Great time, excellent staff (friendly, funny and over the top) we had the truffle pizza which was perfect (huge truffle lover); and the salmon fillet + salmon ravioli which was very good; cozy and beautiful atmosphere (great vibes), we left and forgot our boxed pizza, the host ran after us to make sure we took it home! The owner is in the restaurant making sure everyone is taken care of, love love loved my time here. Highly recommend!
An absolutely wonderful find! We are so pleased that we uncovered this gem. The food! The service! It was just a wonderful experience. Thank you Open Table for the recommendation. We are already planning our return. For a real treat, order the Lasagna - Superb!
Beautiful Café, the cuisine wasnt completely authentic but the ambience helped seal the deal. It felt very similar to the eateries youll find all throughout Italy, the only detail that broke the illusion was of course, being in Beverly Hills. Not too pricy, but not inexpensive; the food was good enough for it to be more than justified when the cheque comes. And finally a place that allows reservations, we arrived late but the hostess was very accommodating. We will be back!Covid: Great distancing, felt very comfortable, better then the dozen or so we have been to since distanced dining began.
A girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience here. This is a place Ive driven by for years, and I regret not coming earlier. Cafe Amici has new owners but goes by the same name. The menu is wholesome/healthy Italian, and whats better is its reasonably priced. They have not one, but two cozy patios, and they make their bread in house, which makes for awesome pizzas. This place should be where you take your date, come for a mid-week meal, or meet for a drink! Cant wait to go back. Will be my new staple.
It is not the same. Was one of my favorite places. The service was disappointing.
Feels like your in Italy 🇮🇹. I love love this place and food. Beautiful outdoor area. Spectacular Italian cuisine.
We had dinner there on April 16th (what I understood was their official reopening date). Overall food wasn’t bad although pricey for the venue. Service was a major disappointment, virtually non-existent. It took over 1.5 hours for our main course to be served and only after I complained to the hostess. When I asked our waiter what the problem was he explained that they were having issues filling positions. Nevertheless they proceeded to fill the restaurant with reservations despite the fact they they knew they were well short of help. In my opinion, inexcusable.Unfortunately the lack of service is what stands out when I think about our evening.
This Café oozed European charm. Reminded me so much of the years I lived in Europe. The food was insanely good (try the risotto). We ate in the court yard and everything felt ideal. Luckily Im visiting from out of town, otherwise Id triple my weight indulging in their focacia, wine, & tiramisu. To the owners and staff: Bravisimo!
Not memorable for me but seems popular.
First time in Beverly Hills. Kids were so excited. We waited over 45 minutes for an appetizer and nothing. Finally requested that he just cancel our appetizer and dinner order. Would have thought that the manager would come out to speak to us but that didn’t happen either so we ended up walking out.Everyone around us that arrived AFTER us received their meals before us.Not sure if it’s because we were people of color or if we didn’t look rich enough. Completely perplexed by the horrible experience and complete lack of service.Even called after we left to speak with a Manager and was placed on hold for more than 10 min.We ended up going to 208 Rodeo. They seated us immediately, took our order immediately and the service was impeccable.
This place has been my favorite restaurant for over 20 years. My mom lived around the corner and wed eat here nearly every night when Id come to visit. She always ordered the Pasta Alla Checca and Id get the Pollo Al Limone or the Margherita Pizza. Love their white bean dip and fresh tomatoes with warm flatbread to munch on while waiting for our meal. When Martin was there, hed always made sure to stop by the table to greet us and chat with my mom. When I got married and had kids of my own, walking together to Trattoria Amici was a tradition we continued when visiting Grandma Barbara. The staff is always welcoming and always made us feel special. The food is incredible, lovely ambiance, a real hidden gem. Thank you for the memories, Cafe Amici.
Waited for hour to order and didn’t get food another hour
This place is my favored. I go to many restaurants but to this place I go the most. The crew is very warm and the cooking they offer is so tasty. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.
We stayed at the Hotel Beverly Terrace and ate/drank at Café Amici throughout our stay. Most everyone was friendly and professional every time we went in. On the first day we stopped in for a drink and a snack, and ordered artichoke salad as well as the meat and cheese board. Absolutely delicious and done well. We had the continental breakfast 2x during our stay and it was perfect for our needs. We are early risers, coming from CST to PST, so there was no wait and they were not out of anything. I am in love with the granola, my friend and I think it is made there. We also stumbled in for a nightcap during our stay and were pleasantly surprised at how busy they were. As we sat at the bar and chatted, the bartender said a lot of locals dine there. 👍🏾👍🏾
I had an extraordinary time in this spot. We liked the fantastic vibes and the menu. The waiters were super friendly. I am content we finally managed to try this restaurant.
