This was the third time that I have needed Autobody Dimensions (Bethesda) services. I would never go elsewhere. They are superb in doing both simple fixes like todays (see below) and more complex bodywork and painting as I needed previously after a SUV hit my car head on. Although they were extremely busy and no longer work on cars over 20 years old because getting parts is close to impossible, both the manager (sorry, I dont remember his name) and Ramiro, an estimator, took time to both look at my car and buff off as much of the damage as possible (see photo below). Ramiro said that if he were me, he wouldnt spend the money for a new bumper on a car this age (22). He buffed it up for me gratis. I always have found everyone who works there to be honest, professional and very nice. That attitude coupled with excellent bodywork is why I have highly recommended Autobody Dimensions (Bethesda) to friends and why I have written this review to recommend them without reservations.

What a wonderful experience! Everyone who works here was so lovely and on top of it. From the person who did my estimate, the person who managed my insurance claim...everyone was super good at what they do and genuinely kind. Of course my car looks brand new now in the hands of people like that! Good, good people and superb work.

Chivalry is not dead. Had some paint marks on my bumper. Called Eric at the shop yesterday and he said he would take a look this morning which he did, removed stains for free with buffing and there was much rejoicing. Counterpoint to someone I called yesterday who does a mobile service, I texted him pictures and he wanted to charge me $300 and he was going to get paint, etc.... etc.......Autobody Dimensions is my new go- to God forbid I have future issues. I recommend readers go forward and do likewise.

I went with my brother to pick up his car. The service was great. They responded quickly to his questions, no nonsense, courteous and friendly. High quality work on vehicle. We got in and out with no problems! These were my observations. Stay safe and wear you mask!

BY FAR, THE BEST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I have ever had – and not just in auto repairs.These guys are AMAZING! This is the first review I have ever written – but my experience with them has been THAT GOOD and need to share. First, I had to get a ton of repairs done due to an accident, things took much longer than expected. The pandemic had just hit so things were backed – completely understandable and not their fault at all. I really was in no rush (we were stuck at home!), but they went above and beyond to keep me updated, put in an extra rush – at their own cost, not mine - and dealt with insurance, car rental etc. for me. Their EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE made it so seamless and easy and during a crazy time!THEN – a couple of months later, I saw that my tire was very low on air. I was in the area so drove right over to them. They remembered me, IMMEDIATELY took the car, and identified the issue –a nail had punctured it! I assumed they would tell me to leave the car or make appointment or give me a quote – which I totally would have done…..but they squeezed me, patched it up and I was on my way in LESS THAN 20 MINUTES from when I first drove in.THANK YOU Autobody Dimensions – you are the best!!

Harold and team worked seamlessly with the insurance company and completed a huge job within a reasonable time. I was informed of progress as needed and when I noticed a minor defect at pickup they corrected it immediately. Great experience.

After a long road trip, we arrived in Bethesda with a small amount of damage, but it required fast attention. We drove in to Autobody Dimensions with no warning or appointment. They were busy, so they couldnt look at the car until the next day, but then they jumped right on the task and provided a fix quickly and cheaply. They did not try to push unnecessary repairs on us.

I just had the hood of my BMW that was damaged by a falling tree branch repaired at Autobody Dimensions in Bethesda. I could not have been happier with the result. Work was done with high quality and has life-time warranty. They not only repaired the hood damage, but also helped me with a few other dents and paint damage. Price was very reasonable. They explained in detail how the work would be performed, answered all my questions, and had the car repaired in a very short time.

This is exactly the kind of place that everyone looks for in an auto body shop. They are trustworthy, reliable, communicative, responsive, and thoughtful. It is clear that they care for their customers and want to do the right thing as the bottom line. They were very helpful to me in one of my worst experiences. While moving across the country with all of my things in my car, I got into an accident that totaled my car. It was obviously a very upsetting situation, but I found myself in very good hands at Autobody Dimensions. They really took a lot of stress off of the situation, from assuring me that my stuff would be safe, having understanding for me being far away from where they were working on my car (I had to finish traveling to where I was moving), and knowing that they would try their best to make things work for me in terms of price and quality (with the hopes that the car could be repaired and not totaled). They were great, and I appreciate their honesty when it finally came time to accept that the car was totaled and that repair would not even be safe in the end. My point being, that I would recommend their services to anyone. Very good people that I am grateful for!

Have had two equally wonderful experiences with the Dimensions crew and am very pleased with the customer service and the results Both times. The first was a full interior/exterior detail for a mud caked SUV. It came back to me cleaner than I’d ever seen it. The second was damage related to an insurance claim. They were helpful guiding me through what was needed for the claims process as well as delivering an excellent result for the body work itself. Highly recommended!

