Me and my three friends stopped by Ebon briefly on our road trip, and weβre all very impressed. Erin served us and was so kind and friendly and genuinely invested in serving us. The drinks were 10/10, and they have several coffee and non-coffee options. The milk was steamed perfectly. I ordered the rose lemonade which was delicious π. Definitely would recommend Ebony coffee to anyone local or traveling.
Ebon has the best cookies in town! Its probably been two years since Ive been to Wise Wonders Childrens Museum and my husband and I were wondering on the way downtown of they would still have coffee and cookies. They do!! So soft and delicious. And great, friendly service.
The staff was extraordinary! Great recommendations, I got the lavender flavor and it was hands down the best lavender coffee Iβve had! I highly recommend.
Will hooked me up with a suggestion and I absolutely loved it, seems like a very nice coffee shop and has a relaxing vibe.
A charming little place with a really friendly proprietor. I ordered the milk chai, and I am pleased to say it was perfectly made. No steeping over or under, and just the right amount of milk and sugar. I had a waffle too that was massive and delicious. I couldnt finish it but I sincerely regretted it.
Coffee wasnt very well mixed, but probably suits someones bohemian tastes. I liked that my drink wasnt too sweet. The atmosphere, however, was not it. The location next to a childrens play place resulted in being assaulted by an unsettling cocophany of screams and discordant banging on a piano. Not recommended as a quiet work/study location.
Loved the bean selection here, I had an Ethiopian that was deliciously fruity. Will, the barista is a highlight of the shop; he is attentive, kind & a lover of coffee.
Great coffee and friendly staff. Would highly recommend visiting this place, likely the best coffee shop in town!
Cool motif... and the employees were very friendly.
Great staff! Lots of plants which I love and they have great places to sit and enjoy their incredible food and drinks!
The Brecktangle - a breakfast square for un-squares. The affable love child between hangover hash and huevos rancheros, the brecktangle is a tasty puck sure to satiate you. The baristo, mysteriously identified only as βAlexβ was congenial. If you are looking for a coffee shop where you can hang out, escape from war crimes generated in the Great Emu War, or just a place to have a short meeting, Ebon is the place for you. Perfect 5/7.
We were looking for something within walking distance to where we were getting our windshield replaced and stumbled upon Ebon. Iβm so happy we did too because this place was amazing!!! I got a chai and my boyfriend got an oak barrel pumpkin latte - both were absolutely amazing and the presentation fit so well with the clean, calm and comfortable feel of this coffee shop. Great job guys!!! And thanks for keeping us warm on a cold day
Must have been an off day? I expected better for $9 and the great reviews they have but my latte is barely lukewarm and the milk is watered down from steamerwand. The muffin is burnt and so dry its unedible and I cant believe they would put them out to sell. It also took about 15 minutes to get my drink with only 1 person ahead of me.
Absurdly good cup of coffee
Best coffee in town!
Home-brewed Kombucha. The perfectly-balanced pull of espresso.Fine art.Needed: cafΓ© jazz Γ la France
Warm and inviting atmosphere, great customer service - friendly without feeling forced. Nice study and work space upstairs.Delicious coffee, good variety of pour-overs and single origin espresso and cold brew. Fun interesting drinks too, like the espresso tonic and shrubs.Small selection of tasty baked goods.Know that you may have to wait a few minutes, good coffee takes time.
Best cozy coffee scene in Billings. Unique and classic drinks, delicious gluten-free breakfast options, and knowledgeable staff. Connected to a gallery you can browse while you sip.
This is a great little place. Super high quality coffee, best in Billings. We rented out their gallery room after hours, and the management really provided a great experience. The place is small but not cramped. Definitely worth checking out if you dont just want a burned cup by the big guys.
The coffee is amazing and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Love the upstairs area that has a few things for kids to do. Also love that its connected to the art gallery so you can take a peak while sipping on your coffee. The baristas are super nice and fun to talk to!
I really enjoy this coffee shop. You can tell that the owner really likes coffee. They do a drip coffee which takes a little longer. Sit down. Relax. Have a great coffee. Just make sure you have enough time to enjoy yourself.
Indigo Lavender Lemonade! AMAZING!! well worth the wait, you come to this coffee shop to enjoy the experience also! it will be my new stop daily! for sure!!
Got a rather tasty iced vanilla latte on my way out of town. Employee was kind and got our coffees out to us quickly. The inside is lovely and it was clean. If Iβm ever in Billings again I would return.