What a beautiful setting... we loved the food, service and candlelight!
It was an outstanding experience, quality food, beautiful atmosphere, outstanding service (especially from Billy), overall beautiful..
A favorite place on the edge of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. The food is fresh and fantastic! We got every other month or so. Well worth the money. Waitstaff is fantastic!
The meals and service were beyond my expectations. I truly loved the vibes of this spot. Awesome place to take my family out for dinner.
Very friendly staff. Nice to sit outside and watch the world go by. We enjoyed the food, too. I understand it is busy in the evenings, but it was quiet on the lunchtime when we went there. I would definitely recommend as a place for lunch.
Great food, great service and within walking distance of my sisters house!
We always have the best time here and food is great. The host helped us get warm since we had to sit outside and we really appreciated that.
The artichoke salad was the most amazing I have ever had. Thinly sliced artichoke slices marinated for 3 days in lemon juice. Awesome. And the veal chop parmigiana was a worthy companion. Modest decor but friendly service. Definitely worth travelling to.
Charming staff.Pleasant and very comfortable accommodations. Great service. Great place to enjoy a glass of wine. Havent eaten there yet but everything looks impeccably prepared.
Wonderful warm enviorment only surpassed by the great food. The service was attentive and the presentation on the plate was excellent.
Professional-great-team : love them, cant wait to be there for a next stay in L.A.
Good very goog
Breakfast/sandwiches are awesome here. They have variety of selections for Paganini/egg dishes. Almond croissants are also very good.
Very good cuisine in a particularly lovely setting. The staff was consistently courteous.
Stopped by for Italian food on my way to work. Italian food is oddly very scarce in WeHo. To my delight, my waiter Diana guided me on an amazing lunch experience. The place wasnt busy at all on a Saturday and I consider it my new favorite hidden gem of the neighborhood. I had spaghetti Alla vongole which was made perfectly.
Cool little spot, it is one of those off the beaten track finds, that will make your day. Food was high end, super delish, and the service was phenomenal. Gr8 place to take a date fyi
The best Restaurant that I have seen. The food was really authentic.
Nice quant placeto grab a cocktail and a bite...very nice staff.
Relaxed elegance, delicious cuisine, carefully chosen wine list..low key celebrity sitings always a bonus...
We arrived hoping to enjoy a delicious dinner & were subjected to over two and a half hours of waiting! There was no manager to greet us or complain to about how unbelievably slow the service was & the restaurant was half empty which left us baffled. The waiter was very pleasant at the start but as the evening wore on he said he saw us rolling our eyes plus a few other comments he should have kept to himself. We all ordered pasta & mine was quite good although not all agreed. I realize this is summer & maybe they have different help working, but this is still a professional establishment & I would expect more. They did offer us free drinks or desert which was nice, but the chocolate cake which we mentioned was for a Birthday girl came without any candles. Need I go on? I will not be returning to Amici anytime soon!!
Cozy bistro with a simple rustic dining space serving a menu of traditional Italian dishes.
Great little cafe in Beverly Hills we stayed at the Hotel Beverly Terrace attached to the cafe and the staff are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the food on offer. Food was delicious would recommend to anyone in the area.
Nice setting, small restaurant attached to the Hotel Beverly Terrace. Lots of comfortable outdoor seating with shade and heating. Friendly staff.
Had the smoked chicken with sun dried tomatoes and goat cheese. The portion was very large and server was very attentive. The pasta was prepared well but the overall dish was very heavy and the chicken was not too moist. Would return and select smaller plate items.
Terrible food and service. Linguini half cooked, chicken.with capers too tough to chew.Weird menu choices. 1st and last time for this restaurant.
Brilliant atmosphere. Wonderful food cooked with care and attention
Charming little room with a patio. First heard of this place when it was where the cast of Friends would hang out after filming (get it:Amici) and heard it was good but never went. Then went in recently while researching catering places for my companys lunches. Met Martin Lee a Brit with Wit and had some excellent items. Nice, fresh pasta, excellent Dover Sole a la belle meuniere (sp) and the tasty white bean dip with pita, an unexpected treat. Lovely for lunch or dinner, a fairly quiet room compared to most din machines around today. BTW Unless I have fallen deeply in love, four stars is my kudos limit.
Service was excellent. Food was good. Not anything special...but good. Id return for the service alone!
