coffee and stayed for a little since we just love the awesome atmosphere! I purchased a bag of coffee to take with and brewed some amazing pour over with it. Highly recommended!!

I was on a road trip and stopped in Missoula for gas. After that I Googled coffee near me and went to MoAV Coffee. Best coffee in 10 days in the road! Plus the place is really inviting. When the black brewed/drip coffee is this good, you know the espresso drinks are great. Smart and gracious staff. You will not be disappointed.

Cool space, comfortable seating and lots of tables for working. Coffee is roasted in house, youll see the roaster walking in. Tried a pour over Tanzania, had better, on the over extracted side. But lots of potential so I will be back again to try another.

Exceptional coffee, I had a vanilla latte, a marble cold brew and a sweet cream cold brew (long day). The are not fast - which they should warn you about - so set your expectations early the morning. Could take 15 minutes for your coffee. Burrito and grilled cheese were ok. The atmosphere is fantastic, clean bathroom, very fast wifi.

Great coffee but they were out of avocados for avocado toast in a Monday morning and then when I asked for a bagel as a backup they were also out of those. I’m pretty sure I was the first customer that day

Billings has a lovely relaxed downtown area and this place stands out. Visiting from D.C, and this is one of the best coffee shops weve been into anywhere. Great building, staff and atmosphere

Awful service and got my order wrong. I asked for 5 shots of espresso, and got 2 shots, if that. Better off going to Starbucks right down the street. They give you more espresso for a 7 dollar coffee, and at Starbucks, it’s 4.80 for my Order, do yourself a favor and go to Starbucks

On top of the amazing coffee (ask for their in-house roasts), its so clear that this place is Jeffs passion. I love seeing his innovation in shaping what MoAV has become. Its obvious they love what they do and the people they serve there. My favorite here is a traditional cappuccino with vanilla.This is a great spot for studying, groups, coffee dates, cool porch hangs in the summer, and for event hosting. Expect to hear cool music and get to know cool people.IMPORTANT: they served beer/wine in the past, but they have indefinitely discontinued serving it. They have also discontinued kombucha as of Jan. 2019.

The guest roaster right now is Onyx from Arkansas. We tried a cappuccino and an undertow with honey and coconut milk; both drinks were solid. The chocolate croissant was still warm from the oven. The space is vast, with couches, tables, ample plugs, and a big outdoor deck. Checkout their calendar for performances / events.

This 12 ounce honey cinnamon latte just cleared my skin, fixed the economy, and saved a puppy from a well. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to feel good about themselves again.

Excellent quality coffee! Their pourover tastes like coffee should. Their beans are roasted to perfection, not burnt at all, and the flavor comes out perfectly. Their tea is alright, but the atmosphere and coffee-quality is great!