A lovely little place with a very friendly owner. I ordered the milk chai, and am pleased to report that it was made perfectly. No over or under steeping, and just the right amount of milk and sugar. I also had a waffle, which was enormous, and delicious. I was unable to finish it, but regretted it deeply. Highly recommended.
Ebon is the best coffee shop in Billings hands-down (I know that sounds like an exaggeration with how many different coffee brands there are here, but hear me out).If youβre from out of town, youβll definitely want to check this one out. If youβre from here, this will quickly become a favorite stop.Lenny rotates different coffee roasters, and always has a local Montana roaster available. Because of how often he rotates, he often has a different single origin espresso every week. If espresso drinks arenβt for you, every drip coffee is made to order instead of being in an airpot for hours. Jaxi makes fresh pastries in-house, and most of the selection is gluten-free, vegan, or both. They easily have the best tasting, health conscious treats in town. They do waffles everyday, but they do specialty recipes every Sunday for brunch (always a savory and a sweet option!).There is a connecting interior door to a spacious art gallery where you can check out some local Montana artists while you wait too. This is a perfect quiet spot to sit for a couple hours and work, or sit at the bar and meet some cool local people. If you need a quick stop, there is a 10min parking spot directly in front, and the parking garage across the street is free for the first hour.
Wonderful place to sit and relax. Good coffee and munchies.
The baristas here are very knowledgeable and can make a lot of drinks that arent on the menu.
Awesome little locally owned coffee shop, so much fun every time I visit! Love everything about this place! And theres a cool little art showcase attached to it that has some really cool art.
The owner and staff were incredibly knowledgeable about their coffee, which was perfectly aromatic and lovely. Yummy snacks included vegan carrot cake cookie that was delicious.I really like too that they support coffee collectives. Good ethics, great coffee - perfect combination.
Love this place, cozy, relaxing, the best beans and an ingenious menu. There is a lil loft upstairs, very inviting. One of a kind place you will miss if you ever move away.
A warm and inviting environment with plenty of seating. They are passionate about their coffee. They know how to extract the exact flavors for a perfect cup of coffee. Every time Ive been in there the staff has been absolutely friendly, helpful and kind.
I just love this establishment. Genuinely kind folk, quality coffee, yummy home-baked goods, quiet corners to work, good music, cold brew on nitro, and personality. Its small and simple on the surface, but after a few visits I noticed the changing menu items, beans, art, and even music. I respect the evolving variety at Ebon and an establishment that thinks outside the box. For example, instead of doing the typical Buy 10, get one free, Ebon encourages recycling by offering a free beverage after bringing your own cup/mug a certain amount of times. Their simple menu seems to offer something for everyone. Try the hot chocolate. Its deadly delicious.
Very nice little coffee shop that I never would have found if not for the St. Patricks day parade. The cider they had was amazing.
Ebon is such a great place. The music is awesome, the staff is ultra friendly, and it has the music scene vibes that you get on the west coast. 10/10 would recommend
Fantastic coffee spot. I wandered in a couple of hours after stepping off the Greyhound, having just moved to Billings from Seattle. The two young gentlemen behind the counter were very knowledgable about the origins and distinctive qualities of the beans in their custom, limited-time blends. Bohemian atmosphere. I felt very at home as a transplant from the Pacific Northwest.
This place is fabulous. Definitely would recommend.
Just had a lovely yummy hot chocolate while I was waiting to get my hair done next door! So glad I wandered in there and was treated amazing and got to keep warm with a tasty drink! Thank you!!
I came in for a nitro cold brew and I did not leave disappointed! The coffee was fantastic! Service was friendly. The environment was super relaxed, quiet and cool on a hot summer day. Perfect. #coffee #letsguide
Lenny and his wife work so hard in creating this amazing location I absolutely love this coffee shop the vibe is awesome I love how theres an art gallery right next door that you can walk around as youre drinking your coffee Lenny definitely takes pride in his work coffee is an art to him and Hebrews it to Excellency
Scandinavian styling and a limited menu of excellent artisanal coffee, baked goods and waffles makes Ebon my favorite coffee shop in Billings. Lenny is pretty low key, but you can tell that he takes coffee seriously and loves his job.
This is the best coffee billings has to offer. Each cup is uniquely brewed by friendly baristas who really care. Great coffee, and refreshing atmosphere!
Interesting little coffee shop with an ecentric, yet homey atmosphere. Interesting set-up, where they give you a glass mason jar to bring back next time. Also fantastic waffles on certain days of the week. Also there is a nice little art gallery that is conjoined to the coffee shop, making it a great place to sip coffee and peruse the art selection. Only slightly botherson part of this place is the occasion stuck-up hipster. All in all tho, a great place to sit back and sip strong coffee while enjoying the artwork on display.