These guys were great. I would have never come here if not for having someone with State Farm insurance hit me, and they are authorized for State Farm claims. They were fantastic. I brought my car in and they assessed the damage. They couldnt take my car for another two weeks, but they ordered all the necessary parts ahead of time so when I brought it in it only took two days as they told me. There were even other parts they found they needed and they were in constant communication about the progress and they expedited everything. I was very pleased and would 10/10 recommend.

Exceptional customer service and body work. Autobody Dimensions worked with my insurance company and the car rental (Enterprise) to make the entire process seamless. The manager told me he would treat my car as if it was his own (and he did). A weather forecast (rain) posed a question as to whether I could pick my car up the day it was painted or if I should wait. The manager was proactive in making the right decision, which was to wait a day. He called Enterprise and extended my car rental. Picked up my car the next day and it looked brand new. Paint job is superb. This is the only autobody shop I will ever go to, and will recommend to anyone that asks. 5-star service from beginning to end!

Took car in for some paint transfer damage and scrapes. Arrived about 15 mins early and they came out and removed the paint and some of the scratches and said, youre good to go. No charge. (I had to at least tip the mechanic). Who provides that level of customer service anymore?!! Love this place. Almost feel like I should hit something with my car just so I can go back there again. They were that good! 10 stars!

Estimates are thorough and professional -- and they do things right the first time. But the best part is the people. They are just so conscientious, caring, and considerate. If they didnt work at an auto body company, youd like to hang out and get to know them better! Ramiro Gomez was extraordinary and went the extra mile, but his colleagues are probably also as skilled. Customer satisfaction seems to be the standard. After our body shop on Capitol Hill closed its doors this summer, it was a jolt to go somewhere else, but I am so glad I discovered Autobody Dimensions. My BMW328 was damaged on the right front and Autobody Dimensions did an excellent job fixing it. They were very polite and professional and my car was ready exactly on time. I have used them before and will use them again without hesitation. I recommend them unreservedly.

Absolutely fantastic service. A tree branch fell through my back window. Honda quoted me up to $2,000 to fix it. I brought the car to a glass factory which could not repair it as they said there was a dent. Luckily I remembered Autobody Dimensions. The wonderful staff fit me in when they physically seemed to have no room for the car. A few days later the car was as good as new for just over $400. A great--and totally encouraging--experience. I never write reviews, but really felt I owed them.

Came by without an appointment to repair mirror glass that fell out of side mirror. While talking to the delightful woman at the front desk, a service person came up and offered to take a look. He then called his technician and the two of them fixed it in 5 minutes. Would not let me pay a dime. Wouldn’t even accept a tip. Would definitely be my first choice for serious or minor needs for repairs.

We needed body work done on our car, but couldn’t find the time with an upcoming trip. Autobody Dimensions let us drop off our car while we were away and assisted with setting up an estimate for our car insurance company, and then also performed the body work all while we were away.They checked in often by phone and after giving us the estimate, quickly performed the work. I was concerned they would have a problem with us leaving the car there for a week, but they couldn’t have been more accommodating and communicative. You guys are not just great -- you are the greatest!Some kind of sap or tar or hard brown flecks had gotten all over my top surfaces. Various places recommended various products. I tried them, no luck. Finally resorted to gasoline rubbed with a hard pad. That resulted in swirls all over my hood. I stopped there and went to you. Thank God! Your man did a full exterior detailing, got rid of all the brown flecks, and the swirls, and some of the other marks, added polish that made the old 2001 Mazda shine like a blue jewel. And -- as before -- you cleaned the interior, left it cleaner than when I brought it in. Gents -- I cant thank you enough.

Went to Autobody Dimensions in Bethesda just off River Road. Everyone was helpful, but Bob Russell seems to me to be the real difference-maker. Hes pleasant, communicative, and experienced Hes been doing this kind of work for years.

If you want an Auto body shop that will treat you right and do it in a timely manner, than this is the place for you. I made an appointment and got the repairs done to my car that same day. I let them know the situation and they understood and helped me out any way they good. Excellent customer service! If you need auto repairs, give them a call and make sure you as for my guy Eric.