I live down the street and went for a casual nights dinner on a Wednesday. I told the waiter I felt like fish and wanted it simple. He couldnt stop raving about the Branzino, that it was the best in town. I suggested Salmon, because I wanted something simple. After ordering he pushed me one more time, Ok fine, Ill get the Branzino! After being underwhelmed by the supposedly best Branzino in town, I got the bill and the fish was a $50 plate. The waiter gets an A+ on up-selling me and taking my money. What a waste!! I was so livid, it ruined my night.
If you live in Glendale, Amici has a new venue at the Americana. Come early for an outside seat while you dine on delicious Italian fare and watch the action go by and the water dancing in the lake. And the desserts.....dont count calories.
Worst service ever, I cant believe they were even allowed to operate like that on Valentines day. Or stay in business.Extremely slow, food was not tasty, at all, ridiculously long waits for anything, never came back to check in on how we were doing, no wine or water refills, no dessert options. They didnt even wish us a good night, because they didnt even come back after the bill, which I had to ask for.I would never come back here, there are no saving graces. Ill be surprised if theyre even in business a month from now. I wasnt the only one growing impatient, it just showed more on my face. Truly unacceptable and its astonishing that any place could be that horrible with service.
The food and service is stellar! Prices reflect the quality and attention provided to the diners. Glad I stumbled into this place on a rainy day.
Nice place to have brunch, near rodeo drive
Hidden gem. The grilled calamari salad is simply wonderful and the staff, welcoming
Great service & great Italian fare in a quant, charming setting.
Good food awesome admosfhere love it..
Love the ambiance and the waiter was fantastic..
The food is always good but the servers need to remember its a small place and everyone can hear when they talk badly about customers. Ive been sitting here an hour and Ive heard them put down or annoyed with 3 different people who are paying customers.2 separate checks for food and wine? Is that normal? Also, I really wish they would stop serving those nasty free cookies from a tupperware dish after dinner. Give us 1 scoop of gelato instead please.
Best Italian outside of Italy.. staff and service amazing 10/10 ❤❤
Very cozy and good Italian food
Amazing food, especially at brunch
Everything was cooked perfectly and my waiter was very helpful and friendly
Great little surprise, really enjoyed! Recommend!
Really great food, cute small place... make reservations
The Food and Service was great! They made you feel at home and Welcome.
Consistent food. typical italian fare in an extremely comfortable setting. almost always see some hollywood star dining at a nearby table. service is warm and the food is good.
Great lunch spot. Dogs allowed on the patio.
Cafe Amici has great food, atmosphere & service.
Visited this place for a light salad dish 10 days ago. Excellent service. Salad was nice. I think a little overpriced, on the other hand its Beverly Hills, you cant complain.
Really had a good time great food
Cool spot. Wine, cocktails, and good food.
This is a great little Italian restaurant that if you blink you will miss. We used to come here for lunches a lot when I worked across the street.Their pasta and sauces are very fresh and their pre-meal bread is delicious. I believe they server a white bean type hummus to go along with it.Ive had many of their pasta dishes but one of their finest is Linguine Con Scamponi Alla Griglia E Vongole linguine with grilled Hawaiian shrimps, manila clams and calamari in a light spicy white wine sauce
Old school Italian, simple great food, reasonable prices and consistant good service.
Lovely place.Recommend reservation for dinner.
Very good food, lovely patio
Memorably delicious, but not consistent
Beautiful place, you feel like home
Good food , good service
It was ok. Not rave worthy.
Great food....neighborhood gem!
Very average. nothing special in all aspects.
A reliable alternative.
Great pasta!
Amazing
Hidden Gem
Great spot
The worst restaurant in LA.
Good
Amazing green tagliatelle with Ossobuco veal ragù! Will come back! 😍
Cozy place, especially if you live in the integrated hotel. The breakfast, if booked is rich. Special dishes, such as egg dishes or other savory products cost extra. In the evening reservation is recommended. If no food is ordered, you can already doubt a good service. Therefore 2 stars deduction - too bad.
I tried this Italian restaurant and I must say that it comes very close to our kitchen. Very nice environment, friendly waiters, pleasant atmosphere. We took spaghetti with clams and caprese. The bill is right considering the area (beverly hills) and the quality of the food. I would go back there again.
It was excellent, the staff are really nice and they have well decorated the restaurant
Excellent
Very good food, great attention
Good food and friendly and welcoming
Cozy little restaurant with fine food. Little tables outside on the terrace
A hair to find in the dish!
Niceeeee