Great coffee shop. Third wave all the way. Had an americano that was awesome. They also serve single origin pour overs. If you want a coffee drink prepared right with freshly roasted beans, go here.
This is our Sunday go to. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and great music. Love the coffee!
Best coffee in town. Hands down. The care they put into making their coffee is Second to none. This place is well worth a visit.
Great coffee, sweet humans, and lovely community feel. They take so much care to make everything top notch and the savory waffles they have on Sundays is my favorite food in Billings.
Absolutely delightful. Lenny stayed open late for us on a holiday and made us fantastic coffee. What a gem!
Visiting Billings for work and was really excited when I found the place. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I showed up at 3:15 and the place had closed 75 minutes early. Really a poor way to conduct business, no matter how good your product is.
Great cup of coffee and biscuit this morning. Staff is friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Love the rotating coffee taps. Drop in and try it!
From out of town and needed a place with WiFi. The stupid Hilton Starbucks down the street wouldnt allow access without staying at the hotel. Was able to find Ebon which has great free WiFi, a comfortable atmosphere, and friendly service.Food menu is pretty simple but works will if you just need a small bite to go with your drink.
Nice environment. Downtown convenience.
Small, quiet shop with decent coffee. Friendly staff, reasonably quick service.
If you are looking for Billings best cup of coffee, Ebon is the place. One of the coolest pure coffee shops in Billings, you dont go for a quick in-and-out, coffee-to-go experience; instead, the shop is best enjoyed by taking your time to enjoy the atmosphere, the aesthetics, and a cup of coffee made by Billings Best Barista Lenny Howes. Ebon uses beans from the highly-rated Revel Roasters (based out of Billings, MT) as well as whichever roasting company Howes has chosen that month. Also, once youve got your coffee, you can wander next door to experience and enjoy some of Montanas finest artists at Montana Art Gallery.
Best coffee in billings by a huge margin. Great people too.
Friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. Wonderful coffee and waffles.
Everything here is done in small batches, from scratch. Its all really good. Hot apple cider, and chai with whole milk are my two favorites.
Such friendly staff, good coffee, and an amazing place to do some work! Fast WiFi and no crazy loud music
Best specialty coffee in town! Simple flavors and rotating roasters on black coffee and espresso.
A very cool place with hand crafted espresso beverages. Coffee was a little sharp.
Great place, small and comfortable seating. Coffee is good and the service is exceptional.
Amazing coffee! Lenny and all the staff are amazing.
Great coffee and the friendliest baristas around. The clientele are lively and several waved at the baristas when they arrived, as if coming home. There are charming children eating waffles who belong to the barista that I presume is the owner. The place feels more like a friends home than a serious coffee shop, and that might be a good thing. :-)
Wonderful coffee shop, excellent nitro coffee and baked goods.
Great staff. Great coffee. Top Drink.
Lovley downtown coffee shop. There coffee always tastes amazing.
The best place in town for well curated, carefully brewed craft coffee.
Just what you would want and expect from a true original, heart & soul coffee shop. Mochas are well over the top, made to want more.
Excellent exotic coffee options.
Excellent service, the coffee and pastries were delicious.
Great service and my latte was the best I have had in town.
I have gone to Ebon Coffee Collective since it opened. Its a great space, the drinks are amazing, and its a fun atmosphere as well as a good place look out into downtown.
Always friendly service and very nice ambiance!
Atmosphere was nice the only thing was that when I ordered a chai it was 10% chai tea and 90% steamed milk, I would go back though.
Staff was very polite. Coffee had a lot to be desired.
Good coffee nice quaint place to have a conversation.
Espresso was very well done, there was live music, great atmosphere, kind people. Overall good place.
Excellent coffee, good service, and a nice space inside to hang out.
Smaller menu, but high quality. Vanilla Latte is amazeballs!
Small, yummy food, slow service due to individual brewed drinks (not a negative), and a play space for kids upstairs!
Great esspreso based cofee Gibraltar is my fave
Favorite coffee spot in Billings (maybe all of MT?)
Excellent. The nitro cold brew is amazing
The espresso was expertly pulled and the staff are incredibly friendly.
Great coffee, respectful barista, and comfortable and friendly environment.
Awesome owners, awesome coffee. π
Dark chocolate mocha. enough said.
Delicious food and great tasting coffee selection
Great pour overs.
Some of the best coffee, not just in Billings, but in the region. A premier shop
Quality drinks and even better service