I really want to give them the benefit of the doubt here... but I still have a bad taste in my mouth. My mustang was sideswiped on the passenger side pretty bad last spring, with obvious suspension damage on the rear and entirely likely frame damage as well. Youd assume it to be totaled, but the original damage estimate came back at around $5,000, about half the appraised value. At this point, I assume the shop did a thorough inspection and came up with a number that would almost certainly encompass all the damage that could have occurred from the accident. A good amount of damage for sure, but definitely worth repairing.A few days after they started disassembling (why was some of this not done before for a more accurate estimate?) another estimate was made for additional damage that was found. Okay, fine. But by the time the car was said to be ready, a total of four supplemental estimates had been made for additional damage, and the total came out to within $200 of the appraised valued of the car. Without a doubt, it should have been totaled at the start. But hindsight is 20/20...Then theres the workmanship... The first time I got it back, the rear axle didnt even sit straight, as evident in uneven wheel well gaps. There was also an awful noise from the supposedly completely rebuilt rear end we got from a junkyard. So back it went for another rear end overhaul. The next time I got it back, paint was peeling from the passenger side door sill. Extremely thin paint, and not prepped correctly. So back it went again. The final time I got it back, I noticed body panels not lining up correctly with uneven gaps, and the rear end of the car wasnt sitting completely level, but it was close enough that I just wanted to be done with the process.My conclusions - the car should have been totaled from the beginning if a more thorough damage inspection had been done. I want to believe that its hard to give a complete estimate for unseen damage before you start working on the car, so cant get too miffed about this. But what about the other supplemental estimates? Did nobody think to check the work once it was done, or test drive to find out the obvious problem with the rear end? Maybe this was too big a repair job than they thought, and they quickly found themselves over their heads with it... At any rate, the work was okay at best (its an accident-repaired car, it will never be perfect), took a long time (about 4 months total), and an overall pain in the neck.I ended up being able to sell it (for a loss, obviously) to a young girl who just wanted a fun car to drive around at school. I may go back here in the future for less severe work, but if you think your car may be close to being totaled, try somewhere else.

Best body shop I’ve been to in the DC area...period. I was preparing for a move across the country so I had a short timeline to get my car fixed. Mr. Russell was able schedule the estimate and repair work in short order and with great flexibility. I had to change the dates to do the repairs a couple times and he accommodated me every time with a smile. Once I actually settled on a date to drop off my car it was fixed right on schedule, just like Mr. Russell promised. The end result was fantastic. My car looks great! The folks at Autobody Dimensions made what could have been an extremely stressful ordeal a simple and easy experience.

I had to file an insurance claim for the first time because my car was vandalized and they helped me out through out the process. Vandalism aside, my car was dirty, and several of my turn signals were out. I asked for a quote on fixing the turn signals, and when I came to pick up my car, they had just went ahead and fixed the lights for free! They also cleaned my very dirty car.Going into a repair place made me worried I was going to get taken advantage of, but they definitely took good care of me and my car!Cant recommend this place enough!

This is hands down the best garage I have ever taken my car to. My car had fairly extensive damage and I thought there was no way they could finish in the time my insurance company estimated. They not only finished on time but my car came back as nice as when I first got it. The men there are great, courteous, knowledgable, and clearly take pride in their work, which shows in my brand new car.

The manager at this shop is extremely rude. They don’t need your business. My Mercedes got hit by someone who has Esurance. The manager decided before asking me any questions (where the damage was, what the estimate was from the insurance company) that he doesn’t want the business. He made a determination that their estimate was off before even asking what their estimate was or the damage. Don’t bother unless you have usaa (he said he doesn’t work with other companies, named them all by name, because they are too slow to get him his check) He doesn’t want your business and he has the worst customer service attitude.

I had scratches on one door and a minor dent, and took it to Autobody Dimensions for an estimate. The person who helped me buffed out the scratches and gave me an estimate to take out the dent. The buffing was so effective that it looked great, so I did not feel the need to fix the dent -- and he REFUSED to charge me anything for his time. He simply said to use them in the future. I absolutely will -- honest, very polite and professional, and on time! This is one of the very best business experiences I have ever had, so you can see why I am writing a review. I want to thank him (and the company) in a real way.

The staff were very helpful and fixed the issue with my car. Some critters chewed through the wiring under the hood and they fixed the wiring and installed an anti critter device.

Cant ask for more honest service: I came in after a fender bender left my paint scratched and wheel well dented. Before I could even finish filling out the paperwork for an estimate, one of their technicians came in to tell me hed buffed out most of the scratch and fixed the dent - FREE OF CHARGE! The last little scrape he said Id be better off fixing myself with touch-up paint through the dealer ($25) rather than having them remove the fender to do it, which would cost $300. Needless to say, Im coming back here for all my future repair needs.

State Farm chose this wonderful place to have my car repaired after one of their clients damaged my car. Bob, the manager, accused me of moving the driver side wheel to the passenger side to hide the damage that was insufficiently repaired. He called me a liar and wasnt pleasant at all. This place is not trustworthy and I would go somewhere else.

My wife and I had an excellent experience.They turned around a complicated fix in no time. Additionally, they coordinate some of the more painful parts of the process (rental car, etc.) with any awful customer service agent at the insurance company.All around, amazing experience and would certainly use them again!
